You can still download the beta here: http://www.aceofspades.com/forums/showthread.php?51-Ace-of-Spades-0-75-0-76-Downloads
Perfect for a LAN party, even though it isn't the final release version with rocket launchers and everything else. If I remember right the weapons in the beta are rifle, shotgun, and SMG.

It's true. Python can make anything, including 3D open world games with physics. But it's a long road. Start with something small that you can finish, like a card game without graphics. Then make that an executable. Then make a basic 2d graphic "character can move around" thing in pygame. Then make that executable. Then add features, making sure you are using good OOP (check in here for help).
Then, if you want a performant 3D game, you'll need to learn some opengl and probably use cython a bit too.

I couldn't figure out what map you were playing on, checked the website, and it's been updated! So sweet, great game, more maps are something it needed desperately.
