When I worked at a hotel in high school, we used these to move cars in the garage that took up multiple spots. One person could move a car in 10 minutes.
As far as I can tell, in any sport - baseball, basketball, football, whatever - if you aren't winning you better pray to God that you have the most dedicated fan-base or people will neither watch, nor show up to the game.
For example, the Cubs have been awful for longer than most people have been alive; yet, even I will begrudgingly admit that (excluding recent band-wagoners) they have an amazingly dedicated fan-base which quite literally carried them through 100 years of poor performance. The Cardinals have that same base of fans, and combine it (thankfully) with more recent success.
The Rams, having moved to what is, effectively, a new market and continuing to play poorly might be doomed. Not to failure or bankruptcy or re-location but to a fate far worse - obscurity.
Finally, I wanna mention that such poor ratings especially hurt the players. In such a make-it-or-break-it sport where the average career is 3.3 years, they may play their entire career before a team can "rebuild" (assuming the owner even wants to rebuild) and, more than likely (78% of players), go broke shortly (3 years) after leaving the game.
I will gladly say "Fuck Stan Kroenke" for years to come, and to see his dickish move begin to blow up in his face brings me great joy; but I pity the fate of the individual player who he has greatly hurt in his ill-thought quest to have his epitaph read: "rich asshole".
I have been telling everyone I know, after watching this one, go watch The Safe Side of the Fence. It covers a lot more of the history behind it, and I found it to be much more interesting and less melodramatic (not that the situation doesn't warrant the drama!).

There are at least 2 dozen Micro Breweries you could consider worth a visit. Nearly all offer food which sets us apart from other Micro Brewery cities like Portland or Austin.
Running in the city can be excellent. The street grid and historic neighborhoods/parks provided endless things to checkout as you run. We love it.
The southern part of the state is quite pretty (Ozark Foothills/Mountains). Lots of state parks for hiking. Check out this book: 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: St. Louis: Including Sullivan, Potosi, and Farmington https://www.amazon.com/dp/0897328833/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KJhBDbBEPHJC5
What part of Canada are you coming from? The Wife and I moved here from Alberta 12yrs ago. Day to day life is mostly the same, the social/political situation is the biggest difference. It's generally a great country to be a top income earner.
Missouri is VERY conservative. Look up abortion for an idea of how things are here. The government is secular in theory but not in practice. Very unfortunate. That said, the cities are much less so.
Violence is much more common in American life. The idea is that you should inact your 2nd amendment rights and protect yourself that way. Personal choice is emphasized. Rather than the Crown providing solutions, you find them for yourself. Healthcare is a great example. Hearing gunfire in urban areas is perhaps the saddest example of this approach. It will feel odd at first but eventually you'll adapt. American's just do things differently. You'll love it or hate it.
All in all we have LOVED IT.
Not many people even in St. Louis know this, but we actually have a professional football team. No, really! Their called the St. Louis Rams and play in an old domed stadium called the "Edward Jones Dome" just north of downtown. They were apparently pretty good about ten years ago, too.
Zoo, City Museum, blah blah, are all fine answers, but these are things you typically only do once a year. Within a few months, you'll have done all of this, and you'll be sitting on your couch wondering, "What now?"
Let's face it, most Saint Louisans love to drink. It's what we do. There are, however, a lot of activities and events in bars that may appeal to you -- such as a very strong trivia and karaoke circuit. So as long as you're cool with being in a bar, I'd recommend checking those out if they're of interest. Most bars around town have designated trivia and karaoke nights, just visit their Facebook pages.
A lot of people don't realize how good our music scene is here as well. There's something for everyone, and a ton of music venues. My favorites are Off Broadway, blank space, and the Gramophone. Their websites will give you a concert calendar.
Missouri is a beautiful state, and when the weather is nice, there is a bunch of great hiking within a 1-2 hour drive. If you like the outdoors, check out this site: http://www.everytrail.com/best/hiking-st-louis-missouri
Baking. Take a class or two at Companion, grab Flour Water Salt Yeast and start practicing. Then start perfecting things you can make using lots of bread, like bread pudding, sandwiches, french toast casserole. Gift bread to friends.
If you are looking to get out of the house and avoid the cold darkness, try the art museum on Friday nights. Choose to do a slow walk of just a specific area. Here's some info about Slow Art which gives you a chance to see art in a new way. I'd suggest taking time to view 5 or so pieces and bring a journal with you. Go downstairs to the cafe or nearby after and write a little blurb about your experience with viewing. Write down any research you want to do, about styles or the artist or art history. Come back the next Friday and view the piece again, just for a minute or so. Then move on to this week's 5 pieces. Obviously this may be more difficult if you're in the county but you can choose the interval.
Look to your local library. They often have classes or speakers or other free programs. I know St. Louis Public Library even has a concert series.
Try Everyday Watercolor to learn to paint, or hand lettering or something else creative. You will spend some nights at home painting and then you can treat yourself to a visit to St. Louis Art Supply now and then to buy supplies and maybe read and chill in their new cafe/lounge space.
And good luck to you and your sobriety!

