Cas Anvar (who plays Alex on the show) says he talked to SyFy and the show's production company Alcon and says there is a hopeful chance to secure a 4th season renewal l if we all watch the episode live tonight, and increase the show's ratings! DVR viewing counts if it it's watched within the first 3 days after airing.
If you don't have cable, then please consider signing up for a free 7 day trial of Hulu Live or Youtube TV and watch it live at 9/8C tonight! Your live viewings on those services will count towards the ratings!

What channels will I lose if the deal with NBCUniversal expires?
-Local NBC Station
Honestly, I'm surprised that NBC can pull its local channel, but I guess if I can get it with antenna, they can pull it. I rarely watch NBC, but during the Olympics, it was cool to have all those channels with Olympics content.
I haven't used it, but I've heard good things for college football in general about Youtube TV.
According to their site, it's $40 a month for ESPN, 2, U, and News. As well as CBS Sports, NBC Sports, BTN (thanks /u/nick12945) and the FoxSports networks.
Watch this space: https://tv.youtube.com/learn/update/
> “We don’t have an update on the negotiations with NBC, but as of now there is no change to your available networks. As soon as we have any updates, we'll let you know.”
That was posted just before midnight ET.
Regarding the live tv thing, I think they were referring to this program https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ which lets you get 6 accounts for ~60 tv channels for $40/month on youtube.
Apart from that if your tv has the youtube, amazon prime, netflix apps built in you just need to log into those, and if it doesn't just buy a chromecast for $40 and it'll let you stream from your phone or laptop pretty easily. [You will need a smart phone or tablet for this - but if you don't have one already you can buy a cheap one on amazon or ebay for under $100]
Found the offer details in the emails: https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/terms/#chromecast-offer
"You’ll be able to redeem your Google Chromecast after your free trial ends and you make your first payment. We’ll send you an email with directions once that happens."
Go to https://tv.youtube.com/ in a browser, select Home at the top if not already selected and then remove any shows on top row that you're not interested in.
The goal is to clear away crap so that any series you're watching appears. Having your series appear in Home helps because selecting it from Home takes you to the next episode based on where you left off.
DVR is also processed twice. The first pass is for LIVE, and is designed for minimal delay. The 2nd pass is for DVR, and takes several hours, but will be higher quality (deeper, non-realtime) encoding. You may also find recordings where a poor LIVE recording (due technical issues) is replaced a few hours later by a second-sourced version (eg VOD).
If you see content that is playing at 1080p but looks like 720p or less, let us know what station and time and timezone and we'll recheck the quality. Please do verify that your player is playing 1080p; the player will step down to 720p or less when network conditions warrant it. You can check the current rate in the desktop browser version of tv.youtube.com by clicking on the gear icon under the video; there is a quality setting that will show the current resolution.
I just tried the web version of youtube tv, https://tv.youtube.com/, and it might be the best web experience out of all the streaming services. It's super clean and extremely responsive. No stuttering whatsover.
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
In case anyone wants the direct source. Also, an interesting part is that it includes access for 6 separate accounts. That seems better than sharing passwords ~~and/or worrying about limits on concurrent account logins~~.
Edit: As pointed out, there's apparently still a cap of 3 simultaneous streams among those 6 accounts.
Florida here. I don't have the service available yet in my area and am still patiently waiting. I would give it some more time because the blog they run said they will be expanding "In a couple of weeks" which could mean a month realistically. In the meantime you can sign up here and they will email you when it becomes available
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/coming-soon/
Sling has a $20 package which when I tested it I found not to shabby that can tide you over until YouTube TV launches in your area if you want to get T.V today.

Both NFL and Red Zone as well as Stadium, GOL TV, MAVTV and others are showing up on the YTTV Networks list: https://tv.youtube.com/directory/networks
Just a matter of time before the official announcement is made.
you can just navigate through https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ to see what channels and additional networks are supported. They keep trying to increase the bundle so you should always stay tuned :)
IF you don't have Cable, get free trials of YouTube TV: https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ or Sling TV: http://www.sling.com and your view WILL COUNT IN NIELSEN RATINGS for the show.
