It's the best. My husband got it for me as a gift for my gaming setup. It makes the most satisfying clicking sounds and has a bunch of different color options. It's on Amazon for a decent price and I totally recommend it
Got the PS4 version since there was no PC version, will just buy a digital copy for PC. Hell, just got an email for Green Man Gaming where they have it for PC listed at 20% off already! I've had GMG issues in the past. They have good customer support but the company has bad policies. Really nice and try to work with you, but when something like this, say an issue with the system that isn't communicated to a customer, happens, there's not much they can do.
Drop a review on their Trust Pilot (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.greenmangaming.com)
Detail this exact story. You'll get a reply from an agent eventually and they may offer a future credit or otherwise apologize, but that's about it.

Just tested it out (and then voted for elden ring again), it works. Don't use a password you use for everything just in case but you should be good to go.
really? i had this https://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Special-Armed-Forces-Wireless-Controller/dp/B00N3NSUIK , it was so bad the Rb kept getting stuck / eventually went out of place . granted i had it for like 4years . Series x controller looks the same , looking on google not sure about the material . what do you think?
This is the controller I have. It was the button labeled "Mode"
I specifically bought a Xbox knock-off controller that works with a PS4 just because I hate how the PS4 controller feels after playing with an XBox controller after 300+ hours lol

I wouldn’t say the monitor sucks as much as the quick photo I took of my stats.
I use https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Monitor-Display-Response-FreeSync/dp/B08JWCHR5N and with the 1440p upgrade it looks quite nice.
I’m new to gaming monitors. Used to only be tv.
It will save your important electronics during power outages and in this case would have given you time to shut it off before losing save data.

In the 90s I remember they actually had physical walkthrough books with all the "secrets" in them. I believe I got one for Christmas for a Zelda game at one point.
EDIT: I don't remember if this was the one I got, but it was similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Legend-Zelda-Bradygames-BradyGames-1998-11-23/dp/B019NDX0B0
I don't think it is. The colours seem off, her face looks different, and this one is, unlike the original, super shiny
Looks a lot like this one here.
I'm very tempted to spend the money on them, but struggle because that's another full game I could buy...

Naw, this is 100% handmade using a Burnmaster Hawk woodburning tool with various Razertip pens/nibs
Very, very old, but the original Dark Elf series from the Forgotten Realms is fun. It grew to be about 30 (or more) books long. I only read the first six. The "fun" part (to me) is the Dark Elf part of the story. Somewhat dark, but not gory or scary. It's a story of a Matriarchy were males are mere tools. They have an interesting "justice" system. And they live in caverns (opposite to the general perception of elves living in a forest).
If it is within your budget and shipping is okay in your country, the physical art books are really interesting and I bet he would be thrilled. There are even the original Japanese ones. There is usually one for each game, i'm not sure if there are combined ones though.
Put a little hand on the bow please
Not sure why it matters so much to you but here’s the listing where I found this image.
Elden Ring has been crashing my PS5 ever since I started playing...maybe a month or two ago. I play for maybe 45 - 90 minutes, there's no fixed amount of time, its all fine. Then I hear this scratching audio sound, and within about 2 seconds of first hearing that distorted audio, the entire console crashes - shuts off entirely, the controller won't turn it back on. I have to go hit the physical power button on the front of the console.
I opened up the console, it wasn't dirty or dusty. I took off the outer shell, set up a desk fan to blow directly into the cooling fan, still crashed.
In my most recent attempt to fix the issue, I transferred the game from internal storage to my NVME expansion drive. The specific drive I'm using is:
Amazon - Seagate FireCuda 530 1TB
Seagate FireCuda 530 1TB Internal Solid State Drive - M.2 PCIe Gen4 ×4 NVMe 1.4, PS5 Internal SSD, speeds up to 7300MB/s, 3D TLC NAND, 1275 TBW, 1.8M MTBF, Heatsink, Rescue Services (ZP1000GM3A023)
I haven't been able to test this for very long but for the few times I've played, I haven't experienced any crashes. The most recent time I played over an hour, the shell was off but I didn't have the desk fan running at all, and the console didn't crash.
Not sure if this is an actual fix or if I've just gotten lucky but thought I'd share it. I didn't read through the entire thread so maybe someone already suggested this but I hadn't seen it in any of my research on the issue so I figured I'd post it as a possibly helpful suggestion to try.
Good luck! Let me know if this is helpful or not.