> Missouri cut off payments as of June 12, joining three other states as the first to do so. Seven states followed with an end on June 19, and this weekend, benefits are expiring in 10 more states. Four more states will curtail benefits by July 10. > > The number of workers paid benefits through regular state programs fell 13.8% by the week ended June 12 from mid-May—when many governors announced changes—in states saying that benefits would end in June, according to an analysis by Jefferies LLC economists. That compares with a 10% decline in states ending benefits in July, and a 5.7% decrease in states ending benefits in September. Workers on state programs would lose the $300 weekly federal enhancement but could continuing receiving the state benefits. > > Jefferies also found somewhat larger decreases in the number of people receiving benefits through pandemic programs in states curtailing benefits, though the data lags behind by an additional week. In many cases, those recipients will be cut off entirely when their state ends participation in the federal programs. > > “You’re starting to see a response to these programs ending,” said Aneta Markowska, Jefferies’ chief financial economist. In recent months “employers were having to compete with the government handing out money, and that makes it very hard to attract workers.”

Seems Wisconsin recently did the same, weird. Get them while they are hot.
I saw this on Hacker News. Valid reasons were given, but I think there's more to STL for tech companies than that. We have several great hosting companies and some good infrastructure, T-Rex, etc.
EDIT: I meant to link to the comments.
>The protesters should have a tangible goal, right now it seems nebulous.
It seems nebulous only because they haven't talked about it on the news in a week. Early last week the demands were to release Wilson's name, to see a copy of Ferguson's police protocol handbook, to match the racial composition of the police force more closely to that of the community, and to file charges against Wilson for murder.
Others have been demanding that the police would wear cameras, which would protect both police and citizens.
I wish people coming here from other communities and states to cause trouble would stop. I wish the police tear gassing innocent residents would stop. The rest of it (protests, anger) is absolutely justifiable.
I want to see mandatory body cams with mandatory functionality (we can make sure planes don't fall out of the sky through routine maintenance and checks, we can damn sure make sure cameras work...)
the problem for me is, it doesn't make sense. why would cops be shooting people? what person in their right mind would attack people that they no are armed and can assume have some sort of training?
but then you watch this:
https://hooktube.com/watch?time_continue=10&v=gszJ3x4mxWU
and you have to conclude, some people are just fucking crazy! but how many? let's record everything. then we know. if the cop is wrong, fire or arrest and prosecute. if the criminal caused his own death, play stupid games win stupid prizes.
we have the capacity to just know, i think its worth the money to implement. everybody wins b/c it protects the wronged party, whether that's the innocent civilians being prayed on by corrupt police or the police trying to do their job and having criminals lie about what they did. having to guess with the technology available to us is dumb.
A lot of great information here. Maybe we can as a group work to improve the St. Louis wikitravel article and then put the link to it. There is already a lot of information there and having active locals improving can only help.
There is an office building by Scott Air Force Base shaped like a Stealth B2 Bomber.
Thanks to everyone who's posted here. I responded to someone else with this information, but I'm not sure if it was buried. I've passed the link to this discussion along to my boss and our director of online advertising, and highlighted several comments I thought were especially enlightening. If you have specific solutions that you think the Post-Dispatch should consider, email me: . And if you think you want to subscribe (or give a gift subscription), here is a way to do that (that shows the pricing options without requiring you to sign up for an account). Several people have stated that the survey is meaningless -- it's not. We receive revenue from the survey, which is run through Google. And if you subscribe, you bypass the survey. Our app (available for Android and iPhone) also bypasses the survey. So, thanks -- and email me anytime you have questions about the Post-Dispatch, our coverage or our website. -- Beth O'Malley
I have one of these in my attic facing southwest, KETC comes in fine.
Put your address / zip into antennaweb and align your antenna properly, KETC and KNLC are the lowest powered stations in the area so they can be challenging.
I've had this one for about 2 years. Pretty standard features as far as dash cams go, but I like it. Let me see if I can link some clips from mine. I may PM you if I link them from my facebook.

