Hello, good question! I have recently launched a special app for World Cup fans where fans from diffrent countries can commicate in World Cup cities chats and pin messages on the map.
I ask your question in several chats and after that I received a following answers:
1) Most European fans have an average salary. But the average income in Europe allows you to make savings and spend 2-3 thousand euros on such a trip to your vacation in one year.
2) Most fans from South America are also middle-income people relative to their country, but they have been hoarding on this journey for several years and plan it in advance
3) Most fans from Africa are high-income people relative to their country
You can ask them by yourself.
Just download app with a links. More than 3,000 fans have already downloaded our app.

This should be it.

Also, I don't know if CBC works in the US, but here is the link to the match:
http://www.cbc.ca/sports-content/soccer/brazil2014/video/match/1260854
If you click on the buton Show Events, the scroll bar will appear showing you what happened during the match and you can use it to browse through the whole match.
Great info. I'm an American that's been really into watching the big international tournaments ever since the 2002 World Cup. But the whole club systems and all the confusing cups and other tournaments had always totally confused me.
This may sound somewhat silly but what really demystified it all for me was playing a rather simple and a little clumsy, yet utterly enjoyable and addicting, free flash game called New Star Soccer. You play as a soccer star and get to move around from league to league, competing in both club and international matches and tournaments. After playing though about 10 seasons on teams at varying tiers in England, Italy, Germany, and Spain, I finally understood how all these different competitions fit together. I highly recommend it as both a fun diversion and educational experience. My only request: don't blame me for staying up until 3am night after night!
I played it on Kongregate.com but I think there are newer mobile versions as well.
Edit: here's a link. http://www.kongregate.com/games/siread/new-star-soccer
Also, Google for tips and you'll find a strategy guide on making lots of money using the stable feature. Use it so you can max out your player quickly and spend the rest of your time just playing soccer.
Yeah, a ludicrous amount. Apparently over 300 inches a year, on average. I haven't lived there in a while, but the winters are absolutely gorgeous.
You should try posting this on VKontakte if you haven't done this already. It is the largest Russian social network and almost everyone uses it.
Also there is a volunteer group Liza Alert that posts info about lost people on social networks and helps searching them
Both CBC and BBC will be airing all games live online for free (and on demand) and you don't need to have a paid TV service. Of course these streams are geo-locked.
There are ways to get around geo-locks for free, but they are often flaky. I'd suggest you pay for a VPN that has access points in either Canada or the UK.
There are many paid VPNs. I personally use Private Internet Access and have no problems with it. It has access points in both Canada and the UK. It goes for $7/month or $40/year.
Edit: I should add that it is always possible that paid VPNs can be blocked. But I know many Americans used paid VPNs to watch the winter Olympics on CBC and BBC without any problems, so you'll probably be fine.
Edit 2: It appears BBC and ITV are sharing the UK rights. It's a bit unclear, but it seems to suggest each live match will only be shown on one of the BBC's and ITV's websites. But the on demand matches after the game is finished will be appearing on both websites.

Had to make some adjustments for the flags and stuff, but here ya go. The VBA isn't perfectly coded as I don't code these small projects for what should be publicly distributed, but this should work just fine. =D
Surely it's got to be the Germans again. I also think Belgium could be a dark horse and make it as far as the final, they have the potential if they could just play as a solid team.
I definitely think it'll be Germany and either Brazil or Belgium
Download BBC Sport App and BBC Media Player
Yup. The statistic is true but the rise in domestic violence during football matches isn't exclusive to England.
The schedule on that website isn't final (the latest news is that it will be finalised by February 1st ie. a few more trains added especially on other routes).
If you aren't happy with the schedules obviously your options are train (bookable ninety days beforehand) or flight (booking asap).
But looking at the free trains available at the moment, surely the trains departing at 01.14 or 01.45 are ideal departure times for your schedule, while the other times you listed are for people who aren't heading to the match?
I just got my USA Home Jersey at Modell's. theres a 15% off coupon so I ended up paying $76.50 for mine instead of the $90 but I think it only works in store.
Yo. I made one earlier today and posted it. Myself and 9 friends so far. More the merrier!
Someone who knows better has already picked England to win it.
We have very similar brackets The only changes I saw on mine:
Serbia in over Switzerland Portugal beats Uruguay in Ro16 Germany beats Spain in semi
Edit: I also had Colombia over England
From what I understand, EA gets the names and positions of all the players from all leagues in the game through their respective confederations and puts that info in a huge database. Then they hire Data Reviewers and Data Editors to set the attributes and make sure everything is as accurate as possible.

