you must have had some grandfathered plan they are absolutely per user now. https://workspace.google.com/landing/partners/referral/gws.html?AID=14078424&PID=7950586&utm_source=sign-up&utm_medium=affiliatereferral&utm_campaign=apps-referral-program&utm_content=cj%7C14078424%7C7950586%7C5230914
I'm in exactly the same position as OP. Since 2007 I've been using the free email forwarding (100 pack) from GoDaddy to send incoming mail to where I want it to go. The move to MS 365 means the end of Workspace Email at GD, but there's nothing to replace email forwarding.
The rep I spoke with yesterday told me the equivalent would be to buy actual mailboxes at $4/user/month [On sale - save 50% - $8/user/month when you renew]. Since I have [let's say] 100 email forwarding addresses in play, the service that uaed to be free would now cost me $4,800 for the first year and almost $10,000 per year after that.
This isn't going to happen.
At this point, I'm reluctant to give GoDaddy even the $25 for domain renewal. I'm also investigating namecheap.com and will move once my final question is answered.
Which is this: At the moment, I'm using smtpout.secureserver.net at GoDaddy for outbound mail. That way my recipients think that my actual email address is my address that has been forwarded. [email protected] is an email forwarding address that points to [email protected] for inbound mail, but replies appear to come from [email protected] which is great. What's the equivalent service at Namecheap?
Namecheap also has a discount code BYEBYEGD for those moving a domain from GoDaddy. I hope to be saying BYEBYEDADDY very soon.
Go to godaddy.com/whois and see if your domain name is registered to Godaddy or another registrar. You can use Godaddy's DNS but the domain name could be registered else where i.e. "off site".
Let me kind of reword your request, I think I understand but just confirming.
You are using the web builder. You give people access to the hidden private page. On that page you would like them to fill in thier email address for email campaigns but you want that email to go to the MailChimp interface. Correct?

On the private page you could add an HTML area and find the MailChimp code and paste. Looking at your post history, it seems you would be comfy with that. If that HTML has Java actions though, I do not think it will work.
GD does have a tier where they offer email marketing as well. Follow with more if needed.
Hi James!
Hopefully I can help you with this, as I am in the same boat as you and recently did this myself.
So I have WordPress through GoDaddy (no cPanel environment - but if you have this, the below should still work).
The guys at CloudFlare are cool dudes and provide free SSL protection:
https://www.cloudflare.com/plans/
Bare in mind this is only a foundation level of encryption and as such you get a shared SSL certificate that only covers the connection between the visitor and CloudFlare. But you still get that shiny lock symbol and some form of security, as well as other benefits like DDoS mitigation and metrics.
You'll need to create an account with CloudFlare and choose the 'Free' plan. Change your domains nameservers to GoDaddy for an seamless experience and then install and enable a SSL plugin on your WordPress site.
You can then configure your Cloudflare settings following their documentation and everything will be setup. All in all, the process takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour.
If you have any questions, let me know.