Show SYFY how much they messed up and show Amazon how much they need this show at the same time.
It includes all the local broadcast networks, which I think is a first for the streaming TV services. Does not include AT&T Sports Network (the network formerly known as Root Sports)
$35 a month (plus tax). Cancel anytime with no fees.

You get a free Chromecast device after your first paid month.
When subscribed, Acorn TV content should be available within the YTTV interface, either through the Acorn TV icon in the list at the very bottom of the home screen or through search. On web, the content is here: https://tv.youtube.com/browse/UCYMXb8TyQKIvPUi3M_I5rgQ?btab=3. You shouldn't need to go to Acorn's app or website, and your YTTV credentials won't work there.
We have google fiber, and my wife and I cut the cable out and switched over to youtube.tv. Haven't missed a sporting game this season, since they are on fox sports midwest or fox sports Kansas city (both included in youtube.tv). So with $50 100 MB service, you pay $35 bucks for 30 plus channels. It would bring your cost down to $85 rather than $140.
It's not just happening to gun channels though.
A lot of channels are getting demonetized and getting strikes. Some chemistry channels (because learning about science is bad I guess), political commentary channels (both right and left), gaming channels (!?), which is weird because Youtube has it's own live stream gaming thing now...
It seems to me like they want to get rid of all the "amateurs" and become more of a "real" television "network" or provider.
I mean the writing is sort of on the wall with https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/start/ and https://www.youtube.com/red complete with "YouTube Red Originals".
I think they have aspirations of becoming the next Netflix or something.
They just changed strategies.
I've been using YouTube TV for a few months. I'm 100% mobile since I am an OTR Truck driver who basically lives on the road. It has quite a few live channels and I can DVR whatever is broadcast that I want to watch later. Plus, there are plenty of shows that are always available on demand.
I'd like to see more channels and I don't get all of the shows I'd like to watch. I expect YouTube TV to expand the lineup as they grow.
Youtube is absolutely doing this on purpose, but I don't think the aim is to silence opposing political views because some other non-political videos have been demonetized as well.
Sometimes when a company starts providing poor service to their clientele, it's because they're trying to get the clientele to leave. Have you heard about Youtube TV or Youtube Red? That's where they're headed — a curated, major-studio-only system where they control all of the content that appears.
Don't get me wrong, I like YouTube red. I really like that there's a non-advertiser first party option to pay content creators. I even pay for YTr.
But most people don't want to pay for things - so the bulk of the money is from advertisers. Advertisers want their ads to be seen. They also want control over HOW their ads are seen.
The advertisers realized that YT creators need the money from ads more than the ads need YT creators and that YT would do almost anything to please them. Then you add in the fact that YT wants to become a TV streaming service where they have to play nice to the networks if they want that to grow. You're going to see the end to making money on YouTube doing whatever you want. It's going to change to "making money on YouTube doing what the advertisers want".
So why would an advertising agency want to advertise on something that has a high chance of not being seen? ASMR is getting more popular but it's still very weird to the outside world, advertisers don't like this type of weird. And so on.
What really gets me nervous is that this isn't a platform problem. Right now everyone is saying "jump ship to vid.me" but if vid.me gets popular enough then the advertisers have nothing to stop them from doing the same thing, pulling ads until videos they approve are the only ones that get their money.
Sometimes you can find a 7 day or 14 day trial. But right now, they have a offer after your trial for $14.99 for your first month. That's $50 off and well worth the price and should give you more than enough time to try it with minimum funds.
Yes, apparently so. I got this in an email:

There’s no action needed on your part — you can start watching today.