Not that early. I'd leave my house around 8AM and bike until noon or so. You can really tell when a neighborhood is starting to wake up. On the day I did College Hill, three people were shot on E John about an hour after I left the neighborhood.
Edit: I am almost certainly mis-remembering this. There were 5 people shot on E. John in the early morning before I did my ride, but I don't see anything else. This was the day of my ride:
So, I don't know what I'm remembering.
-Arcadia Valley (Johnson's Shut-Ins has cabins, but there are tons of B&Bs; Elephant Rocks; Antiquing)
-Columbia (but, if you don't mine driving a little further, the Hotel Frederick in Booneville is WORTH IT)
-Hannibal (there is a Chocolate Festival on March 11)
-You could stay in a Treehouse - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3793576
Pretty much all of your complaints only apply if you're commuting from outside the City and prefer a car-centric lifestyle. Which is fine. Lots of people like that. But there's evidence that younger folks are swinging back the other way.
The idea of a sea of free parking at an office park in Maryland Heights and lunch at a drive-thru window (that I had to drive to on my lunch break) makes me want to put a gun to my head.
But to each their own.
(Just as an aside, gas is not $0.30 more expensive in the City than in the County. It's usually a few cents more, if that. See here: http://www.gasbuddy.com/GasPriceMap?search=63103)
our zoo and museums are all in Forest Park; there are plenty of great places to eat adjacent in the Delmar Loop and Central West End. I'd recommend the Moonrise Hotel on Delmar as your first hotel option (personally though I'd look for an airbnb in the DeMun neighborhood immediately west of Forest Park, like this one for example)
Nope, there was actually next to zero information on the Indiegogo campaign.
From their Facebook post: >Also, we have had many questions about what we will use the money for and how it will keep us open. We will use the money to pay off some pressing debts and to restock the grocery store. The debts are a result of our failed Kirkwood expansion and the dwindling inventory at the grocery store is a result of paying these debts ongoing for the last many months.
I couldn't pull the trigger on early bird after last year's meh lineup. I'll gladly pay more if the lineup is good this year.
Only confirmations I've seen so far are Wild Belle (confirmed on KDHX this morning) and some mentions of Judah and the Lion popping up for a bit on BandsInTown.

This may be more recent and broad than you are looking for but I recently finished Mapping Decline and enjoyed the read highly.
It focuses mostly on the last century in showing how a lot of the current problems are rooted and contains lots of historical information about the attempted solutions.
Read Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. You can borrow my copy. You need to understand why you spend. You can get all the advice in the world, but you have to be ready to change and put yourself on a budget. Dave explains that. If I catch myself wanting to buy something I probably shouldn't, I think "what would Dave say about this?" Really awesome book.
I've been to this place a little bit north of Lumier. Its massive. Sleeps a ton of people. Very eclectic and eccentric. Highyly suggest you look into it. Its in a bit of a sketchy spot, but its right next to the biker bar and I think the guy who runs it has a bunch of cameras and maybe a parking lot attendant? Either way, I think it will suit your needs well.

There is another one really close to here in 2024-

A lot of the more "modern" skimmers use the same bluetooth chip for exfiltrating the stolen info, and someone built an android app for detecting them:

Might not catch everything but still better than nothing when it comes to prevention.
> Also, and the primary reason I posted the image, the question is stupid. There is no conceivable way that aggregating underwear changing habits of readers will generate more revenue for the Post-Dispatch.
The P-D does not generate these questions. Google offers a service where you can survey consumers, and you pay per response. If you have an Android phone they will even push these surveys to you and you get a share of the money that you can spend on the Play Store; your share often ranges between 10 and 75 cents per survey. I assume that in these surveys embedded in news paywalls, the publisher get that money instead.
Now the problem is that consumers have an incentive to not actually "answer" the survey. In the case of the Opinion Rewards app, people will just mash through it to get the money. In the P-D's case you're just going to click some random BS answer.
What I've seen often with both the phone app and the P-D surveys is that periodically you are presented with a survey whose questions are generally absurd, like "Who is buried in Grant's Tomb" absurd. My hunch is that these questions are put together to identify and filter out people who click random answers before reading.
I would bet that if you chose an unexpected answer to too many of these "sentinel" questions, you'd be flagged as a low-quality answerer, and future surveys you are presented with do not actually result in the survey requestor getting charged or the P-D getting money.
This spring was amazing. April 2 to June 9th the high temperature was in the 60s, 70s, or 80s except for a few days. The humidity was not insufferable. We actually got a little too dry by mid-June. Now I go outside and the water condenses onto my sweaty skin.
i've used airbnb a couple dozen times over the years and I always get places where we have the house to ourselves. Usually its places where owner is out of town or in between renters or something.
I'm about to flirt with victim blaming, but I wish this kid had used some more common sense. Craigslist has safety recommendations on every page (https://www.craigslist.org/about/safety) and he didn't follow half of them. He went alone, no one knew he was going and I don't know that a truck stop in Hazelwood is the best idea for a meet up with a souped up car. A petition is circulating to "ban Craigslist" from the web, which is stupid, but I hope that a discussion starts about using proper caution and safety when meeting with strangers.
Is it terrible form to brag that I'm one of them? Is that a no-no? https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1458819 If it is, I'm sorry.............................................................butI'moneofthem.
A few years ago I came across an article about a noodle company in China that was busted for painting their noodles white because it was cheaper than buying better quality rice. Yes, they were shut down, but after basically poisoning who knows how many people. I wish I could find the article, but I guarantee you that those regulations exist for a reason. Remember, any law that exists that sounds stupid probably exists because another person did it.
Read up on the history of safety regulations. Feel free to start with Upton Sinclair's "Conditions in Meat Packing Plants", but have faith that if most major corporations could save money by selling you hamburgers made of rat assholes, they would.
For anyone interested in a demo of how these things can work defcon 18
Will be interesting to see what comes out of this. I'm wondering what exactly they are recording. Just hits on the tower, or actual calls and text.
Also there is an app called Snoop snitch to detect imsi catchers or "stingrays".
And to answer you question. Of course not. However nothing will change until the technology does. like ditching mobile bands entirely and using carrier provided wifi for calls and data.Meh
Ste Gen has some great wineries with scenic views. Farther south is trail of tears park, which has some good trails, some rather challenging (at least for me, I'm not a hiker really), farther south of there, is Cape Girardeau, which is a smallish river town with a cool riverfront, little downtown area with bars, restaurants and antiques. If you're able to spend a night, there is an airbnb there which is very close to Downtown that has a river overlook. There's also the Guesthouse by Annie Laurie's, which is a cool antique shop. It's $99 a night and you'll be near a lot of interesting things to do. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/13574684?location=Cape%20Girardeau%2C%20MO%2C%20United%20States&s=g7T105Zd
I believe Charleville has a bed and breakfast as well in an antebellum cabin. Really nice winery, and craft brewery as well. Chaumette is nice as well and they have "villas" to stay in. To be fair, I haven't stayed at either winery.

AirBnb is my favorite. I travel a lot and have mainly used Airbnb for the past 2 years. Will you have a car? that opens up a lot of options. Theres a lot of car break-ins in general downtown because it's downtown, and a lot of visitors leave valuables in eyesight.

You can see it here - not sure where people park, or if they just walk. Haven't been there yet, hopefully someone will answer that here.
Others have posted pics - might want to find those posts as they might have more information.
This is an album of random pics taken inside Kansas "City" on all four sides. It includes all of their suburbs, and a fair amount of cows. On the west side near Kansas City, Kansas, it's still a proper looking "city." Compare these photos to what it looks like at the border of St. Louis City.
To get this rural, St. Louis "City" would have to push their border to the ends of Jefferson County and St. Charles. Which makes sense, given how much more area the Kansas City border includes compared to St. Louis City.
This is what people mean when they say other cities include their suburbs. And comparing St. Louis to Chicago is ridiculous. Chicago is one of the largest cities in the country, has three times the Metropolitan Statistical Area population of St. Louis, and doesn't even report their crime stats to the FBI to be used in the Uniform Crime Report. That's how they stay off the radar in BS click bait articles like this one.
Here is a groupon link for 20-20 in Ballwin for $54 for a contact eye exam and a one pair of lenses. Although I'm sure they will try to upsell you on other junk you don't need as that is usually the point of such offers. https://www.groupon.com/deals/20-20-optical-5
If you want less hassles you can also check the big warehouse clubs like Costco or Sam's Club; you don't need to be a member for optical services. I've never had their Opticians care one bit that you are there to get a prescription so you can order cheaper lenses online.
The original start to the ban. No offense or anything, but I'm not sure why you're asking all these questions if you can just google and pick a few sources and read up on it yourself.

