I used the Barrow DDC pump bracket:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7NOWBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works and fits quite well.
Looks amazing man. Loving the white on black. Honestly, I love my ftw3's looks too but it's a loud boy.
If you don't like the antenna I replaced mine with these
I'm currently exploring this idea for my CL530 by using 3-pin GX16 aviation connectors that are rated for 250V @ 15A. I'll let you know how that works out.
I think I may just keep the case, cause having to go 2 or 3 weeks without a computer isn't really appealing. Plus shipping it back is a lot of work. I don't have a car, so going back and forth maybe much. As opposed to dropping off my return at kohl's and then waiting 3 days for a new gpu. How does this look? https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07W95D5V3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RYArFb2CV6RAS
Hey man, i ordered This riser from Amazon and it works very well. You need to do some modification to the mounting / Pcie clip but it works very well. It's a bit expensive though. If you need any help, let me know. The standard length for Sligers riser is 25cm, i ordered a 30cm version because it felt a little too tight for my comfort.
This is my recent build. https://imgur.com/gallery/knoHwdi
Used this mount with a little modification (3090 ekwb active backplate is too thick) EZDIY-FAB Vertical PCIe 4.0 GPU... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WR8GWTF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This is essentially the same one that sligers sells with their cases. Just check your length, I’d go slightly longer if you have to. Otherwise density.sk is a sliger retailer and would have them.
> The limiting factor with the 4090fe seems will be height especially with the power connector sticking straight up. I think you’ll have to dremel a hole to make room for the power connector and bend it safely.
There's hope for a low-profile 90-degree connector in the near future. I used these for a similar problem with a 3080 and my case. They may not be available right away (especially since the connector itself is so new) but I think it's likely there will be options. Although I have no idea why they didn't keep the angled design from last time, or put it almost literally anywhere else.
I had two SSDs in my S610 for a while and they ended up living outside the cage, not secured by anything except the power cables holding them in place. I also had super thin SATA cables to make cable management a little easier.
I did end up removing the drives and felt good about not having them inside the PSU cage. I consciously tried to move away from them, as SATA is a vestigial technology that limits the speed of SSDs.
On the USB 3.0 header, there are these low profile adapter cables you might try: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08L4GP9LJ/
That was originally just a stiffening flange, but I turned it into a cable hold-down / tie-down bracket as well. Perfectly ok to remove it.
These thermaltake ones as I had them spare, but I think anything with a LED ring would look cool

The vertical distance from the top side of your motherboard PCB to the bottom face of the PSU should be 19.5mm / .765"
It's plenty of clearance for Audio, USB 2.0, etc. but is not enough for USB 3.0 or USB C.
For USB 3.0 headers I'd recommend these:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0925QZ6B3/
For USB Type E 3.2 headers I'd recommend these:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0995QYPVL
Horizontally the ATX motherboard will protrude under the PSU by 1.8"
Yes - designed to allow just about any filter material to mount between the front panel, and the subfront. I'd recommend some cut-to-size open cell reticulated polyurethane, or carbon pre-filter material.
Not on this version. I have a dedicated reverse layout version in the works for 2023.
The case was really designed for M.2 and M.2 PCIe cards, but there is a spot to mount 1x 2.5" SSD next to the SFX PSU. (You can see two counter sunk holes on the rear.)
Could you use bracket like this since have lots of PCIe slot?
https://smile.amazon.com/Sedna-PCIE-Dual-mounting-Bracket/dp/B087D6FFDD
I had to get a little destructively creative with my SV590, nothing remotely serious but my case will never properly hang a 3 slot graphics card. Not a huge loss.
You're going down the right path though. How can things be rerouted or moved around a little without destroying the integrity of the spine?
I would surmise that with the SM550 you were going to need to order custom length cables any way. Even the shorter lengths the SF750 comes with would be too long. You'd have to coil them up and zip tie them or something and then they're taking up a bunch of space and affecting more airflow.
If you like you can put a fan grill on the lower fans to keep the cables from getting into the fan blades.
Something like this that won't block airflow:
https://www.amazon.com/OKGEAR-120mm-Fan-Grill-Guard/dp/B005VRK5YS
Also, this is just me spitballing. Sure it would be helpful to have more fans pulling more heat out of the case but I think you'll be okay without it.
What cpu/cooler are you using?
Oh, I was also remember thinking it was m1 demensions as well, I guess its a bit smaller though.
Will it have ram clearance if you use a 120mm fan instead ? I don't see silver sould 115, but I see a 110 on amazon.
Not a backpack, but have a look at sewing machine cases, example
Backpacks that will fit the thickness of the 620 are probably going to be on the larger side of things, which is fine but it may be hard to cram into the bin with the case in it b/c the case is ridged....
So I was worried about the case looking strange and too tall, but have been happy so far with the overall look.
In stock configuration there is roughly 15mm of clearance between the bottom of the case and the desk. Using these feet it leaves 15mm of clearance between the bottom of the external case fans and the desk so essentially the same access to air.
I may create some kind of siding to cover the side of the fans in the future, but haven't gotten that far into it yet.
I'll be sure to link you my next update in the future.
I just installed this one in mine after someone pointed it out in a thread here and it comes in a few colors. Fit perfectly in the case (though it is slightly longer I think than the stock).