The free preview will be automatically activated on November 23, 2021, and is valid through November 28, 2021. Once the free preview ends, YouTube TV members will no longer have access to HBO Max and will need to add HBO Max to their membership to continue watching. Users must go to Membership Settings to add HBO Max for an additional charge. This HBO Max free preview requires a Google Account, a current form of payment, and an active YouTube TV subscription. On the desktop (web browser) site, I can see a whole bunch of content by doing this:
Direct links that may work:
Those two look very similar, but the "HBO max" one has a "DISCOVER MORE HBO MAX" tab that the "HBO" one doesn't.
The available channel line-up depends on the area, but most areas have both Fox News and their local Fox affiliate. You can check your area's channel line-up here. Simply scroll down to type in your zip code.
UCLA Housing used to offer SpectrumU cable/ streaming services for students with an active housing contract, so if you are currently in university housing that would probably be your best bet.
If not, you'll have probably have to try out some online streaming services, the free tier on Peacock should get you some events, and to watch NBC without cable you could use services with free trials like Fubo or Youtube TV. You'll probably want to set a reminder for when your free trial expires otherwise you'll be hit with the monthly charge for the service
If you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (the new one, based on Chrome) as your web browser then when you go to https://tv.youtube.com you'll notice at the right end of the address bar an option to "install (app name)". The icon looks like 3 blocks and a + sign.
This will install the YouTube TV app in Windows. It's nice because then you can launch it like any other Windows 10 app from the start menu and it will open in a Chrome/Edge window by itself without the address bar, etc. I use this for YouTube, YouTube TV, YouTube Music, Sirius XM, The Roku Channel and Pocket Casts.
Right, if no episode is scheduled to air in the next 2 weeks, and no episodes are posted as VODs by the network, then the show is "unavailable" when you search. But YTTV still has all these shows in their database and if you search "showname Youtube TV" in google, you can find their direct URL and add the show to your library anyway.
For example, atlanta:
https://tv.youtube.com/browse/atlanta-UCgIE21O-EIEUMYIXe3VhTrw
I subscribed yesterday, just in time for Monaco qualifying, so there may be awful things about the service that I have yet to encounter, but so far so good. I'm on the 1 week free trial so I was able to store qualifying on the cloud and watch it when I wanted to. Cloud storage is an extra that the service sells to enable skipping past advertising on standard network TV. But you get it free during the trial period.
If all goes well this looks to be my go to for local tv and most networks. Here's a link: https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
Check and see if you have YoutubeTV available in your area. It's got a two month free trial. You'll easily finish the third season before its over. It's just on Episode 5 right now, so you have a week to watch before the episodes start disappearing.
The channel list is here, scroll down:
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
ACC Network is simply not included. It never has been. It's clearly not on this list.
It's made clear what channels are and are not included. There are a lot of channels that are not included, not sure why that's "fucking bull shit" that's just the lineup.
>The current AppleTV has a YouTube App. > >Apple, to my knowledge, has never, for any product, developed new software for old hardware. (And I have been a developer for the Apple universe since the Apple ][) > >I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'm talking about YouTube TV, not standard YouTube. Two different things.
And what are you taking about with old hardware? Apple doesn't write the third party apps. I think you need to go back to your Apple II.
Do you alreay have a YouTube TV account? If not start one on another device then go to
tv.youtube.com/start and enter the code generated by the YouTube TV app on the AppleTV.
You can not create an account on the AppleTV.
Use the feature on a desktop to edit the guide (login to tv.youtube.com on a desktop using Chrome browser). You can eliminate stations you never watch and reorder the ones you watch regularly, to always be at the top of the Guide.
Another thing I recommend is to record everything that you are likely to want to watch. Then the programs are available whenever you want to watch. I rarely watch live TV, and haven't since I had my first DVR.
This post is inaccurate. This is the price for the streaming platform (YouTube TV), not the show itself. It even says this at the top of the picture itself. You can actually purchase the season on YouTube (one-time payment) for like $6.99.
I was actually surprised I had it, but pleasantly. I use YouTube TV, and record that show every night (though I seldom watch it, and when I do, it's usually a clip on regular YouTube or something).
