Amazon Edit: Why the downvote? Too long? Not the proper kind of book to be posting here? I really like the idea of this subreddit but don't want to post things I thought were interesting / have seen recommended if they don't fit.

Take some Jews, give them some police badges and autonomy, throw them at Alaska and and there you go -- a decent novel!
