John Lott is the author of a few very interesting reads such as The War on Guns: Arming Yourself Against Gun Control Lies and More Guns, Less Crime: Understanding Crime and Gun Control Laws, Third Edition (Studies in Law and Economics)
I can't find "small arms", "gun" or "firearm" anywhere in the text of the leaked/draft TPP … and this isn't a UN-related treaty, but a multi-lateral treaty. What "UN Gun Control" is being referred to, here?
Its a small world. I got that complaint off of Pacer and uploaded it to scribd to post to nyfirearms.com. Don't know if the author found my post there or found the complaint on google.
Might as well paste my comment here:
Just finished reading the complaint.

I'm speechless.
This guy had his privacy violated, falsely declared mentally deficient with no due process or notification, his permit and property seized with no due process or notification and he has no practical relief under the law. How anyone thought this law is even remotely constitutional is beyond me.
For anyone interested, its an easy read, easy to understand legalese. You might however want to get an appointment with your dentist before you start, because if you're like me, you're going to be grinding your teeth in rage by page 10.
You are correct., but since all the animals in the hundred acre woods are stuffed, their weapons would be toys right?
>Americans are so paranoid of basically everything these days
Yes, because Europe on the other hand is

Where nobody should be paranoid...
I am currently reading Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America and one of the examples given was how the KKK started by taking guns away from Black freedman after the civil war in order to not allow Black Freedman the possibility of owning a gun and fighting against the atrocities from the KKK and the like
It sounds like you did everything right.
The only other suggestion would be to block the door, but that would be really difficult in a bathroom. Not much movable furniture.
Chris Bird's book Surviving an Active Killer Rampage makes the distinction between protectors and hunters in the context of school shootings. He suggests (along with the pros that are actually training teachers to carry in the classroom) that most teachers act as protectors, that is, armed members bunkering down in the classroom. Hunters would be those who don't have a responsibility to a set class of students. They would be the RO's or the maintenance guy. They're the ones that are supposed to move towards the sound of gunfire.
I think most people should be the protectors if they are ever in this situation.
I'm really glad you are ok.
They weren't coerced. They're both actual members of Brady. Like high up. Lonnie is an Operations Manager and Sandy is a Campaign Manager. They both did work with Brady before the daughter died and got high-level positions before the smoke cleared. They're not victims of anybody's manipulations, they're true believers. Misguided, delusional, politically motivated freedom-terrorists.
You could also own privateer vessels and don't forget that the NYT owned several gatling guns and was willing to use them to shoot rioters:
"At Newspaper Row, across from City Hall, Henry Raymond, owner and editor of The New York Times, averted the rioters with Gatling guns, one of which he manned"
It's this type of attitude that will lead us all to losing our rights.
"First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me."
It's a little toy potato pistol. You stab the tip into a potato or similar to break off a chunk of tater, then squeeze the grip to shoot it like 10-15 feet.
Compliance with MD law is contingent on applying. Actual authorization from the ATF doesn’t matter. They’ll probably send a response saying they have nothing to do with MD law,, which is true other than our state trying to compel a federal agency how to act.
The extent to what devices they are is unknown because of how vaguely statute was written and passed into law.