Other suggestion:
Possibility to removed the motherboard and replace it with a couple drives, still keeping room for a SFF-8088 to SFF-8087 PCIe panel, like so.
This way, someone with an existing NAS can use your case as a jbod extension. Or someone can buy two cases
Im using it right now with one of these, which is listed at 126mm. No problem. obv you can only mount a fan on the front half.
It is an Icydock PCIe Hotswap.
I've had some weird issues on it with Windows 10, but on Windows 11 all my issues went away. I got the Samsung 870 EVO 4TB in each bay and a 600gb mechanical for cold storage.
How much room is there between the motherboard and the PSU?
My chosen motherboard has one flaw: side-firing SATA ports just below the ATX 20+4 connector. I know a normal SATA cable has no chance, even your standard 90 degree SATA cables appear to have too thick of a connector to make it “out” of that tight space.
I’m hoping to use one of these low-profile SATA cables from Silverstone which a comment says extend 7mm beyond the port.
In your opinion, would that cable fit?
I have that exact GPU and a Cerberus X... the card fits fine but the clearance is tight enough you'll need some low-profile adapters to connect the GPU power and still get the side back on.
I used these. You need three. They come in two-packs, but not how you think-- each pack contains one that bends "up" and one that bends "down," so you need three of the two packs.
Might also be possible to find custom cables from somewhere with a similar connector design... but I haven't jumped into the custom-cable rabbit hole enough to know what's available. I'm just using the cables that came with my PSU and those little adapters.

This is what I found and bought without getting something custom or making my own. It’s still a bit small in both directions. Just covers the perforations on the top and bottom, and misses a full inch (or 5 of the vertical slits) in width plus what the magnet covers. I just cover the area where my fans are located and it seems to be doing ok for keeping dust out.
Might be a little off topic but I have a question about the PCIe 4.0 riser cables for the SM580.
I recently got an Asus ROG Strix B550-I motherbaord (Amazon link here: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ROG-B550-I-Motherboard-Addressable/dp/B089D34SZT/) and it only has PCIe 4.0 for the GPU connection.
Will choosing the "Link-Up v7 PCIe 4.0 16x" Riser Cable on the SM580 product page make it compatible with my motherboard and my GPU (EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra)?
Thanks!
I just got some speaker feet from amazon and just tapped the holes (8-32, don’t recall sorryy) so they screw in.

Yeah its not required to use the commander pro, I just wanted individual fan control. Noctua is releasing their 8 fan hub later in the year so maybe use splitters until they release theirs, the iCue software for the commander pro is absolute shit.
No other suggestions, you shouldn't have any part issues where you need to do anything special. If you want a M.2 ssd on the rear side of the motherboard you can buy this 4mm heatsink, it fits perfectly with the side panel as seen here https://imgur.com/fzr5IGM

Will the 18cm one fit? I live in austria so would it be possible to get the bracket from density?
Yeah like redditboi said, the fixed one says nothing about being "semi-fanless" on the box. I know if you order it from Amazon coolermaster confirmed that those will only be the new version. That's where I got mine. You'll have to wait until it's back in stock though, I got lucky. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08LP6WS35/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_BWPH78E0A3BCDHCFAEWK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Unfortunately, no. The Cooler Master one I used takes up 7 pcie slots and the Cerberus only has 5.
Looked through your posts and it looks like you're trying for a similar setup in the Cerberus? Unfortunately, every vertical mounting bracket I can think of needs at least 4 pcie slots.
You could try to jerry-rig a bracket for this EZDIY-FAB bracket, where the vertical mount would rest on top of the radiator or fans and you could make a custom bracket re place the one that comes with it and mount 3 of the pcie slots mounting points. Only concern would be that the GPU would need to be not very long, and if vertically mounted might hit your power supply.

