I'm using a Vivosun heat pad that goes well below 85F, it's for seedlings and plants. No timer, just a thermostat and a probe on a cable, but you could turn it off when you turn off your lights and see how that cycling works. I also use one in a cooler for keeping grain spawn at 80F 24/7 and it works great for that. We'll see how it works under the Mella (I put some cardboard underneath to get the mat closer to the metal bottom).