For all those on the left I have the "Perfect" book for you, it's #1 in the Political Ideologies section of Amazon! Why Socialism Works
Yeah, well, the latest anti-gun ploy is to count any shooting of 4 or more people. By that metric, indeed, there have been hundreds of "mass shootings".
However, it's biting them in the ass.
Because when you start looking at those mass shootings, it paints a rather disturbing picture.
75% of victims are black. 90% of the shootings happen in zip codes where poverty is above average. 1/3rd of them are gang-related, and an additional 1/3rd are drug-related.
So what are we looking at here with most of these 358 "mass shootings?"
Black urban crime.
Ideally we would have stayed Neutral during ww1 and mirrored our military like the Swiss's militia system. Iran is a problem because the CIA & British fooled around with Iran which blew up in their faces. We still feel the repercussions of their mess up yet the organizations who caused the mess in the first place say that things will be different this time.
It is an airsoft pistol.
That smear you see infront of the chamber is a warning sticker.
Also, if you look at the rear, you can faintly make out a fake hammer, as seen on this site. (This site has the warning sticker removed in their pictures.)
It also looks like the plastic broke above the trigger, and also broke off the fake slide catch. Probably from being dropped.
If it was real, it wouldn't have parts of the frame broken. At least, it would be highly unlikely from an M&P.
Want to have a real understanding of the history of banning firearms in Great Britain and the impact of those laws, read Guns and Violence: The English Experience
You will be armed with some real knowledge from a very well respected expert. You will be much better armed to debate those who believe that America should follow the U.K. Lead on firearm restrictions.
> I wonder what would happen if people put the money they might spend on this into anti-bullying camlaigns and mental health resources in their local area instead.
But this isn't really an option, is it?
Also, I know it's a popular meme, but I'm not sure that "mental health" is as common a trait as we believe it is for these kinds of killers. It's a plausible story we tell ourselves, but do the data support it? Made all the more difficult, I suppose, because the N is so small.
e:
a 2014 study found that 17% of school shooters had a mental health diagnosis.
a 2009 study suggests a link between shooters and substance abuse (21.4%), noting that only 11% of shooters had mental illness such as Bi-Polar or Depression.
I'm not claiming these studies as authoritative, and doing simple "research" (e.g. search engine results) on the subject is insanely difficult, as nearly every result is riddled with bias.
I'm only challenging the popular narritave of it being (entirely) a mental health issue.
I purchased Howard Leigh hearing protection from amazon and love it. I've had it for a year and have no complaints. Plus its only $40!
Yeah, coupled with the username and the backward sights this does seem the most likely circumstance.

