It's not fashion, but maybe the issue isn't necessarily your shoes. Do you have an anti-fatigue mat with your desk? If not, I highly recommend getting one (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Sky-Comfort-Fatigue-Kitchens-Standing/dp/B00M8O122G/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_229_t_0)
>Alternately, compression leggings are a mainstay in exercise wear for a reason. They might be "skin tight" as OP describes, but they also stay put through the whole workout
Another grand thing about compression tights, capris or shorts, is that they hold your muscles firmly in place. No flapping, no bulges, and the compression will actually help prevent post-exercise soreness by reducing water retention caused by inflammation. I find that after losing a bunch of weight, my loose skin doesn't do a good job of holding my muscles in place - compression tights help so much with that.
What is most important to you? I always suggest Rockport Cobb Hill if comfort is priority (one example is the Angelina Dress Pump https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SJUO4XM). For winter, ankle boots seem like they would be appropriate for that outfit depending on how you feel about them. Perhaps something like the Cole Haan Jensynn Bootie https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MQ76MB3 could work?
Thanks, u/chazzyphant. I've been hoping for loungewear/cozy wfh clothes suggestions.
I've pretty much been living in these. I got them in about 5 colors. They're so, so soft.
Also, this is not work appropriate--unless there's no zoom meeting, but I also invested in one of these. I saw a photo elsewhere on reddit of someone wearing something similar, and I couldn't resist. This might be my favorite purchase of the pandemic.
As far as shirts go, I'm still breastfeeding, so I throw on whatever is easy in that regard. We're trying to wean though, so I'm excited to start buying cute shirts again.
So, this one can't be machine washed, but you can hand wash with cool water. I just bought it about a month ago, and it's now my favorite hat. So darn lightweight. I'm thinning a bit on top, so I've started wearing more hats.
Usually dark jeans, nicer shoes than usual (like boots with heel), and a good-looking top that highlights your assets. I don’t know what the fabric is called, but it’s stretchier than normal and looks “smooth” (not like spandex though). Here’s an example of a good style: https://www.amazon.com/Made-Johnny-Womens-Dolman-Shirring/dp/B01EIHI1A6/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=womens%2Bdress%2Bshirt&qid=1618878953&sr=8-7&th=1&psc=1
Sexy but not too revealing.
You can also spruce it up with accessories - long elaborate necklace, hanging earrings, bracelets, nice purse, etc.
Just don’t wear anything that would cripple your ability to defend yourself if needed (like shoes you can’t run in or giant hoop earrings).
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SX9SHKK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
For being so inexpensive, I set the bar of my expectations for these about three inches off the ground. But honestly, they're beautiful. Cut really well, the fabric is soft and flowy, they're not flimsy or cheap looking. And they're LONG. I'm six feet tall, and I had to hem then a little bit so they wouldn't drag on the floor. I bought the deep red, but I'm going to get a few other colors. They're more palazzo pants than wide leg trousers.
Disclaimer: I've only visited the PNW, never lived there.
Smartwool and Injinji socks! You didn't mention socks, but this is high on my personal list.
For footwear, I personally really like Merrell.
In bras, I have a small band and large cup size. Pre-baby, my entire collection was Moving Comfort/Brooks. I'm still fluctuating sizes with nursing, so I have cheaper Amazon Syrokan models currently.
Outdoor clothing - Patagonia, Mountain Khakis, Prana, and Costco (travel pants, but I don't currently see them on their website) are the places I tend to check first.
Yes, I think it's this!
These cole haan are my fave interview and work shoe. I have them in black and the pinkish but it looks nude. They have a small heel enough to give the clock sound when you walk but are comfy af. I love them!
Same as some others here. In my 20s I went for sooooo many bras in all sorts of colors and styles. Now I have 3 of this same one(2 black 1 nude) and am obsessed with them as the perfect bra for me. Affordable (like really), FRONT CLOSE, doesn't slip down my arms, but also isn't too high on the neck, comfortable, washes well, just an all around winner.
Also! Nothing wrong with T&Cs pads, but Ive swapped mine out for these ones (link below) and they’re awesome. Sewn edges (no fraying or splitting overtime), more dense and better coverage than the included inserts, and they hold their shape well.
I have this hat and it’s very versatile and packable. Possibly machine washable, I’ve never needed to wash it, but I think I’d probably handwash and air dry if I did.
I still wear leggings every day, but my WFH leggings are different from my exercise leggings. It's just psychological, but it helps me feel like I'm getting dressed for work. For WFH, it's either Zella live-in or 90 Degree by Reflex. They're matte black, high waist, slight compression, and for me they totally fit the bill of polished but comfortable.
I love these ones from Amazon! They are soft and wash well! I've ordered them three times already in different colors. Many colors are often out of stock but if you sign up to get sent an alert you can get them. Amazon Essentials V Necks
