I don’t have a link to provide, it’s more of a getting a free wallet from blockchain and once you verify identity to GOLD, they will send you $50 worth of xlm. Sign up here https://www.blockchain.com/wallet
https://www.blockchain.com/wallet offers different interest for different crypto.
You just open a wallet and then you can transfer your crypto from the wallet where you hold, to the interest wallet.
The rates are:
4,4% for bitcoins, bitcoin cash and stellar.
6,5% for ether.
12% for tether and usd digital.
In order to use the interest account, you need to be gold in the verification and a minimum sum must be deposited.
https://www.blockchain.com/wallet I would use that over cash app For hardware wallet maybe ledger if you wanna spend some money. Noncustodial wallets include the Bitcoin.com client, BRD, Blockchain, BTC.com, Electron Cash, Copay, Jaxx, Coinomi, Edge, and many more because these platforms give users the ability to store their own private keys. An example of an Electron Cash mnemonic phrase or private key.
Tbh if you are just buying it to hold then use https://www.blockchain.com/wallet ,always verify urls as well, never just trust a link that anyone gives you on the web. You get the private keys in the settings and you get a pneumonic recovery phrase. Also one of the oldest guys around.

edit: also you could just download the bitcoin.com app and use it as both point of purchase and wallet. You can purchase bitcoin and bitcoincash. I would have mentioned this earlier but due to being banned from r/btc for absolutley no reason whatsoever and no explanation, I often forget about those guys even though I actually support that chain more.
If you must use Coinbase as your on and off ramp for crypto then you should be using another wallet to act as a buffer for transactions that might be against the Coinbase TOS.
I haven't looked at online wallets for a while so I can't recommend anything, thought https://www.blockchain.com/wallet does come to mind.
I use a hardware wallet, which is a physical device that stores and generates your private key and your public keys. It is a form of offline storage and is the industry standard for storing your crypto currencies.
Mobile/web apps might be the best option for you if you're not planning to hold crypto as an investment or use it as a currency for anything outside of gambling. Coinomi, Mycelium and the Brave browser are all user friendly.
So your transaction chain should look something like this:
$USD -- > Coinbase --> Your personal bitcoin wallet --> Ignition
Crypto to FIAT
Ignition --> Your personal bitcoin wallet --> Coinbase --> $USD
ATM would be probably the most efficient. Perhaps you have an over the counter bitcoin store in your town that could be a possibility as well.
You can download your own wallet on your computer if your into that or easier and quite good, open a free wallet on the blockchain website https://www.blockchain.com/wallet
There are a lot of good online methods to buy but those mostly are only open to someone > 18 .
FYI, don't deposit onto a poker site using Coinbase. Coinbase will freeze your account. Instead set up a separate wallet (e.g. https://www.blockchain.com/wallet or a wallet on your computer e.g. Bitpay/Copay https://github.com/bitpay/copay/releases) and do Coinbase->wallet->Ignition.
For what you describe I actually recommend this:
https://www.blockchain.com/wallet
The wallet from blockchain.com (formerly blockchain.info) is one of the oldest and largest wallets. Like the other great wallets already mentioned you control your own private keys, but the wallet works easily on both desktop via a web interface (so no download needed) and also has a mobile version. It also supports BCH, BTC, ETH all together. The security options are also very good. For new people it's be far the easiest way to experience a variety of the biggest coins safely.
Electron Cash is a fantastic wallet, but it's more for advanced users. It's easy enough to use too, but it's just built with a specific focus and functionality, which is being an awesome independent feature rich wallet for BCH.
Get a hardware wallet (ledger or trezor) or a non custodial wallet checkout https://www.blockchain.com/ wallet. I decided to share my experience to create awareness of the bad companies in this space, so no one else falls victim.