I didn't know adding names of gun owners to an obscure database is something an aggrieved father does.
Looks like it's real to me.
If you have an Ohio permit, you can carry a handgun loaded in your car. However, in Ohio you must inform an officer you have a handgun on you upon contact, you can’t wait till they ask. If you have a permit from any other state you’re good to go, Ohio automatically recognizes it. If you don’t have a permit your handgun must be unloaded and in plain view with actions open or enclosed in cases.
This is according to this book. I highly recommend.
OP's asking about scope mounting so a Harbor Freight (or any other) torque wrench isn't actually what they're after.
/u/Thywillbepew you want Wheeler FAT Wrench as it's less a "wrench" and more a nut-driver that works with the bits you use for scope rings.
I don't know about anti but certainly fudd.
Anti-NRA sentiment is not unique among the firearm community. I'll rail against the NRA to anyone willing to listen.
That said, they are right-ish when pointing out that some states outlaw the AR-15 for use in hunting but not for the reasons they're implying. In some places the 5.56/.223 has been deemed unsuitable for killing certain types of game as it may not provide a humane kill. Other states don't allow you to hunt with firearms that have magazines with a capacity greater than X and X is usually less than an AR-15 (Oregon, for instance, doesn't allow hunting deer with anything that can accept more than 10 rounds, IIRC).
They're also on the same street as right with regards to injuries created by the rounds. One of the benefits of the 5.56 that was cited during the kerfluffle during the adoption process when you had the M16 competing with the (then called) T44 was that the round had a tendency to yaw once it entered a person and cause larger wounds as opposed to the 7.62x39 rounds which tended to just punch holes through people.
It wasn't specifically designed with that in mind but there was a definite "Oh hey!" moment.
If you want to read more about it, Alexander Rose's American Rifle: A Biography goes into pretty exhaustive detail.
We don't get our info from Wikipedia. The core of the history we tell is from Paul Revere's Ride by David Hackett Fischer. And that book is like 50% references.
> Williams' attorney, Jonathan E. Lowy, who is a litigator with the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence
Again, guys?
This is (at least) the fourth time the Brady Center has tried this. They've failed every time, and they have a habit of leaving the plaintiffs they con into these lawsuits holding the bag for legal fees.
Lowy in particular needs to be censured for bringing nuisance suits that buck a very clear federal statute.
Better than that, get a raspberry pi and run Pi-Hole on it. Plug it into your router, go to it's ip address and set it up(very little to it, easy). Now you have ad blocking that actually works across your entire network.
I think gunpowder's the only part that would be difficult to find, actually, unless making your own from scratch is easier than what I envision.
Edit: I take that back.
Edit2: A surprisingly good summary of the history of gun propellants.
An interesting attempt to do something different using relatively accessible workshop tools. The rifling button used here produces sharp lands and grooves when shot one way, and shallower angled surfaces that engage the bullet when shot through the reverse direction of the barrel. The shallower engagement surface being something of an approximation of polygonal rifling.
TheIdahoanShow's 'Utah Pistol' and barrels are quite low tech, but the shooting performance is often surprisingly good. This particular attempt didn't yield any notably improved or reduced performance vs the traditional button cut, but nonetheless it's a really good effort if you're nerdy enough to be interested by this type of experimentation.
For those that prefer an alternative video host, the same video is also on UGETube and DTube
Agreed on all your observations, there are absolutely ongoing — and very credible — efforts to turn back the tide. And anything can happen, so really we have to think in bets instead of absolutes. The thing that should make you take heart is the trends. Instead of a snapshot in time, look at the trendline. The CCW trendline over the past 30 years has been sharply up and to the right. An AWB went from being a thing that actually passed as federal law, to being a thing that they're scrapping for in a small handful of states and doesn't have a ghost of a chance at the federal level. The Heller ruling came down, and is very likely going to be given a lot more force with some new rulings in the next 1-2 years. The AR's installed base went up 30x.
So extrapolate those trends. There are definitely problems, and there will always be some, but gun rights are a lot healthier in 2019 than they were 20-30 years ago. A counter could be that they were healthier still back pre-NFA, but it really wasn't the same kind of issue back then. Gun rights hadn't been tested. The first two times they were tested, with the NFA of 1934 and the GCA of 1968, they lost. And lost again in 1994. So I'd argue that gun rights seemed healthy back in the day, but just hadn't met a threat. Today is the first era in which gun rights in the US can actually withstand an organized attack on them. So — and I know this is going to sound crazy — in that narrow sense they're stronger than ever. But the work is far from over. It's on us to keep building the culture and bringing new people into the fold.
The left did the same with Bush. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=George+Bush+Monkey&FORM=RESTAB
I agree that there is racism that is used by a minority of the people, that is their driving reason for not liking the President. Is Obama's stance on the second amendment a deal breaker for you, even if you agree with the rest of his policies.
According to this handy chart it looks like SCOTUS actually distributed 10 Second Amendment cases for the Friday May 1 2020 conference.
It's not just happening to gun channels though.
A lot of channels are getting demonetized and getting strikes. Some chemistry channels (because learning about science is bad I guess), political commentary channels (both right and left), gaming channels (!?), which is weird because Youtube has it's own live stream gaming thing now...
It seems to me like they want to get rid of all the "amateurs" and become more of a "real" television "network" or provider.
I mean the writing is sort of on the wall with https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/start/ and https://www.youtube.com/red complete with "YouTube Red Originals".
I think they have aspirations of becoming the next Netflix or something.
Definitely not. Just get like NordVPN, 5 devices for 2 years of protection is like $40, and you can find discount codes all over the places. I got 3 years and 3 months for $36 on 5 devices with someones discount code like a year ago
She writes science/fantasy and is getting ready to publish the second book in her series this year. (She has the third written and is in early editing, and she is debating on where to go for the fourth) The best part is it would be perfect bait for these protesters. A woman owned independent publisher, a woman author, and a woman lead character. Link to Amazon
I don't know what the women's marches and this upcoming "strike" are supposed to accomplish either outside of piss people off and cause a lot of damage to people just trying to go about their day.
Amazon makes it even easier, check the suggested "buy together" on this page link
Not illegal, per se, but would be considered brandishing in most jurisdictions because it is attached to a firearm.
Weapon lights are for target identification. Hand held lights are for searching. Spend the $41 on Amazon to get a decent Streamlight.
Cool. If you ever decide to carry that way, look for something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/1791-GUNLEATHER-1911-Holster-Available/dp/B07N1S1J3J
I can't say if this holster is any good or not, but it illustrates how a holster would address the concerns I mentioned.
Use iSpyConnect with the old phone running IPWebcam
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam&hl=en
Set up motion detection to alert your phone, and make the videos save to a google drive/dropbox folder on your PC, that way they are uploaded to the cloud and can then be reviewed on your phone. I recommend a dedicated PC for this stuff.
Don't even need to make anything. Wal-Mart $9.95 + whatever the cost of a large filter.
Obviously, highly illegal, but if one is planning to use the gun in a way that requires suppressor, (s)he will probably not be deterred by it.
Not only that, but some .177 BB/pellet guns are ridiculously realistic. I could definitely see someone involved in a defensive shooting involving a kid pointing one of those at someone.
For example:
https://www.walmart.com/ip/4-CO2-Powered-BB-Revolver-Chrome/49758678
SlickDeals.net. It's characterized as a Destructive Device, though, so you're looking at a lot of paperwork and time, even beyond the $10k price point.
They do make them, usually in the legal office setting, where there is a need to punch a lot of paper. something like this
Pretty sure that’s a snap cap like this one.
Well, I guess I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of the government then...

