And for the Li-Ion battery (easier to leave without constant charging + weight savings): also on Amazon
The original owner installed them. It has a part number on it though, 50R-001174. Looks like they're just generic LED amber blinkers. I found them on Amazon.

Just bought some led's off of Amazon that are plug and play, much brighter than the stock halogens! Not sure about longevity, I've only had them for a couple weeks, but as far as brightness I'm incredibly satisfied without breaking the bank.

I have mine direct wired to the battery. i just disconnect the charger if i’m not using it.

with something like this
Not the exact solution you're looking for but ... If you've got the coin, you could get an oil filter magnet and ez-drain oil plug. That drain plug has been a life changer for making quick clean oil changes.
I haven't used the magnet myself, but I looked into it as one point. I do however use the larger car size oil filters for better performance.

I used this:

With a scouring pad it took quite some time to get it shiny again. I just ket rubbing until is was clean. But some spots just did not want te go away. But i am super happy with this result.
Amazon special. Has a lot of good reviews and the display is pretty bright, easy install as well.

Cool, cool. I have something very similar on my fz.
Something like this was plug and play for me with that setup. Really like it over a halogen bulb. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I9K30YK/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_RGT8QD4P7M1VTDZTCX13?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I bought an 08 with 30,000 miles last February and broke the clutch cable in front of Rockefeller Center this past February.
That was a hell of a ride through midtown.
Edit: In the meantime, if there's a leadtime for your new cable like there was for mine, this kit worked great for a temp fix. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLGKQEC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks! It’s a Motodynamic taillight. Could’ve gone for the knockoff, but I figured I’d rather have better quality taillights since that’s a road-safety function. The blinkers are integrated into the taillight and I split the signal so the LED strips (near exhaust) light up as well. My favorite feature is the rapid flashing when engaging the brakes though, I feel like that’s an underrated feature
When I purchased my 2005 FZ6 a few months ago, they were super stiff. I cleaned the clutch cable and chanted levelers, it solved the problem for me. The cable is in good condition and didn’t need change, just some cleaning and care. I purchased these Motorcycle Short Brake Clutch... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MV6ZO9S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and this KiWAV Cable Lube Luber Lubricator... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009YEYL0I?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share from amazon. I used wd-40 to clean the clutch cable, I know it’s frowned upon, but it was my first time and I was giving it a try, it’s been like this for a month now and no issues.
I had a bit of an unconventional method, as I tried to buy a light kit from Ebay for the fz6n model. Quick tip dont buy from china. Got some shitty quality light and mount that I tried and tried for so long, but couldnt end up fitting. Even modified the mount a bit, but to no avail. Anyways, I ended up using the mount from that kit that bolts by the horn and under the clamp thing for the handlebars. Seems quite solid, also zip tied it for good measure. Not sure what you plan on doing for a light, but I would recommend this amazon buy, or anything similar. Works great, really bright, looks nice, and wasnt too hard to put on. Only thing is I had to bend the original fork mount as they were bent to shallow. Just used a piece of a dowel close to 43mm and put it in a vice. Also had to splice a couple connectors together, but pretty easy to do. Got a slick streetfighter look.
I bought Viking bags which I can’t find on amazon anymore, but something like this: Motorcycle Saddlebags/Panniers Waterproof Travel Luggage Bags 36L-58L Expandable Capacity https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K42VPMD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JeCqEbK2W4ECH
Thanks.. I'd love to get another bike into the mix but it's just not reasonable at the time sadly. The FJR will win me over in my 40's maybe lol.

the sae is just a common connector type. this is the connector that i have leading to my battery:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSK7ZAV
basically the usb component has a resistor in there that's slowly draining your battery. a physical switch will completely break the connection to the battery
I went with this for the price, have had no issues since I bought it a year ago:

This one is a steal for 19 dollars shipped and blocks wind better than stock ( I have had mine on for 4 years)
You might be able to fish it out with a magnetic pick up like this
Before you go the route of replacing, buy a seal mate or product like it. Chances Are your seal is fine and a lil dirt is there, these tools get dirt out and helps to make the seal work again. Only $10-20 bucks depending on which you get

This is the one I use, there are cheaper alternatives, but I find this to be the best made and easiest to use. Attaches to fork, slides down into seal, rotate and lift as it completes a full circle, and done. Give it a few pumps to make sure no more fork oil coming out.
Here's an image of the cover: https://imgur.com/a/5Bqeq
It's the OEM cover for this bike. I think retail is around $100

Thanks! Those are CRG shorty levers... many will say you can save a ton of money and buy the cheaper eBay ones but these are pure quality in my book. They hold up incredibly well and I'm a two-finger kinda guy ;-)
