You can't send Doge off Uphold as it is Tier 4.
https://uphold.com/transparency
They told last month it would be going to Tier 3 this month, and just recently said it is delayed.
So true! I struggle just to put fund from BAT to f.ex Bitcoin on the uphold.com site, Press the BAT card..choose send to Crypto..choose Bitcoin and then comes to a page where i have to type in cryptocurrency an address or utility token.. like wth? I choose BTC on prev page!.
But on wallet.uphold.com there is an easy way on the right side of the page. Also i miss a "Dark mode" ;)
Hi there, currently every coin in the Tier 3 section of our transparency page has its own wallet 👉 https://uphold.com/en/transparency This means both external deposits and withdrawals of the assets are supported 👍
We also plan to move some more assets from Tier 4 to Tier 3 this coming October. We appreciate your patience in the meantime 🙏
yes. scroll down a bit and you can see Litecoin there. Uphold has gotten many complaints, though, so I would look elsewhere as far as as joining a crypto exchange.
Hi there! Tier 3 currencies can be withdrawn but Tier 4s unfortunately cannot, which you can learn more about here 👉https://uphold.com/en/transparency
We're not holding any funds hostage on our platform. The 65-day hold applies due to fraud risks inherent on the ACH Network, but funds can be withdrawn after 4 business days. Tier 4 currencies can be converted into another currency for withdrawal. We hope this helps! 😊
Uphold does only support a subset of coins for direct deposit/withdrawal.
NANO is not one of them.
The full list is available here: https://uphold.com/en/transparency
Only coins/currencies in Tier 1, 2 & 3 are available for direct deposit/withdrawal. (Scroll down a bit for the tiers.)
Hello, dear moron scammer, both you and u/UpholdOfficial, please let us know why 39% of your reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/uphold.com?stars=1 are 1 star an people are calling you scammers?
Hi u/UpholdOfficial, please let us know why 39% of your reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/uphold.com?stars=1 are 1 star an people are calling you scammers?
u/UpholdOfficial please let everyone know why 39% of your reviews on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/uphold.com?stars=1 are 1 star and everyone is calling you scammers? Is everyone crazy or?
Yep. Over half no doubt on this.
Not including the reddit forums anywhere online showcasing this proof with screenshots and documentation per event across 3 different subreddits (4 if you count the cameo posts on Brave when Uphold steals their BAT too), there is all of these people too, most of which do not have or use reddit, and do not know of the thefts by Uphold that have happened to us, even though we know of theirs.
At TrustPilot, they can barely hold on to a 2 star review, even with paid fake 5 star reviews between the real ones they are that bad.
Here's that site, you should try it! ✌️https://www.trustpilot.com/review/uphold.com
Then for everything else, there's the complaints you can read of them stealing on the Better Business Bureau web site, ConsumerFinance.Gov, and several other places.
You'd have to be a 🤡 to pretend they weren't stealing.
Oh, and don't forget about the sticky hands $700,000 CCO of Uphold! 😝
Cheers, and don't worry, Jesus loves me. If anyone says otherwise, I'll have "Uphold Support" come to them and "chase things up" from a chinese gas station bathroom. 💨
Smh. I'm sorry they got over on you to steal like this. 🙁They do this like clockwork.
Here is the review at Trustpilot you shared, but as a link since for some reason it isn't clickable as a title for people by default (and not everyone will copy it to the browser but they should read it, and clicking makes it easier to) 👍: https://www.trustpilot.com/reviews/60fc8062f9f48709d4be17ee?utm_campaign=review_replied_email&utm_medium=consumer&utm_source=reviewrepliedemail
The Uphold shills will probably try to attack you for it, but people looking at TrustPilot for Uphold will see that Uphold is literally stealing from people every single day this way from each of the reports that are listed daily, sometimes even hourly from new people they have just stolen from.
Uphold is a scam and they are robbing everyone now. People are onto their shills here now too (easy to spot), but Uphold keeps trying to put water on their grease fire.
If you haven't already joined us, please do if we can help you to fight back and get your money back from these creeps.
Most people have reported them with our resources and decided to go after them individually with their own lawyers, but we are still working on assembling a class action against Uphold for everyone else at /r/UpholdIncWillRobYou

Hi there, we're so sorry for giving you cause for concern! Unfortunately we do have a Tier system in place, which means that for some cryptos we don't yet have full blockchain integration. You can withdraw your crypto to your bank account or via a Tier 3 asset. You can read more on our website 👉https://uphold.com/en-gb/transparency
Maybe it is because Uphold is most used by non US residents. I am latinamerican and Uphold is a way to protect from inflation and devaluation of national currencies. Altough it seems many UK residents use Uphold.