Something Charter customers should be aware of with the growing news of TWC and Comcast:
http://www.cnet.com/news/what-comcasts-buyout-of-time-warner-cable-means-for-you-faq/
There has been talks for some time about Time Warner buying Charter. I have not dugg to much into this but I've read recently that the deal was in the works.
Yes the attached article is old, but there was some recent news (~2 weeks ago?) where I first learned about it. I'm not a Charter customer nor ever will be again, so I didn't bother looking to deep into the matter. I didn't see anyone post information about this, so I figured people would like to hear about this potential tragedy.

Why the affiliation with Social House? as indicated in the document provided in the link for the direct appeal from the law firm, they intend to have better food, no direct affiliation with Social House in Soulard but intend to have "touchstones of the brand"? What is the brand of Social House? Painted torso's is the only thing being taken from the establishment according to their writing, then why are they even part of the equation or naming of the proposed Ucity SHII?
I bring this up as the reputation of those individuals is well known among local political and police circles as well as regular joe's like me. That to me is where this thing went off the trolley rails for them, IMO.
>Branding is the process of creating distinctive and durable perceptions in the minds of consumers. A brand is a persistent, unique business identity intertwined with associations of personality, quality, origin, liking and more.
My recollection tells me that this man / wife team has quite the run in new or their own concepts, my favorite was Flying V burgers, good stuff. There is something more here that is not being represented, it does not add up to me, the Trupiano's are not involved and yet these people with a history of branding their own concepts decided to involve them in name only. If they had come to the table with their own concept, knowing it would be controversial, yet now they are saddled with the reputation of others, that are at minimum debatable in ethical business practices. Which is nothing of the fathers rep, they have earned their own just from ,my own observation. They cared nothing of their neighbors, Social House that is and seem to have little regard for customers as well. Again these are my observations, flawed as they may be.
The term hoosier as St. Lousians use it dates back to the great depression. St. Louis has historically been a pro-union metropolis, and during a strike the scabs came from Indiana. That's how it started. (Source: Urbandictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hoosier)
Hey there! Have you done something like http://www.codecademy.com/? Since you've read a couple of books it may be a little remedial but when I've been teaching people Python it's been very helpful for them to type things in themselves; there's a great feedback loop on the site.

Just did this one. Pretty remote. Will run into people when weather is nice.
This is closer to home and is our favorite once there's some snow. Its not showing as its own on alltrails but found someone's GPS of it: https://www.alltrails.com/explore/recording/al-foster-to-cedar-bluff-trail
Once you cross under the railroad tracks through a tunnel, you go "up" into cedar bluffs trail and then down for a while. In that 'down for a while' section is perfect for off-leash dogging.
THAT said (and I'm assuming you already do this). Please be ready to leash your dog quickly. We have 2, one is great and chills with us off the leash. the other we keep on leash and usually have to pull off trail when others pass by with dogs bc she isn't friendly to off-leash. That cedar bluff trail we might see 1 person in the winter. maybe 2. but it only takes 1 dog 40 yrds ahead of their person to start a fight.
There's a geocache right near the parking lot too.. maybe hit it before hand and stick a love note in there for her ;)

No. I'm using Scrapy (http://scrapy.org/). The next version of the site will have short excerpts and photos. I've tried 3 alternate DNS providers as well, with no luck.
EDIT: VPN using solves the problem for me.
If you head to the water towers up north, I recommend going before 11 am or noon. They aren't in best area, mornings will be safer.

Check out Top Notch Axe Throwing. You can bring outside drinks and food. Instead of a hotel I would look at airbnb for lodging, since they are nicer and cheaper than hotel rooms. 2 months ago I rented a dorm style type property for a party downtown that had 18 beds for around $650/night. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24394847?location=St.%20Louis%2C%20MO%2C%20United%20States&adults=12&check_in=2018-06-08&check_out=2018-06-10&s=gNhitAgx
> You don't break even on owning a house, vs renting, until 5-6 years in. You'd take a hit if you bought a house now based on what you could afford, then 3 years from now you're making way more and want something bigger.
There are no objective rules in real estate. If the numbers work, the numbers work.