It's a rock candy Xbox one controller. This one specifically, https://www.amazon.com/Rock-Candy-Wired-Controller-Xbox-One/dp/B00MY8BBGS.
I'll have a look into it and see if it has something like that.
Dr. Robert Zaslavsky is credited for providing “Latin Translations”, and it looks like he wrote a latin textbook and so presumably knows what he’s talking about. With the godskin theme I’d agree that what’s being sung is debatable until we get the Elden Ring Score Book (lol I wish), but presumably there’s some legit latin somewhere in the game. The only thing which comes to mind is the song those white poison bat women sing, which is much clearer.

Buffered actions in general (but roll is the most obvious and obnoxious in these games) are when you press a button but some action intrerupts it, but once the intreruption ends, you do said actioned. It was buffered from before. E.g. you try to roll, but you get hit just before you do the input, therefore you're staggered. As soon as you get out of stagger, you roll (due to the previous input) and that can cause death sometimes.
I can run it on better quality, but it doesn't bother me to have it lower.

General Radahn is cursed ever to wander. Eaten from the inside, by Malenia’s scarlet rot, his wits are long gone. So Elden Ring has a lot of issues on PC nobody wants to talk about, here are a few things that helped me or have helped other people. This isn't explicitly about being able to play online BUT almost all the issues people report with the game stem from either EAC or EOS which governs online play so it's all kind of related.
First, close NordVPN completely, not just turn it off. It interacts with the game's EAC (easy anti cheat) and EOS (Epic online services). Both programs make up the backbone of Elden Ring's multiplayer.
Second, and this kind of goes along with the first, close ALL programs, even web browsers or a firewall that aren't essential for playing the game. I mean close them just don't turn them off like Nord or a virus scanner, actually shut them down completely. When launching and playing the game, try to have as little software running as you can. For whatever bizarre reason even my Firefox browser being open will cause EAC to lag and cause the game to launch quite literally 100x slower. Like, it takes 5 minutes to load as opposed to be instant.
Third, check your bios and debate if you want to take the risk updating. Older bios firmware has some known issues regarding interacting with EAC at the very least.
Fourth, Turn off the steam overlay. Might not really matter but people say it helped them.
I have noticed lately the game will make my computer black out for about a minute when the game closes because Epic Online Services shits the bed on exit. I didn't even know the game used EOS until I had to force quit it in relation to Elden Ring a few times.
Buffered actions in a game like this is stupid. Split second means death in this game. Actions should be instant or not happen at all not buffered in a queue waiting to be done. I really hate that about these games. I can never love them because of that
If you're gonna use a controller on PC buy any xbox wireless controller. I use the xbox elite series 2, but in the past I've used elite series 1 and regular xbox one controllers and all work fine. If you want better response times get one of these

If you have another 8pin connector. And it’s a 3 phase psu. Make sure the free 8pin connector is from a different phase, and plug it in place of the current 8pin connector.
Otherwise you’d have to test the psu… didn’t realize it was new. And (unlikely. But possible to get a faulty one). Switching to a different 8 pin would do it.
I’d swap in a different stick of ram and give it a go again…

This one. SK Hynix isn’t as well known as Samsung but they’re the second largest memory manufacturer behind Samsung. If you experience stutters and drops between areas I can’t think of much else to explain that aside from the fact that you have an HDD. It’s loading assets between areas and HDDs are slow compared to SSDs so it’s killing you. At the very least, even if it doesn’t fix your problem, it will dramatically shorten your load times in everything and once you experience an SSD you will never go back to HDD.

This is the one! It does cost money but I've easily gotten my money's worth haha. Impossible to keep this all straight otherwise.
Buffered/stored inputs are infuriating and make me feel helpless at times. I miss a roll get hit and then proceed to roll off a cliff. Or miss a roll and then roll again and get caught in the bosses anime combo that kills me. If I miss an input I want to be punished once I don't feel I should be punished twice. I notice it a whole lot more in this game than the others and it drives me bonkers.

