If you are going to do Body Pump or Grit you will want a barbell weight set, one like this one on Amazon which is way cheaper than the Les Mills set. You'll probably also want a mat. Body Pump uses a bench to lay on but I don't have one, I just put my mat on the floor. Some other classes use a resistance band and of course cycling requires a bike, but it all depends on you. You can start with classes like Body Attack, Combat, Sh'Bam and Body Flow that require no equipment (maybe just a mat) and grow from there. Good luck!
Just want to say, you don't need a smartbar to do BodyPump. I bought these.
I received a recommendation for these Reebok HIIT shoes in this subreddit and I absolutely love them.
I do Grit, Combat, and Pump. My main issue was that my running shoes were not providing enough traction/grip. I was sliding around on the floor doing lunges, mountain climbers, etc. Once I got these shoes I realized that not only did the traction make a difference, the increased stability did too.
I have a narrow foot with a high arch and very high instep. I use an arch support insert in the shoes.
I use these. They come with rubber hooks which keep them from falling out. The part connecting the two headphones is just a lightweight wire (instead of a plastic "necklace" type thing which falls to the side in my experience).
Doing GRIT is not the same as jogging--you need more stability in your headphones when you're doing burpees, etc. The rubber ear hooks are essential for keeping them in.
PS Thanks for using headphones. It is super annoying when people blast music in an otherwise peaceful park.
Just a couple of low-cost ideas:
If the elevated lunge tracks focus on a single leg at a time you can do them off of a yoga block as well. It's cheaper than buying a stepper.
But as a beginner you will be fine without the elevation.
If the weights are a bit light for squats you could purchase a set of bands like this to add resistance (these cloth ones are awesome compared to the rubbery ones) :
I had dumbells already so I bought a Jay flex bar to for $139 and used reebok bench for my set up. The Jay flex bar isn't the fastest way to switch weights but it's a lot cheaper than buying a set. Just wanted to be honest with you.

I use weighted barslike this. Short, small so less likely to bang into my tv.

These have worked great for me. I believe you can change out weight faster with LM's own stuff but I don't mind pausing for like 20 seconds to do it. I believe a lot of us not in NZ use something like this.
Did exactly this- and have been able to keep up with all my Les Mills classes at home. Worth it. Also got these for Pump https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07MFR1VC3/ref=pe\_1086170\_134824320\_cm\_rv\_eml\_rv0\_dp
Ive been happy with this bar I bought on Amazon
Sporzon! Olympic Barbell Standard Weightlifting Barbell https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088CSYDP6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_cyoEWPjkOIZTu
It’s a 1” bar and weights 10lbs.
LM is getting better and better at showing options using dumbbells if you don't have a bar. And you don't have to buy their expensive set. I got mine from Dick's Sporting Goods years ago (was doing the old LM BeachBody DVDs). I think I got my step from Target. You don't need a step for BodyPump, but you will get more range in the chest track. Here's an affordable step on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Step-Studio-Platforms-28-75-14-25/dp/B017NTH3D2 (similar to what I have).
I bought these from Amazon for $40 and they've been great for all Les Mills classes. They don't budge no matter how much I jump around and there's a screen that tells me how much power is remaining every time I charge them. I can go for maybe 5 days without needing to charge at all (and I use them every day for an hour workout plus some music listening). Highly recommend.

I received two pairs of ear hooks, small and large. The smalls felt great but I lost them (nooooooooo) and had to start using the larges. Those did cause soreness, but I was able to take a sharp knife and just shave down the part that was putting too much pressure on.
If you're concerned about ear soreness, you might try something like this. My husband has a pair and he loves it. The band is thick and not too stretchy--it's made to stay on your head while sleeping so I think it would also work well for working out. You can remove all the electronic components and wash the band when needed.
If you want a little flexibility, you can wrap these adjustable ankle weights around your bars for those in between weights.
I use this standard bar with my plates from my adjustable dumbbells and it works perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/CAP-Barbell-Standard-Chrome-Bar/dp/B00497BM1G/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=cap+bar+standard&qid=1594528308&sr=8-4
