My father had a friend who was part of a club--an actual club for these cars--and we bought one. We decorated it patriotic-style and put it in shows. I now have inherited it. It fails to shut down after 14 years. I am content with it.

EDIT: Yeah, PT Cruiser clubs are a thing. Unfortunately I don't have a picture on hand, but I have to say that the pictures you all have provided kick my little Cruiser's butt right out of the water. The only cool thing we had going for us aside from stars-and-stripes decals, American flag attachments and hood cover was the airbrushed engine of the Saint Louis Skyline and Super-America Eagle. One decal has since been peeled off. Sooooo yeah. I suppose if you all really want to see the only thing worth seeing--the engine--I could probably snap a shot tomorrow morning.

Well the situation was really funny, I bursted out in laughter when it happened but I wasn't trying to "disrespect". I was trying out the new Kassadin in a normal game, I thought I was dead so I gave up and started laughing, then I realized my ult was really low cooldown so I tried leaving. There was no way I was getting out of that alive anyways. Me and the others were just trying to have some fun.

Hi, I work in this industry as a research director, let me tell you why GM crops are stupid and bad.
For the past 50 years, due to slower more indirect forms of GM (Selective breeding) food quality per quantity has DECLINED.
One of our favorite GM crops, which has Bacillus thuringiensis toxin capability, is now being beaten by insects which have developed immunity.
GM crops tend to require MORE water than their natural counterparts. This comes from breeding in controlled conditions, the plants get used to a steady water supply and lose drought resistance (ask the farmers in India with failing GM rice crops due to the lack of water which normal rice would use just fine.)
GM crops pollute the environment and contaminate native landrace species, and also other farmer's fields. No 'terminator' gene is going to stop this - life finds a way around this, always has, always will.
GM foods have zero real potential, minus those crops producing medical necessities, like insulin-producing plants.
The real potential is newer agricultural techniques, such as vertical farming.

I was born with a pigmentation disorder called Congenital Melanocytic Nevus. It happens in less than 1% of births and the cause is still unknown. It is not in any way genetic. In short it just means that I was born with my skin pigment distributed in patches (like birthmarks) rather than evenly spread through my skin. I have over 1000! They are not contagious, nor do they hurt. They also do not change, move, appear, or disappear.
I got this tattoo as my first large piece back in 2013. The artist freehanded the leopard spots around my birthmarks and only used black ink. All of the brown is my pigmentation, not ink. It was my first step in truly accepting and embracing my differences and has melted away my insecurities about CMN.
This is a pretty outdated picture. Haha yes, that is my son in the background. I had gotten this tattoo a week or so prior to this photo and happened to be hanging out in the bathroom with him during bathtime. I figured I'd snap a 'selfie' and show off the new tattoo! In hindsight, I guess I'm gonna have to apologize for a viral bath picture... Sorry Mason!

It was really simple
- Take a full can of soda
- Turn it upside down and lay it on concrete or a driveway, etc.
- Carefully applying pressure evenly with your hands to get a good grip on the top and bottom grind the top of the lid against the ground back and forth
- Once you get your first hole or puncture soda will start shooting. Remain calm! Just shoot some friends or kids or something until it drains.
- Keep grinding until lid pops off
- Drop in your stuff
- Put lid back on!
edit: Step 3 clarification - Grinding/Rubbing/Sliding the can face down against the concrete moving it side by side or forward and backward with quite a bit of pressure.

I was just at the park this past Friday, and every car coming into the Mickey & Friends Parking Structure was being given a sheet describing the ban in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese. I play on the Ionia Chinese Server, and I usually get 150ms from Shanghai. Tencent, however, has outsourced their client to a 3rd party called "TGP" which provides a shit load of features that NA/EU would kill to have. For example, the client first warns me if I have high ping (The toolbar on the buttom is the 3rd party program, which Tencent supports). Then I can click a button to select my server, and then I can magically get 37ms (I don't know how it works since I can't read Chinese and Unicode is fucked up on my computer).
There is also an inclient-streaming feature, where you can watch live lpl matches. You can also click on each player's portrait below to view the match from their perspective I believe (Haven't gotten around to figuring how to do that yet since I watch the matches from the tga site, where you are allowed to view specific perspectives). There is also an inclient voice feature (kind of like skype), and it allows you to send offline friends messages. I'm pretty sure there is a replay feature buried somewhere in here, but I'm still messing around with it. The Chinese client is miles ahead of the crappy NA east coast client I have to use back home, and I'm not sure if I can go back haha... But seriously, if Riot is not willing to put work into their servers and client, they should at least outsource it to a company that will.

I don't know if this will really help, but I use bobby pins and pin them behind the braid. It works really well for me, I'll record a quick video of me braiding my bangs and pinning a loose strand. My hair is shorter than yours, if you're meaning hair beyond the shoulders that is poking out I found that a tiny spray of hair spray on my hand and patting down the braid helped keep hair intact longer.

