Those Ciscos are brutal. I couldn't get them to work and I am one who doesn't give up easily. I read of someone who got them to work recently on one of the subreddits (I will link if I find it). There has also been reports of these phones being permanently bricked when factory reset. Prior to diving in, I'd encourage you to test with softphones. Microsip is my preferred choice but Linphone also works good. There's also an old 3CX app that works great as well. If it weren't brazenly branded 3CX it would have been my preferred app for customers. You can grab one of these at $40 https://www.amazon.com/Fanvil-Lines-Entry-Level-Display/dp/B07KKKTNW3/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?crid=522R0QQLP4JO&keywords=fanvil+x2&qid=1653003211&sprefix=fanvil+x%2Caps%2C328&sr=8-7
Ah I see. The world of live TV is quite interesting when making props and gags like this.

I was thinking about what other alternatives are available for you and I remembered that you're using an ATA with traditional phones.
This brings up the option of traditional phone recorders such as this one (stereo) or this one (mono). You just have to tap one of the phones with it. Also, with this you won't need a PC acting as a softphone since you can plug in the output of the device directly to a mixer. This saves you the effort of dialing/answering the pc line at the right moment, configuring the pc, etc.

Since with a setup like this you will be calling from one phone to another on the same ATA I think it might be possible to skip entirely the PBX portion of the setup. You just have to figure out if its possible to call from one port to another.
It's not clear exactly what you're looking for. Paid support is available from Sangoma:

For free support, the FreePBX forum will probably answer all your questions:
Yesterday, I was looking through https://rclone.org/gui/ and came across this absolute gem.
rclone rcd --rc-web-gui
When you run this in a terminal, it opens a web page that allows you to connect to your rclone repos using that web interface.
If you go the rclone
way, you have GOT to check this out.
one second, did you manage to make it work on FreePBX ?
cause I was just following the CentOS 7 installation guide from official page:
https://www.wireguard.com/install/
and basically, I get installation errors on the wireguard-tools package installation due to python dependencies conflict. would you please guide me how did you do it ? anything would be helpful.
I didn't want to overwhelm you (coz we've just met :)
But the next level would be to add encryption and snapshots over rclone
Which brings us to restic
Can you provide your Trunk Settings from the web interface under Connectivity > Trunks > Edit Trunk > SIP Settings > Outgoing/Incoming. Redact your username/password/DID.
This looks like it has the settings for trunk setup. This post indicates you'll need to use sip1.voipbuster.com as sip.voipbuster.com may be depreciated. Not sure if you're forced to use a STUN server. Try to avoid it if possible.
You'll also need to have a default Outbound route set up under Connectivity > Outbound routes. I use the following dial patterns:
1NXXNXXXXXX 911 NXXNXXXXXX
Route Settings should have VOIPBuster selected for "Trunk Sequence for Matched Routes".
Is there a reason the SIP client has to be web based?
If you need a software based client, I like Linphone. Another good option is Zoiper. There are desktop and mobile clients for both of them. You just have to put in the SIP credentials for the extension, and they can use a headset on the computer to make calls.