The Morganford bars always have a really killer and popular pub crawl. Usually involves 3 Monkeys, Tin Can, Amsterdam, Towerpub, Stella Blues, and Colorado Bobs. I've been the past few years and its always a blast. Can't go this year, broke my leg :(

I'll just leave this here since this was addressed:

Now that I posted that I have a follow up questions
1- Has he ever shot anyone?
2- Does he have a record?
Or is the only thing you have to judge by is one picture?
(Your point is well-taken, but that's a shot of the Cass Avenue entrance to the service road for the electrical substation in the NW corner of P-I, not Dickson. Here's a current shot of Dickson Street; it pretty much restates what was your original contention. Sorry for the hair-splitting.)
2nd for Shapiro Metal Supply. They will sell in small quantities also.
Grainger should have the Kee Klamp parts.
Fair enough, I was really just pointing out the lack of incentives and expertise for government projects to make money. Here's one:
And a quora thread about the business of running aquariums:
Check nextdoor.com or the Ring Neighbors app. People post about gunfire all the time. With the weather getting cooler you'll hear it more frequently until it starts getting into the 40s as a high temp.
Sadly nothing can be done about gunfire.

Also, if you have anyone who is a season pass holder, you can get in for half off with a coupon from OReilly's Auto. It might be worth your time to get the coupon and just ask someone as they're walking in if they will go to the ticket window with you https://www.oreillyauto.com/six-flags-coupon
I used this groupon along with the promo "blues3" when the blues scored 3 goals to buy an extra large pizza AND 2 liter pepsi for $5.50. Blues didn't play last night so dont know what other codes they got.
Here's more of the poem, posted to an online poetry group in 1995:

I don't think the poster was the poet, but didn't find much else by Googling.
Thanksgiving night they're having a thing @ Cafe Eau, club-like atmosphere, it that's your thing. https://www.instagram.com/bfreestlouis/
Also, something going on @ Olive Bar in midtown, similar to the above.
I used meetup.com to find groups of people who are into the same things that I am. It usually takes several meetups with the same set of people to get comfortable and exchange phone numbers.
Not that it isn't setting records, but there are some places that are still fairly temperate.
10 day outlook in Honolulu... high around 83, low around 73.
Though it's probably a bit warmer on the big island if you get hit with flying lava or something.
stltoday called it SWAT too. and paragraph 38 of https://www.scribd.com/fullscreen/267548853?access_key=key-pbP69EdAGds49YHsWzkA&allow_share=true&escape=false&view_mode=scroll also says it was the tactical unit, aka swat
Can I suggest a brewery tour? For my fiance's 30th birthday, I'm gathering a bunch of her friends and renting a (pretty cheap) passenger van (I got mine from GEM transportation, but St. Louis Transportation is awesome and a lot cheaper than the other guys).
Here's a list of all the breweries I rounded up.
This is what we're actually doing. We're taking off from the Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood, going to Urban Chestnut, then 4 Hands, then Civil Life, and then ending up at the Orbit Pinball Lounge (back in Maplewood). Gives us about an hour at each of the breweries with an additional hour of travel time (GEM has a four hour minimum).
Everyone in my group is pitching in $20-25 for the bus, so it's going to be very inexpensive. You could pick a different ending spot and rent out a small room. Finish out the evening with whatever fun stuff he likes (video games? board games?).
Sorry, if that's not a help, but I do think a brewery tour isn't a bad idea. It'll keep him away from casinos and still get everyone drunk fairly responsibly (and inexpensively).
You want a good Pork Steak, hit Penny's BBQ at 55 and Reavis Barracks road. The Pork Steak is 18 oz+ of heaven. My daughter and I used to share one, but now she eats so much taht we have to order 2.
Here's my good deed for the day!
I'm out there Monday-Friday, send me a message if you come out to take pictures.
Seriously check out Icon & Anchor. They're great dudes and some of the best metal in the area IMHO. The metal scene isn't what it used to be 4 years ago but some of the good bands are hanging around. Most shows are at Firebird, Pop's, and Fubar but I know a lot of bands have been playing at the Mad Magician.
My old band is slowly getting things going again but will be a while til we are playing any shows again. Here's our old myspace page for shits and grins LINK!
Shameless plug from a current student: If you are interested in meeting otherwise-inclined folks, check out SLU Rainbow Alliance when you arrive next year!
American Classic kicks ass. Best barbershop in town. They play great music and had a pet scorpion for awhile. Not sure what happened to the scorpion.
Seriously.
They have beer in the fridge. They don't sell it as that would be illegal for a barbershop. I think they drink it when it's slow. Maybe if you ask nice they'll give you one.
Wish I lived closer.

