After a villager moves out, or is in boxes in your case, you have to go through a sixteen villager cycle to be able to get the same villager again.
So you could have someone hold your villager for you, if they're willing to wait for you to cycle through sixteen villagers.
Here's some more info on the sixteen villager cycle if you're not really aware of what it is.

I good cat toy that will also stimulate and help their food intake is one of those feeder toys where it's a ball or cylinder full of food they throw and push around and food falls out slowly through a small hole for them.

As far as I know, all fish are available regardless of whether you're in your town or someone else's.

To get the best possible outcome (a piece of furniture), you need at least 3 pieces of clothing from the theme and you can only include one other theme's clothing (this theme cannot conflict, e.g. if the theme is rock 'n' roll, wearing a piece of official clothing is an auto-fail). Using this example, at least 3 pieces of rock 'n' roll and 2 pieces of another theme should get you highest marks from Gracie.
To pass in general (you only get clothing from Gracie), I think you only need two pieces of clothing from the theme (but you can't have more clothing from another theme than the number of pieces you have. e.g. if the theme is modern you will pass with 2 pieces of modern clothing and 2 pieces of sporty, but not if you have 2 pieces of modern and 3 pieces of sporty). This I'm not entirely sure about, however.
