It's not about the viewers, it's about the players. The games are done between Hawaii and Shanghai of course the time is going to be suitable for them. Blame the globe if you want to blame something.
If you want more info: my friend and I made GonzoVR, which is predominantly a social app where you can talk to broadcasters and other users as avatars. We first released the app a while back, but we wanted to take some time to see what users enjoyed about it and figure out which facets to focus on before we posted to reddit about it.

You can drive an RC car around our living room pretty much 24/7 and Ela does talk show style broadcasts every day at 6 pm PT. I’m also going to do a broadcast this Friday at 9 pm PT.
>it sounds unlikely.
Why does it sound unlikely? That's precisely the case.
1:45 UTC would be 4:45 AM in Russia (in this scenario July 13), and 9:45 PM EDT in the US (on the previous day, in this scenario July 12)

EDIT: Confirmation from Eddy as well. Official schedule should be updated to reflect the change as well with any luck.
Australia is getting it at 12 AM local time on the 14th. While Singapore, Japan and Taiwan are getting it at 12 am local time on the 15th.
Australia is getting the game first while Japan, Sinagpore and Taiwan are getting it at least 24 hours after them despite being the closest together geographically.
Not sure if /s or not. However, west coast release is the same time as the east coast.
Both are 16 hours after the Australian release
1) There is a link to the English Amiami page near the bottom; you pay in Yen (which depending on what you use to pay for it IF your pre-order gets accepted...) and it will be calculated into USD when it's paid for via whatever means you are using. Some methods might add a little more due to conversion fees. Do not bother using Zenmarket for this, that will only induce more headaches than necessary (more on that later).
2) Despite it saying there will be a sale for a week, if the last clusferfuck of a sale is anything to go by expect all pre-orders to sell out in less than an hour, as these are not made to order, but have a set number they have ready. Even if you get to checkout with a fumo, prepare to be disappointed with the site lagging and delays; you are going to be fighting English and Japanese buyers flooding the site for a fumo.
3) It depends on your timezone. I am in CST in the US, so 11 am on October 25th would be around 9 pm my time. You should try and get on about an hour or so early with your time zone and make sure your internet access is fine and have nothing better to do. https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/japan-tokyo-to-cst <- This will let you calc the timezone
I don't want to be as aggressively pessimistic as I have just been, but as a fumo owner who saw the flood of complaints of people in this sub who could not buy one due to amiami barely being able to handle its own traffic, much less the swarm of fumo enthusiasts, it was kind of sad. Just be ready with your hand on the trigger, so to speak. Good luck, dood.
However, if you will be anywhere between the Congo in the West, Perm, Russia in the North, or the India/Bangladesh boarder in the East, then you will get to see complete totality for sometime.
All times are listed in UT, so if you need a conversion check out this site...https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
Hey everyone, this is the second part of my storyline for each of the teams in the group stage article. It focuses in the teams that play tomorrow: Meta Athena, LuxuryWatch Blue, BK Stars and CONBOX Spirit.
Let me know your thoughts and don't forget to tune in for the matches tomorrow, 19:00 KST at twitch.tv/ognglobal.
Here's a time converter for those who don't know the exact local time.
Livestream #2 is tomorrow at 7 PM GMT where they'll show the multi-crew features and other things.
Suspect that idea never really got off the ground.
There's some implementations here:
https://devguide.calconnect.org/Time-Zones/TZDS/
Don't think it's run anywhere as a public service (i.e. like NTP).
https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ is generally the co-ordination goto.
Have you tried asking google? Or just look at the Overwatch league page??
Looking for CEST? kcool
I'm going to start hosting monthly events in the spirit of Splatoon's Splatfest or ARMS's Party Crash for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Hopefully it gets big enough that Nintendo themselves could maybe start hosting their own.
This is just a fun let's play celebration to keep the mario kart 8 community invested into the game series.
This months theme is Luigi vs Waluigi.
It will be the weekend of September 21st to September 24th where you can contribute points for your ~~waifu~~ favorite character.

