I’d recommend hiring a guide or going with experienced climbers your first time. Learn how to use the equipment, build an anchor, and use proper safety protocols. Wear a helmet.
I was gonna say get a copy of the guide book https://www.amazon.com/SAN-DIEGO-COUNTY-CLIMBING-GUIDE/dp/0967255325 until I saw the ridiculous price of it nowadays. Use mountain project instead.
As has been mentioned, it's raining at MC tonight. MC needs 48 hours to dry out before climbing, else there is a higher chance holds will get broken.
Use windy.com to drop a pin at the locations and compare the various modeling(NAM vs GFS vs ECMWF); if all the models agree then you should be in the clear, if theres huge differences then you know the weather will be pretty uncertain.
