Hi, I'm Diego an engineer working in the Windows Mixed Reality team.
Minecraft is available in Windows Mixed Reality! You can check here to view a selection of games and apps: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-mixed-reality
I have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0777SCQZX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I used it with a Oculus Rift with a 10' HDMI cable and 10' USB 3.0 cable.
However, with the Mixed Reality headsets, I think 30' is asking too much. USB 3.0 length limit is 3 meters (~10') and USB 2.0 has a length limit of 5 meters (~16'). Also, since the controllers are connected to Bluetooth through the PC, you would have to have a second USB 2.0 cable.
Typically you're not supposed to use one but I use one and have zero issues.

I bought both of these and it works flawlessly as far as I can tell. I run an EVGA GTX 1060 6GB.
Also, I own an Odyssey as well.
i bought a similar adapter and it works. its the one recommended by microsoft
Plugable Active DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 Adapter (Supports displays up to 4K / UHD / 3840x2160@60Hz) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00S0C7QO8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_di5C6ALdf3hSQ
Hi doppeling,
My name is Geoff, and I'm an engineer working on the Windows Mixed Reality team at Microsoft.
Here is a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter that we've tested: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-DisplayPort-Supporting-Technology/dp/B00PJ3LSIG/
(We're currently in process of updating our documentation online to include DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapters alongside our recommendations for MiniDP and USB-C HDMI adapters)
Thanks!
As far as usb 3 it sounds like you can extend it that, but hdmi it says no. I wonder if a hdmi signal booster would work (like this one https://www.amazon.com/Portta-Repeater-Extender-Cable-support/dp/B01HNSLYM4)Would be nice to walk around a very large area.