I have a pair of Arizona’s I got late last year. They stretch out kinda fast, but I find them comfy and can walk a few miles in them.
I heard about them when I went on a trip to South East Asia - and one of the people in our travel group had a pair (not sure the style, but not Arizonas, the Gizeh). Anyway she wore them everyday on our trip - even during some light hiking to the elephant sanctuary and to see waterfalls. And held up fine. She continued to wear them daily on a 3-4 month stint in Asia - eventually had to replace them. But I’d call it adverse conditions. :P
I don’t think they’ll last for ever but are comfy. I have also ridden my bike a few miles in mine.
The arch support is decent. Certainly way more than Old Navy flip flops. But I think that I like the firmer Adidas sandals for more consistent arch support. But the EVA ‘stocks are definitely work able for standing for a while.
I use these for my home shoes since I have recurring bouts of plantar fasciitis.
My sister got a similar on Amazon. I got a similar one from Tumi outlet (she copied me. :P)
These look close:
I don't remember what brand she got, but there are a bunch in the style. The one I got was still in the outlet in a different color - and I spent $50! I was shocked it was so cheap!
This ( Dressystar Women Floral Lace Bridesmaid Party Dress Short Prom Dress V Neck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074FYP41D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_HRQPJYPQ2E384V4MKS5E ) is mildly out of the zone, but still has a solid color to avoid breaking up height (still a longer profile). Instead of highlighting curves as the comfort zone dress does, it cinches the waist and covers the hips… but isn’t such a dramatic departure as so be uncomfortable. Plus, it’s not a midi… which I think (?) is a good thing! I’m thinking a midi might look oversized (?)
I am similarly sized and usually go for jersey dresses with some ruching - or I also like the nap/sack dresses in drapy fabric- I find the sack dresses look better with a heel, and the ruched with flats
Try out Amazon’s Daily Ritual brand too. They also have some that are inexpensive and solid quality. They are usually random blends. But I found them comfy when in hot and humid weather. And they have held up well.
Amazon Brand - Daily Ritual Women's Jersey Sleeveless V-Neck Midi Dress https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072JTX7KH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_V16MTA9CREHYW1D5ZN9M?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Going out (to bars at night) is the time for that fashionable piece you HAD to have, but is just a bit unpractical for work or errands. Statement sleeves, sheer tops, skirts with a too-high slit, (faux) leather pants, deep V tops, HUGE earrings.
I would wear American Apparel Disco Pants with this Zara Organza Sleeve Wrap Top and a pair of booties.
Agree with the other tips to choose one trendy or flashy piece (within your comfort level of course), esp if you're going out with coworkers with with people/place you don't know.
If the sun is still out, you can wear what I think of as "brunch wear" - flowy skirt, cute top, flats and jean jacket.
I haven't gone out in a year, but before that, when I went out with coworkers most people just wore what they would wear to work - even if we were going to a hip place in Chicago West Loop. If they changed out of work wear, you would see jeans, some skirts. Comfortable shoes. I never saw a coworkers who wasn't clearly into fashionable work clothes go out of their way to dress up for happy hour.
I got these leggings and they are SOOOOO soft! I love them. They are pretty and don't show panty lines too badly -- a really good value!
As you wish! There's a side pocket that's perfect for my phone and a waistband pocket that fits my keys.
Mine are a few years old now - I ended up taking 2-3 inches off the length so my running tan line wasn't so far off from the hem of my normal shorts (it was a little comical), it didn't impact the side pocket at all. They've held up great!
The only thing I ever see that makes me think someone is "clinging to" their youth is when they wear stuff that is way too small for them. My sister does this all the time. She actually wears her stuff from the late 80s and it looks so bad. She used to take her Def Leopard and ACDC t-shirts and cut off the bottoms so they were cropped, which was sort of cute when we were in high school and college, but. Now her belly is wrinkled and saggy. The t shirts stretch at the bottoms where her rib fat is. She thinks she looks just as hot as she did when she didn't have a big belly.
The difference here is that my sister doesn't care what anyone thinks. She thinks she looks good and she is going to dress the way she wants.
But I can't bring myself to wear cropped shirts anymore, and yeah it is probably because I feel too old.
I've found myself wearing a lot of this kind of stuff lately and I have one of these in every color because they are so easy to wear with jeans or leggings.
I don't really have a style for summer but I wear lots of dresses lately.
This top is sleeveless but super swingy, and I personally think the narrow neckline is pretty flattering (it balances out wider shoulders). I’ve been living in it this summer and think I need to get it in more colors...
Inexpensive enough to try. I purchased in different colors. I have a short neck, broad shoulders, long chest, my breasts (edit added the s), my huge rib cage and long torso with my belly. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B016YKKV4Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_59FfFb4XP5485

