$50 with the plus subscription, $5 without it is what they have hidden with 'default.' Pretty scummy.
"As referenced on the Buildbox Pricing Page, the “Default” Monthly Threshold is US$5.00."
Tiana on our team wrote a great article on app store SEO (i.e. ASO). This is a pretty comprehensive guide:
Like GDevelop? I don't think many. If you mean by that "engine with visual scripting", personally I like UE4 with blueprints. Else, for those built with visual scripting in mind, on the top of my mind buildbox, stencyl and coppercube. Note that all of those are pretty different from GDevelop, and are proprietary unlike GDevelop which is open source. If by like GDevelop you meant open source, your best bet might be godot, though last time I checked their visual scripting was pretty bad.
My favorite is The Art of Game Design by Jesse Scnhell. Tinkertoys is also great, and the favorite of a good friend of mine. I also have a game business with 60,000,000 downloads in the hypercasual market, and made an ebook talking about minimal game design.
Let's see :
DS2 E3 build was shown officially and was downgraded
This is a leak, and so was the Project Beast mentioned below and look how that turned out compared to BB (let's not even mention the pre TGS leak)
DS2 didn't involve Miyazaki
Miyazaki is involved in this and in every other souls that is much loved by the community
This build is "a few weeks old" according to leaker, which could mean anything from 3 weeks to a couple months.
The game has 3 more months to be released.
People in this sub noticed improvement to buildings from newer screenshots.
Random ass article about game polishing tips because why the fuck not : https://www.buildbox.com/game-dev-101-adding-polish-games/.
I don't think you can do this but if you upgrade, they take less. I think you wait until you know your game is going to be successful and then upgrade to keep more of the revenue once you hit a milestone.
It's a no-code game development platform. Haven't used it but some of the sample games look impressive.
Sorry to say this but either learn to code or make a simple prototype with a no-code builder
Buildbox 1 has not been sold for several years. It would not work for much these days.
Buildbox 2 and 3 are still available however and should suit all of your needs 😁 You currently have Buildbox 3. You can find all tutorials at https://www.buildbox.com/tutorials-buildbox3/
There was a forum post by someone who tweaked the camera to make it first person. I think it's possible but will need a lot of work.
Found it: https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/experimenting-with-fps-style-bb3-game.17907/
You should checkout https://www.buildbox.com if you want to build cool games for both platforms. There is a cost with this platform however it’s built specifically to build only games.
