You can already kick everyone out here: https://www.netflix.com/ManageDevices?fullpage=true
I doubt they would make it easier (the way you suggest) since they don't exactly encourage sharing and they also have different tiers with more streams
https://www.netflix.com/MyListOrder
Login and switch it to manual. after I did that I havent noticed "Continue Watching" or "My list" being anywhere other than in the top. - the key word being "Having noticed"
Seventeen years here. 17. I rated everything on Netflix, no matter where I watched or rented it. And Netflix's predictions were almost always spot on. Up/down is not nuanced enough for them to keep doing that.
You can still see your past star ratings here, but there's no easy way to export that data that I know of. And who knows if it will remain available.
To save my ratings in some way, I scrolled all the way down, letting it auto-load my entire history (which crashed Chrome but Firefox handled it), and then saved the page as HTML. Sadly the HTML doesn't seem to have a machine-readable way to extract star ratings, which are images and code that doesn't obviously correlate to a rating (at least when the page is not being loaded dynamically from Netflix's servers). I also printed to PDF as a way to save at least the images of the star ratings.
There should be a better way to save ratings, but it would require API access that doesn't seem to exist (at least anymore) or automated page-scraping skills I don't have.
To be honest if the low bandwidth streams keep up they are going to have to do this in the UK as well, I'm giving some real thought on cancelling based on the last couple of months.
I'm at 200mb+ down any speed service I test and they keep pushing me onto grainy what look like 480p at best streams and no I pay for the middle package not the basic one.
I don't expect 4k I just expect at least 720p and I'm just not seeing it.
Couldn't tell you if it's better, but I've been using https://www.justwatch.com/us (they have non-us versions). I've found inaccuracies once or twice, but I like that I can pick which streaming services I want, filter by TV show/movies/rotten tomatoes rating/release year/genre, and so I can go in without a title to search.
Everything is so fragmented now, I don't like going to any given service to see if they have the thing I'm looking for. I'd rather go find something that's in the right general area.
Zenmate x100.
Awesome plugin, single mouse click activates it, another click to pick your region. It automatically goes back to the last region you used. I only use it for Netflix and just have it set to UK.
well, Scientology protected him, so if that's what you wanna call cleared then sure....https://www.huffpost.com/entry/danny-masterson-rape-accusations_n_59fa8410e4b01b474048242a?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAL_zlAc7WYyU1WhDOeqExNsKtkB6n0W4LJulP1wZur7f_d7io8_KcdJ27qlO17VgcOr...
This has to be some sort of error or something. I can't believe this would be a butt load of shows getting dropped all at once.
Edit: And now I can't even pull up the base Netflix site. Interesting.
Double Edit: http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/netflix.com.html down for 12 mins.
True story: I moved to Seattle in 1985, and sometime during the next year a friend of my partner's invited us over for a barbecue. He was dating this woman named Liz, who seemed -- like me -- not to be that great at parties and socializing.
We got to talking over in our little corner, and in the context of agreeing that our current men were really good guys, we also admitted that we'd made some terrible mistakes with men in the past. She listened to one of my stories and then shook her head and said, "No, I mean ... I made a terrible mistake."
She was Bundy's girlfriend who had turned him in.
jfc. What do you say after that? She didn't want to get into it, but she did say that she'd published a book about her story, which is here:
https://www.amazon.com/Phantom-Prince-Life-Ted-Bundy/dp/0914842706
I read it because there was a copy at the local library. That link on amazon says you can only get it used for some insane price ... which is weird. You'd think this one would stay in print.
One thing I remember from the book was that Liz believed Bundy may have been killing all those young women to keep himself from murdering her daughter, who lived with them. Her daughter had that same dark hair parted in the middle look.
Still creeps me out so hard! Imagine knowing that you were living with & banging someone who was out murdering girls when he wasn't hanging out with you.
Go to Recently Watched (https://www.netflix.com/WiViewingActivity), find an episode, and click the button to remove the entire series from your history. Starting/stopping an episode before doing this to bring it to the top of your history will make it easier to find it if your history is really long, especially since your whole history isn't loaded until after you scroll, so doing a find might not work.
Netflix don´t ban VPNs, its against our Terms of Service, but there it clearly specifies that Netflix don´t offer tech support with any third party program. But they don´t ban it https://www.netflix.com/TermsOfUse
Exactly the same for me, when 13 Reasons Why still come's up on Recently Added - something is definitely wrong.