Amazon still sells the anarchist cookbook as well.

Show them the Gadsden Pride flag and watch them have an aneurysm. It's even available on Amazon.
The definition of 'ordnance' just means 'weapons'. The term is mostly colloquial and is usually a shortening of the phrase 'heavy ordnance', a reference to heavy artillery. 'Ordnance' does not mean explosive, and isn't really a category of any specific armament.
I think you're meaning to call them 'area effect' weapons, along the lines of 'explosives'.
Gorgeous. I don't see the files anywhere yet, but I know Haveblue (the first guy to release a printed AR receiver) has tested a printed 10/22 stock as a rifle and had good results there as well.
It's probably this receiver with standard mail order add-ons applied.
You can get pre-rolled IFAKs on Amazon at whatever price-point you want. Supplement with another tourniquet, Israeli dressing, larger SAM splint or whatever.
It's a great idea to have a few around, as mentioned.
You have it backwards. The 1st Amendment protects a fundamental human right of self-expression. If you wish to supress that fundamental human right, you much overcome a VERY large hurdle of extraordinary justification.
Libel is a narrow exception to free expression that, under the extraordinary circumstance that the information is false and is intentionally published with the intent to cause harm, only then can the speech be made unlawful.
So we have here a desire for prior restraint on the publication of true and accurate and already publicly available information on how to conduct perfectly legal activity. How can that possibly be justified?
Despite providing instructions for legal and illegal activity, you can right now go purchase a copy of The Anarchist's Cookbook on Amazon.
I get what everyone is saying about the hosting of codeisfreespeech.com and all, but this is still something you can purchase on Amazon...
Honestly I made this first one up as I went along. I did a version of this weave http://www.instructables.com/id/Woven-paracord-braceletwatchband/step4/Begin-weaving/ to make it work for my application. Theres gonna be some trial and error until you get it just how you want it.

That would be pretty awesome! Not the OP, but a generalized explanation:
You just need a solenoid (such as this one), and a way to generate a square wave supply to power it from.
You can use a simple 555 timer IC to drive a relay, or purchase a PWM generator or oscillator with an output that will drive the solenoid (like this).
Then you tie the enable pin on the oscillator to a switch on the trigger, and determine how to tie that switch into the particular controller as well. This will probably involve soldering a small relay across the button on the controller, and energizing the relay with the trigger switch.
When you press the switch the oscillator starts outputting a pulsed power supply to the solenoid, and the relay simulates a button press on the controller.
Take a look at this, I used this in the past for everything from 1911 mags to AR mags before I upgraded my safe to hold everything.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W5BM2FN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_0MhfFbSRVKR2X
There is also a similar type that does not have the grid precut if you want to layer it and cut it differently.
Just to note, eventually I got so many mags that all I needed to do was put a tiny piece in to keep them from rattling in the can while driving.
A Glock has no manual safety.
As such, it should ALWAYS be in a holster/trigger covered.
They make trigger covers specifically for this sort of thing.
You have to look at the realities of it: Unless you live in a total shithole, are on someone's shit list, and have a shitty doors and windows that someone can just kick open in one shot, the likelihood of jou needed to grab your gun so fast you don't have time to pull off a holster is pretty slim. You should spend as much time fortifying your doors and windows as you do on your gun, ammo and training.