I have been using Uphold for +1 year. No problems so far. But there are some concerns... It seems Uphold tend to close accounts and take time to answer complains. People have the sensation that their money is gonna be stolen.

I recommend you to read here https://www.trustpilot.com/review/uphold.com

Hi there, yes we do support MetaMask; you can read more on ETH wallets here 👉 https://uphold.com/en-gb/digital-wallet/ethereum-wallet
However, $LUNA is a tier 4 token right now meaning, you can buy, hold, and sell it within the Uphold platform. Deposits and withdrawals of this currency aren’t supported yet.
Please let us know if you have anymore questions 🙏
Hi there, we're so sorry to hear that you've had a negative experience with us. We take security very seriously at Uphold and can assure you that we wouldn't steal any funds 👉https://uphold.com/en/get-started/security

Hi there, sadly as these are tier 4 tokens, you can't withdraw them. You can see the tokens we have available and their tiers here ➡️ https://uphold.com/en/transparency
Just to let you know, we're also planning to move the most popular tier 4 tokens to tier 3 in October! Updates coming soon 🚀
Hi, TRX is a tier 4 cryptocurrency, which means we do not support its network for deposits/withdrawals, if you wish to withdraw/deposit, you will need to convert this first into a Tier 3 asset such as BTC, XRP, ETH then Withdraw. You can see the tokens we have available and their tiers here ➡️ https://uphold.com/en/transparency
However, we're moving the most popular tier 4 tokens to tier 3 in October. Updates coming via our social media pages soon 🚀
Hi there! Uphold is not a free platform. We are typically cheaper than our direct competitors - Coinbase Retail, Gemini, Revolut and Robinhood - for major cryptos. Our fee schedule is laid out here: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees. During times of acute market stress, spreads widen at our underlying suppliers and we pass these on to you. We also show a warning when spreads are wider than 4 per cent on an individual transaction.
Hi there, we apologise for not being clear on the bank settlement period and for any problems that this may have caused. We can assure you that we haven't stolen your funds and we take security very seriously on our platform 👉https://uphold.com/en/get-started/security
If you have any open support tickets, we'd be more than happy to get them chased up for you, but we're unfortunately limited via social media and so can't resolve anything directly 🙏
Meant doge, since it had a ton of attention in previous months and people were mad they couldn't move it. All "tier 4" currencies by their own design cannot be moved off exchange.

Hi there, thanks for getting in touch! We appreciate this feedback and are working on scrapping the 65-day cooldown applied to US ACH deposits, as we bring in new technology to fight fraud. At the moment we do not have a confirmed date for this, but please rest assured that once we do, we'll be sure to update across our social channels! 🙏

Hi there, it's something we're working on and would love to implement in the near future. Although, we can't give out timeframes right now, we can tell you that we're planning to move the most popular tier 4 tokens to tier 3 in October which will mean full blockchain integration. You can see the tokens we support and their tiers here ➡️ https://uphold.com/en/transparency

