Use the cfw generator without Changing anything to get a stock firmware. Then use ESdowng for Android to upload it to your scooter.
I would imagine keeping moisture and dirt/road grime out is important. I’d at least cover that up with some durable silicon moisture proof tape or something
~~edit: this looks pretty cool https://smile.amazon.com/Silicone-Repair-1-Waterproof-Emergency-Insulation/dp/B07Z1F1MT2/ref=sr_1_15?dchild=1&keywords=silicon+tape&qid=1595877693&sr=8-15~~
edit 2: the above tape doesnt actually have adhesive, try this instead https://smile.amazon.com/Gorilla-Waterproof-Patch-Seal-White/dp/B08126M2R4/ref=pd_bxgy_img_3/135-0566472-4955518?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B08126M2R4&pd_rd_r=a9c35412-26aa-4b19-ba3a-ffa532b1670d&pd_rd_w=YBEpH&pd_rd_wg=lz27v&pf_rd_...
Didn’t even get that far. Nightmare website fiascos. I went to to buy something on their website and it was a nightmare of scammy stuff like charging a different price than stated, having no way to review or cancel the order, and providing no receipt after the transaction - I have to talk to my bank, now.
The company should be shut down. Just look at this crap:
This is a phone holder made by Ninebot and I use it myself and haven't had any problems with it:
I actually fell on my scooter and the phone stayed in the phone holder, so it did the job pretty well.
It is a Bluetooth protocol, a quick Google search will for sure reveal plenty breakdowns.
The ninebot es makes 2 ble characteristics available for a serial connection to made out of, writing to one to send bytes to the scooter and subscribing to the other to receive bytes.
A protocol exists that specifies the structure of and what bytes to send in order to carry out operations. (There are plenty) But first let's see if this functionality is working on your scooter.
This is my favorite app for connection over BLE serial (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.kai_morich.serial_bluetooth_terminal)
Long press one of the buttons to configure a macro, select HEX as the edit mode and configure the following value:
5A A5 02 3E 20 02 72 00 02 29 FF
This message is a write command to the speed limit register, setting a value of 512 (hex 0200) corresponding to 51.2km/h.
The scooter can't reach this speed by itself and won't burn it self trying or anything, it will simply keep speeding up until the wheel is spinning so fast that the generated voltage reaches the same level as your battery's and no more current will flow to the motor. That is the real top speed of the drive and it will decrease slowly as your packs discharge. Fully charged it's about 40-42km/h.
When this voltage tipping happens you will feel driver pause for one or two seconds or until you're going slow enough that there is enough of a voltage difference to keep going.
Now try to press the configured button after connecting to the scooter in the left menu and see if the thing sends anything back. A response should be displayed in green.
If you don't care about the stock footmat I would actually recommend going for a skateboard type mat. I bought this for my Max as it was 6in wide and the exact length needed. Just used a can to trace out a half circle on each side and I was set for $7 and much more grip. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003D7VMI6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_POVjFbZFNKGS1
oops dont order that tape. its non-adhesive (fuses to itself instead)
I bought the Ninebot phone holder and love it. Looks good, matches, holds my phone very securely it seems, although I would say I don't use my phone much when on the scooter, it makes an ok display for battery power, or to use as a gps, but the screen is always turning off and locking the phone, so kind of a pain.
I would not recommend getting solid tires if you live somewhere with brick roads or lots of cracks (and don't have a front kit. Otherwise it's just an awful ride. ) I would not recommend this if your tires are still repairable as well. It's immensely difficult.

These are the one I used. https://youtu.be/k5T4eJyQizE this tutorial was the most realistic. You gotta boil the tires for about 10 mins. But. It's very nice knowing I won't ever have to repair the tires again and living in a city, lots of debris I can ride over without worry.
I just got this and its worth every penny. I didn't want one that had the bands on the corners. I have an iPhone 12 pro max and on a rough gravel road, it didn't move at all.