Never heard of them, but I googled and there was a post on here a while ago about them and the consensus seemed to be that they were a bit scammy.

Some satisfied customers, but some major customer service issues.
That's a good question, and I'm not sure I can quote a specific number. I'm also in a transition right now as I recently retired, so need more sneakers and less in the way of work/dressy shoes. Plus we are traveling more and yeah black/nude is so easy for that purpose when you can only take 2-3 pairs.
I will say my most-worn non-black/nude shoes are animal print (any sort-- snake print, zebra, giraffe, cow-- but I do like leopard a lot), and my white booties. White is easy to start with if you are already used to wearing white sneakers. Third would be anything metallic; metallic is an easy win as it can work as a neutral. Recently I bought these which are the perfect metallic for me.
For high heels, a bright red is surprisingly versatile. As I am at an age that I can barely wear high heels anymore, a few years back I found a comfortable pump and duplicated it in black, nude, and red suede. That's all I need! The red and nude pair gets more wear than the black. But yeah this pump was not offered in an animal print-- if it was I'd have bought that instead of the black!
If you want some major shoe inspiration, I love Susan at unfemme.net. Frankly, I would love to own her entire shoe collection. She has amazing taste in shoes!

I know those JCrew sweaters. They have some similar at JCrew Factory in a “cotton/wool/nylon blend” (I would guess very little wool).
But also, shockingly, these look not half bad? https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Essentials-Standard-Crewneck-Sweater/dp/B09QXMVKY4
I haven’t tried them but they look to be nailing the basic cotton crewneck. (Obligatory screw Jeff Bezos, but you do what you gotta do.)
I'm going to wear this wrap skirt from Amazon, but I am undecided on a top as of right now. I like to dress up a bit, but no one else in my SO's family dresses up much, so I don't like to be too formal.
Have you tried the overnight sock?
I had killer PF, wore this for a month and now I’m back out in the world in my Chucks and Jordans with no issues (city life, 3-5 miles walking everyday). (While also upping the quality of my exercise shoes to custom fitted Brooks.)
This is the style, just for reference: https://www.amazon.com/Translucent-Pantyhose-Flawless-Slimming-Stretchy/dp/B09FQ8ZG46/
Nude fleece with a darker overlay to make it look like sheer black tights against skin.
I've seen booties with a u-shaped dip on the ankle side, kind of like a very modern elf shoe, basically a D'Orsay bootie I see it's also called "Side slit which I don't find to be a very accurate description but that's what they call it!
That's what I would go for, personally. Now speaking frankly, those are dated but sometimes you have to choose your priorities. I'm wearing nearly 100% late 90s early 2000s-wear because I found a brand that is made for me and I'm collecting all their various pieces. Is it hot and trendy? Not on purpose! But do I love it, yes.
I found my holy grail pants!
https://www.amazon.com/Levis-Womens-94-Baggy-Utility/dp/B09N5WFRW3?th=1 (I got them on sale at Macy's tho)
They make my stomach so flat and my butt so cute! I wish they came in black and every other color!
A little more off-the-wall suggestion...wear dance shoes. Specifically Latin dance heels. They have padding all along the ball of the foot. I dance for hours at dance socials in them and feel pretty comfortable. Something like this. (They make higher or lower heel heights too, just grabbed a random example.)
I have heard good things about Sacha London, but this is the only syle I own (very comfortable for heels!!!) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L194P8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
they're kind of expensive so I would suggest taking a look at Poshmark or something if you want a break on the retail price
I love my Orvis chenille sweaters. Orvis doesn't sell them anymore but there plenty on second hand sites (and oddly, Amazon.
Friend, let me introduce you to the world of dickeys! Collared shirts flatter my face, but I don't like wearing a collared shirt under a sweater - too bulky, awkward lumps, constantly trying to readjust. At the beginning of this year, I bought two sets of dickeys, the pointed collars in the link and another set of peter pan collars. They instantly upgrade my look without the annoying bulk. I've gotten tons of wear out of them, including on video calls and even a couple of panels I presented on last spring.
I have bad feet, plain and simple. I have a variety of issues with both feet and it's becoming harder and harder to find shoes that are cute AND comfortable.
Cobb Hill Women's Aubrey Dress... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DZB3YZE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I just bought these ^^ recently and they have a high price tag but totally worth it. They are ridiculously cute and sooo comfortable. I would absolutely but them again.
Having your bra straps show through any dress is a no no, get these for a quick fix Coverups
Seconding the home laser option! I bought mine off Amazon Braun IPL Silk 3. I have fair skin but DARK body hair and the reduction in hair regrowth just this summer is fantastic. I shave once every 2 weeks, use the laser, and it seems to work really well!
Clothes on Amazon can be hit or miss, but I liked this smocked dress I got a couple years ago.
I saw it recommended by Extra Petite, a blogger I follow even though I am a completely different body type because I tend to trust her recommendations.
It's flowy and the smocking is very forgiving.
You will have better results if you search amazon by “bamboo pajamas for women” but here is an example! amazon bamboo pjs
Corset top and blouse. Something like this, but the draped sleeves in a blue. Or with a blue chiffon top under a simple corset.
I'm looking for earrings like this slim jaw-length hammered/beaten gold leaf or "pod" shape.
US Based, budget up to $100 for a high quality pair, costume or faux is totally okay. Pierced is preferable but if there's a vintage clip version of some kind I'm cool with it.
I love the delicacy of these but they're not dainty. They're absolutely gorgeous in motion.
From the tv show "Irma Vep"
I was able to find a kinda-dupe: these from Amazon but they're a bit different--they don't have two overlapping long narrow hammered gold "leaves" which is what I like about the screenshot item.
Any leads? Or does anyone recognize those?