If you have a ticket number we could look into and chase up with our team then please let us know 🙏
Hi there, not at all and we apologize if it came across that way 🙏We understand how frustrating the tier system can be. However, not all of our tokens have full blockchain integration so deposits and withdrawals aren't yet supported. We'd like to change this, and our product team have been working hard on this but due to high demand have experienced delays. We're unable to give an exact time frame at the moment but as soon as we can we'll be sure to announce it across our social channels. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Uphold Support Today at 04:07
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to our support team,
I hope you are doing great my name is xxxxx I'll be happy to assist you today,
When the cooldown is applied to the account it's applied to the full deposited amount, and future deposits from other sources (credit card, crypto network) might be deemed as locked if the total balance falls below the bank deposit amount during the cooldown period.
As well, to elaborate a little bit more on the first question you sent through this ticket, the cooldown is applied to the full deposited amount. For example, If you deposit $200 from your ACH bank account and during the 65-day cooldown period your balance increases to $220 due to trading activity and/or crypto volatility the "Profit" generated of $20 would not be affected by the cooldown period, only the initial $200. On the other hand, If you deposit $200 from your ACH bank account and during the 65-day cooldown period your balance falls to $180 due to trading activity and/or crypto volatility, if you then deposit another $100 from a credit or debit card, you will only be able to withdraw to crypto networks or send to other users $80 from the credit card deposit until the cooldown period ends because $20 were locked to complete the initial $200 lock.
I hope this information is useful to you, let me know if I missed something or if you have more questions.
Regards,
xxxx and the Uphold Team
P.S. We’re experiencing higher than normal wait times. Thanks for bearing with us while we respond to your inquiries as quickly as we can.

If your on PC/Laptop etc use the classic uphold dashboard https://uphold.com/dashboard
It will then show all your crypto cards and there balances.
Click on your Dash card, make sure you have USE Funds menu. Then click send to cryptocurrency or utility token.
On next screen select Dash. It should be under ( CHOOSE A CRYPTOCURRENCY TO SEND FUNDS TO )
On Coinbase when logged in top right next to your name should see Send/Receive click that on the little popup click receive and on the Asset menu scroll down to Dash
It will generate a QR code and a Address, copy the address then go back to uphold and paste that address in the "Select a contact or type in a cryptocurrency or utility token address".
Then select amount and make sure it says DASH then click confirm. It might take a min or so but it will end up in your coinbase Portfolio
In the https://uphold.com/dashboard webpage
In the upper right corner of "Username"-"Settings", there is no place where I can update or upload information.
But on its homepage, I saw the following prompt description:
“Your account is being reviewed
Thanks for your patience while we review your information. We will contact you shortly when the process is completed.”
Hi /u/BeauHellander!
I advise that you read the following. It is your responsibility to ensure that your account is safe and secure. Uphold is not responsible for when users are negligent on their account security.

I've also gotten 2.5k stolen from me I was suppose to pay for my new apartment today but no Uphold randomly at 3:22am took the money from my CHECKING then some how I have 12k in uphold when I never use uphold ever. Now that 2.5k said today at 8:20am "refund sent to customer wallet". WTF DOES THAT MEAN??? Not to mention is says "completed". First off I never received my money back. The max I've used uphold was $200. Uphold is a huge scam. Why do they have to hold your money for 60 somedays??? Coinbase and other providers let you withdraw when ever send what ever cash in without a hold. Lastly uphold doesn't show you your bitcoin key which is your first mistake in investing into. Im just very upset I lost 2.5k that I was going to get a place and move out to TODAY but no. Uphold really had to ruin my day and steal my money. I've contacted customer support and my bank and my bank doesn't recall cancelling an transactions. That's when I knew uphold is stealing peoples money. Uphold if you see this please refund my money back to my bank.

Hi there - if you wish to learn more about the fees on our platform, please visit: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees Network Fees - charged when you withdraw to external crypto wallets - are passed on at cost and may vary depending on Network congestion.
Dogecoin looks like it is still a Tier 4 asset. Meaning it can only be traded within Uphold. You won't be able to withdraw DOGE to external wallets.
No. Just found this out myself. See Tier 3 coins....https://uphold.com/en/transparencyCryptocurrencies and Utility Tokens available to Buy, Hold, Sell, Deposit, Withdraw and Send
XLM no. DOT no.
All Uphold members should've known this before even registering. It's literally in the main menu and is spelled out except for the exact individual numbers: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees
It's not like this is hidden knowledge.
You can use the panel outside the Wallet https://uphold.com/dashboard , but I recommend calculating all possible fees, maybe making a change to another currency before, withdrawals and deposits is a cheaper way, I don't know, you have to calculate, never I did transfers with dogecoin.
> Withdraw funds from Uphold
> To move funds off platform via crypto the fee is $2.99. To move funds off platform via bank transfer the fee is $3.99 3rd party costs may apply, such as bank wire costs in some geographies or blockchain network fees
From: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees
I guess the rest of the fee is up to your bank. They're just showing it in XRP because that's where they draw the fee from.
If you want to save on that look for another exchange that accepts XRP and charges less or convert to another crypto/fiat before withdrawing.
Can't tell you which way works best for you, though.
But also uphold's fee schedule is quite a clusterfuck so don't ask me why sending XRP over the network is not considered a withdrawal in crypto.
/u/upholdofficial what's the real deal here, please?