I always played like that when sprinting and while not painful, was not at all comfortable. I installed rear paddle buttons on my controller before Elden Ring came out, works like a champ. Super comfortable, and no more issues. Definitely recommend them. Only downside was that I had to buy a new charging dock, but I found one that worked.

You can ask this sub if you want, just about everyone who plays souls games on a pc uses controllers. Because again, it’s the way the game was designed.
No and I honestly have no idea how to go about it. I looked into installing my VPN (Astrill) directly onto my router, but apparently it's not possible. The baffling thing is the previous update went through fine, so it would seem it's not a blanket “you cannot install updates with this version" issue.

Regular surge protectors don't work for preventing damage to your systems--I know this because two of my PS4's were ruined due to keeping them in rest mode and we had a bunch of brownouts in my area at one point. Made sure to get this before we got another PS4 and for sure when I got the PS5. Once the power is out you have time to save your game and turn off your system without any damage :)
If you haven’t played DS before, you may want to try Dark Souls Remastered ($25) or Dark Souls 3 ($20) first. That way you can tell if you like the general gameplay / combat before investing in Elden Ring. In my opinion, Dark Souls 3 has great combat mechanics and Dark Souls Remastered has the better exploration bits. Hell, you can get the trilogy for less than $45 and maybe cheaper second hand Dark Souls Trilogy (Xbox One) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M7X2JLB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_NNQE7M5VBRAYSPX6F205
Also depends on what kind Xbox you have. Given the performance issues, you are best of playing Elden Ring on a Series X / S, but not on last gen. If you only have last gen, I’d generally recommend playing the other Dark Souls games unless you are ok with the sub 30 fps.
If anyone wants to do this themselves (for some God-forsaken reason):
Buy this (or something similar. Has to be HDMI to RCA (aka AV)): HDMI to RCA Converter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CMKGLS4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_TRMS4S0HYQ45VBHZ15Y0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Set whatever device you’re running to 720 for the best result and adjust the picture size from the console to make sure the whole display is seen.
You want to set to the lowest possible resolution because the less you’re trying to downsample the cleaner the result. Unless you’re a masochist and want to have the worst quality which I respect that 😂
Actually if you are interested in the story of previous souls entries, I really recommend those books:

Has anyone bought a PS4 version from Amazon? May I ask where do you live?
Does the disc you bought from Amazon have English version included? Or did Amazon just deliver a language-cut version of the disc to the country you are living just like what happened to the digital version?
There seems to be only one option in their store (this one) is this the one you bought?
Is there anything that I should know, other than I will have to buy a game+DLC bundle in the future if a DLC is released because buying local DLC doesn't work on foreign disc main game?

