> SecureCRT is... the best I've ever used, although I really feel the space is ripe for disruption. You can really feel all the years of history baked into the thing, especially when you look at options for scripting/plugin development. Someone's going to take their lunch money one of these days if they're not careful.
Funnily enough, it is much worse on Linux... you'd think in land of console we'd have more "connection managers", but asbru seems to be only one worth attention.
On windows I use MobaXterm but that's windows only ;/
Securecrt. Commercial, not super cheap, but solid and feature rich. https://www.vandyke.com/products/securecrt/
Else, Asbru. A fork of pac manager, itself loosely based on securecrt model.
Open source and free https://www.asbru-cm.net/
After some searching, I accidentally found a terminal that will probably do almost everything I wanted. It's called "Ásbru Connection Manager"
I can have listed all the scripts I want and run them on the terminal or remotely on another machine. Most likely it doesn't record sequences of commands that I do throughout a session, but it was the closest I found. After using it, I will give feedback here in the chat. However, if you have other alternatives, they are welcome =)

I had the same question and just found the thread.

Fair enough. Best to not fight the OS' paradigm, I guess.
Closest thing I've been able to find too. I'll install it on my Debian and Ubuntu machines; it's better than nothing.
> Remote System Monitoring
When you SSH into the machine, there's small toolbar at the bottom of the terminal window that shows RAM and CPU usage (with a moving graph) as well as uptime. Brilliant stuff.
That's a REALLY delayed response.
For the most part, all-in-one stuff is against the ideology of *nix. Small programs that do their job very well and can integrate with one another is generally how this plays out. I'm not saying that it doesn't exist, just that you might want to adjust your expectations. For my purposes, I tend to use Mate Console for console/X11/SFTP and Remmina for RDP and VNC.
A quick Google search shows similar functionality to mobaxterm at https://www.asbru-cm.net/
I'm not sure what you mean by Remote System Monitoring in this context. Can you explain what you mean?
I use Asbru which is a fork of the discontinued PACManager.
But you can find similar stuff https://flathub.org and snapcraft.io
But I would choose MobaXterm if it would be available on linux. Hopes and dreams...
