I'd like to know as well, but I will say avoid the cheap assemblies like this. They vibrate to pieces and are dimmer than stock.
Personally, I would get the OEM style toaster (looks to be ~$15) and signals (~$10/pair) off Ebay with matching LED bulbs and electronic flasher relay. At least until I found something better just so I could ride.
If you like to work on your bike or would like to get in to it, I added a tachometer to mine a few months ago and would recommend it. It was a fun process to study the Rebel forums and then install it. I haven't had any issues with it so far.
Thanks! I used the Ditrio 12 piece LED kit and I also needed to pick up some 3M automotive exterior attachment tape since the tape included with the light kit doesn't seem to stick well to plastic (and also because I messed up a lot lol). The hardest part was finding a place to hide all the wires. I've got them tucked under the seat and behind the two removable plastic pieces on the sides. This should go without saying but make sure to secure all the extra wires in place with zip ties as the vibrations from the bike will shake anything that's not held tightly in place loose after a while. I'd also recommend removing the rear fender (just the top part) and the gas tank before you begin if you're planning on putting lights underneath like I did on mine. It'll be a lot easier to stick the lights and run the wires that way.
I just got my 2020 Rebel 500 two weeks ago. I got this poor man’s Ram Mount and it has been fantastic: Link: TruActive Unbreakable Bike Phone... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PVMV49J?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Here’s the link. Fits perfectly. There is rubber lining in upper mount to prevent scratching. A little tough getting the factory bolts off, but otherwise pretty simple install. Crash Bar Engine Guard Protection... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D44ZKW9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Well I just bought these under chassis bags which should be arriving soon: Bressket all leather under chassis bags
I have this luggage rack which I still need to install: Luggage rack
And I want to get a diamond stiched seat and an Atlas throttle lock.
Here's a used one from an '04.
If you're willing to work with a generic part that may be a little longer than what you need (i.e. cut off the excess length), here's a new generic tube for $10.
Throttle tubes aren't anything special, they just need to fit your handlebar and the control housing. A hacksaw to a slightly longer part and you're off to the races.
2018 500 here - Pretty happy with this Kit (seat and pegs)
I buy mine through Amazon
2017-2021 Honda Rebel 300 CMX300... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F8LP95N?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Made it so much easier just having everything like the filter , funnel , and the oil included
Thanks for the feedback. Ended up returning the cheap ones I bought and getting these. Replaced the throttle tube and worked like a charm. Don't love the silver bar end aesthetic, but I think I'll just paint them.
My saddlebags are a combination of some wildheart waterproof bags so that I can collapse them down when not in use to make lane filtering easier: WILD HEART Waterproof bag... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077TPKNH4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And these saddlebag offsets: SIDE SADDLE BAG SUPPORT CARRY BAR... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZYRSJYX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Depending on the rack you are using for your top box the supports will go under or over the mounts for your rack. At any rate you'll want to get longer case-hardened screws that are 8x1.25 spec from an automotive store to prevent the misfortunate adventure of a sheared bolt. You'll also want to get some loctight on those screws to make sure that they don't wiggle out if you ever camp in an area with dirt roads.
I'm also using a fender rack so my bags go over the top of those but get locked under my top box making them theft resistant in urban areas since the usability of the bags will be destroyed if someone seeks to steal them.
They were just universal mirror mounts I found on Amazon, however they’re made of cheap aluminum and I’m on the hunt for a proper permanent solution.
These are the mounts I ordered however!
Yeah, the old tachometer didn’t have a gear indicator and neither the old or new have a rev meter. I’m a new rider myself and I appreciate having the gear indicator on mine but don’t feel I need a rev indicator.
There’s a lot of aftermarket options for the CMX 500 for both, the gear indicator is a small and easy to install, it’s plug and play basically.

Not the most helpful answer as it looks like it's currently unavailable on Amazon, but I've been using this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWE1T7R/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
Even though it's currently unavailable, you might be able to use the dimensions and rubber mount types as a reference for what you might be looking for.
One caveat about this type of stand, is there have been comments about it (or others like it), where the arms of the stand might rub against the stock exhaust of the rebel when trying to lift it, causing a issue. This isn't an issue with some aftermarket exhaust slip-ons, as is my case, but I've read that people get around this by removing their exhaust, which may or may not be more effort than it's worth.
This is the only one I've found but based on the reviews, it doesn't seem to mount easily or be well made. It also says it fits 1986 and up, which not sure if it's a typo on their end or if it really won't fit my 1985.
So the best upgrade I did to the seat was buy this cushion off amazon. It straps over the original seat and is SO MUCH MORE comfortable. I cannot praise this lovely cushion enough. It's very comfy for the bum, and my back has stopped hurting too.
I thought about getting the Mustang tripper, Corbin gunfighter and also reupholster my seat but... Then I saw this cushion (which has a foam layer and a gel layer) which is waaaay cheaper, and would probably do the same thing I'd not better. It looks nice on the bike too. It does raise me just under 1 inch but I really like that, as I am 5'11 it give me a bit more leg room. I also turned the rear shocks to the left to the "1" position which has made for a more softer, comfy ride (it takes literally 5 mins with your bare hands, grab the collar, lift and twist once)
Both the seat cushion and shock adjustment has made a MASSIVE improvement for me, I absolutely love riding this bike even more now and I am so much more confident, I have even bigger smiles. I strongly recommend trying this cushion out, it's the best thing I did for my 500.