I know some of these questions may sound dumb, like the store even says Country of Origin = USA, of course it has English in it... or does it? Am I paranoid?
Gosh I thought accessing games is easy, just buy it, but now it seems so complicated
Sony sells their version for 30 USD. That will likely have the highest build quality.
There's also third party, like this. Quality is gonna vary, for sure. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08X6DCB8X/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_D4PQTF2NRB3HSX6WA0NP
Yes, I can confirm the game has Family Share enabled, but is region locked.
I live in Canada (store set in Canada) and a friend in Italy bought the game and shared his library with me. I could donwload the game just fine from his account, but after switching to my account, the game would say "Purchase" instead of "Play". I turned on NordVPN in Italy, restarted steam, and now the game appears on my library as well and I can now download it and play it
my suggestion:
buy a new SSD (optional so you don't have to backup your files)
prepare Win 10 installation medial (USB)
unplug, open computer, take all components out and de-dust
remove heatsink from CPU and clean + re-apply a dime-sized amount of artic silver to the middle of the CPU, put back heatsink (for this step it help a TON if you've first removed the mobo from the chassis and set the mobo on top of electrostatic wrapper set on top of corrogated cardbaord
put everything back together (but leave old SSD out so you don't accidentally format your files) and boot of installation media --> install fresh Win10
Install all latest chipset and gpu drivers directly from manufacturer (intel, amd, nvidia)
Shutdown, unplug and put back old ssd to have your files
TADA!! no more problems
This is the exact one I got
Took about 30 minutes and you just have to unscrew a few acres and plug in some cables, super easy.
I was able to resolve this problem successfully. Results may vary, but this appears to be a result of poor air circulation. Elden Ring heavily employs the PS5’s hardware, generating a decent amount of heat. If your console completely loses power a few minutes into gameplay, you may find the power cord itself to be quite warm. That means it’s drawing quite a bit of current. So try this:
Limited-time deal: OIVO PS5 Stand with Suction Cooling Fan and Dual Controller Charger Station for Playstation 5 PS5 Console, Suction Cooler Fan with Charging Dock Station and 12 Games Storage- 2 IN1 Cable Included https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08T1KHHR9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_dl_F7BKCF1SF7H0NEDVYR83
Before I took these steps, I was getting aprox 10m of gameplay in before crash. After, I played for several hours with no crash. If it’s not an air circulation issue, it sure does a great job as disguising itself as one. Best of luck!
People have been asking so, for anyone curious, I've been making these in Reroll. It's a character creator app. You get to choose from hundreds of options to make virtually any fantasy character.
There's space to add a bio and a Dungeons and Dragons character sheet. I think it's 5e.
There's a demo, but to get the full app it's 7 bucks I think. I'm not affiliated with these guys, just a big fan. You can get it in Apple's store too, but here's a link for Android:

It's pixel art! And these were made in Reroll, it's an app anyone can use to make characters like this using assets that are already made.
I backed their Kickstarter to get it but you can get the demo in the app store, Android or Apple if you look it up. I think it's 7 bucks to unlock everything if you like it.

If you want to get in the business of drawing stuff like this yourself though, I say go for it! Doing art is extremely rewarding and pixel art is pretty fun to do. Try looking up guides on YouTube
This was created in Reroll, It's a character creator app I backed on Kickstarter a while ago, you basically make your own character, pick race, gender, gear, weapons, etc.
It's a small app, created by just two really nice people. You can try the demo version for Android here (it's also on Apple, if you search for it), and it's 7 bucks to unlock everything.

God I wish buffering just wasn't a thing. The number of times I've rolled too late, gotten hit, then the roll goes through when I know there's followup coming that will hit me right after the buffered roll, is insane.
Buffered rolls have never done me any favors lol.
Buffered input to this degree doesn’t need to exist AT ALL. The problem with buffered input in any game arises when a buffered command STILL executes after you’ve taken damage. The adventure guide that comes with the preorder seems much smaller (or so it looked when Kitao held the paper version in yesterday famitsu video). The 200-page guide is something different, sold by famitsu and is called “the navigation guide”
I might have gone a little overboard.

This, but probably green and gold.
I remember being so disappointed when I received my Amazon pre-order e-mail about the 552 page Nioh Collector's Edition Guide by Future Press being cancelled. As per, was to be a beautiful looking book:
Nioh: Collector's Edition Guide visual
Can't remember the reason as to why it was cancelled. Will need to look it up.
And on the topic of them making an Elden Ring book, I doubt that also, as they seem to have focused on the production of the beautiful guide to the upcoming new Horizon game. I've pre-ordered the guide, and hope to the First Flame that this one isn't canceled either!

As people here have also stated, I am stunned at the inflation that game guides and game art books and any other type of game books seem to suffer from mere months after release. I have pretty much all newer Future Press guides apart from the Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Collector's Edition Guide by Future Press, that I sold year ago during some money troubles -- not reasling it'd be worth £200 a year later!
And same with their exceptionally rare Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium which is, new and sealed, around £500. I didn't buy it at the time as I was waiting to complete Dark Souls 3! How naïve I was! I've emailed them and message them via Twitter several times about any possible chances of reprints, but have had nothing but silence.
As luck would have it, however -- and what will have to do -- I have managed to procure a highly detailed scanned copy of both the Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Collector's Edition Guide and Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium. But, goddamn it, I want them lying beautifully on my shelf!
