I would treat it with a hot compress each night and that should help it go down in size. I use this every time I get put of the shower and it has helped prevent lots of ingrown:
Not an answer to the question that you asked, but:
Cover your mattress with a waterproof plastic cover. Under the mattress pad and sheets, you won't even be aware that it's there.
You can buy, from Amazon, "chucks": large disposable large squares of absorbent material that they use in hospitals all the time. Better than a towel, and you don't have to wash it - just chuck it!
You shouldn't be ruining your mattress or sheets.
I hope you get the healthcare part sorted out. I'm sorry this is happening to you.
This was me a few years ago. I’d get treated for BV and would get it again right after treatment specially if I had sex.
This was the ONLY thing that worked. I used it for a full week and the odor was gone. Then repeated if I noticed it coming back. Haven’t needed it in over a year now. Hope it works for you!
Here's a great app for learning medical Spanish. It has all the medical terms as well as a Dialogue section that covers a full H&P. And it's free:

I highly recommend this probiotic. I used to get BV every month following my cycle and this has cleared it up and prevented BV for years. The last time I had BV was when I ran out and forgot to reorder, so a month with no probiotics and BAM, BV.
Probably but not 100%. There's definitely a risk for pregnancy
Did you have PIV sex this month without a condom or other form of BC?
I keep these cheap pregnancy tests on hand to test regularly. They're pink dye (superior to blue dye) and just as accurate as other tests, just have to pee in a cup instead of on the stick like the more expensive ones
Have you tried oral and/or vaginal pro-biotics? Lactobacilli is the most important for the vag. This: 1. Stops invading bacteria from sticking to vag walls 2. Produces naturally occurring antibiotics to kill other bacteria 3. Outnumbers other potential bacteria … My recommendations: Canesflor Vaginal Probiotics | Helps Prevent Recurrence of Vaginal Infections such as Thrush | Clinically Proven - Pack of 10 Vaginal Capsules https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01APPUIJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RMNCJ987QEWTVG1ZVPRG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 and Deal of the day: Wellgard Vitaflora for Women - Scientifically Proven Bio Cultures for Women’s Intimate Flora, Made in UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07YM33HZX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dl_ZV5CASXAWW7QESEE2HVQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 wellgard vitaflora has shining reviews and a really good CFU count. Just a couple things to keep things at bay in between clinical treatments
It’s a vaginal suppository. I used it every night for a few days and the smell stopped. Then used one every once in a while when my discharge was off. The last time I used it was like a year ago now. It really helped. I had chronic BV for a long time. I use one called Boric Life and I got it on Amazon.
Try a probiotic suppository, and maybe oral probiotic as well - maybe your good bacteria need a boost. Look for those with L. crispatus - that strain is extra good for vaginas. I've used this one in the past with success: Good Clean Love BiopHresh Vaginal... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JMC1K35?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Use this Amazon short read. It was hilarious but very informational. It helped me get the condom out really fast. Plan B will work if you’re pregnant as result. Don’t stress yourself.
There's a lot online if you just Google "cloth washable menstrual pads". If you're looking to not break the bank and get a good deal, I do know they're also on amazon.

Try taking probiotic. It balances out the bacteria in your vagina and I never got another yeast infection again after taking 2 30-day regiments. I personally took this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079G4N8K2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_pEBHFb0GXWSJQ
My husband and I are trying to conceive. I HIGHLY recommend this book. It’s extremely informative. All the info can be overwhelming, but first just focus on the basics: Learn your cycle. Start keeping track of when you ovulate. Buy ovulation test strips. Learn the signs of ovulation. I don’t take my temperature, but some woman swear by it.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I am going through the same process, going of hormones or not, and I am currently reading this book that is really helping to make up my mind. It's called 'Your brain on birth control', and it's about all the science surrounding taking the pill. I am also scared that I will be a different person after coming off the pill.