You can look into getting adjustable levers - I did that for my wife who also has joint issues on our Rebel 300. We ended up with these from MZS. Pull is shorted and for some reason they are less stiff. The stiffness could be because I greased them as well.
In my opinion, anything to do with cutting the stock mufflers off decreases value. Once they're off though, you and subsequent owners are free to experiment with muffler styles without that worry.
You might consider some "megaphone" (similar to these) style mufflers with built in DB killers. They change the the exhaust sound to something with a bit more growl, and aren't too terribly loud. Shorty mufflers sound okay, but IMO sound worse at higher revs than stock.
Posted this on DDFM's Discord. I have an 1100. Going to try to replace it with one of these:

I've been looking for it as well. Couldn't find a genuine Honda one, ended up ordering one off of amazon that is just bracket + pegs.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083BVCJKL
I just ordered it so I have no idea if it's any good or not.
I did 4 hours and over 200 miles on my bike on the way home from the dealership, i recommend a seat cover really and the understanding that youre not on a goldwing. It does the job and you'll make it but pace yourself and dont be afraid to take a break.

This is the seat pad I got https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TJQBJYF?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
NOOOOO! The magis eraser is too abrasive your whole display will look foggy.
Plastic polish is the answer.

I'm not sure, but is there a protective film still on it? If not, you might try this:

It's a mild polish and works well on watch crystals, lenses, and so forth.
Toothpaste works to some extent on some scratches as well. It essentially polishes the sharp edges on the scratch so it's less visible. Effectiveness might vary based on the brand you use.
After a few hours it does get a bit uncomfortable for me, but I fixed this issue by strapping an air seat cushion on top of the stock seat which raised me about 2 inches. Now I can ride comfortably for hours. I highly recommend this as it's cheap and effective. I'm 5'11 for reference.
Cushion on Amazon, its the same size as the rebel seat so doesn't look out of place. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZSJD4XT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_DZVRHMWAMM35HRHGN718
So I have the S model with the diamond seat. At 5'11 I can confirm it is still a little uncomfortable for me and needed a thicker seat to raise me so my legs arent bent so much.
Instead of buying a seat, I bought this air seat cushion off Amazon. It raises me 2 inches and now the ride is perfect. No more numb bum. You can fill it with air or water for hotter days and easily straps over seat and is the exact same shape. I highly recommend this as it's cheap and effective.

Hey, I installed grip heaters on my 2020 Rebel 300 this winter. I saw that there are heated grips for sale, very expensive. Then I saw the heat tape kits, less expensive. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00U2TZCNY/
It required a bit of soldering to connect the heating elements to the switch and to put on a cigarette lighter plug. I needed that bc I installed the 3 amp accessory socket on the bars.
I installed them under the stock Rebel grips. On high, the grips will get toasty enough to have to turn off the heat. On low, the grips will stay warm longer than turning them off, but won't warm them from cold. So constant switch flipping.
I should mention that I suspect that they draw more power than they should, because I had a battery issue while using them and it went away when I stopped using them. Might be coincidence.
If I do this again, I'd buy the expensive complete grips with thermostat and save myself some hassle.
I hope that helps.
If you don't want to spend that much, do what I did and buy an air cushion which straps over the stock seat. Did the trick for me https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZSJD4XT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FDG17YCRXGH7KSYAPVSY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
this is the one I bought. It fits perfectly and is the same width as the stock seat so it doesn't look weird. Best purchase I ever made for the Rebel https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07ZSJD4XT/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_FDG17YCRXGH7KSYAPVSY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Not quite as simple as plug-n-play, but what I've done is get a power 12v socket like this (there are also sockets with USB ports). If you're working on a first or second gen Rebel (1986-2016), you'll need to splice into an existing circuit. Here's the wiring diagram for older Rebels. I'm not sure if the newer Rebels have spare wiring for additional electronics.

I bought this (but in black) fits great but you won't be able to add a passenger seat with it, or at least, not the OEM passenger seat. Watch out for the stock screws on the fender. They are both soft and tightly on there so they strip very easily!
I saw someone recommend the Airhawk in a previous thread. I'm going to try this to see if I like it or if I should just get a new seat.
I originally bought a center stand for my rebel but found it didn't work because the exhaust is below the frame.
I ended up purchasing these from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0077T23IO
They have worked really well. I changed both the tires and the chain and sprockets on my bike using those lifts and returned the 'center' type lift.
Try maybe one of these?

Or.
This is a knock off of the Diablo I think.
Seen a lot of rebel riders recommend this so I went ahead and got it. I was not disappointed. There’s also a couple YouTube videos of rebel riders reviewing this. All very positive.
I have a 2020 Honda Rebel, but wanted to reply as no one else has yet. I bought and use the Venom Sport Bike Universal stands that I linked below. I needed to remove the springs between the paddock bar and pad so I get get the most clearance to get it to fit though.
It works well enough.

I like my https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKT8FBZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It's basically just a clamp. Won't work if you have a thick battery case on your phone. It's not super fast or efficient to use but I trust it with my phone. Use locktite when mounting it though. Just in case.
I recently bought a 2018 Rebel 500 and bought this mount, RAM X-Grip Large Phone Mount with RAM Snap-Link Tough-Claw https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LTF0MKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_9DC91AVF9JYDFGXJYKM2 works great, I’m happy with it.
Yeah thanks the bag is handy and pretty cheap:

Just get this from Amazon and it has instructions on the packaging.

A rear tire lift would be ideal and would make it super easy. I don't have one so I was just moving the bike around the driveway to clean and lube all parts of the chain. Definitely takes longer but it works just the same.
Ok so Honda says to get it shipped in its $260AUD while this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07K6CK85Y/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_JyuGEbMQVRPT2
Is $56AUD. Do I need the expensive one or does the Amazon one work the same?