I knew they only retain recorded programs for 9 months, but I assumed there would be some fairly low number of retained episodes of a show, particularly a daily show. Nice to see that they retain those shows for 9 months also.
>How much does YouTube TV cost?
>YouTube TV costs $40/month for 1 membership with up to 6 accounts. Memberships include your local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC streams, ESPN, regional sports networks, and more. Add on sports and premium networks for an additional monthly charge, including Fox Soccer Plus, SHOWTIME, STARZ, and more.
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
>If you're trying to watch certain programs, like sports events, you may see a viewing restriction known as a "blackout." Blackouts are set by our content partners, like sports leagues or our network partners. They vary based on your current and/or home area, the content you're trying to watch, what platform or device you’re watching on, and possibly other restrictions made by our partners. Affected programs will be unavailable in YouTube TV. If a blackout is in effect in your location, we will do our best to let you know.
Which means if you are geo-located outside of the broadcast area(such as Asia like was mentioned) you'll be blacked out.
I have the cartoon network through subbing through Youtube. You can watch it live like cable. I subscribed for The Expanse and cancelled when the season was over. https://tv.youtube.com
I did a sub for a season of Archer via Amazon. I don't know if they are doing this for s7 of the Venture Bros.
If you want to help save it and you're in the US and you can watch it live via YouTube TV, Hulu Live or Direct TV Now but Direct TV NOW's service is at best unreliable IMO. Sadly these are the only way to directly support SyFy. YouTube TV has a free 7 day trial: https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
After that or if you're not in the US - You can buy it via Amazon with u/evil-prince 's method.
Lastly you can buy it via iTunes or Google Play but it has much less of an effect.
The actual webpage you go to to watch YTTV is https://tv.youtube.com/ so it's not redirecting you - it's the website. It's a separate product, sort of, but it's the same platform and accounts, logins etc. are shared between them.
I would just have them remove you from their family share, sign up for a different youtube account and have them re-add you - or go through their support and attempt to get your current account issue resolved. There is no other way to watch and I'm honestly surprised the system let you watch through the app if it won't through their website. Might be some sort of bug they would be interested in knowing about one way or the other. Guess it would depend on if your account was disabled by yourself or due to a TOS breech.
I just signed up for a free month of youtube tv and it has all the local channels, even has a cool dvr feature that will record Texans games all season for you. Can stream the game on my phone now, more info here
Have you looked into youtube tv. It is brand new. It is like 12 bucks a month, not a huge amount of channels, but you get ESPN and things like that. Check it out. Let me know if it is great. https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
Stepping in here — I've heard reports of people not getting access after verifying their location. Just to be thorough, when you're home, go to tv.youtube.com/verify on the phone & verify your area there. This should let you confirm you're in your home area.
If you're still not able to get rid of the warning message, please submit in-app feedback, & reach out to the YouTube TV support team here. They'll look more into why you're not able to verify your area, and gather any helpful info for engineering if needed.
You can cancel your Verizon-billed subscription, and you'll have access until your current billing period ends. You can sign up for Google billing whenever you're ready through tv.youtube.com. As long as you sign back up with the same email address within 21 days of losing access, all of your DVR & preferences should still be there.
Hey, can you do me some favors to help root cause this?
I'm looking at for example the 6/8 7:30pm Jeopardy and can't immediately reproduce it.
Can you post pictures of the library and a couple of the DVRs playing with stats-for-nerds turned on? Thanks.
If folks could chime in with what devices they're seeing this on, that might help.
If someone can reproduce this on their TV, and they can also log in on a web browser on a computer to tv.youtube.com, does it happen there too? Take a picture with stats-for-nerds if it does.
You can post anonymous pic via imgur.com. Stats-for-nerds is one of items you can turn on the from settings icons under the playing video; it shares which airing you're watching (the youtube url) which helps us look it up.
Thanks. --ed
https://tv.youtube.com/ On safari and you can pause/cancel and manage your subscription just fine. Click your icon in the right corner and go to settings. It’s very easy to manage your account on safari.