If anyone wants to help suggest the next month's theme you can suggest a comment below.
It must be "Nintendo Approved" (family friendly) themed and related to Mario Kart series in some way.
Keep in mind that it is for October so maybe some spooky suggestions.
Thanks for reading! Now eat my green shells!
EDIT: Inputted starting times per region.
I like this timezone converter better, because I can see the time in my timezone and don't need to calculate when will it be by using a countdown clock. It also have a countdown clock. HTH
If you logged in at 7am AEST it'd have launched 30 minutes before. 6:34am is T-0.
IMHO posse challenges are better than showdowns (problems joining in, matches and kills doesn't register sometimes) or free-roam events (45 minute cool-down). Just find someone who plays the same hours you do. PM me if you're on PS4 and play during 2am - 1pm EDT (worldtimebuddy.com) and I'll add you. I play every day and can help you with posse challenges.
I've had to deal with conference calls between Asia, Europe, and all NA timezones as well as Australia...
World time buddy is definitely my friend! Just put whichever timezones you need in, and it highlights times/dates for you.
We put it up on Steam back in October but we wanted to polish it up and add/optimize features before sharing it on Reddit. Like the title says, you can play with robots, buy treats for my dog, and talk to my cofounder and I live in VR. I do broadcasts every night at 6 pm Pacific Time and I set a topic every night on our Discord. Come say hello some time!
ill just paste this here

Use this to see what time is the event, and your location and you can see what time it

Yall welcome!
The way most of us understand it, it's a 12 hour cycle, every 5am & 5pm PST. What time did they post in Moscow? our 5am PST corresponds with 3pm Moscow.

Try using a time converter tool like this one to convert PST to your local timezone!
PST is the timezone for Los Angeles, which might be needed when using the tool.
i just checked, and 9 pm EST is 2 am on my side of the world.
while i am sometimes awake at that time, i'm usually sort of incoherent and giggly by then. let me know if you ever happen to record earlier, i'd love to take part.
A couple of links that might help our international community get together across timezones:
A Coordinated Universal Timezone Map (UTC): Might be handy for people like me that maybe aren't sure which UTC they live in.
A Time Coordinator: A nifty device to align the time zones for everyone in a group. It (strangely) doesn't recognize any UTC except UTC 0, but the same information can be put in as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) which is the effectively the same (e.g. UTC +2 = GMT +2, UTC -4 = GMT -4, etc.)
I like to play Payday 2, Borderlands 2 & TPS, and, well take a look at my games at my Steam profile.
Here's a handy link to know when the meeting is happening (not sure about the ending time, though). Less than 7 hours from now!
>EST to EDT converter
first result is https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/est-to-edt-converter
which indeed shows the same time - but notice that it lists EDT twice, because it auto corrects from EST and says "corrected from EST" underneath.
second result is: https://savvytime.com/converter/est-to-edt
which does the same thing (lists EDT twice and notes that it converted EST to EDT automatically)
Well when I googled it, Google just gave the answer (it does the same when you ask about currency conversions or similar things).
However the first search result was this which could help:
When I want to know what time it is I use World Time Buddy: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
You can select a Home Timezone and multiple other timezones. It's nice to see the different times, but also dates and day/night. You can also select timeblocks. I use this to check what times are good to call to the USA as an European by selecting 9:00-17:00 CEST time.

Thank you for the feedback.
FFBE notice items' timing follows PST and adjusts for PDT when PDT is in effect (this behaviour matches LA timezone DST jurisdiction). The Server Time as shown in the notice board is always in PST.
Google Calendar stores calendar event time as UTC (link to Calendar Help article), which your calendar software uses to convert to the timezone as set for your calendar software. How the calendar will display on your device or software depends entirely on your own settings for the device or software; I have no control over that choice.

