You almost assuredly have a genetic inability to taste 6-n-propylthiouracil. (abbreviated PROP)
I have tested out a bunch of glasses and i was surprised how much of a difference the glass makes. These are my all time favorites:

I’ll deservedly get roasted for it in this sub, but this is my go to party tequila and it’s surprisingly delicious, simple, and will get the party started:
1 large (I think they’re 1.75L) of Cuervos premixed (with alcohol) margarita
1 750 bottle of 100% de agave tequila nothing special but not Cuervo or sausa
A 5lb bag of ice
2 fresh limes
(Optional) A 10-16oz bottle of a sugary tropical natural fruit juice, something like a strawberry kiwi, or raspberry something or other.
Add ice to a large drink dispenser like this (good will usually has lots of these laying around for cheap)
Add all liquid and pulpy lime juice, mix well
SERVE OVER ICE
These will be strong but not taste like it! As the ice melts in the serving container, simply add more ice, it will go a long way and still be strong. Don’t forget to SERVE OVER ICE
How about some really nice tequila sipping glasses? Friends of mine brought me this style back from Mexico and I don’t drink tequila out of anything else now. Love the fact that they are hand blown and imperfect.
Get yourself an electric citrus Juicer like this one https://www.amazon.com/Pohl-Schmitt-Deco-Line-Machine-Extractor/dp/B07PXMKMRS/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=44QKA2QW6OL5&keywords=citrus+juicer&qid=1666778225&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1Ljg2IiwicXNhIjoiNS42NCIsInFzcCI6IjUuMjgifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=Citr%2Cap...
I skip the Cointreau or orange liqueur. My recipe is a very simple 3:2:1/2 plus a pinch of salt and ice..
Three parts tequila, two parts lime juice and half part agave syrup (or sweeten with sugar to taste). Add a pinch of salt and taste
Have fun.
Thats the link, ill attach a pic as well if you cant access the page (we cant acccess some US pages due to stupid EU laws)
These are the bottles I was thinking of. They are from Amazon, they are round glass 100ml vials w/tamper evident caps. They would be enough for one to really get a good taste of something. How cool would it be to make up a flight for someone who is getting into good tequila? How cool would it be if someone gave you an extra Anejo flight to get a perspective w/o spending thousands collecting bottles you may or may not like?
It would be awesome to receive a NOM flight from a buddy!

I use Dr Swami & Bone Daddy Lo Cal Marg mix. It is not too acidic & its only 25 calories. I use it mainly because it has lower sugar than the rest. It definitely helps with the hangovers.
I use the Elite Spirits Glass by Neat because Denver is dragging his feet making more Agave Glasses, lol.
I like the Neat glass for higher proof spirits.
Virtually all of them are produced with a diffuser for efficiency. Many use multiple agaves with Americana and Salmiana the most common in addition to Blue Weber. Anything that is labeled Blue Green is likely a blend. Try something like this Madhava 100% Blue Agave from Amazon.

This reminds me of the 2-in-1 oil vinegar bottles. Might have to get some and give some Tapatio blanco/anejo bottles as gifts.
Check out.. amazon for there non alcoholic Tequila..
RITUAL ZERO PROOF Tequila Alternative

Someone on youtube said it was decent.
Try La Casa Del Tequila. It's between the malecón and the opposite-direction one-way street through el centro - just a couple of blocks from the police station. They offer "guided tours" for the uninitiated. And the tacos are pretty good.
edit - bad link
I think it's very cool that you're exploring the recipes in my book and trying them out. That's exactly what I had in mind when I was putting it together. Zombie Horde was a kind of manic labor of love. I started collecting some Zombie recipes and eventually things got out of hand. 😊
So, thank you for reading the book and sharing some recipes. It makes me feel very good to know that someone out there is reading and gets it.
Okole maluna,

p.s. Not all of the recipes are meant to be tried. Some are just included for research purposes. If the recipe sounds too nuts, it probably is.
Also, the type in the print (book) version is small and hard to read. It was intended to be an ebook and that's how it's set up.

I use MADHAVA Organic Light Agave
I used to do the cointreau margs but i switched to the tommys margs. Just lighter and more refreshing to me
Get a lime squeezer that looks like this. Makes it so much easier to juice fresh.
I’m not necessarily recommending that brand, btw, just trying to show what type.
Of course! Here’s the Amazon link:

Maybe a coffee table book about Tequila?
Some wine protectors from Amazon.
I've had luck with these inflatable ones:
https://www.amazon.com/Protector-Reusable-Inflatable-Transportation-Cushioning/dp/B078LGG6WS/
I've also bought some nicer, reusable leak proof one's on Amazon.
Ship them in these https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07K35JMTZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QaQuFbQBDXH2K
Also puts lots of newspaper so the don't move around buoy can also parafilm the corkscrew to prevent leakage. Ship FedEx do not use usps. Good luck.
Cool idea, although it's not for me.
Looks similar to the NEAT glass: http://www.theneatglass.com/
I use a nosing glass like this for all my spirits: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0054D876C/
There is no way to dissipate ethanol vapors while concentrating aromas--they're both the same thing. So I want/need concentrated aromas to get the most out of a spirit, and the alcohol vapors don't bother me.
Good luck with your product, though! You might want to try it with whiskey and expand your target audience, at least as an alternative to the NEAT glass.
also works well with regular ol' angostura bitters, and i'm sure orange bitters would be good too. i was lucky to have agave syrup already since i've experimented with it in the past.
the bar where i ordered it did use the mole bitters. i asked the bartender and he cited the brand as bittermens.
What do you mean by "safe"? You mention that you will be camping so I assume that you will not be driving but beyond that what are you trying to avoid other than death?
A solo cup full of any hard alcohol is a lot of alcohol. Do yourself a favor and buy some disposable shot glasses. I've seen shot glasses that actually look like red solo cups. Really cool. You don't have to "do shots", you can sip from a shot glass but it limits the amount you have at any one time and makes you more aware of how much you are drinking.
As far as "how much is too much?", this is my personal guide when I drink Tequila:
(I'm the same height as you but about 20 lbs heavier)
1 shot = 1.5 oz
BAC = Blood Alcohol Content %
1-2 shots: I'm good to go. Feel a slight buzz. Estimated BAC is .02 - .04
3 shots: My limit for driving. Estimated BAC is .06
4-5 shots: Will not drive but still just a buzz. Estimated BAC is .08 to .1
6-8 shots: Drunk. Estimated BAC is .12 to .16
9-10 shots: Drunker but still ok to socialize with the non-drunk. Estimated BAC is .19 to .2
+10 shots: Drunkest. I rarely venture into this realm but when I do, I do it with friends and in a safe location. Drink plenty of water. Eat a little bit of food. Accept the fact that the next day is going to be slack at best.
FYI:
A full size solo cup is +12 oz. That is about 8 shots
1 liter = 33.8 oz = ~ 22 shots
With 4 people drinking, that gives you about 5 shots per person from a 1 liter bottle.