You can watch the NFL Network with a five-day free trial of YouTube TV.
I downloaded the YouTube TV app on my 2016 Samsung Smart TV, followed the instructions to sign up (go to tv.youtube.com, enter a code, provide billing info) and now I'm watching the NFL Network.
I don't know if you can cast from a mobile device or computer to a TV using the app.
If you do this and you're a cheap bastard like me just be sure to cancel before the trial is up otherwise it costs $60-ish plus tax each month.
OP, highly recommend YoutubeTV. Will work on virtually any smart device (Roku, FireTV, most internal smart TV programs, computers, phones) and if you don't otherwise "need" cable TV, you can just subscribe for the length of the season (shorter this year! yay COVID???) and then unsub, because there is no obligation to stayed subbed for 2 years or anything like there is if you went Cox or Dish or whatever. https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
Anyone having difficulty watching the pregame on Hulu?
Edit: YouTube tv has it and free subscription https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/?utm_source=pm&utm_medium=gs&utm_campaign=1006175
Don’t forget to cancel before it charges.
In the US? It's on network TV so you should be able to watch with an OTA antenna. If you don't have one, it's worth it. They're cheap and useful.
You also might be able to sign up for a free trial of YouTube TV and then cancel before the trial period is up? https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ I'm not sure about this one, we don't have this service outside the US
Oh ok. Since you're in the states, I think you can also try YouTubeTV for free, right? https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ Just make sure to cancel before you're charged anything?
I'm not positive. We don't have this in Canada and so I've never tried it but it should work.
Is it? Amazon for a long time was running in the red because they kept on reinvesting into the company, we don't know what Google/Alphabet has done with the money, and arguably you could say Amazon probably made more revenue than YT.
The CEO of YT states it herself, they're spending a ton of money reinvesting.
http://fortune.com/2016/10/18/youtube-profits-ceo-susan-wojcicki/
Their deals to provide the NBA Finals on YT and the rebroadcast rights for their "YT as cable" program alone could've easily eaten a huge chunk of that $10 bil claim. Again its a claim that a platform with roughly 1 billion users generating $10 billion in revenue, even though the majority of users are outside of the US.
You tube TV looks like a pretty good deal, too. Unlimited server side DVR looks interesting:
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
$35/month, decent channel list, link up to six accounts, watch shows wherever you are. I'm thinking of trying it.
$35 per month according to their website
Edit: at first I thought $35/mo was expensive but after going through this thread it actually seems a lot cheaper. Too bad it doesn’t include internet, just TV.
PSA Anyone that doesn't have access to ESPN, Youtube TV has a free 30 day subscription that includes ESPN. https://tv.youtube.com/
Also, it includes CSN and CSN+ for $35 a month, so I plan on keeping my sub.
> No dedicated TV app for streaming media players / consoles (Yet); Must use Chromecast for TV viewing
According to their website there's a limited time offer for free chromecast after first payment.
Here's the link if you want to add it to your library directly:
https://tv.youtube.com/browse/UC6BRtN5gVfiOLrdiEz9fjOg
It doesn't show up in search because there's no upcoming episodes in the next two weeks. But if you add it via the above link, it'll start recording when they return from the hiatus.
The Sprint deals site https://www.sprint.com/en/shop/offers/base-offers.html currently says active customers through 12/31/21 and must redeem by 1/31/22. This is further corroborated at https://tv.youtube.com/learn/offer-terms/
How can CS argue with what's posted on both Sprint and YT sites?
I would go here and type in your zip code and if you see NBC Sports Chicago on the list of channels, then that'll be plenty to watch them all (including national games for example ESPN TNT or ABC). If not though, you could use League Pass (the single team package) and watch it that way but you'll miss the few national games that the Bulls have
also you have paywalls to thank for that. As mentioned Sunday everything is behind a paywall including Serie A, Bundesliga and most EPL games. NBC airs a fair amount of EPL but the best games are behind a paywall which is stupid. At least I could watch City today.