To demonstrate, let's refer to the conversion table between LA time, PST, PDT, and UTC on www.worldtimebuddy.com ("WTB").
If you would open the Vault of Hidden Treasures ("VoHT") calendar item for this coming weekend and observe the exact timing, it is still the same as it were before the DST changes. Note the following:
If you add your local, device or software timezone to the WTB example, you should see that the event still begin and end at the same time in your respective time zone.
It's their right to announce in EST. An EU company would announce to CET. An US user would ask same way like u then. That shouldnt surprise. So accept EST and https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/cet-to-est-converter

If you, for some reason, can't find the times in UTC/GMT (or whatever time zone you prefer, really), you can always go to https://www.worldtimebuddy.com. It's a handy little site who has helped me countless times on situations like this.
This post says the last 2 hatchus expired at 5pm GMT-7, which would indeed be midnight GMT.
We realize that it can be inconvenient to not list all time zones, but in an effort to keep things simple we list the zone the studio is located in.

For the sake of knowing in the future, CE(S)T is 6 hours ahead, save for a short period of time when the summer/standard times switch out of sync.

Also, worldtimebuddy.com is an excellent and safe, easy resource.
It's 7 PM Mountain Time, which translates to 9 PM Eastern.

I just double checked the time here:
a time converter for those who want to compare their timezone and pdt , just add pdt in the "place or timezone" box.
https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
edit: don't forget to scroll to the July 6, Thursday part,
after you add pdt to the box, you should scroll to this part circled in blue , click the arrow and then click the number 19
edit2: the sidebar also works, just look for the hct spring championship time , use that.
Depends where in EU?
Use this: time zone converter tool.

Daylight Savings Time.
UTC is fixed and never changes - that current time in Chicago does change twice a year.
Right now you are UTC- 5 after Nov 7th you will be UTC -6 again. Not every country uses daylight savings and not everyone that uses it changes on the same dates.
I recommend the use of: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/

Hey u/lclarkenz, the AMA is at 08:00 BST (other timezones).