I went to the extreme of creating an Android app that I use to find shows to watch rather than keep seeing the same Netflix Originals that I'm not interested in. It's not perfect but I (and quite a few others) find it useful: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.streamsidekick.whatsonnetflix
Go to Netflix Taste Profiles and they have a little rating screen that brings up a bunch of titles and lets you rate them. It's sort of a game to pass the time. I've rated over 3500 movies (mostly "Haven't Seen It") and it greatly improves the recommendations and suggested ratings - at least it used to. Now all Netflix ever seems to recommend for me is their original programs.
Usual persistant access like this usually arises from the person able to access the email that the confirmation emails go to. So even if you change your email, i'm assuming the original email receives confirmation that something changed.
This scenario usually leads to the person accessing the account through the confirmation and changing the password again. Doesn't sound like that's what's happening, so this doesn't really seem to be the scenario.
You may also need to go here https://www.netflix.com/ManageDevices and sign out all devices. It's possible they accessed your account and never have been signed out with the old password. This can take up to 8 hours to take action.
As for NewMerril stating wifi compromise, I'm not sure about that either because even if they were on your wifi they still need the password to login from a new device or browser.
This makes me think they have your password, so I would suggest other computer AV software to see if something comes up. Not all Antivirus is 100%.
Only other scenario I can think of is having a serious conversation with your significant other as they are likely lying about watching Everybody Loves Raymond.
150 movies over 2 years. No X-rated movies and few R-rated films. Mostly British adventures and comedies. Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers were the most frequent stars on his list. Source.
HMA stands for "Hide My Ass" and its a VPN service. Im not sure of the laws where you live, but Ive never heard of VPNs being made illegal. All a VPN does is mask your true IP address and can make it look like you are located in another country.
Frankly, HMA isnt very good and you would probably be better off looking elsewhere. I like Kepard and Privat VPN, but there are hundreds of VPN providers to choose from, so you can choose one that suits you. All that being said though, you can achieve similar results much more easily with a browser plugin for Chrome called "Hola Better Internet". Works the same way a VPN does, but you can configure it to only work with certain websites, rather than redirecting all your internet traffic through a VPN.
Granted we only see the behavior that made it to the cutting room floor, but Star definitely lacks some of the defining/classic symptoms of the laundry list of diseases she supposedly has.
I know we can't diagnose based on what we see, but if I had to place a bet, Star probably has Munchausen syndrome and/or some somatic symptom disorder.
From WebMD's article on Munchausen Syndrome:
Reads like a synopsis of her appearances on the show, doesn't it?
Debt is how they expanded into more international markets. Netflix isn’t struggling, they’re being strategic and playing the long game.
After [Lovesick](www.netflix.com/title/80041601), which I really liked, I watched [Crashing](www.netflix.com/title/80133117). It might not be what you're looking for, but there are some similarities in humor, and it follows a group of Brits of a similar age. If you do end up liking the main actress/writer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, check out her other show, Fleabag, on Amazon Prime.
First check if your playback settings are the reason. It should be on "Auto" or "High" (unless your have data restrictions of course)
If that isn't the reason go to fast.com. Netflix isn't throtting you, but your ISP might.
Hi, I don't know if perhaps Netflix are only forcing it on certain users right now or testing it but I have confirmation from UnoTelly and Unblock-Us themselves.
See: here.
You might think about sending the email with a link to the pastebin and maybe a link to the thread to [Troy Hunt]() or hit him up on Twitter. He runs the very informative site https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and talks about security and breaches on his website TroyHunt.com. I believe he is also a redditor but I am not sure of his username.
I even called them. they are getting a ton of calls and none of them positive.
you know what to do.
I would like to recommend people check out a program called "Flux" if they are watching Netflix to fall asleep on their computers/laptops. It will slowly remove the blue light from your screen as the night goes on which also will help you fall asleep. I've had it installed the last few months and it's pretty great. There is that tough decision of just how accurately you need the visual aspect of what you are watching that will force me to turn it off from time to time but when I do turn it off I always notice how bright it is after I finished watching whatever I deemed worth turning Flux off for and immediately fire it back up again.
Hell, I even put it on my work computer just to help with eye strain during the day.
Hope this helps!
EDIT: Link if allowed
It's FREE!
Sure, but that term's used much less in regular daily speech usage than "ads". Generally one of few times you really hear "commercial" is when the announcer states that they are taking a "commercial break". Almost every person I talk to would call them ads. ~~Even Hulu calls their tier "Ad-Free" not "Commercial-Free"~~. Not saying it's never used, just that it's used much less frequently by average Joe's and that "Ads" has been around for ~~decades~~. Correction, it has been around for centuries.