Can anyone confirm/verify that this app is usable in VA? I was looking on their website for legal licenses and I don’t see Virginia on here. I don’t want to buy anything if I’m unsure if I’ll be able to transfer it to my bank.
https://uphold.com/en/legal/licenses-for-residents-of-united-states
You can expect to loose even more since Uphold.com is a SCAM, they will take your data and leavea you hanging(just search for uphold and scam)
They call themselves a Financial institution and they claim to be GDPR compliant but REFUSE to DELETE your data which my opinionis not only a lie but also an criminal act
Hi there,
While there are no transaction fees, it is important to note that we charge a spread every time you convert one currency or asset into another. This is why you see what you described above,, e.g. the spread is 0.8 to 1.2% on major cryptos (see all the details here: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees). Please feel free to reach out via DM so we can look into the specifics. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!
Kind regards,
Uphold Team
Hi there - we do not charge commissions on withdrawals or deposits, but there is a spread built-in when converting one asset to another. Please see here for more information: https://uphold.com/en/get-started/service-fees
Hi u/nivaran90 - Stellar (XLM) is a Tier 4 currency, it's only available to hold and trade at the moment. You can read more about Uphold's tiers here: https://uphold.com/en/transparency
We plan to upgrade some Tier 4 currencies to full integration in the future.
To remove through the Uphold app: 1. Navigate to "More" in bottom right 2. Select "Linked Accounts" 3. Select the debit/credit card you wish to remove. 4. Tap trash can icon in top right and confirm
To remove through desktop dashboard: 1. Navigate to https://uphold.com/login and login 2. Click on tab labelled with the account holder's name in the top right of the page 3. Select "Settings" 4. Select "Funding Methods" 5. Click on the card you wish to remove 6. Select "Remove this account"
Hope this solved your issue!
Their "legal" page where I figured out why they're selling "equities" instead of actual stocks and offering trades.
https://uphold.com/en/legal/licenses-for-residents-of-united-states
...and they claimed to NOT have a support number to call and that is also FALSE.
In fact listed on the link above near the bottom of the page for Texas they list their email address and 888-420-5801 as their "support" line. It is in fact their number when you call it... but when you press "0" for operator, no one is available and it goes straight to voicemail.
u/gazorpazorbian - instead of charging deposit fees, trading commissions, withdrawal fees, etc., we've simplified our pricing and include a small spread. We aim to be significantly less expensive on average than our major competitors. Read more about this pricing on our blog. Note: this pricing is only available on our mobile app, coming soon to the web app.

Hi u/warrior2012 - Canadians can fund via debit/credit card or via cryptocurrencies. For example, you can deposit via a supported debit or credit card (in EUR, GBP, USD) and use those funds to exchange for CAD or any of our 30+ currencies. You can then hold those funds in your Uphold wallet or take advantage of the services provided by our partner apps (https://uphold.com/en/apps).
You can also withdrawal funds via cryptocurrency (to another wallet) or send funds to another member for free.
Our team is currently working to bring bank connectivity to additional regions and hope to have an update on our progress soon!

Obviously I figured that out after making my first transfer but it was not immediately clear whether to select Crypto Networks, Crypto Currencies, or Utility Tokens when sending BAT elsewhere for the first time. It presents a new user with more questions than answers, the user should never be confused where to go next, if they have to search for it or god forbid look up a YouTube tutorial that is poor UI design. I have a terrific book on the subject of UI development, it's called Don't Make Me Think. Trying to make things as clear as possible for the public is a large part of my job.
