Gah!!!! How do you keep these alive!? I just lost my second one.
I know I definitely can’t keep them alive during winter in my place. Gas heat so air is super dry. If I forget to mist/water one time that’s the end. It’s either brown leafs or totally dead.
Would layering things like a sealed terrarium in addition to having drainage in the pot help?
Or how do they do in a closed terrarium? I’ll just get one with a door or one of those glass domes with a base.
Oh!!! Would an “ultrasonic fogger” like this one on Amazon possibly help?
You need a good grow light or for it to be outside in full sun for most of the day. Light through a window is weak compared to sunlight outdoors, plus depending on which direction your window faces, it might not be getting enough hours of light per day. If you're interested in a grow light, mine sits under this bulb for 10hrs/day and is growing normally.

You seem to have found the lesser known "Solar Flower Outdoor Solar Flower Lights" from the Nursery at Amazon. Propagating them from seed or cuttings is a real bitch.

By no means am I pushing amazon... I just thought this was a good picture of a Chocolate Mimosa. I've always found these pretty as well, just too lazy to keep it in check when it spreads through the yard.
May I ask where you are in the world? I'm really just curious because I'm learning a language that uses « » so don't feel like you need to say for my sake.
Your photo looks like these. That's one of my favorite flowers, though I always go for the ones that have unpredictable flower colors.
Thank you so much for both comments! Ahhh darn. Definitely going to think over these options!
If you don’t mind, I have another cherry-adjacent question: I got these guysBarbados Cherries arriving on a few days and I can’t find too much about them, other than claims that they make a good indoor plant. Would you happen to have any info on them/care/time until harvest?
Thanks either way!