Thanks for the tip.
Does this URL work for youtube TV users?
https://tv.youtube.com/browse/UCUqxw5mQ2DK5k12TN1-AkvQ
That's what you get when you search for Rolex 24h. There is an add button for me. Maybe it works for others as a shortcut.
ya, you can pull up some menu while fishing which contains some sort of shitty browser. You can search youtube there or I just typed tv.youtube.com into the browser search bar, logged in, and it worked. I will say that sometimes it won't buffer but I just keep refreshing and messing with it and eventually it works. You probably want to make sure you have decent/quality internet.
Been using it for a year or so now, tried Sling, Hulu Live, DirecTV Now and YTTV is by far the best all around. Love the DVR and the customizable guide.
Don't forget about the free Chromecast (with Google TV) when you sign up and pay first month:
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
You have to go thru the whole trial process before you pay for the first month.
You can't subscribe to YTTV through Amazon. Sounds like you may be trying to access networks through the Amazon channels service or individual streaming apps. You have to go to tv.youtube.com to sign up for the free trial with a google account then download the app and you watch it all through there.
I found links in your comment that were not hyperlinked:
I did the honors for you.
^delete ^| ^information ^| ^<3
go to tv.youtube.com and drop the menu down in the top right corner. Choose settings, then select "Live Guide". From there you can move channels up and down, use the menu for the channel to jump it to the top or bottom, and toggle the channels you don't want to see off of the guide.
This is a wonderful series in 3 episodes wherein Waldemar Januszczak a very entertaining British art critic, makes a point of demonstrating that the Middle Ages were not dark. I recommend it.
As long as you set the site access to only tv.youtube.com. Your financial information is plenty safe, even with a malicious extension. If you're very security conscious. You could built it yourself. It's an open source project after all.
https://robwu.nl/crxviewer lets you enter an Chrome extension URL and it will show you the compiled code. If you're comfortable with reading webpack compiled Javascript, you can look through it yourself. It's a very tiny extension. You could also verify the extension's CRX compiled code matches the source code's compiled code by building it yourself and comparing the files.
I think I pay around $50 a month, comes with 70 channels or so, including all ESPN channels you need to watch F1, unlimited DVR, can watch on any device, etc.
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
I use it because you can share it with family members, so I have family across the US that watch on the same account.
I can get my Firestick remote to launch YouTube TV with my voice, but I can't get it to tune into a specific channel. Also, I tried launching YouTube TV with my Echo Dot and it was like, "No can do there, buddy. Me no understand that one." (or something along those lines). But I can get my Echo Dot to turn on my TV and change the volume. It just seems like the Alexa thing works when it wants to. Some devices work better than others.
As for the Gapps thing, looks like you're gonna just have to bite the bullet and create Gmail accounts for everyone that you want to share your YouTube TV with. Your only other option is to have them open the YouTube TV app on their device and click "Sign In", then have them tell you the code on the screen, then you go to the link that it tells you to go to (I believe it's tv.youtube.com/start or something like that), type in the code from your family member's device, then log into your Gmail/YouTube TV account and it will activate that device on your account. That way, you don't have to give them any passwords and they don't have to create a Gmail account. You would have to do this for every device they want to be able to stream on though. And those devices would count toward your maximum 3 devices streaming at once.
Newer Rokus, Apple TVs, Fire TV products, and Chromecasts should all be able to stream at 1080p with a good connection. You can check out our full list of supported devices here: https://tv.youtube.com/learn/devices/
Yes, it is tv.youtube.com, not regular TV. I've been a subscriber for about a year and it's one of the first things I tried on the Quest. I just checked it out again to make sure I'm giving the most up to date information. ESPN-U was playing the top college football games of 2018-2019. I watched several minutes of Texas A&M vs Auburn. In full screen. The resolution was very good. I don't have the exact resolution, but there was no pixelation or tearing. Once you start a stream, there is a little option in the upper right hand corner to make it full screen. All the other browser widgets turn off and you're looking at a giant TV screen with your show. One minor annoyance is that dropping the controller straight down will bring up the on-screen TV controls. I got around that by moving the pointer from the controller to the left, off the screen, then down, then back to center so the controller was in my lap.
