I use an app called Picture Mushroom. You can take a picture of any fungi and it does a pretty decent job of identifying it and tells you where they're normally found and if they're edible. But that can be tricky sometimes because there's a lot of fungi that look similar.

The blooms on the florida coast are directly link to the release of water from the lake. This is a coastal bloom happens every year when they release water from the lake, this current s the worst bloom in decades. I live here by the beach, it's a huge issue.
The deadzone in the center of the Gulf is from agro run off around the Mississippi river basin. They're separate phenomena.
