Nice perspective.
Not OP but. I checked the Enfield tank price(just interested in Enfield) and it was 6k range. So doesn't justify coating. But what's your take on lamination? Transparent. Isn't that 1k?
Received a Tail Rack for the bike. Rugged design and quality. Most importantly, it's the only Tail Rack that integrated the rubber pads that are installed on the default tail rack for the Xpulse 200 4v. I'm not affiliated with the manufacturer in any way, just wanted to share the purchase with fellow interested Xpulse owners.

Currently, On-Track offers the best bike rental service in Bangalore, offering a wide variety of vehicles. The rental arrangement is also affordable and straightforward. The best part about this service is that they are prepared to assist right away if a two-wheeler has a problem and are pleasant to their customers.

For regular rides within city and occasional long rides, get the front fender extender and rear tyre hugger. The splashback is a lot on this bike. Gets muddy very soon if you ride during or after a rain.
Rear tyre hugger - I got the one in the link below cause it suits the look of the bike. You can browse through others on Amazon or elsewhere too.
I have an anti-recommendation from my experience.

It's a dual camera setup with a central screen. I got it "on sale" for Rs 8000. You will suspiciously similar looking cameras from a lot of different brands. They are all the same device.
The quality is so-so and you can't really make out number plates in most cases. It can show a clear depiction of events so there's that. Comes with almost all the Accessories you would need to install; zip-ties, Allen keys etc. are included
But my biggest annoyance with the device is that it does not write over existing recordings. It can only take SD cards up to 64GB big - good for about 3 hours of recording because it does no compression of the video stream.
You have to manually take out the SD card and wipe it with a PC before you can record again. I have taken to only wiping the Card before longer trips. Which means that the camera setup is useless in my day-to-day riding.
For people looking for ear protection while riding, 3M plugs are a cheap thing to have on hand
3M 1110 Corded Foam, Rs. 12-15/pair, Pack of 10
Very comfortable and excellent noise reduction. Cannot be washed but is somewhat reusable. They come in individually sealed packs you can keep stuffed in your bike somewhere. They will be clean in case you want to use them.
3M 1270 Corded Reusable, ~Rs 50/pair, Pack of 5
Excellent noise reduction but not as up to it as foam plugs. It can be reused and washed and cleaned. The cord is also stronger than the one on foam type plugs. They are not as comfortable for me personally.
I use a modular helmet. Easy to get on and off without removing the glasses. But I'd recommend this for intercity and low speed travel. I'm skeptical about the kind of safety it provides.
Download this app this has a resale value calculator & take a mechanic with you check the condition & negotiate
My honest opinion
They discontinued it for a reason
I would like to do it right, or the professional way as you mentioned.
Is there some identification I can use to get the right size fuse tap for my bike?
AMAZON india link to the camera I'm using
It's just a generic chinese camcorder, has 2 cameras storing into an SD card. Picture quality is bare minimum
For the adjustment ride, maybe it is better to avoid a ride to Bakkhali. It goes through Diamond Harbour road from Kolkata. This is an undivided road and is very congested, full of town traffic. Buses frequent this road and can be a little risky too. I personally am not very comfortable riding on this route. I am just sharing my experience and YMMV.
The traffic condition improves after Diamond Harbour. This area is less congested, buses are few. You will encounter rural traffic though. but the rest of the ride to Bakkhali is relatively hassle-free. There are a few speed guns after Diamond Harbour, keep an eye out for them.
One way to avoid congestion is to start early from Kolkata. Although, you will face it anyway on your way home.
About the mobile phone mount, I use this: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B083BYY27T, the no charger variant. I have left it at the mall parking and roadside parking. I'm yet to face any issue with it so far, fingers-crossed.
Just yesterday I bought axor apex hunter for 4.5k with 1k plus for Bluetooth speaker. So I can take calls and use Google maps navigation without taking helmet off.
I hope you realize that nothing is foolproof. But I am using GPS. It was fairly cheap. It lets you track your motorcycle. It's pretty neat.
3M 1270 Corded Reusable Ear Polyurethane Plugs, Pack of 1 https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0146DEPW0/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glc_i_ERH3RAZ07KJ2N0KKP0VR something like this maybe? You'll have to search to be honest, I'm not really sure what all is there in the Market
What about red helmet? Same design with a bit red color in place of orange/yellow? Example: https://www.amazon.in/Axor-Rage-Dull-Black-Helmet-M/dp/B097ZKY6XD/ref=sr\_1\_4?crid=2VP3P8KCAE2IR&keywords=axor+rage&qid=1639405443&sprefix=axor+rage%2Caps%2C452&sr=8-4
