Smelling piney is 1000% indicative of pine gum resin/"rosin", which can be found all over Amazon. I have been medicating with cannabis & cannabis concentrates for just over a decade, now, and unfortunately was sole a gram of pine about a year ago.

Don't smoke it. Shit, at this point peoples' lungs are better off with a fake cartridge as the 'plugs' haven't found a way to pine those up yet, as shit as the "concentrate" may be.

Looks identical to the 'diamond pine gum rosin' being sold on Amazon. The 'street' concentrate game in both legal and illegal states has gotten so dirty over the past couple of years; "plugs" will buy bulk product like this and spray it down with shitty terps or distillate, hence the high.

"It gets me baked" tells you absolutely nothing, especially if you've never smoked dispensary-grade concentrates to compare to.

Looks sketchy because it is sketchy. Having been consuming concentrates for over a decade, now, and also speaking as someone who has been sold pine resin/"rosin" as "diamonds" I can assure you with almost 100% certainty that this is pine rosin. Appearance is identical to what Amazon is selling and the citrus/lemon you're smelling are much more likely than not cheap botanical terpenes.

What was this being sold to you as? "Diamonds"? Pure THC-A Diamonds aren't large boulders like what we're looking at~this consistency doesn't even slightly resemble shatter, budder, badder, and especially not live/rosin.

I am not trying to talk down on your product or be condescending; the only thing that I have to gain from going on this mini-rant is knowing that this poison isn't being consumed. Safety first, friend.

It is pretty solid quality, it is beginner friendly, it is made by a well trusted high quality company, and you can make very nice extracts on it.

Crumbled into white powder and shattered like glass, as you've described. This "pine gum rosin" being sold on Amazon looks identical to what you've shown here. Save your health and toss that poison. Have been living in a 'black market' state for a couple of years, though until 2018 I'd been living in Oregon for over a decade. Dabbled in everything from shatter & badder to THC-A diamonds (both "sauceless" and sauced)----> I can promise you that this is not a Cannabis product.

I’d stay away from anyone who is using these plastic containers to put wax in. They are literally the cheapest thing you can find on Amazon that remotely resemble dab jars.

I bought them for personal use and put a gram in one to try it. The plastic is so soft and malleable that you can easily scrape some up with wax if your dabber is even kinda sharp and then you end up smoking plastic.

As for how the wax looks, I’ve seen good stuff that looks like that and I’ve seen bad, you are going to have to trust yourself on how it smokes / tastes / feels because there’s nothing glaringly awful that jumps out at me right away.

Do not smoke this. I have been shopping for cannabis, extensively, up and down the West Coast for years and can assure you that no shatter I have ever come across looks like this. There is supposed to be some clarity to good shatter, and at room temp it should still be sticky to the touch.

Looks identical to some stuff that's going around my area for $300/oz. My state's medical program, thankfully, is expanding and dropping prices. I've been living back in my home state for just under 4 years, having moved from WA State, and in that time I have only purchased flower. If you aren't closely connected with the person/people doing the extraction, the canna-concentrate game in illegal states has become so grimy that people will cut their product with poison to stretch their product and make an extra dollar.

Pine resin is becoming all too common of an occurrence here, as well, being sold as 'shatter'; hell, It's on Amazon's next day delivery. From everything that I have read, the "flame test" is decently telltale, but isn't foolproof. Still, though, I'd heat up a small dab in a spoon and wait for it to cool. If it cools quickly and leaves a candle-wax like consistency (this will flake off the spoon when dried), it is 110% cut. Other than that, though, seeing whether it will dissolve in iso. is a go-to for many.
