Alto's Adventure (currently $0.99 instead of $2.99) - A gorgeous and very simple snowboarding game which is even more stunning on a large TV than on an iDevice. Buy one one device and get it for all!
For those wondering this was inspired by this article about the dynamic skybox in the game Firewatch by Camp Santo and the art style of Alto's Adventure
Man, I've been playing games on both my phone, iPad, Xbox forever. Hitting up subs like /r/IosGaming, /r/AppHookup etc. trying all sorts of things out. But out of all of those the best game for the phone for me that I played the most and enjoyed the most is Alto's Adventure.

That game is just so well made and clean that it's actually relaxing despite what seems like a lot of action. In it's essence it's a snowboarding/runner game but that doesn't do it justice nor does any description I could give. There's 1-2 minute trailer right on the link that I posted above that pretty much shows you all you need to see. I think the big thing that makes it so great are that you could pick it up and play for 2 minutes or 2 hours,, there are a seemingly endless number of achievements that you actually feel like you've accomplished something when you make progress on them, and the mechanics of the game are so tight that, when you lose you know it's because *you* were too fast or too slow, not because the game glitched or some unexplainable thing happened. Truly one of my favorites.

Probably too late but figured I'd share anyway. If you are looking for like an iPad or something bigger I have some suggestions there too but, if I had to pick one game only for my phone, it's my boy Alto.
On mobile, there's actually a neat series called http://altosadventure.com/
Swipe left and you get a non-points infinite zen-mode snowboard runner game. It's pretty peaceful and quite absorbing. The sound is pleasant too.
I am completely overwhelmed.
I am completely new to all this stuff, and to be honest it is confusing. Truth is I want something very simple as a website, kind of like this. A landing page, with a few images, that is responsive and quick to use. This is what I did on wix. I feel like it could be done in 10 minutes by someone with HTML knowledge, and it would probably be more responsive than it is right now. All I need is a few photos, maybe a gif for some nice animation and a video for the trailer. That's it.
I am not entirely sure of how to use all that information you gave me. I really want to learn all of this, but I don't know where to start. Do you know where I can find some more information?
Alto's Adventure is an awesome game with light gameplay and no in-app purchases after bought. It's an endless runner snowboarding game with tricks, new characters, great music, and awesome animations. Check it out: http://altosadventure.com

I'd add Alto's Adventure to this list - it's my latest addiction. It's not only a great game, but it's super relaxing - it's my current go-to for killing some time without causing any anxiety.
iOS only, but it is a great time sink. It also has one of the best visual styles I have seen on a mobile game for a long time! And even better, it is currently 50% off :)
