I was looking for this post as soon as I saw the suitcase. My 1st player was an LP-60 and a direct drive 120. Can't beat the price, vinyl collections are anything but cheap. There is not way that I'd play my pic disc Decline or White Longest line on a Crosby or whatever.
For OP: Here's a solid turntable that is very reasonable (AT LP-60): https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60XBT-WH-Belt-Drive-Hi-Fidelity-Anti-Resonance/dp/B07N3RPPB8/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=record+player+lp60&qid=1608933262&sr=8-16
Ahh, they have it on Amazon.co.uk https://www.amazon.co.uk/YouRe-Welcome-VINYL-Cokie-Clown/dp/B07P95FCHV/ref=tmm_vnl_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1556293267&sr=8-1
for £20 preorder with free shipping. That's about $26