I don't know if this is satire or not, because Horton Hears a Who and Oh, the Places you'll Go, were definitely not 'cancelled'. You can literally go on Amazon and buy each book for under $10 right now.
Horton Hears a Who
If, you are being serious, and you incorrectly named the books that were 'cancelled' you kind of proved the point of how this whole thing was blown out of proportion.
If you're just going through your laptop, get Private Internet Access, encrypt and route all your Traffic through a remote server. It's called a VPN.
My ISP doesn't know I'm watching Netflix, and so therefore can't throttle it.
Dear ISPs: ╭∩╮(-_-)╭∩╮
It sounds like you've unwittingly fallen into the Netflix/net neutrality hell. Chances are, Comcast is hosing your connection anytime you are attempting to communicate with Netflix. Whether it be blatantly intentional to make your life miserable so that you might consider some alternative Comcast service or somewhat unintentionally because they are throttling overall Netflix bandwidth and you just happen to be suffering from a whole lot of Comcast users all trying to connect to Netflix at the same time, the result is going to be the same.
If you search around, there are numerous suggestions on how to try to workaround this stupidity being inflicted upon you as a paying customer by your ISP. I find the most reliable options to be services which cost money (unfortunately): either a VPN solution (something like VyprVPN offered by Giganews might be nice along with the Usenet subscription it would give you) or by using something like a SOCKS5 proxy via SSH through some external host where you don't have to worry about bandwidth usage. Both options let you bypass potential bandwidth throttling being imposed by Comcast based on destination.
I would recommend signing up for a trial service someplace for 30 days or something to verify this is in fact your problem. And if that solution works, then you'll at least know why and how much you should generally dislike Comcast moving forward. :)
As Thecleaner786 has been heavily downvoted for pointing out, I'd avoid using Hola (and I'd also avoid ZenMate.)
Hola is P2P service rather than a proper VPN provider. Hola route your traffic through the networks of often unsuspecting (or potentially malicious) home networks. And potentially route other peoples' traffic through your network. They expose you to a different balance of risks. Someone downloading kiddy porn or posting on pro-ISIS websites using your home IP address is an actual risk, depending on how you setup Hola.
Fuck that.
I'm a big fan (and affiliate of) Private Internet Access. I'm not shilling, that's a non-affiliate link so I don't get a kickback. It's very popular, and dirt cheap. It's less than £2.50 a month if you buy a year up front.
Your Netflix account is global, your catalog is based on your current GeoIP. Connect your PIA client to a US server, you get the US Netflix. UK PIA server, UK Netflix. Australian PIA, Canadian PIA etc...
(OP won't need a Australian connection, but for customers from other countries, check the Aussie catalog. It's got Vikings, which is an Amazon exclusive in the UK. Both 300 movies. It's cool.)
I think it's the opposite. I think they are highlighting content that is on local hubs to keep the data transfer down.
When I use search programs (like https://www.justwatch.com), I'm frequently shocked at how much good content is on Netflix. I think they use algorithms and "originals" to push stuff in front of you that has been pushed to their hubs so they don't have to serve as much stuff over the long haul from their servers.
And this is why we never get a "seen it" button, because it would mean everyone would scatter their content, probably on a bell curve, and Netflix wouldn't be able to predict what to pre-load on their hubs.
If you guys like this, you’re going to love JustWatch.
I gave up on Netflix recommendations. I also have Amazon Prime and some other services through cable. This aggregates then all.
If you’re constantly looking for something new to watch, you should really check it out.
https://www.justwatch.com/us/provider/netflix/new
I count about 90 things this month. Granted I doubt I want to watch 90% of it, would be nice to see it. There was a Jackie Chan movie I would like to see, I found on that list.
edit, I take that back, apparently that one movie isnt available in the US. 'Railroad Tigers'. Hah, figures.
Cant believe Netflix thinks this garbage can replace BBC's content.
Hurry up and watch The Honorable Women before its gone.
A series Maggie Gyllenhaal just won A Golden Globe for. NBD, Duck Dynasty must have a mantle full of those.
Time to buy it, I guess. $120 for DVDs from Amazon.
EDIT: I get it. I don't own any DVDs, either. I added this info for any hardcore Malcolm fans who wanted to be able to binge without waiting for another service to pick up streaming him.