The browser on the Quest is a variant of Chrome, iirc. YouTube TV remembered me so I didn't have to sign in again. The first time you sign in you will have to go to tv.youtube.com/start and enter the code displayed on the screen of your tv.youtube.com tab. You can open a new browser tab to do that. Once you authenticate it's good to go. Honestly the experience is good enough that an app isn't needed. I plan on watching football this fall in VR when I can, it's a great way to get a giant TV.
The older F1 races recording are still there (if it doesn't expired from the 9-months rule yet) but could not directly accessible from YTTV apps on a TV devices platform. You are correct to mentioned that on the recent tab of F1 league, it will show only the previous races in 3-weeks timespan. (at this moment, it is down the way to French GP 2019)
However, if you use YTTV app on your mobile devices or using it via https://tv.youtube.com, you will able to access another tab; Schedule. In this tab, it will list every F1 races in the past (start from the day you added F1 into your library and that races recording is still not yet expire) and upcoming schedule for the future races. Mine is showing all the way to Abu Dhabi GP 2018.
Hope this help for the fellow F1 fan. And for christ sake, what was happened with Sebastian Vettel at British GP? I was really mad at it.
You do realize that they're referring to the YouTube Live TV and Hulu Live TV numbers which are basically online cable subscriptions right and they are only counted if you watch it live.
https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/ https://www.hulu.com/live-tv
They don't include YouTube clips or the shortened version of Raw that appears on Hulu the next day.
Certainly not intentional, or shady.
I'll concede it might be a bug though :) We'll look into it. Generally tv.youtube.com isn't accessible via an mweb browser, so I'm not able to repro this. On the mobile apps, the built in cancellation flow works fine, as does the desktop web flow.
The trick is to just google it. If you search "site:tv.youtube.com SHOWNAME", one of the first results should be "Watch SHOWNAME online | YouTube TV (Free Trial)" with a "https://tv.youtube.com/browse/something" URL. This method works for pretty much any show that exists in the YTTV database, even if it doesn't show up in the YTTV search due to no upcoming episodes.
https://tv.youtube.com/browse/UCES0gyTAsZyRpVDcLNz8OBw
Here's the direct link, you can add to your library on that page. If a show does not have any episodes (new or rerun) airing in the next 2 weeks, and has no episodes currently available on demand, then it won't appear in search results.
I don't think a few apps is "absolutely nothing". I agree it can be frustrating - but..
1) App designers (including Google) have to make their apps compatible. I don't know of a way around it. I think every platform has gone through the same thing.
2) There are usually alternatives:

YouTube TV works well as a PWA (web app). Just go to tv.youtube.com then click on the 3 dots menu in Chrome > More tools > Create shortcut. You can set it to open in a window and it will work like an app. - https://imgur.com/2CteFR3
I'm pretty sure Google podcasts are available in the Google Play Music app which works on Chrome OS or the web version which works almost anywhere. Another alternative is Pocket Casts. They have a very well designed app.
I don't use Google messages, so I have no idea but I though you had to have a phone number to use it.

Amazon already has HBO, Showtime, Stars, CBS, Cinemax, and Masterpiece Theatre. Youtube has even more cable channels streaming. https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
My mother has a Youtube streaming subscription so she can watch Bravo without cable.
Thanks to the ongoing feud, the Amazon Fire is not a supported device for YouTube TV. For regular YouTube, you have to use the Foxfire or Silk browser to watch YouTube videos. I am not sure that work around works for YouTube TV as well.
yea, it's month to month, but not available in all areas IIRC. Looking at it now and they've raised the price to 40/month. It has all your local station plus a lot that would have cfb games: btn, sec, espn /2 / u, fs1 / 2, etc. the complete list is available here:
Happy to help:
Yes it is implied that any Smart TV will have built-in Wi-Fi. It may or may not also have an ethernet port.