I was looking for a short sleeve cardigan the other day, and I found a lot of options on Amazon. Check this one out. If this doesn’t work, there are a lot of similar ones: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073CQQ334
I've been using my Friendly Swede belt bagregularly for the past 3 years, and would strongly recommend it to others.
Also highly recommend Lo & Sons's belt bag options. I love the Waverly.
Just bought this one for the summer. Affordable and cute. Or you can search a “Panama hat” style. I like these better than baseball caps because they sit looser on the head and dont squish my hair as much
I'm not typically a fan of Amazon, however I've bought myself a few of these: WearAll® Women's Plus Batwing Shirt Dress Long Sleeve Dip Hem Hi Lo Button Collar Ladies 16-26 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DC59Z8C/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_ZR4NTKFDN5AEJ2R3RFZ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They're a kind of crepe material, sort of stretchy. I typically pair them with skinny trousers, a boot and a long vest/waistcoat. They're dressy enough for the office and flowy enough for days when I'm otherwise uncomfortable (I suffer from IBS).
Warning: do NOT put them in a tumble dryer!
I hate to recommend Amazon but this is close.
I’m guessing silk is going to be harder to find than poly. I want a blue or black version of it in cotton but they’re hard to find.
I have this dress in multiple patterns! The top is cotton and the bottom is…. Not sure of the material but can be dressed up or down!
I just bought this Levi jean jacket and love it. It fit surprisingly perfectly. Fitted without being tight, the perfect semi cropped length, and soft yet structured. The L fit perfectly but I sized up to an XL so I could layer thicker layers under it and even the XL fits really nicely!
I got this French terry dress from Daily Ritual - Daily Ritual Women's Supersoft... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YDJCC8J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share it’s a comfy dream come true, I think this is the third color I get of this style, they wash really well. It’s so cute with sneakers or booties, and appropriate for business casual attire (I’m 5’6 and it hits right above the knee). This dress is true to size.
Another purchase is this top - Amazon Essentials Women's Fluid... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WSB5L4Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I wasn’t sure when I received it, but once I tried it on I was hooked because it’s so cute. I got the blue plaid fabric. The cut is not form fitting (but it’s true to size in the shoulders); so I plan on tucking the front into jeans or a denim/casual skirt. I may get another color (I’m notorious for getting multiples of a style I really like)
Oh, the fact that you used the phrase “hurts like that dickens” is so endearing! I feel like we could be friends.
I am huge fan of Clarks for comfort. These are a lighter shade of pink but I think they might work if you are open to a lighter shade:
Omg ok do I potentially have THE pants for you! I’m wearing them right now. The Sketchers Go Walk Air (the last word is important)
Good luck!
Some wedge heel sneakers. I saw someone rocking them with a work outfit and now I am obsessed.

