You have defined an id for your div-element. Your CSS is defining styles for a class and not an id.
Either change
.menu-box to
#menu-box in your css or
change
<div id="menu-box"></div> to
<div class="menu-box"></div>
in your html.
Do not apply both of course. ;)

Okay, so you have MAC OS and you need to install MAMP server. It is not complicated. You are not learning a new language code, but only installing a server on your machine. You have help and docs here: https://www.mamp.info/en/documentation/
So, you have a MAMP server that uses MySql databases and works with PHP. Install your server, and then, in a designated folder install Joomla and you are good to go further, to install a template for your site development. Joomla install on already installed MAMP also has its docs here: https://www.ostraining.com/books/je/mac/
Report if you are stuck.
Never did it. But, consider this option: https://www.drupal.org/project/migrate

Best would be to take down site to a localhost and make it all there.
Rs Form has a plugin for Zoho and also allows for mapping of fields, which may allow you to connect it to most any CRM, here is CiviCRM as an example.
It supports payments via eWAY, iyzico, PagSeguro, PayFast and Paypal.
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9);
rgba(Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha) [you'll have to convert the hex value to rgb and the pick your alpha/transparency level]
Opacity effects the element at the block level, so everything inside that div/container will be effected. rgba() value can be used on pretty much any CSS property that accepts a hex color value. Browser support will vary though.

EDIT: Side note .body .container is a pretty broad scope if you are using bootstrap, that will potentially effect every container on the page. You may want to be more specific with your css element selectors.
Is the on-site VM a container like VirtualBox or Docker? If you don't like editing Apache's configuration files from a shell, Webmin gives a nice web-based configuration interface. I don't think there's an apt
package for it, you probably have to download the .deb
and install it with dpkg
and manually install the Perl dependencies. Instructons
If you're an office, a dedicated dev server that can also host a DNS server is nice. It doesn't need much power unless you have extensive build processes (compiling code, unit tests): mine is a $15 Rasberry Pi 3 with a $5 64Gb microSD card, and works great.
I'd be interested how it turns out.
It may be painlss, it may not be. I would recommend turning on error reporting to determine what plugins, modules or components are breaking the page.
You can't update from J2.5 to J3.x, that move is called a migration and is different than an upgrade. Here's a how-to guide. To fix your current issue, I would try to upgrade to 2.5.27 by downloading the update package and installing it via extensions manager.. If that doesn't work, then disable the Azrul System Plugin directly in the database (you may need assistance with that) and try the 2.5.27 upgrade again.
Before you start any of this, create a backup if you have not already. Akeeba backup is the industry standard.
Is PHP compiled with links to the proper MySQL libs? The only way for Joomla to know about your database engine (MySQL) is to ask PHP which checks its libraries.
Your best bet is to avoid compiling from source, if you don't have the experience, and try pre-compiled packages. Check out XAMPP for Linux, or your local distribution-centric binary repository.
Look, before any project I ask myself: which CMS I should use (90% of the times I choose Joomla, but not always). If I'm in any doubt, I use Softaculous. I go here, and look for the thing I need: https://www.softaculous.com/softaculous/apps
Once I had a site that matches your requests: I did it with Oxwall.
Here... I think I might have figured out your issue. Digital Ocean offers both NGINX and Apache Web servers. .htaccess is only supported by Apache. More on this here - https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/apache-vs-nginx-practical-considerations
You could look to the menu table to see some of the direct links, but many of the old urls will have been dynamically generated. Run a sitemap tool on the old system beforehand or there are also ways to scrape URLs that Google has in its SERPs.
You can just create a custom button from PayPal and if the end user doesn't have a PP account, they can pay directly by credit card, or eCheck.

Make sure you configure your DKIM, SPF, as well as your reverse dns and do not use a lot of spammy words in the text. If you have to use spammy words, place them in graphics. Use mxtoolbox.com and check your domain before and after campaign to see if you are getting listed and send out small volumes at a time. Hope it helps
Okay, maybe the JAMSS is obsolete now. After all, JAMSS is from 2011. But, there is some script that changes the names of those files. Okay, here is what you will do. Go to https://mxtoolbox.com/ and run all the tests - and see what is reported as wrong. Pay attention to your domain health. Run all possible tests there. Check your email setup and see the logs. Also, think how your ftp is setup. Check those accounts if you have any. Keep in mind that every hack has its purpose.
So many suggestions for you - but I really encourage you to go through 'Joomla Hardening' to cut off access to bots, and to the creation of non-approved accounts which just wait for exploits to be found. Here's a good initial primer: https://docs.joomla.org/Security_Checklist/Joomla!_Setup as well as https://www.keycdn.com/blog/joomla-security/
Go to here and put the files in a directory on a live remote server or on XAMP / MAMP (localhost).
You can run through the normal install procedure in order to generate a configuration.php file so you can then change the connection strings to that of the database you're trying to recover data from.
2.5.22 released. Two bugs fixed, contact forms not working and com_finder predefined date filters.
Great tips. I'll add:
Check your module positions. Different templates have different naming standards for module positions (which are layout areas on the page). With a new template, you may need to specify new position names for your modules.
You'd also be well-served by investing a little time in learning the Joomla CMS. Many great resources are available, including things like this: https://www.amazon.com/Joomla-3-10-Easy-Steps/dp/1480137596
There are also the official docs, and many online tutorials. The free version of the above book is available here: http://magazine.joomla.org/issues/issue-feb-2012/item/677-Joomla-2-5-Beginner-s-Guide Although just covering Joomla 2.5, the free version of the book provides lots of fundamental info relevant to the 3.x series of Joomla.
