The actual effects are pretty varied, and most of the info I have is only for MtF people as that's just what I've looked into so idk how much of this is accurate if you're FtM.
It seems the main effect is a change in fat distribution. So you're get more fat on your thighs but, and some on your chest giving you breasts. Minor changes in fat distribution on your face can also help make your face look more feminine, although these aren't drastic changes. Typically you'll lose some muscle mass and it will be harder to gain and maintain muscle as your testosterone levels go down.
Males and females have different sized pores in their skin, with females being smaller than males which is why their skin tends to look smoother. I believe hrt can cause skin to resemble AFAB skin, which causes some things to feel different, which is pretty neat.
Body hair (and facial hair) will tend to grow slower than before, and head hair will grow faster.
I'm not entirely sure of the truth of the following info, but I think it's true, best to look into it further yourself: HRT often causes you to become infertile, or may causes problems with getting and maintaining erections.
It's important to note that these changes do not occur quickly at all and typically take several months to see any initial change, and several years for significant change. Also unlike FtM's on T, MtF's do not experience any change in their voice from hrt, so if you want to change your voice you've got to practice voice training. It sounds difficult and intimidating but it isn't that bad, and I'd recommend r/transvoice if you'd like to start. There are also lots of apps out there that can help you practice training a voice also, personally I use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.DevExtras.VoiceTools
Let me know if you've got any questions with anything I wrote, or any additional questions and I'll do my best to give a good answer 😊
Trans guy here :)
Aerie has excellent bras. The “Real Sunnie” bras are lightly lined and quite comfy. The fabric is also super soft.
Aerie also has great bralettes, wireless, and strapless bras.
For max comfort, I also recommend the classic Calvin Klein sports bras. They don’t have the best support (though tbf I have a pretty big full C chest) but are great to just throw on under a t-shirt/to lounge around the house.
I’ve heard about these things you can put in your shoes to make you look taller by a few inches I’ve linked some I think it’s worth checking out!
Black. I have it in secret. Worn it out before by myself but never to school. I’ll link it
There's this cute turtleneck I found and got for myself recently, it's really comfy and goes with a lot of styles. It's really good to pair with a beanie or other hat, and allows for a lot of variability with the rest of your outfit.Ivw had it for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely LOVE it, first piece of clothing I've went out and got for and by myself and its a 12/10.

Currently trying to read through all of the Discworld series, the reading part is easy, but obtaining all 42 books is the hard part :P
Also Digital Computer Electronics by Albert.P.Malvino, which may look like it is complicated, but is really more like an old Computing For Dummies that I'm reading since my country's curriculum doesn't actually teach anything except the basics of electronics and computing :(