The problem with this argument is that even completely normal people do not always behave rationally. For example, see "Predictably Irrational" by Dan Ariely.
That said, gun crimes in Russia are very rare, despite the fact that many more legal guns are now in the hands of civilians compared to, say, 20 years ago. Back then it was very difficult for a civilian to own a gun, yet gangs duked it out on the street with stolen AK-74s.
One rising problem is civilians using legal and popular less-than-lethal weapons unjustifiably, often maiming or even killing people.
Promo triple15
For 20-50 you're bearly busting out of the knockoff junk category that doesn't hold 0.
Think NY, NJ, CA, and MA might have an issue with it. Better to just go with a flare gun ($49 Walmart). Those are not restricted in any states.
Here is a Defcon 17 video about this.
Sandy Phillips is the campaign manager for the Brady Center, and Lonnie Phillips is the operations manager.
If anyone left them hanging in the wind, it was their employer, who duped them into this frivolous lawsuit.
Holy crap! Come a long way since the BB guns that I was aware of as a kid. I think in the case of what you showed, the massive stamp on the side is a give away in a picture- however, in real life that would be tough to catch too.
This one I think would be indistinguishable;

The best way is to buy Raspberry PI and install pi-hole: https://pi-hole.net/
Then use Firefox with Ublock Origin for additional measures.
Reminded me I need to dump Chrome browsers across my devices.

Nope, I have my own ballin' ass anglefire home page with http://www.dogpile.com/ built in! So 1337!!
But seriously, Bing is better than google for images. If you don't believe me compare the two side by side.
>OR we could just say fuck it and let all the stupid people kill them selves off by not regulating anything. I’m for the latter.
Jeff Cooper (RIP) agrees:

>“The consensus is that no more than five to ten people in a hundred who die by gunfire in Los Angeles are any loss to society. These people fight small wars amongst themselves. It would seem a valid social service to keep them well-supplied with ammunition.”
> Yeah, I’ve been looking into some sort of night sights.
Indeed, and IMHO the only ones really worth it for the Glock are the Trijicon night sights for Glock with a colored front. They make both an "XR" and normal one, with the "XR" being a slimmer blade up front which is supposedly about accuracy or something, but is total vanity. A red dot is going to run you $200-$300, and either getting your side cut or buying a new after market slide will run you $150-$200.
Lots of people consider their Glock 19 as "the last gun I'd ever sell" and you'll soon learn why.
Yea, the Trijicon's are on my list, kind of pricey though. Feels weird putting one on a rifle of less actual cost.
I saw a few of them similar to that Pinty whatever... such as this:
But thats....uh, gonna break, quick, I bet.
Go to your local sporting good store or fishing store and find something called Hot Sauce. It's a lubricant for salt water reels to help reduce corrosion. I had a similar problem with my Kimber about 10 years ago. I used #0000 steel wool and Hopps 9 to get ride if the rust. Then placed a light layer of Hot Sauce on the barrel. I use it to this day after every cleaning and never had an issue since.
I found some on Amazon too. Mine came Ina small bottle but I think it was for more. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YFFDGW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_3FJ35S7WP4X9ECCC3FXA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use one of these in my safe. Eva-Dry Wireless Mini Dehumidifier, White (E-333) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000H0XFCS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WF2KZTY175WKFYQWJDTR. Who knows how effective it is but the silica inside does turn green and then turns orange again after being plugged in for a bit.
Or if you have a heater hole those work too.
It was a gift, I honestly don’t know. But I think it was called “the bear claw” (4-Pack) Telescoping Back Scratcher , LEMENG Portable Extendable Telescopic Bear Claws Metal Back Scratchers - Hand Massager Backslap with Rubber Handles https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L6Y0U30/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_UN32FbHBRZJJ1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this isn’t the one I have exactly but i couldn’t see it being too different. It’s fuckin dope
Just got one from Amazon, Just the bayonet, not the Glock ;) https://www.amazon.com/Firefield-FF77000-Pistol-Knife-Bayonet/dp/B00K0TOF70
Great conversation piece. Also good for hand-to-hand, after you miss your attacker eighteen times, and you are both wandering around deaf, trying to see through the gun smoke.
Fieldsport micro red dot on Amazon. Hard to find anything better for $20.
https://www.amazon.com/FieldSport-Micro-Sight-Precision-Green/dp/B00Y3SZEJC
Check out the videos on YouTube. I've only had mine for a few months but thus far I couldn't be happier.
I highly recommend finding a junky one on amazon for cheap (something like this ). It probably won’t last long, might not keep it’s zero for long, but it will help you get the feel for it. And, to be fair, my cheap one was great. Not as durable as I wanted (the circuit board is exposed), but worked perfectly even in the rain (in fact, mine still works, so maybe it’s more durable than it looks?).
When the battery died I decided it was worth upgrading and got a Vortex for about $200. I love it. Works great, has an auto-off feature (turns itself off after 12 hrs I think) and I’ve yet to replace the battery.
On the other hand, my buddy has used my red dot (the vortex) and still prefers iron sights on his. Another buddy prefers the scope on his. Definitely preference, which is why I recommend a cheap red dot to test (MBUS as backup). For basic “range shooting” who cares if it breaks, or fails? Switch to the backups and keep shooting. If you start missing the red dot, get a more durable one. If not, you’re only out $20.
I’d rate the options I’ve tried in this order: eotech, vortex, cheap red dot, mbus, standard irons, scope (I like scopes, but not for how I use an AR: 100-300m).
I use BitTorrent. Once you download it go to File > Add Torrent from URL. Paste the link that u/Random_Name01 posted, then click OK.
Edit: If you're going to use a VPN, I recommend either TunnelBear or ProtonVPN if you're looking for anonymity on a budget.
Depending on what you’re interesting in downloading, you might also consider a vpn provider. They’re cheap and can provide a nice level of privacy and anonymity. My recommendation is Private Internet Access. You can pay using gift cards, bitcoin, etc. Your isp can and does log absolutely everything you do on the internet and have no qualms handing over such information to the authorities upon their request.
For a torrent client, check out Transmission-qt. It’s super light weight, no bullshit ads/malware/etc.
> This reminds me of Steve Wozniak. He likes to buy uncut sheets of $2 bills. Then he takes them to a printing company that perforates them and cuts them into notepad sized strips. He gets a kick out of tearing bills from the notepad to pay for everyday things. All this is totally legal, but it's also totally strange and because of that Woz has had the cops called on him several times and even been interviewed by the Secret Service a couple times.
I just looked this up because I had never heard of it. According to this video interview, he's not buying "uncut sheets of $2 bills." He's literally printing his own money and spending it. As in he has a fancy printer in his house, he prints the money, and then spends it as 'legal' tender.
As to your other points, I live in a state that on the Department of Public Safety "dot gov" website says:
This State does not expand upon Federal firearms laws for ownership or possession of firearms.
So we have no registration, don't require an FFL for private transfers, etc. I can make up my own serial number and it'll be fine.
That said, does the Arizona V. Hicks case not apply to you in your state? My LEO buddy said that he can't run the serial number because he's taking someone's gun for "officer safety" and therefore running the serial would be unreasonable search and seizure; it would be a warrantless search for an officer to run the serial.
Check THIS out. It is a step smaller than the safe I have but still big enough for what you have planned.
IMO it is good for the value. It is about the same size as the large pro vault and roughly 50 lbs heavier, indicating somewhat comparable security. Plus free delivery.
Also plan big, your safe always gets full a lot faster than you figure. I wish i'd spend the extra $500 on a bigger safe because now I am having to shuffle guns between two properties due to safe space.
It's a bit more expensive & time consuming, but there's the 80% 10/22 option. I hear it's tough to get the barrel hole lined up properly but the pay off is if you build it as a charger & mark it as a "pistol" you can swap between both pistol & rifle set-ups just like with an ar pistol without much hastle. If you want to keep the barrel unthreaded there's always this.at that point it's kind of a "twist on" deal. The barrels & stocks themselves are usually pretty cheap on ebay, alot of guys go the bull barrel route then have no use for the stock one anymore.
Sandy hook just ruined everything with it's knee jerk reactions :( i haven't bought anything since then because I'm too stubborn to get a long gun/pistol/hunting permit. I'm all for proper training but i just don't like "saying please may i" to the state.
That's insane, they added the threaded barrel to the verboten list? I wonder if you can get around that with press fitting a thread adapter on, technically the barrel isn't threaded. I think if the gun itself was made before the ban date, you can just put a threaded barrel on it but I'm not exactly sure.
Not to mention much safer,Takes alot of the jumpiness away when you dont have other shooters banging away next to people just getting started.
Why do people think USB charging means you need an outlet or laptop near by?
Just slide one of these into your kit.
Go to any business conference in America and you'll find 20 companies handing them out for free.
I have like 10 of them. Charge them once and it'll hold a charge for like 6 months and charge a cell phone from dead to full.
They weigh about 1.5 or 2 ounces.
Or just carry an extra battery.
But that's just scratching the surface. It's very clear from this review he wrote that Kavenaugh has gone so far as to state he believes that a sitting president should be free from the 'distraction' of questioning in lawsuits. And a president under investigation wants to appoint him to the SC? I wonder why? Moreover, the lack of transparency and overt departure from established procedure the GOP has employed to railroad his nomination through should set your alarm bells ringing, to say the very least.
>I find that hard to believe, though. I'd prefer to find a source using the same sound meter in the same environment.
This really isn't that hard. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/6185023_Assessment_of_Noise_Exposure_for_Indoor_and_Outdoor_Firing_Ranges
Instead of discharging a firearm, I would love to just build something like this.
But, realistically, I'd just try and follow the drone back to a base. Discharging a firearm offensively should never be done except in a situation where your life or another's is in danger. Or, of course, hunting.
Hardware hacking is still hacking even if you weren't aware of it. Heck, browse hackaday for a while and see how long it takes you to find a project that fits what you thought the word "hacking" meant... it'll be a while, hardware hacks are sort of the norm.
The only actual hack I recall in the movie "hackers" was at the beginning when he uses the phone to socially engineer the TV guy, which isn't matrix style unix shell software hacking either.
I'm considering physically printing out information for display next to some of my guns but for now I just manage the information on the gunsafe app.
Her rate my professor rating is terrible! Although it looks a few internet trolls have latched on to this story http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=990514
some quotes: "Spends way too much time on her politics. This is an English class, not a government or politics class."
"Terrible at actually teaching."
"She was always correcting papers so that she would enjoy the final message, even if it wasn't what the person was really aiming for. Forceful of ideas. Easy A, though."
Use a program called Veracrypt.
It can encrypt a flash drive, an entire hard drive, or just create an encrypted "container" file that you can move around like any other file, and add and remove contents from like a virtual flash drive. It doesn't even need installed and can run from a flash drive if you have to.
You can use several different encryption algorithm's, or mix and match. Just don't forget the password...data is unrecoverable.
a few things to note.