First, stop using Hola. Like, right now. It has been proven to contain malware.
As for another VPN service, I've used ZenMate for a while, which unfortunately isn't free anymore. There's still a free version, but I don't know how good it is. I would suggest using a paid service like Unlocator (what I'm currently using, would recommend) or Unblock-us if you can afford it. They're usually around $50 a year (I think).
As for free extensions, I know some alternatives to Hola have emerged over the past few months, but I don't know any particular name, and hope someone else will give you some recommendations :)
>delusions of grandeur about our real importance in the world
Reddit is ranked on the Alexa Traffic scale #16 in the world and #4 in the United States, and is steadily increasing.^^[1] It would be borderline suicidal for companies to ignore the opinions of one of the largest communities on the internet.
Just to let people know, because for whatever reason Netflix doesn't link to those from the main title, there is a special to '13 Reason Why' out as well. I haven't watched it yet, but my guess is that it is best to be watched after you have finished the season, because its a bunch of interviews and little clips from the show and probably full of spoilers.
Getting 100mbps on Fast.com right now and using Edge actually fixed the problem. Been working flawlessly so far.
Any idea why It's not working as good on Brave? Seems weird since every other streaming service is working fine
I would recommend Pipelight over netflix-desktop, as you can use your own browser, and it works just as well, as long as you use a user-agent spoofer like UAControl (for Firefox) to make netflix.com think you're not using Linux. Works great from my experience, and I've tried it on a wide variety of hardware. It even worked on an old Pentium 4 machine, though the framerate was a little unsteady.
On a semi-related note, it never ceases to amaze me how Silverlight run via WINE works better than native Flash Player. I can't wait for Flash video to go the way of RealPlayer.
I turned it off via: https://www.netflix.com/HdToggle and it no longer auto plays for my profile on my Nexus Player.
However, it still brings up the "play next" screen in the a few seconds. Not the best, but at least I can put on some bullshit show and fall asleep without it playing for three more hours.
Yep, it's in the Popular section for me at the moment. Hasn't been there for more than an hour.
I think it's just what Netflix uses to test current/new features. Link for anyone who wants to see it themselves.
Fantastic! 2620 ratings successfully extracted. ... Almost, anyway. I have a few movies that are named "MOVIE". Looks like I'll have to click through those individually, because while the name is not listed on the Netflix page for that id, the info does seem to exist on the Details tab. Fight Club and Brazil are doing this, for instance. Something to work on over the weekend...
Pryor was a wild card at that point, he had some drug problems, his standup was edgy, and they were worried that he wouldn't be good for the production.
This quote from a different article sums it up pretty well:
>On the movie’s DVD commentary, Brooks recalls going “on bended knee to every studio executive” to try to convince them to hire Pryor, but rumors about Pryor’s mental health and drug use, as well as his vulgar stand-up act, caused the studio to reject the idea.
If you haven't watched it, Netflix has Richard Pryor in Concert which is really good.
ProTip: If anyone is curious what resolution/bitrate you are currently getting (on any netflix streaming device/application) just play the video titled:
It will display the information in the top left corner of the screen during playback.
Netflix.com Go to "Your Account" (top right corner of the screen, or follow the link I posted), and in the "Your Profile" section click "Playback Settings".
Sick of ads? get a pi and put pi hole on it, get rid of all your ads on a network scale, includes your phones and other mobile devices that don't have the ability to install ad blockers
I'd get something to be able to change location.
As you may know, You can use your Netflix account everywhere in the world where Netflix is preset. When you travel to another Netflix country you'll have access to their local catalogue.
Services like (free) or (1 week free trial and then 4,99 CAD ~ €3.30 a month) will allow you to virtually change location.
50s, early 60s.
When you download a half hour show on Netflix it's 21 minutes and a couple of minutes of that is opening credits and closing credits. For an hour show its 42 minutes, again with at least a couple of minutes of credits. What bothers me most is PBS has started to have four or five minutes of commercials and fillers at the end of shows.
Average Hour-Long TV Show is 36% Commercials
It's Reagan that allowed many more commercials on broadcast media.
I watched GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling and there's easily enough for a second season. I was surprised by how closely the new series followed actual events/characters in the documentary. The next logical step in Season 2 would be their move to Las Vegas; lots of new material there.
