I have HS. It manifests on my groin, mostly, with the occasional underarm flare.
Anecdotally, I believe I have an issue with both fermented foods and gluten, as those foods seem to cause flares. (Gluten causes other issues, too. I'll spare you.) If I follow a strict gluten free diet and lay off the wine, I can keep it somewhat in control.
There is a book entitled The Hidden Plague, by Tara Grant that has seemingly helped a lot of people. The diet that Ms. Grant suggests is not right for me personally, but I do agree with her that diet just might be the answer.
Should you have any questions, my inbox is open! Best of luck to you!
I think you should go to the doctor first. But I use Bio oil in such cases (I leave the link) I think it is a very useful product for such situations, but you should consult your doctor before using it.bio oil
use something like this:
reduces the chance of scaring and the scars. But i dont think you get scars.
Nigrifix cream is a customized formulation to treat hyperpigmentation associated with acanthosis nigricans. It helps to clear the darkness and hardness related to certain body parts like the neck, nape, thighs, elbows, knees, knuckles, and back.
Cleanse the skin and dry. Apply a sufficient amount of Nigrifix cream only on the affected skin area and massage gently till it gets absorbed. For best results apply daily.
If somebody's skin is super dry then it's probably because you are dehydrated. So always make water your best friend. And drink lots and lots of water. I think this will improve your skin quality to a great extent. Then talking about lotions, use Fixderma Moisturizing lotiontwice or thrice a day.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment - 1.75 oz tube by Aquaphor https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000YMFXX8/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_a_42AKGJ8RPWK4P17NN5SS
I tried to find it for you on UK Amazon it seems the exports aren’t the best for you guys with aquaphor. But see if you can buy this. If not just go to your local pharmacy and ask them about what their strongest lotion or healing ointment is!
Seed warts. Use these and follow directions. The store’s own brand/generic brand don’t stay stuck but these do.
Ow. I suggest saline wash then Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment then bandage. Lots if ointment so it does not stick. Buy extra bandaids and clean with saline spray several times a day and reapply the ointment and bandaids. Tighter socks will help the bandaids stay on. There is a nice spray that is made with lanolin and lidocaine. I know two brands, lanacane and dermoplast I think. Dermoplast is better. It is for burns but it used for pain and healing overall. It’s also given to women who have just had birth.
This blue one is it. The red one is not the same. The red one is for cleaning.

These work really well. (The store’s own brand don’t stay stuck.)
I've been looking at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006U7BL6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_CQEW4WWER62MBFTH0J73?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 , would it be safe to pass all over my body, like the groin area and such
Give the sugar scrub a go for the toes, even if its from improper cleaning. You dont necessarily need to buy an exfoliant for this either (mix honey and some sugar) and moisturize.
About deodarant, it could cause the armpits to be darkened if the deodarant was not washed off over a period of time (because it probably had baking soda and other irritating ingredients). Armpits can also get darker because of shaving/plucking or just hormones. In fact in your case it could also be hormones because you said you were going through a difficult time. So maybe also consider exfoliating the armpits gently too (that area is sensitive). And switch a non aluminium deodarant.
If all doesnt work, perhaps try Sea Cucumber. There are some medical research around treating pigmented skin. I found one on amazon and linked.
If non of the above works, i would consult a doctor. There could be underlying medical conditions to why people get darkened armpits and knuckles.
Hope this helped! Goodluck!!

Smh people posting don’t know what the hell they are talking about. This is not athletes foot. It’s legit dry cracked skin. I’m so glad I saw this because I have the answer for you. My friend and I have heels that look snide worse... cracked..painful.. I’ve tried pumice stones etc. Nothing really helps enough to get rid of it. She bought these on amazon, after reading the raving reviews of people with the same issue... decided to try it. Saw a difference overnight. She tried it last week for the first time and her feet look so different. I’d post them but she would be mortified if she found out lol. The way the socks work are they have silicone heels so it holds the skin cream against your heel, unlike just wearing only socks, where the cream is absorbed by the sock and doesn’t do much. Here is the link. They are like 11$. They also have ones for your whole foot she is going to try. Use it with O’Keeffes foot cream also sold online as well. This is literally the only thing that has helped her. I would also purchase a pumice stone to remove the dead skin that peels
No prob. It's definitely worth it, if you are patient and not afraid of a little bit of pain (which you actually get used to after a while).
I have something along the lines of this: https://www.amazon.com/Stigma-Complete-Tattoo-Rotary-Machine/dp/B07GN4LN1Z/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=tattoo+machine&qid=1610996741&sr=8-3

I got mine on Amazon lightening deal - £40ish It's a Braun Series 3 ProSkin 3040, apparently. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J05R9DW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_gnJtCbT2M484P
Personally, I'd avoid the round headed ones - go for a more traditional straight foil.
Those are just large pores that are clogged (very common on nose area). Use nasal strip pore cleansers and it will correct the problem in one session (if you use it correctly). These ones work: https://www.amazon.com/Bior%C3%A9-Blackhead-Unclogging-Cleansing-Non-Comedogenic/dp/B000H8UN3Y/ref=psdc_7792936011_t3_B0009EILKS
Very safe and easy to use, will correct the problem totally! Note: most drugstores sell it also.
I know they use the word blackhead, but they are just using that generically.
Chemical exfoliant + salicylic acid (aka beta hydroxy acid) treatment my dude. I use the mizon apple smoothie peeling gel and the paula's choice 2% BHA liquid. Any acne or texture on my skin will start to flatten within the next few days or even the next morning.
Also use a sunscreen to avoid potential scarring. I personally use mineral sunscreens 'cause chemical ones break me out.
This stuff helps my pup of something similar... http://www.amazon.com/PhytoVet-4-Shampoo-16-oz/dp/B008LYBU56
Also, my vet cleared up a pretty bad case of foliculitis with a combo of cephalax and prednisone (both require prescription)