this is one size. there are several available for different sizes.
2) bore tech is the best cleaner. others can argue for Hoppes #9, but since the formula changed, it is more of an "it's what muh daddy used" than anything worthwhile. bore tech has a special solvent for any issue. it is the pinnacle of modern gun cleaning science.
3) nylon brushes. only use nylon brushes. brass is okay for occasional heavy fouling. I don't use it on anything but my .22lr firearms. I do however use Hoppes bore snakes that have brass brushes embedded. it is simply too easy to fist fuck your bore to death with a traditional, metal brush.
4) AWT aka advanced weapons technology extreme force is the best oil I have ever used.
5) bore snake for every caliber.
6) you can live off of bore snakes soaked in bore tech, AWT, a Tipton cleaning rod, some nylon brushes, some cleaning picks, and some jags with patches.
7) if you want to feel professional, buy a cheap endoscope and some JB bore paste.
edit
8) use a muzzle protector when cleaning. the grit from bore cleaning can stick to the rods and will polish your bore crown. this is super bad and can kill accuracy.
this one looks good but you will still need cleaner and oil. Hobbs is good stuff. Watcha YouTube video on how to properly clean your guns so you don't mess up the rifling.
I really like the Earmonix plugs. They really do work as advertised - allowing for normal conversation while blocking loud noises.
Don't get caught with your pants down when you're wearing shorts!
Since athletic shorts don't have belt loops, I use a cheap elastic CCW belt under my shirt slightly above my waist line. Works wonders for me and you don't have to change out the holster.
Sort of like this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GNDH186/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_3Y8NFK67KJW76NSBMNSD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
As long as you keep it in a low moisture, mostly temp stable environment, a plastic box or tote is fine.
If you want some cheap options, Plano makes a few $5-10 ammo boxes with latches. I just ordered a few more of them, they are cheap, reasonable well made (in the USA,) and work for storing most munitions just fine. https://www.amazon.com/Plano-Cal-Field-Box-Black/dp/B07RC83LTZ/ref=sr_1_37?dchild=1&keywords=ammo%2Bbox&qid=1625957010&sr=8-37&th=1
Drop a package desiccants like Silica Gel, in the box and it should be just fine for years (decades.)
Or just go to a hardware/home store and buy some toolboxes. https://www.homedepot.com/b/Tools-Tool-Storage-Portable-Tool-Boxes/N-5yc1vZc22a/Ntk-EnrichedProductInfo/Ntt-tool%2Bbox?NCNI-5&sortorder=asc&sortby=price
Or other plastic tote container.
I use this one to monitor my humidors. Very accurate in my experience. Since there are three transmitters you can check them one against the other for drift.

