The TS100 does not accept charge via its USB port as far as I know. Something like this would work instead. Seems to be out of stock but you can find one similar on Amazon.

Thanks for all the replies man. Agreed, and I was under the impression that this cable was providing this 'handshake'. Am I incorrect in this thinking and still need to add the trigger or should this cable not be doing it with the chip it has?

I already have the TS100 so no point in going to the 80 just for this. I honestly thought I had the right parts to make this all work. Sounds like the trigger is the missing piece. Do you think this cable should be triggering 12V or is it not with the right parts to do so?