I'm also doing a talk on Kafka Connect, which will be at 07:00 - 07:45 BST :)
I've worked on multiple teams spread across the globe, and I agree that coordinating meeting schedules can be a bit tedious at times. I got in the habit of just using a timezone converter to help me decide on a time for meetings initially, then going ahead and just saying alternate times of two or three major cities that are near the majority of participants in meeting heading. Ex: "Team Strategy Meeting (9am Denver, 4pm London)" I don't make it an exhaustive list because I trust the participants to be able to convert +/- a few hours from the major city time to their local time.
As far as i'm aware, people don't actually put it gmt for activity time, its just their regional hour(in practice). As for conversion rates you can check this site for that kind of stuff, its pretty handy. Also its +7hours right now
This might help...all the time stamp represents is the UTC value, Coordinated Universal Time is an immutable global time used by computers so that everything agrees what the source of truth for time is. Time sync is REALLY important to computers.
This is important when your computers are in different parts of the world or not on the planet.
I'm Brisbane GMT +10 Assuming that's 5am and not 5pm, one would figure it out like this. So I go 5:00am + 6 hours (the timezone offset of 6 hours), which is 11am, but then +10, cause I'm GMT +10, so that works out to be 9pm for me.
If all else fails and you don't understand what I mean, you can always use a time/timezone converter here: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/
Sorry, I just saw this message. I still have a few more to breed and should be done in the next 2-3 hours. My timezone is GMT-7 and I'm usually available between 11AM-2AM. Hopefully we can find a time to trade :)
The event begins at 4:30 PM ET / 1:30 PM PT; if you need help finding out what that is in your time zone, then this tool should be useful. (Insert your location or time zone into the bracket, and you can use it to find out when your time matches up with the time of the presentation.
I'm going to bed now, and I'll need to order some of these things from my catalogue, so we can do the trade tomorrow. I'll be online from 3 pm to 10 pm (GMT+1) tomorrow if that suits you? I've got a timezone converter here
I've got the antique vanity, antique wardrobe, the book, the box corner sofa, cute DIY table, cute floor lamp and purple windflower (plantable!).
I don't have the DIYs for the following, but I can craft you as many as you want of: Aroma pot, Decoy duck, Deer decoration, flower stand, hyacinth lamp and mermaid wall clock.
I'm mostly looking for NMT, but I'm open to talking about it :D
I have the same issue, but there are several websites that help us convert the time! :) I would suggest this. They will be live at 12 pm pst time, so its 8pm in gmt. :)
The game will be down for another 2hrs in Australia. PST is easy to convert using a website like WorldTimeBuddy
I do wish they enabled blood/corpses in Australia though.. pretty dumb.
Doesn't make sense GMT -3 starting with Grass. What's going on the last hour? An empty space? If you are on the East, no matter where you are on East (before EDT), you begin at your 10am as Battle and ends with Grass at 8pm. But, if you start after EDT, so you must follow EDT schedule.
According to the picture below, GMT -3 starts before EDT and even PDT. For those who are behind EDT, event is still starting at 10am.
https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/?pl=1&lid=0,3448439,305,8&h=3448439
It says 12pm edt (Eastern Dailyight Time) Just look in the Link. Roughly 3Hrs from now. Germany would be 18:00. Just select your timezone.
Thats:
02:00 O'Clock (Friday) Londontime
03:00 Uhr (Freitag) Berlinerzeit
I'm absolutely interested! i uh already responded to the DM but like just in case I'm gonna put it here too, I'm UTC-5. this is the site i use for calculating times and stuff!
Heres a link to a time zone converter from Japan Time to EST, it might be a bit confusing since EST is going to move back an hour but it's from 2 PM to 5 PM Japan Time, 1 AM to 3 AM in Eastern Time Zone
I should probably also mention, you need to have a Nintendo Switch to compete, you need to get 20 points (I just camped in storm and lived off of Fish), and you need to change your matchmaking region on your switch to Asia. There's also a chance that the cup tonight is going to be Duos, but if that's the case you can just have a 2nd account join your party and then let it get killed.

Clock says 9:10 PM Tuesday, and 6:10 AM Wednesday for EU...
So yours should be 12:10 PM now.
NPT starts at exactly 12 AM Tuesday, PDT (US)... which is 9 AM for EU (CEST) and yours should be 3 PM.
Here, I always use this for timezone comparisons.
Edit: COMPLETELY FORGOT about your questions, lol...
1: Okay... that seems really nice of you to think about studies first! My class is usually filled with people on their phones throughout school timings...
2: Uhh... I have no say on the matter. Skip!
3: Best time to post would be 3 PM+ for you... if you wanna be early for NPT. As for when everyone else in US and EU is awake? Hmm... I think maybe at 9 PM Tuesday - 4 AM Wednesday for consistency with US and EU, and 12 PM Wednesday for on the low end.

Thank you I appreciate the help!
The past events have usually been somewhere around 12pm for me (mountain time) so this converter is showing me about 7pm for you. HYPE
It resets at 00:00 UTC.
You can compare your time zone to UTC here.
You will get a daily at that time and the shrine will reset for you at that same time on Wednesdays 00:00 UTC. (It might not be a Wednesday for you. It could be a Tuesday depending on your time zone)
Oh nice! My timezone is PDT, these days I'm also available most of the day but it's most probable that you'll find me from 6pm to 12am :]
Best wishes to you for a wonderful holiday! :D
Hello! I have an egg that matches your TSV, can you hatch it for me?