These are nifty and help alleviate some of the clean up.
Read the "Dogs of War" by Frederick Forsyth. In it, he and his men buy 50 German MP-40's from a Dutch farmer, who as a boy saw the Germans bury a cache of weapons on his family's farm. And having kept it a secret all thru the late 40's to 60's... et voila, a ready made Army! Great book and Forsythe is a great Author!

I bought three of these lights and stuck them inside my safe with that puffy ultra-adhesive double sided tape. it's been six months and i haven't yet had to recharge them.

I definitely understand your point, but as someone who works in tech I will say, consumer electronics are built to be shock tolerant within a traditional use case, especially given that the majority of housings I have seen for keypad safes are plastic, the chances of static shock killing a unit are extremely small if not zero given it isn't cheap Chinese quality.
As long as you replace the batteries bi-annually, or at least once a year as per manufacturer recommendation and dependant on how often you open your safe, you'll likely never have a problem.
Honestly, I trust my bedside safe a bit less than my main safe because it's hard to find a good quality bedside one and I've had mine fail, but there's some rather good full size fire safes out there.
If your ISP/network admin is blocking a website that you want access to you might consider getting a VPN. The VPN will create an encrypted tunnel between your computer and the VPN server. That means your ISP/network admin cannot "see" your internet traffic. This won't work if your ISP/network admin has also attempted to block all the IP addresses used by whichever VPN you choose.
I've had great success with Private Internet Access (PIA) and NordVPN. Both are fast and have lots of servers all over the US and the world. Either one would be great. I will mention that I have had a few sites recognize that I was using NordVPN and blocked me because of that when the same site didn't know I was using PIA. This could be because NordVPN is larger or more well-known than PIA. Though, that only happened once or twice.
The other option here is to setup a VPN on your home network. That would allow you to access the internet at work as though you were on your home network. While this doesn't provide the IP obfuscation that a VPN service does, it could get around the network blocking at your work. It might also be free if your router supports it.
>Velcro ONE-WRAP
About $6 on Amazon for a 12' roll. That would make 24 6" straps. For a price per strap of $0.26 each. That's hard to beat.
