The box itself was a gift from my wife. But it looks just like it one and the measurements are fitting: https://www.amazon.de/Erinnerungsbox-Aufbewahrungsbox-Spielzeugkiste-Unlackiert-Wertsachen/dp/B0792KBC6W/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?crid=8A7L4KX64WZK&keywords=holzkiste&qid=1656793587&sprefix=holz+kiste%2Caps%2C350&sr=8-13
I hope no one actually pays the $90 list price, you can pretty reliably get it for around $70. Example: right now on Amazon (US).
Of course, $20 is still insane. At that price I'd buy a couple just to give to friends.
If you want the glass presence I used:

Bought the acrylic paint on Amazon $20.. For the sealant I just used spray modge podge I had laying around

Also I used: https://www.sleeveyourgames.com/sleeves/2281/spirit-island To figure out number of sleeves necessary. Big fan of this site.
I use Mayday sleeves for both: MayDay Game Card Sleeves 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" (100/Pack) (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076X2QYQW/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_844N01DKSD37VJN0WE9C

This is the first game I've sleeved because I want it to last and I can shuffle the powers better. I have young destructive kids too.
I used dragon shield matte clear sleeves from Amazon. 4 boxes are needed for all expansions and promos: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G25NEW2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_XM4NNY5EB4M8C37P13QN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I also sleeved the invader deck with ultra pro mini european 44mm x 68mm sleeves.
I personally wouldn't bother, since they're thick enough to not get damaged easily, and you're not shuffling them or handling them too roughly during a game.
But I recently got some giant card sleeves for my Sentinels of the Multiverse oversized villains, which are arguably just as unnecessary, so who am I to judge?
In my Googling to figure out how big a spirit board is, I found another reddit thread that suggested photo-sized sleeves. https://www.amazon.com/BCW-1-6X9SLV-Bcw-Photo-Sleeves/dp/B00BPENIH2/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=6x9+sleeves&qid=1607967842&sr=8-2
Are spirit boards 6x9? If so, those are the right length and width, but you might not be able to fit a thick spirit board in something designed for a photo.
Sure!
The main cards for the game are standard playing card size (88mm x 63mm sleeves work for these) and The ones that I am using are Dragon Shield Clear Matte which are clear on both front and back with the back having a little bit of texture.
As for the Invader Deck I am using Board Game Sleeves Small which are 44mm x 68mm.
Overall I can say that the pros of the Dragon Shield cards have been that they are durable feeling (made for MTG afterall) and the backsides while having some texture don't obscure anything so you can still tell a fear card from a Minor from a Major power card. They also shuffle really nice and should most likely be easy to get your hands on for the forceable future. I ended up getting 4 packs of 100 to allow for sleeving the base game, branch and claw, jagged earth, promo pack 2, and promo pack 1 (whenever that comes back in stock).
The Board Game Sleeves on the other hand are just okay, but since you don't actively do much with the invader deck cards aside from move them across the board they are fine.
If you don’t have paints yet, I’d point you to these as a starter. I bought my pack years ago and am just now running low on some colors. https://www.amazon.com/Army-Painter-Miniatures-Highlighting-Miniature/dp/B01MTXRU2L/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=warpaints+starter+paint+set&qid=1627820818&sprefix=warpaint&sr=8-3
Does this look like what you have?

> if you would like to score your games (to compare your group's performance across game plays):
>Victory: Score 5x Difficulty, +10 bonus for winning, +2 per Invader Card remaining in the deck.
>Defeat: Score 2x Difficulty, +1 per Invader Card not in the deck (both in the discard and face-up under Invader Actions).
>Victory or Defeat: +1 per X living Dahan and -1 per X Blight on the island, where X is the number of players in the game
It's also included in the base rule book.
This app is really useful for calculating scores: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kqiu.spiritislandcompanion
We got it all to fit in with Branch and Claw by taking out the inserts and using two little four part bead storage containers for the pieces. We have the board, then the spirits on top, then the adversaries and scenarios stacked, as well as other cardboard parts. I have two little bead boxes for all pieces. I can't find the ones I have on Amazon. I looked, they fit perfectly. I put those on the side and then stack all cards on their sides. They just fit with sleeves.
The bead containers are like these but deeper and less wide. The fit all of the pieces, though we have to combine a couple. I always put the two colors we always play with the energy, since that all gets dumped out during play.
I've found a very similar one for Android, but unfortunately it doesn't keep track of your games although it does have the score calculator function.

I've been through a few iterations. For a while I kept the cards in large business card boxes (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012DAXGWI), and the tokens in playing card boxes (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07HH24TQ6).
I think it was Major and Minor Power cards in one of the bigger boxes; all other cards in another.
The Cities filled one of those smaller playing card boxes; Dahan and the Energy tokens had a box each too. Explorers and Towns went together in another with a little folded paper divider down the middle. Then similarly Beasts and Disease in one; Wilds and Strife in another. Fear tokens took up most of one box, IIRC, with a little space down the end for Blight. I divided another box into four slots for the player tokens. A final box had odds and ends like the Scenario Markers and Adversary Reminders. This made setup super fast: just take the boxes out of the game box, remove the lids and you're ready to go. You'll have put most of the Invaders back into their boxes by the end of the game, so packing away is quick and easy too.
I believe my current foamcore creation will fit everything* from the base game, both expansions, and both promo packs, all into the original box - and still be able to close the lid. I've got to wait until Jagged Earth arrives before I can check it for sure though.
If it works out, I'll be sure to post photos and designs on this sub. (It won't work if you sleeve your cards though, sorry.)
* everything except Branch And Claw's extension to the Invader board. I found it superfluous so I never use it. It's got big spaces to stack the various tokens but mine are all in their own organisers already.
Sweet, thanks. I ended up going with these Perfect Fit (https://www.amazon.com/KMC-Pochettes-Barrier-Perfect-Sleeves/dp/B00OX04RLQ/) sleeves... they seem very nice, fit tightly and perfectly.
They're "inners" for other sleeves, but I don't need that level of protection for these cards. I appreciate the response and link!
I only have the base game but I think it will fit everything once I get B&C. Not sure about JE
They were an Amazon purchase: https://www.amazon.com/Aybloom-Small-Plastic-Storage-Containers/dp/B085ZGTF51/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Aybloom%2B30%2BPack%2BSmall%2BPlastic%2BBeads%2BStorage&qid=1601037020&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
For best fit, if you order, be sure to select the 2.5x2.5x.08 option (30 for $16.99)
Here’s what they look like packed away in the box: https://imgur.com/gallery/189vC3q
I found myself in the same situation. I bought some cardboard shipping tubes on Amazon. They come 12 in a box, which is way more than I needed, but was cheaper than most other alternatives. Plus when I buy another playmat, I'll have a tube for it.
EDIT: Formatting.
Here is my setup. The Plano is this one from Amazon. and I put the invaders, towns, and cities in a box I already owned. Putting all of those into the Plano would require an entire row, which you can do by ust bagging any player colors you don’t use regularly, the “reminder tiles” seen in the front/center, as well as the coins if you’ve replaced them with poker chips like I have.