Taemin hitting us left and right with all these documentaries and behind the scenes stuff. So yeah, this is the link to the Line Live where the video will air in about 20 hours, and you can use a website like Worldtimebuddy to see what time it will air in your area. It will most likely be all Japanese with no real time subtitles though you will get to see Taemin be adorable and possible Onew and Jonghyun as well.
>It's been decided that a close/full-coverage documentary - through which we closed in on Taemin - will be broadcast on Line Live
>From his thoughts/expectations/ambitions on his Japanese solo debut to his second mini album Flame of Love, his first solo stage Nippon Budokan, and his dreams for the future, will be aired along with the interviews and footage covered over a few days.
>The music video and [album] music video shooting sketch have been shared before but revealing the behind the scenes and off shots have been uncommon, so it will be rare footage. Stay Tuned.

I'd be more than happy to help, I'll be nearby for ~3 more hours and checking tomorrow (after 5pm^GMT-4) and Wednesday's Daily threads too if we don't manage to meet up!
I can confirm that it works for me (europe). I opened the US and JP demos on my EU account and it converted the time correctly. For example: The Direct sayed US splatfest is 3-7pm (pt) on 15th. According to https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ it ends 4am on 16th for my timezone. And the ingame time says the same.
Hello! Would you be able to hatch an egg for me, please? My info:
Thanks in advance!
Everyone is saying in more than 24 hours...but 9am, Mon in Germany is 2am Mon central, which means technically tonight: https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/?qm=1&lid=2950159,4887398,5128581,5368361&h=2950159&date=2017-6-12&sln=9-10
Edit: I think I'm wrong, 9 am Tues, which does in fact give us another day
I presume you've hit the hay. Apologies for not checking Reddit sooner! Would 2pm-6pm BST this weekend work for you? That's 9am-1pm for me. I work afternoons and evenings Saturday / Sunday.
Since the clothes worn only update when both parties are online in the plaza we can go about this in 2 ways:
Hi! I have an egg matching your TSV. Could you help me hatch it?
Sorry I had to leave an hour earlier due to staffing confusion at work. My apologies for leaving you hanging! Though I won't be back till 3:30am CEST, I have tomorrow off. So shoot me a message anytime after 3pm CEST Monday and I'll pop into the plaza!
Boooo it turns out we have to be online simultaneously. If you would like to update the outfits today, I can be online from now to 7pm CEST. Otherwise I'll be back only at 3:30am CEST...
I'm in EDT / GMT-0400 and I'll get home roughly 5:30pm, which will be right before midnight for you. It sounds like you'll be available but if you feel tired or want to reschedule, I'm available on weekends between 3pm and 7pm your time.
I'm also on PST and you should be receiving your login rewards around 5pm PST now. If you're not, I would contact Warframe Support. The server reset is based on GMT time, and if you use https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/pst-to-gmt-converter you can see that 5PM our time is the next day for GMT.
For the event start itself; we're 3 hours behind DE. So if the date on that image is based on EST, and not whatever the timezone the PS4 is in, then the event would start for us at 8am on 3/24.
Hi there, may I semi-FFA claim this egg?
Online start | Offline start | (← EST) Day (PST →) | Online start | Offline start |
---|---|---|---|---|
~5:30pm | Midnight | Mon-Thu | ~2:30pm | 9pm |
~5:30pm | Flexible | Friday | ~2:30pm | Flexible |
Flexible | Flexible | Saturday | Flexible | Flexible |
Flexible | Midnight | Sunday | Flexible | 9pm |
The parts labeled "Flexible" are just what they sound like, though they are unfortunately also times when I may not be available because of potential weekend plans. Don't feel rushed to respond to this, I'm not in any hurry and I understand how hectic the first several days of a new giveaway can be.
Huh, no-one has mentioned https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ yet?
Didn't check if anything similiar has been mentioned, but Wordltimebuddy is really handy time zone "app".
At least as a gamer you often see maintenance times etc. being posted in different time zones. Sometimes in PDT, sometimes in CET, sometimes maybe both or something else like UTC. With this site it's so much faster to check what time that maintenance is in your time zone and maybe plan around it. Or if you try to arrange a time to play together with a friend from other side of the pond.