If you're willing to drive to Rock Hill, Book House and Patten's are pretty good/are pretty much also an excuse to eat at Carl's, Famous Szechuan Pavilion, or Joy Luck Buffet's secret Sichuan menu. Book House is in a two-story Civil War-era house, so that's interesting.
I think you're correct in thinking that. Getting your brother declared disabled would be the most effective way to get him the health coverage he needs as doing so would make him eligible for Medicaid in the state of Missouri. (It would also get rid of that pesky Student Loan.)
Once he is declared disabled, your brother may enroll in Medicaid at anytime during the year. There are two ways to enroll in Medicaid: Contact your state Medicaid Agency OR fill out an application through the Health Insurance Marketplace.
If you need help getting your brother enrolled for Medicaid if he's declared disabled, you can go to any of the big Tax Preparation Agencies (I'll refrain from naming them, but ones colors are Red and Black and the other is Black and Green) and they can help get his application put in.
A year ago, I would have had to put a Circular 230 Disclaimer after this message. I'm not required to now, but please take this information as just my personal opinion.
Lewis and Clark trail, almost right off of highway 40 at 94. You get two hiking options with good elevation, the inner loop is 5 miles and the entire loop is about 8. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/missouri/lewis-and-clark-trail-lewis-trail Great scenic views of the Missouri River and changing scenery throughout.
Are you looking to catch up or new ones? I can't imagine it'd be shown anywhere public/non-ticketed given the amount of nudity. You can buy older episodes on Vudu, Amazon, or iTunes.
Checking the past 5 years, that holds true for four of them. 2011 appears to have kept going up.
I e-mailed seven representatives about this on the evening of April 20. Two have responded. Here are their responses.
Rep. Stacey Newman responded with:
>Thank you very much for writing me in regard to HB2051. I am as outraged as you and am working diligently to expose how wrong it is. > >As the House Progressive Caucus Chair, I directed a letter yesterday along with 37 of my colleagues to the 20 co-sponsors – asking them to withdraw this bill. Please see attached. > >You may count on me to adamantly fight against blatant insensitive bullying by our legislators.
Here is the .doc file Rep. Newman sent me. Definitely worth a read.
Rep. Genise Montecillo responded with:
>Thank you so much for contacting me regarding HB 2051. I am appalled by this legislation and will not only vote against it should it reach the floor, but strongly oppose and speak out against it.
>
>As a former teacher I understand the importance of providing students with information. I was dismayed a couple of years ago when one of my students was unable to even access Internet sites to obtain information to complete her project for my class on the LGBT movement.
>
>I signed a petition on FaceBook from PROMO. If you're a user you might want to sign as well. http://t.co/1a81bszh.
>
>I promise you I will continue to fight and vote for equality for all.
>
>Again, I appreciate you taking the time to share your position with me.
I posted this on another missing dog thread earlier today but here's my advice: you might want to poke around on any local Facebook groups, craigslist, and nextdoor.com to see if you can find anyone searching for the pup (on nextdoor you can search specific neighborhoods and nearby neighborhoods as well). I would also try all nearby human society and any other local shelters that might have picked him up. Good luck!
Good job taking him in to check for a microchip. You might also want to poke around on any local Facebook groups, craigslist, and nextdoor.com to see if you can find anyone searching for the pup (on nextdoor you can search specific neighborhoods and nearby neighborhoods as well). Keep us posted and thank you taking your time/effort to help the dog out!

Those special screws are probably Torx screws, which you can get at just about any hardware store. Or, you can order it off Amazon for not a ton of money:
https://www.amazon.com/Security-Screwdriver-Nintendo-Consoles-ninthseason/dp/B01ECGHJX8
Nonsense. My TiVo that has a 1TB hard drive and can store something like 150 hours of HD recordings. Storage is cheap, and surveillance video doesn't need to be stored indefinitely. Just a few days worth, and anything notable, like this, can be pulled and stored elsewhere.
A 3 TB WD Purple hard drive which is optimized for surveillance is $109 on Amazon. That's not a lot of money.