It's probably only exciting for me, the worst shopper on the planet, but I finally got a pair of white Adidas! https://www.adidas.com/us/nizza-platform-shoes/FV5322.html
I also got, per the recommendation of another Redditor, headbands that are actually comfy and cute!
My hair is a couple inches past my shoulders when straight, shoulder-length when curly. I bought these headbands on Amazon and find them VERY comfortable, and they look good with my hair either texture
I also hate shapewear, and I recently bought a loose-fitting one cheap on Amazon.
The fabric feels lovely, although the company's size labels were a little confusing to me.
I totally feel you. After having my kids, my body was completely different, and I hated everything in my closet. At the end of last year, I randomly came across this book (linked below) at the library and found it to be so helpful in finding my style (I ended up buying a used copy on Amazon so I could continue to reference it).
I ended up looking at fashion photos I pinned on Pinterest and finding common themes with pants, tops, dresses, shoes, and other accessories. I was surprised to uncover that I'm drawn to metallic shoes and statement earrings. I found that my style doesn't really match any of the influencers I follow.
Right now, I'm trying out my "uncovered" style through Nuuly (clothing rental service). I work from home, but am meetings (required to have camera on), so I feel like I'm getting use out of my rentals. Plus, I wear them on weekends. It's a fun way to try clothes out and really test out clothes/styles.

I second the Spenco recommendation. They look similar to the Ugg’s with the faux shearling liner but the arch support is wonderful.
Spenco Women's Supreme Slide Mule https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BTWHSIK/
I have one that is like this https://www.amazon.com/Under-Armour-Womens-HeatGear-Tank/dp/B01FX1AXPW
It's a tank with a sports bra and it's heavy duty. It really holds them in place.
I second Keens! I have flat feet and falling arches and Keen is the only brand I’ll wear to fight foot fatigue. They are roomy enough for thick socks but they also fit well with everyday socks. I just bought these and they are warm and comfy!

I can't help with the ethical/sustainable bit, but I swear by clark's Jerica pumps. Only this specific style seems to work for me.

I have the most amazing kitten heels from Kelly and Katie. They're probably close to ten years old at this point and I keep coloring the toe caps in with sharpie, but I can wear those suckers all day long. I've never had a pair come close...
I bought 4 of the following cowl neck cable neck sweater. They are 100% cotton, super comfy, and warm. I have gotten a few compliments on them. For the over size comfy feel I ordered them a size or two above as they do shrink a little bit, but even over sized they don't look sloppy if that makes sense.

Also Ugg has some stupidily soft, fuzzy, and comfy sweaters, but much more expensive. I own the one I am linking, it seems to be the same material type and neck cut as the one you posted:
Amazon has a really nice cashmere one for under $50. I saw it recommended someplace and ordered it, and I was very pleasantly surprised.
I recently bought a pair of Clark’s boots that I love. They have become my new everyday shoe this season: boot link
Fanny packs! or as we call them now, belt bags / waist bags. I bought a simple canvas one for my walks and I surprised myself with how much I love it. I've been wanting to buy a nicer leather one that looks better.
For the gym, I bought a half gallon water bottle with a sleeve that has a pocket big enough for my phone. Let's be honest, I carry that bottle with me everywhere... but I only put my phone in it at the gym.
I have a larger wallet/clutch that has removeable wrist strap and a shoulder strap, that I keep my everyday essentials (wallet, lip balm, rolaids, silk fan). I use it to switch easily between bags, but I can also put in my phone and keys, grab it and go. Such as at work: when I want to go pick up lunch, I don't want to carry my whole backpack but I need more than just a wallet. TBH it's not that cute, but it's 3 years old and I still find it indispensable. Now it comes in a lot of different colors too.
Please try the product I created to fix this issue!

