Well Well! A little research turned up this:
http://linthesia.sourceforge.net/
Actually its in the ubuntu repos! (though it will not launch). I'll try compiling it from source.
Given this - I probably wont be re-coding the thing.
And how are you making a new release in your project?
It really kills my brainz, because quickly stops working as soon as you touch the debian/* files as it was suggested to me / done. It's annoying as hell.
So always when I want to do a quickly release
i get a packaging error, though my package is packing just fine when i do it on my computer. Note that I get the packaging error not on launchpad but on my computer.
I would be glad if you'd care to check my code: https://launchpad.net/uberwriter The trunk code is perfectly up to date, but as I said, I cannot publish to my ppa nor make a release on the project anymore. And I am not able to find the issue :)
Don't worry, we'll discuss today what we do with Gtumbler and whether it can make it to the contest.
In the meantime, here's the log of the crash [1]. I could reproduce it with the version submitted on the day of the deadline (12.07.1). The next version was not submitted until 3 days after the deadline [2].

Use this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ricsipontaz/+archive/ricsipontazppa
But many things aren't ready yet. (put Database and uploaded images to the right place, resize uploaded pictures). Today I push a newer version, which is include this things too.
Edit: New version (0.3.4) pushed. Fix some bugs. If I am right, the only known issue is now: In Add League (or team, or player) if you don't fill the fields or choose an invalid picture/logo and got an error message, the league_chooser doesn't refresh after you fix the mistake.

I think strip (a comic book reader) have something like that, but I can't remember very well. https://launchpad.net/strip
Also, you could use the toolbar for that.
The suggestion might come a bit too late if you've already started, but if you're developing an HTML app with Quickly, you might want to try the Quickly HTML template from https://launchpad.net/quickly-community-templates - even if you're not using it for your app, it might be worth trying it out and might give you some ideas.
