This pleco looks like a L270 False zebra pleco. I have one. I keep my tanks at 78-79F. Pretty hardy fish. Feed em primarily veggies although mine does eat some protien from the pleco wafer i use. Never denies cucumber. Also its a somewhat pricey fish. Mine was nearly 100$ usd when it was barely 2inches.
Edit:
As for sexing, im really not sure. The book i use for plecos says there is no discernible characteristics between the males and females.

If you have one, 2" PVC with a cap are quick and easy. Also Terracotta watering stakes are super lazy https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I21RDAS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you have more than one L134. 0 caves is the best bet until you make sure you only have one male.
The July-Aug "murder festival" is not nice if you have a colony and do not know what is coming.
This is great to remove the old zucchini or cucumber
I use something like these...
I boil 1 cup of water and mix in 1/3 cup of repashy to almost fill both trays. I then chill them in the fridge, and then freeze what isn't going to be eaten in 2 weeks time.
We feed our common using these clips bought from Amazon. Zucchini, squash, mushrooms. Proteins shrimp, tilapia, beef heart, mussels.

I would get frozen blood worms too. Probably 2-3 wafers and a block of blood worms per pleco. They'll be much happier then. They're some good looking fish minus the hunger though. Plecos are awesome. Another thing you can try is these: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B002CTH5NW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_SGXVCNVEEF5YM363GYVB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 These pellets still sink but why have squid and shrimp in them for protein. Plecos, cichlids and gouramis love them. I use about 3 a day for my pleco alongside his wafer.

These are great. They seem pricey but that's like a year supply. They only need one every other day if they're smaller than 6in.
As for plecos. Most are very hardy. I recommend that book for anyone who is getting into plecos and wants to know some more about them from an academic standpoint. Id just keep doing water changes probably 30% ish every day or every other. Maybe a little aquarium salt. And make sure there is food and a place to hide. At this point id keep zero light on the tank or dim the lights. Present food in the evenings when its darkest. After a while they will begin to eat during the day. If you have any objects with algae on them from another tank you could place it in there too. But dont rely on tank algae for food. Cucumber, green beans, zucchini, squash. All of these are perfect pleco foods. “Extreme” brand pleco wafers are my go to for all my plecos when not using veggies for alternating.

You can buy these cheaper from Aquarium Coop btw.
I use the watering spikes and they’ve been working perfectly so far for my plecos. Pretty cheap too.