Make sure you snag the 250mm one. Also, I had to break the release lever to get it to fit in the Sliger mount.

I don't think it looks clunky at all, but that's subjective. I put these on the bottom in lieu of the vertical baseplate and they're perfect for keeping it stable and keeping the GPU I/O plate from scraping the desk. I actually sold a 520 in favor of a 530 cos I realized I could do this and I found the CPU cooling inadequate on the 520.
I have 3 older 5400 RPM 4TB drives and one newer 7200 RPM 8TB drive. The 4TBs run cooler and idle at 30-33 C. The 8TB runs hotter idles up to 35-38 C.
When encoding videos the CPU heats up to 75 C or so and heats up the HDDs to 45 C max, usually low 40s though. The case fan was a requirement for me though, without it the HDDs were just big heat sponges and were getting too hot for my liking.
Good luck! It's a challenge, but fun when you get a tiny box with a lot of storage.
Also, I found some slim SATA cables a lifesaver for cable mgmt. The standard ones were too stiff and long. I used these, and just picked straight, 90 degree, or right-angle connectors as needed.
Actually have been looking into this some more, and you could offset the case fans closer to the card using spacers like these: 4-Pack - Premium Quality Multi-Purpose Rubber Spacer 1" OD x 3/8" ID x 1" Thick (AVS-X19-13) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DVZFFML/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_R4V.FbW2SK91H
You’d just need some longer fan screws. How wide is the gap between the fans and the heat sink? I’m going to be in the same boat as you when I order an s610.
You should be able to - so far every build I have seen with a D15S has had no troubles fitting a ton of fans. I personally only have fit tested the D15, not the S variant. S variant should be more flexible on mounting though due to it's offset design.
Here's the slim fans I used:

I don't know the answer for bifurcation but would a USB-C to 10Gbe adapter work in your situation?
My friend has the following cable with his 3080 and it works flawlessly... https://www.amazon.com/LINKUP-RX5700XT-Vertical-Straight-Compatible/dp/B08JPJV4RC
Granted, it's 60 bucks, but it does work.
Although it does give a temperature warning and not for use in mini ITX applications. He's using a Sliger SM560, he just tossed the riser cable that came with the case. he says he has the airflow to keep the cable cool though.
Definitely sounds like the motherboard's SATA port placement was the factor here - my CL530 uses these 30cm round cables and I have no issues reaching from the front of the case to the SATA ports on my Asus ROG Strix B550-I.
These are what I got, they have adhesive that attaches them to the case. Added some felt pads to the bottom to keep the glass shelf safe.
It's certainly on the pricier side, but the Cryorig C7 G is rated for up to 125 TDP CPUs.
I'll make sure we get the IS-60 removed from our compatibility list. Unfortunate that they increased the size of it.
I use this backpack to carry my SM550 to Lans. Carries everything I need for a LAN besides my Monitor. Unless I get a portable monitor, then it would carry everything!
EDIT: Forgot the link lol https://www.amazon.com/HP-Transceptor-Roll-Top-Gaming-Backpack/dp/B07D9C2VWZ
Yes to 2x 120mm x 15mm fans at top, but only when handle is not used. Handle limits to 1x 120mm fan.
It's very possible to do that color, it's gold chromate conversion.
Worth nothing that the big problem with chromate is it shows every defect in the aluminum. It's basically anodizing, but way less durable so can easily scratch/marr/etc. However it's a very nice gold color!
I've actually though about doing a gold zinc limited edition case, not as pretty as gold chromate but very durable.
Would look like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Milodon-30900-Steel-Plated-Street/dp/B000COU5XQ
You might need to really grip it. You could try using a rubber band and the wrench to get better purchase on it. Do you need the gpu out atm? Edit is the washer type thing part of the pigtail bracket plate or the chassis it self? My 550 is in storage atm so I can't remeber it uses a thing like this welded right https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077GQLQZ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YIUuFb5CXH14N the part sticking out spinning in the gif is collar and not the screw it self right, and your grabbing the protruding collar?
I'm not sure if this riser would fit but it is 4.0 so if you can't find anything in time maybe this would work.
Edit: I see that u/ddai22 responded and it looks like they might not actually be 4.0, so nvm.
Yeah the m.2 screw is a handy measurement because the threads are coincidentally the same as the name. Good luck and hopefully you can find one locally. If not, here's an assortment on Amazon, though the 5mm length ones are black, there are 6mm stainless ones if the color is going to be noticeable.
