It has explicit language but it's a lot of buildup. On Amazon.
she could try the Lost Kings series by Autumn Jones Lake. First book, Slow Burn, is free so no harm if it turns out not to be her thing

If you have Kindle Unlimited, I'd really love your support in checking out this book. It is titled "Always You." My wife started it in a creative writing class in college about 20 years ago, and she just finished it recently. I'll admit I don't read much, but I actually got sucked into this story! It is REALLY hard to put it down once you get going. If you read it and love it, please write a review on Amazon.
Thanks so much!!!
You may enjoy The Mighty Finn by Holly Bargo. The relationship takes a while to develop, so there's no "instalust" or falling into bed within five minutes of meeting one another. The heroine is in her mid 30s, the hero in his late 30s, best friend is Hispanic, and there's a dog. A Great Dane.
I love Great Danes.

Texan’s Wager by Jodi Thomas
the first one I read was the third book in a series. The Understatement of the Year I really liked the first 2 books so I thought I'd give it a try. Now I am hooked on them and love the steam, but if you want to ease in to that, this is a great first book! You don't need to read the first two in the series either, but they're good. It's set in college about hockey players.
Update: the ebook will be available June 21, and is available for pre-order via Kindle.
I'm looking for a handful of people to send the ebook to for free in exchange for a review. If you are a reader and want to take advantage of free stuff, let me know!