Oh and i think you got the wrong subreddit try /r/fifa or /r/soccer for a more accurate answer.
Download THIS as well.... Try it out now and let me know if it works.
If not tell me and I'll work out another way for you to listen
Here's an Android app WORLD CUP RUSSIA 2018 SIMULATOR. You can simulate the draw, also results of group and knockout stages. The simulator uses certain rules to calculate the win expectancy between two teams. All rules are based on team's Elo ratings. You can also adjust your own team's rating and simulate to see who will be the champion by your rating values.
you go old school.
you purchase a 20 dollar tv antenna on amazon or at walmart and plug into the tv you prolly have laying around somewhere (it needs to be a tv not a monitor. use the tvs menu to scan for OTA (over the air stations) then tune to crisp clear fox and enjoy the games for free. This works for most in the us as most of us live near in an area thats covered by a broadcast fox station.
all the games are not on fox but the ones most want to see are. if not just change the channle to the Over the air spanish channel you will also be able to get and watch there with spanish speaking commentary.
this is the one i happen to use. i have two, works great.
little secret, ota broadcst usally give a better picture than streaming and cable anyway. next gen tv give 4k ots which is even better than the digital you get with regular dumb tvs.
Play store link - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tiko
The app focuses on matches, winner, and top-scorer predictions. Brackets can be easily derived from the user matches' predictions
Most of these apps weren't that attractive, even the official one, so I developed a state-of-the-art predictor app - Tiko:
- All competitions and leagues included (freely) - World Cup, Euro, Champions League, and all top-notch European leagues.
- Predictions on matches, champion, and top scorer.
- Real-time matches' odds, predictions' stats, and distributions.
- Real-time match events notifications - start, finish, and goals.
- Dynamic scoring methods - constant scoring per stage or odds based, you can choose what makes sense to you.

Actually, here's a link to the spreadsheet. I'll let you test it out. Let me know if things are unclear or not working with it.
Oh sorry wrong thread. This is what I was talking about http://mashable.com/2014/06/29/the-netherlands-klm-airline-mexico-tweet-world-cup/?utm_cid=mash-com-fb-main-link http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/30/klm-sobrero-tweet-mexico-world-cup-holland-gael-garcia-bernal It even was on Mexican tv.
As in, it's an offense, but not a criminal offense, to overstay your visa. I'm not an american lawyer, though, so i can't confirm. It looks like it depends a lot on the circumstances, according to this article (that again, i can't confirm, as i'm not a lawyer).
For reference, at least in Portugal and Spain, it's not a criminal offense, but a civil one.
You would use brushes and saturation in Photoshop or any other good editing software to color over top the image. The hardest part would probably be figuring out what colour you would use and how strong to make it when you paint over.
Here's a tutorial you can skim over for more specifics.
Hello, this post is cross-posted from /r/macapps
The app website is : https://www.livescoreosx.com

This is my first mac app. I created it because I find my menu bar underused and I love to keep an eye on what's happening when I am working.
This app is not free because I invest a lot of time crafting it. By rewarding an independent developer for his apps, you directly contribute to the efforts he will put making the next one.
Hope you will enjoy it ! :)

If you can manage to get a German IP (VPN for instance if you are outside Germany), http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/beitrag/live/2185202/Jetzt-Deutschland---Algerien-live?bc=sts;stt or http://zattoo.com/de/ stream in decent quality.
Hi /u/Astrillio. During a match, please keep all the match related discussions in the current match megathread or post match thread please.
PureVPN works for me. I have ESPN, but I got this so I could listen to BBC's announcers. Also, if you get the mobile VPN app (for whichever one you choose), you can also get the BBC streaming app and watch the games easily from there. Works good on my Samsung Note 3!
I'm Canadian and I used to use Private Internet Access to look at Hulu (until Hulu started blocking VPNs). The picture quality was perfect. I also occasionally look at some BBC streams and the picture quality is also perfect.
I think all of the major VPNs have enough bandwidth to deliver high quality video without much problems. Of course if your internet provider sucks, a VPN isn't going to help much. :)

Okay, got it. Thanks! I wasn’t sure if this was a reference to winning World Cup or the birthplace of the tournament and/or sport. Based on the thoroughness of your response, you might enjoy this book . Particularly interesting discussion on what early soccer looked like.
Pick up Rafael Honigstein's Das Reboot. It's a great read!
