Thank you very well put for everything... I found some alcohol markers on sale and experimented with them and yes they were really good for what I wanted the note for they were a pretty cheap set though.... But I quickly learned how much they bleed & for lack of better wording... "reverse bleed". I used a cheap dollar tree folder under it- and some small marks I didn't notice [likley from Sharpie] also transferred. I found tombow dupes on Amazon w a 5 star rate- Their views are really good and from what I can tell they seem real and emreal and they're also from a lot of people who were looking for what I'm looking for and I guess what the whole point of the thread is looking for... I will link it and I'm buying it so I let you know what I think of them.

I really enjoy the Dahle 133 I ordered from Amazon.
Many office type hole bunches have adjustable punches. Many three hole punches can even rotate a cam to turn off one of the punches and then do two hole. One option could be this Amazon link
I think you would have to get something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Arpan-Deluxe-Display-Storage-portfolio/dp/B00V6O45BE with no metal clasping. You probably won't get as much in them as you would a metal-ring binder though!
I recommend the muji notebook it's similar . Slim and has a cardboard cover. They come in a variation of sizes as well as options for line or grid paper. MUJI Notebook A5 6mm Rule 30sheets - Pack of 5books [5colors Binding] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00I6Y0MH8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.ASwBb99206A4
This would be perfect... if only it were available in the US.