I'm pretty dismayed that there's a product out there that has obvious parts needs that can't be met by the manufacturer, I mean what if they sold a car and you couldn't get replacement tires? Crazy. Having said that I had a flat recently, and used the spare they gave me when I bought it (if that isn't an admission that there's a problem I don't know what is). I just replace the tube not the tire. So I figured I'd order some spares and found these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074N4WHXL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
They seem to be far more heavy duty than the originals and other than the angled stem seem like they will fit without an issue. It looks to me like the angled stem will work fine based on my experience changing the flat.
If you don't care for an actual wheel and the speedometer, there are other options on amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/EMSWD-Handlebar-Extension-miniLITE-Segway-Ninebot/dp/B07T2N4111/
They don't say they if work with the S-MAX, but considering it's the same attachment for the regular S (only the S-PLUS has a different kind), they should work.
I just had a flat. Ordered new tubes. https://www.amazon.se/dp/B097TR1H2V?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Boiled the tire with the rim and took the tube off and then changed to the new tube.. boiled it again and then squeeze it over the rim with my hands. Easy! Do not use tools since i punctured the first tube with tools.
what I use when you shove the stem up against a bike rack there's almost zero clearance, it's perfect. Plus you can wrap the cable through the back tire if you so desire.
I went through multiple shoulder straps snapping under the weight of my ES4 until the latest version of this one from Amazon has finally worked well. Epessa Kick Scooter Shoulder... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T53PZF2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I solved mine with a silicon wire holder. I had bought these for their intended purpose, but realized one of the larger ones slipped easily in between the brake and the metal piece it bumps up against. It works great and everything is still usable.

I don't think it comes with any firmware on it
Could be that the firmware update got corrupted and modes aren't registering correctly. Best thing is if there's warranty, to send it back and let them fix it.
If not, you could try the scooterhacking app or Xiaoflasher which you can use to connect to the E45E and downgrade/ re-flash the firmware. If that doesn't fix it, you could override the speed by selecting another region/model in the suggested apps.
If that fails, it's not software related and you should re-check all the cabling/ hardware side of things and see if nothing's loose.
Found these on Amazon. They are pretty close to the original. It was the same size for front and back, even though I thought the back was supposed to be smaller.
A couple of years ago I got one of these when I had to carry my es4 indoors.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KG8TZF9
Basically it’s just a strap with loop clips at either end so I would fold my es2 and clip the rear wheel to top of handlebars and by the front shock absorber. I’d then wear the scooter essentially like a shoulder bag diagonally across my back.
Overall it was fine but nowhere near perfect. More permanent clip anchor points as opposed to looping a hook or some kind of appropriately sized bag to limit wetness when dripping would have been nice.
If this suddenly happened without any software update. It's most likely due to an hardware issue, could be either a loose connections or something wrong with the ESC/BMS. If so, I'd check the wirings and see if nothing is wrong. Are you sure you're in the red sport mode? As the white sport mode is limited to only 20km/h and red is 25km/h.
You could also mod your firmware and not break your warranty, by switching to your initial serial number again in case something happens. Scooterhacking or Xiaoflasher can easily be used to change speed settings, etc. to see if it's a software limit or a hardware fault.
Last resort is to contact them for warranty of course.
Is another option. I would do both first the jb weld plastic then the cast. This stuff is super strong.
Use the other app. You want the international version of the app.
Fully uninstall the version you have (the China version), and install This one
If you mean the "no S sign", then download the V4 version (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.ninebot.ninebot) and then go into settings -> speed and change the speed. That's should work.
Here are some screenshots
You are right.
Also, the G30D comes with the 3 regions* already installed.
No need to flash firmware if you want to change to a different region. You can change between them with third-party apps.
Stuff that changes with regions are, how lights behave, brake light, speeds, cruise control,
There is a setting in the Ninebot app. (the international version at least *1) to turn back ligt off. If it's a G30D, I know yours is not, one should change region *2 first to world or US.
Is there a particular reason you don't like it to be on?
*1 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninebot.segway
*2 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eScooter.m365Info
A quick tap on the button turns frontligt on/off. Unless it's G30D.
If G30D, then you can change the region to World or US in this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eScooter.m365Info
Then you can turn lights off.
Only ever done this with an ES2, but...

Not Bad! I wanted indicator Lights myself but i needed a Front and rear solution. You might want give These ones a try If you are interessted in a Rest and Front solution aswell.example Amazon Link
Bit late to the party, but maybe it's still helpful. I bought a solid handcuff lock (this one here: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B000XRQ8UG/) which is can put around the angular part of the frame (whatever that's called). It's a bit heavy but it works perfeclty so far.