I convert my Van Old Schools into slip-ons with these silicone shoelaces. They are as easy to put on as a slip-on shoe and still have that traditional sneaker look. This probably would work for a lot of lace-up sneakers.
I also like that you don't have to deal with the excess shoelace ends at the top
I found these Lee side elastic waist pants on the J.C Penny website last year and decided to give them a try. They were so popular they kept on selling out so I wasn't able to buy more pairs. Then Pennys quit selling them. But Amazon has them. I wear them a lot so I now own a half dozen pairs. Bonus- they have deep front pockets which fit a mobile phone very nicely.
I also became a convert recently. I have three Cosabella Never Say Never Curvy. It's an even better buy for US ladies, there's always cheap colours on your Amazon. For reference, I normally wear 32F and the small fits great.
I'll admit I've sworn off thin t-shirts and anything made of that unforgiving material that leave little to the imagination so I don't often worry about bra seams and nipples showing but when that's a potential issue, Knix bras are great. They're completely seamless and feel like wearing nothing at all. I have an unlined one and one with that really thin padding.
I'm not yet 35 (but close!) so my preference might still lean a bit "young", but I love layering satin/silk bikini bras under clothing that might "show" what's underneath (like loose tops were when you lean over one might be able to see your bra etc)
I got https://www.amazon.com/Triangle-Bralette-Breathable-Non-Underwire-Champagne/dp/B07G5CTGT7/ref=sr\_1\_6?dchild=1&keywords=silk+bra&qid=1628645380&sr=8-6 in pink and black, I might buy other color. I have pretty small boobs but they are not pert anymore because I breastfed, and those bras are perfect for me rn. Holds things in place, comfortable, and not too big a deal if someone saw them when I lean over/bend down etc.
This might get booted. But these are my go-to no show socks. I’ve got an 8.5-9 size foot. Most no show socks hurt my feet if I wear them all day. These are the best with hiding and fairly comfortable. Also comes in different sizes. 4 Pairs No Show Lace Cotton Liner Hidden Non-Skid Boat Socks Women https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073YRDZNS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6FVVXTQ7X9MM9HAECY4Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have 3 pairs that are off-brand from amazon and not expensive ($18 for 3 pairs), and I only wear them at night with a pad to protect the sheets. I occasionally wear them at the tail end of my period when it's just spotting by themselves too. That said, they are awesome and I'm sure they'd work just as well full-time, although if you have anything more than a light flow, you need to double up with some other period product. They are as absorbent as a single layer of thin fabric, but they are waterproof so you wouldn't leak. You'd probably just feel very messy- no magic fibers here, just cotton. Also, because they are waterproof, the bacteria starts to smell after several hours of wear because there is no air flow. I have a very heavy flow for a couple days and was staining my sheets every month and these were truly life changing for solving that problem. Also would be good if you're doing some very active sport and want to make sure you don't leak.
So first of all, your album is adorable and you are rocking a lovely command of color. That cardigan is a great piece.
Second of all, if you like the vintage 60s/70s feel, get thee to Andrea Linnett's I Want To Be Her! site because that is her aesthetic sweet spot and you'd really love what she's going for. Linnett has a book called The Cool Factor with outfit ideas that range from minimalist NYC creative pro to vintage-with-an-edge, and I think you'd find the visuals really helpful. There's a dress like your mom's super-great dress in there and I think you'd find it useful to see how they approached styling it (tougher black strappy shoes, for example).
So I’m 5’9 and 150-something pounds and ordered a large. Probably could have gotten away with a medium but I like the looseness of these!! Also they’re 20-ish dollars.

This coat.... it's insane for 100 bucks. I bought mine in a large (I, too, suffer from junk in the trunk) and had it tailored because it was very generous. I still think it's nicer than the TNF coat I just bought, and I'll wear it instead of the TNF on super cold days on my long walk into work. I got the TNF because I had a sweet coupon I couldn't let expire...

I just got this one, so far so good. I have no idea how long it will last, but it did wash fine. I did wear it around one morning and one night both times got too hot, but it has only dropped into the 40's so far.
I bought mine off of Zulily. I've seen it in tank top, crew neck, v-neck and sweatshirt offered there at varying times.
It's up on Amazon too
I had this one - it lasted about 2 years with weekly use. Great for everything except very delicate fabrics.

After this one stopped working, I splurged on one from Steamery. USB charged & so much better with delicate fabrics. I wished the lid snapped on more securely. Besides this detail, I wished I splurged on this fabric shaver years ago. I found the Amazon reviews somewhat lacking in comparison to my personal experience.
I've bought from cupshe and was very happy with the quality! Also a lot of their suits can be found on Amazon, so if you have prime, it's nice to get the fast shipping and Amazon return policy. I bought this suit and found it to be true to size, thick quality fabric, and a design I hadn't really seen before. I love it!