It depends on the type of resource and how many vils you are putting on.
For example, forests you will be chopping at for quite a while, so long term placing the camp adjacent is more efficient, but 1 tile away would be better for that single line of trees only.
Gold mines on the other hand take ages to mine and there will be 2-3 vils per tile of gold, so it's better to have the gap so they work more efficiently.
Berries it can vary, as there's normally only 4-5 vils on them being adjacent can be good as there is a lot less bumping then other resources, but sometimes the shape of the bush is better suited to having a gap. See here

Use something L shaped with a net at the end (net opening should be away from you). This will be able to overcome the problem of not being able to stick something long into the hole.
Stick the first straight part in, then turn it 90 degrees so you can stick the rest in. Then, scoop the kitten, up and outwards. You can then reverse the process, and the kitten will be in the net by the opening and you can grab it.

It's because the FIA rules state the green flag includes being clear of all objects including marshals. However the furthest marshal who is in blue is still at the original crash site the whole time till the accident occurs, he is pulling out carbon from the tire wall. In the video he is obscured by the tractor and car for a period, but is clearly still there in later shots. For this reason if there was a reason for those flags to have been originally double yellow, then with him there it can not become green again. At least it would still have had to been a single yellow until he was gone.

I've seen an all gold 49er jersey. They made them for the probowl or some other special event a long time ago. Saw some lady wearing it during a game at candle stick. It did not look good at all with our shade of gold. Trust me head to told gold would be atrocious.

I looked at this a good ten times before I realized that it looks an awful lot like Caleb's dad's (Uncle Jamie's) barn. In 3x19 he's doing some work on it so he could have fixed it up like this. Here's a screencap from that episode. I realize it's a bit blurry, so excuse me for that. The material of the building looks identical to me as do the placement of the doors, both the main one and that weird one up toward the roof. And from what I can see it looks as if there is a light near the peak that looks very similar to the one in Mar's insta picture.
I made a thread about this before, and I don't mean it in a mean way, but the method was made by my friend (wouldn't be surprised if multiple people have discovered it independently) and his current record is 85 turns, with Fox I believe, but he's also gotten to 83 with Palutena.

I've been lurking too long, and finally got myself to post here. I'm the everything-except-sound guy in a team of two developing a game using LWJGL that can be described as Minecraft meets Asteroids. It's a top down action game where you create spacecrafts by putting together pieces of blocks with different properties. To build blocks you need resources that are mined from asteroids.
The game has been in development for a bit over a year now, and we're making progress. I will try to fit the pattern of this post by posting some screenshots that gives an idea of what the game is like, including what I have been working on the last week.
Keep in mind that everything is extremely WIP, but I do of course value your input on every aspect! :)
First a screenshot of how you create a spacecraft. When creating a ship you get an "analyze view" that shows all of the blocks containing in the ship.
Second, a small skirmish with two ships in (unfair) combat. You can only see the outer hull when not controlling the ship (or is hostile):
Finally, a screenshot of my WIP crepuscular shader (god rays). I know it is crazy atm, tweaking the parameters as we speak.

I guess this really pissed me off so, I did some research and here is what I found

On a typical game, the house edge is around .5%. This means that you have a disadvantage of half of one percent. With Hi-Lo, the edge goes up about .5% per true count. So the player is breaking even right at a true 1. Then the player has a .5% advantage at a true 2, a 1% advantage at a true 3, etc. It doesn't go up forever, but you get the idea.
You have to also account for the frequency of each count. You get about 25 positive hands per hour, and 75 disadvantage hands per hour (which is why you have to bet much more in positive counts to make up for what is lost below a true 1).
If you use a 1-10 bet spread, on a standard game, you could expect to make about 1% of your average bet, hence the "1% edge" over the house.

TL;DR: The edge goes up .5% per true count, which gives your typical card counter a 1% advantage with proper bet spread.

I have one that is really into "rescuing" baby animals. He will bring in baby mice, birds, rabbits, you name it through the cat door and release it in my bedroom, completely unharmed. One time I awoke to this ominous thumping sound coming from the bathroom connected to my bedroom. So I creep in there with a baseball bat, and it's this little tiny wild rabbit, desperately flinging himself against the shower walls. I checked him for injuries, found none, and quickly released him back into the woods, because jack rabbits are very susceptible to death by heart event as a result of stress. That and the time two baby raccoons came in through our cat door after their mother unfortunately froze to death during a cold snap very uncharacteristic of NW Florida, were the most exciting home invaders we ever had. Exit testing area and went left onto Walkley (travelling onto the median) 4. Drive towards airport parkway going south (turning left onto parkway from Walkley). Exit at Hunt Club (right turn). 5. I was told to make a right onto Uplands and did the residential zone there. Did a roadside stop. 6. Came back out and got back onto Airport Parkway. (Left onto parkway from Hunt Club). 7. Drove back down Walkley towards test centre.
