Its easy to apply and pull of if you need to correct even gives you a sheet of paper with instructions.. also to get it to stick even better i rubbed my hands on it creating heat to get the adhesive to stick better .. also easy to push the bubbles out
I think the can design of monster is honestly some of the best design on a can of anything, when there are millions of designs out there. They’re cool there and spread even, personally if you ever rack up the bread for a glass door mini fridge that’d be a badass way to display them and keep your beverages cold imo. Otherwise cool room dude. I know it seems like everyone has an opinion on the can thing. Do what you like though.
right now what i think my plan is is to use smart power strips with energy monitoring and individual outlet control. then setup a routine to trigger when it detects a certain wattage draw to turn on a smart LED. and turn off when it detects 0 or under a certain wattage(for things like the ps4 that just go into a sleep mode usually.

Thanks. I got the comic book wall mounts from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GP1HJQG/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_GDhyEbMF8QACK and got the card case there also https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0033RZCPK/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_sHhyEbV55403C
If you have a lot of game consoles that are pre-4K, I bought one of these 8-port HDMI switchers: IOGEAR 8-Port HDMI Switch with RS-232 Support, GHSW8181 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005S0YNNM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WJoFCb0APSH09
Normally, I'd suggest a Power Bridge because it provides a new outlet behind the TV. It's very easy to install, but I'm not sure if you're renting or not and holes in drywall are a huge no-no on rentals.
I used these on the guest bedroom because there is no outlet where one is needed:

It only takes 2 or 3 coats to paint them completely. Two years in and the adhesive is still pretty well bonded. Just make sure that you do a quick pass with some sandpaper to rough up the plastic before painting.
Nice collection.
I would replace the bins with something like this for ascetics...
Thank you!

Really depends on how "finished" you want to make it. Stained concrete is pretty to look at but it's still concrete and to me looks unfinished. You would not want to walk barefoot on it. I'm currently finishing my basement very very slowly and have put down plastic, 2x4 wood to frame, sub floor and then last but not least my own planks cut and burned by myself. Here's my setup so far. Game room next. https://imgur.com/a/Am2i3EL
If you don't want to do all that you could look into carpet tiles like this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NYF645Q/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_A3Z02GHC62AP1KVN4MJT Less to worry about if something spills on it or it gets dirty which can definitely happen in a basement.

I agree with the above comment saying you need a matrix. Here's an example of one that might work but it's only 4x2 so In your situation you'd need two. (switches with more than 4 outputs are suuuuuuper expensive)

The one I sent doesn't support 4k 120 but I'm sure there's on that does also that one doesn't support 1440p resolutions.
Have you considered mounting your TV? You could get floating shelves for your consoles, there are these stackable ones I recently got on Amazon and they work great AND have cablemanagement assists.
If you're not afraid of cutting into the drywall I'd run the cables through the wall so they can't be seen.
You can buy something cheap from Amazon like this.
my wall is wired for 4 power outlets, and I have 4 of those 12 outlet power strips from Harbor Freight. They do not have surge protection in them but I do have some remote controlled outlets that I can cut power to with a remote. All consoles are connected to those same with the Electronics like TV, Surround Sound, etc.

Haha they sure are, thanks for the warm welcome!! I wanted lights but didn’t want to overwhelm the room so I thought hmmm, I’ll use the netting you throw over bushes & trees at Christmas time! They were really cheap on Amazon. I stretched them across the wall using 6 picture hooks to hold them in place. Easy install & easy takedown. Ollny LED Net Mesh Fairy String Lights
Aight, here's my update!
Picked up this item on amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01CCF6V3A/ref=pe_386430_126088100_TE_item
It wasn't a plug in and play, I had to do some installations and configurations to make it work properly. Installed Retropie on it which has every emulator. Couple snags I came across were that some the roms needed to be the right filetype to work on retropie so I had to track down compatible ones.
Another little annoyance was there was some very noticable input lag so I had to go and modify the config files to get it more tolerable(Nothing will ever beat originals on CRT). I can now play sidescrollers again! A thing I never knew about the Rasberry pi was that you can also install Kodi(Which I just found out what it was a couple days ago) and turned it into a media station as well. So on top of it being an emulation station I also use it to stream TV and Movies.
Last little annoyance was that there is no way to turn the Box back on after you've shut it down. You have to manually unplug it and plug it back in to start it up. There were a couple solutions for this problem but the one I went with was the lazy solution. I just bought a remote plug switch so that I just use a remote to turn power off and on to that plug in.
So that's where I'm at! Been a lot of fun!
I think this might be what you are looking for. I have a few of these and seem to work really well. I found these from a pic of another game room. They are use for DJ lighting equipment.