A Smart TV may or may not have a YouTube TV app. It is different from the standard "YouTube" app, which I suspect nearly every Smart TV has. A brief look at this page suggests that a Phillips Smart TV does NOT support YouTube TV
If you use a non-smart TV (or indeed a "Smart" TV that doesn't have the app you want) then yes, a Roku is a great solution to be able to use YouTube TV. Any Roku you find will have built-in Wi-Fi. A few also have ethernet ports, but not many.
Hope that helps!
> I have The Expanse S3 purchased on Amazon.
> When do the episodes become available?
In the Pacific time zone, I've seen recent S3 episodes appear on Amazon between about 12:40 and 1 AM on Thursday morning, but delays can vary.
(BTW, please note: When a new episode is posted, it may initially appear to request payment even though you have a subscription. In that case, just wait a few minutes and reload the page. The episode should soon be playable.)
> Can I use Hulu Live/YouTube TV on my Xbox One?
Yes, according to the information here:

Google has a legitimate live streaming service for Youtube and it should work since you're physically located in the US.
I haven't been able to try it out here in Canada... even with vpn location changed to USA. Click the "TRY IT FOR FREE" and Hope it works out for you
Watch the new episode live tonight at 9/8C, fellow beltalowdas!

I've found the fastest way to get help is using their Live Chat. I've used it a couple times including just last week and I've had somebody online helping me within moments. If you are signed into https://tv.youtube.com/ then just hit the ? (Help Menu) in the top right corner and choose Live Chat.
u/LanterneRougeOG - my sub, r/cordcutters needs to be able have Youtube videos removed but we need the signup and support pages for YouTube TV which is Google's live streaming tv paid service whitelisted. (https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/) We have Auto Mod remove the videos and we review them. Unfortunately spammers post alot of Youtube videos, and many aren't relevant or appropriate for our sub. If there is a delay or a breakdown in Auto Mod, then they get in the sub and we have to track them down.
When I go to https://tv.youtube.com/watch/pLFqi_QADqI I see the LAFC logo, but it says "this program's currently unavailable to watch. Please try again later." This has been there for a few days now, but since this morning in the bottom right hand corner it says "Up Next: Before the 90." Searching Before the 90 in the search bar brings up a program that has zero episodes.
edit: Before The 90
Yeah ESPN doesn't just allow indefinite replay of their videos. It makes sense, somewhat, but at least USAU still releases them. Eventually with things like YouTube TV coming out and other things like it you can just DVR everything we want to watch (unlimited storage) and it will never go away. Hopefully WUCC 2018 is done via YouTube so everyone can watch and re-watch whenever we want.
YoutubeTV is made for chromecast, it is owned by Google after all. You even get one for free after first month.
Here's the Channel lineup : https://tv.youtube.com/welcome/
Looks like Sling is better suited for you though, has all the channels you asked for + chromecast support
In case anyone is looking for an easy way to stream the games without cable, you can signup for a free 7-day trial of YouTube TV. Should get you through the first 5 games, if it even takes the 'stros 5 games ;)
I have YouTube TV. It’s really good in my opinion. Here’s a link to learn about it. It says it’s only in a handful of cities, but you can get it out of those cities. Keep in mind I like in Riverside, Ca and it’s not on that list (at least it wasn’t the when I got YouTube TV). If you have any specific question I’ll answer. I don’t really want to say a bunch of stuff that doesn’t mean much to you.

Youtube TV is a commercial TV web broadcast and DVR service which uses DRM-to-the-monitor via HDCP. https://tv.youtube.com/
It is not available in my geographic area, but I am 99,9% positive JD will work here.
You can get youtube tv for ESPN/ABC, and check out /r/nbastreams for TNT and NBA TV games, or just use r/nbastreams for all the games.
If you had Amazon Fire TV, you can jailbreak it and install Kodi with all of the streaming plugins.
