The nJoy 2.0 fits perfectly between the cheeks. Every one’s body is different, but when I sit down there’s no uncomfortable rubbing or pinching. After a while I don’t even feel it anymore.

Round bases will always protrude as the cheeks keep them from resting comfortably. You’ll notice all plugs geared towards long-term plugging have this “T” style base. If you’re interested in trying out a plug with that style of handle, but don’t want to commit to the nJoy, there are a number of silicone plugs that should get you acclimated.