I just use Can I Stream It and a Google Doc when I see a good trailer. It's set up with four columns
Date, Title of flick, Link (whether its IMDB, Trailer or Reddit Link), Availability
Your problem sounds similar to what was described (with a solution) here: http://www.reddit.com/r/netflix/comments/2q42sf/meta_netflix_playing_new_show_instead_of_next/
Basically, it says you need to make yourself unavailable to test participation. (at https://www.netflix.com/DoNotTest?fullpage=true)
I haven't experienced the problem myself to know if what is described at the link works or not.
Reminds me of how the TasteDive site that's supposed to just be for finding shows, movies, etc. that you might like based on other things that you like occasionally shows random messages saying how bad socialism or communism or something is. (I've only seen it happen once or twice before, so I'm not sure how often they actually do it, but it was definitely a message on the site itself and not an ad or anything.)
I pay for a VPN service through Private Internet Access. It's $40 a year, and so far quick and reliable. It works on my laptop and phone. However I'm not entirely sure how to configure it on a PS4. They have routers that are pre-configured for the VPN. I'm just not computer savvy to know how.
> We don't have Hulu (or Amazon's streaming service, for that matter) here. I'm pretty sure Netflix is the only major streaming service in most EU countries.
All EU countries have Amazon Prime Video, it is a worldwide service with a similar amount of countries as Netflix: https://www.primevideo.com/
But it won't help you with Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
https://www.netflix.com/TermsOfUse
Section 6 c
> THE NUMBER OF DEVICES ON WHICH YOU MAY SIMULTANEOUSLY WATCH IS LIMITED. Go to the change plan information in the "Your Account" page to see the number of devices on which you may simultaneously watch. The number of devices available for use and the simultaneous streams may change from time to time at our discretion.
Caps already in the ToS, not added by me. Currently on my plan choices, the 2 screens + HD plan is $7.99 and the 4 screens + ultra HD is $11.99 but this can change at any time.
Step 1: Dowload the utorrent program
Step 2: Go to piratebay or Rarbg
Step 3: Find the movie or TV show and download the torrent file (or magnet link) into utorrent
Step 4: Watch it on your computer or use the Plex app to stream your downloaded movies/shows to your other devices that also have the Plex app
I would also consider using something like Private Internet Access so you don't get caught. I would avoid new releases if you aren't using it (chances are still low though).
Edit: There are tons of tutorials on YouTube, so go there if you don't understand.
Edit 2: Downvoted for helping out? Ok reddit
I use Unblock-Us, it has a really easy pull-down menu to change countries and you're done. I can look up my referral link on there if you want to try a free week and get me $5 if you sign up :)
EDIT: here's the link
I have a "normal" plan, paying Netflix Germany, and permanently connected to a VPN (Private Internet Access) to the USA, same node allways. So far, they have not blocked me at all.
I'm not interested in the poor catalog that Netflix offers here, so if they "block" my VPN connection, then is time to go back to the good old torrent to keep track of my favourite TV series, as there is no way to get them here legally on demand. If they don't want my money, they will not have it. So far nothing has changed, but we will see...
I was using Hola until about 2-3 months ago and it was causing an increasing number of problems for me, including just not working at all for Netflix for periods of time. I swapped over to Zenmate and so far haven't any problems with it at all.
Hola has the advantages in that you can use it to change your country for a single website and has a much larger number of countries you can appear to be from. Zenmate changes what country you are from for your entire browser and has a painfully limited number of countries you can appear to be from - if you're already in America and/or are using to watch a wide variety of different countries' Netflixs then it wouldn't be that great The only countries you can use it to appear to be from are: America, the UK, Hong Kong, Germany and Switzerland.
Forget HideMyAss. Tunlr is free service that gives you US netflix.
Website has instructions on several platforms. Unfortunately not for wii u.
Here are instructions to follow for Wii. I'm sure those will apply to WII U as well.
In step 11 ignore that website and use DNS 69.197.169.9 (this is from tunlr)
This happened to me. If you use the same email/password combo as another account that got compromised someone will take that info and try to log into netflix.
I had my account being used in 3 south american countries, Germany and France. The language change was annoying but I never figured it out until someone deleted all my profiles and renamed them.
Black Mirror, it's pretty much a modern take on Twillight Zone with a focus on the dangers of technology/future life. Netflix will also make new episodes, so more is to come.
Does anyone have a good tool for comparing what content is available on which region of Netflix? I know that canistream.it exists but I'm hoping there's a netflix-specific tool for comparing regions. Otherwise I spend a bit of time flicking between regions to see whether something is available..
This is very similar to the show sunshine sento-sake on amazon prime. Every episode this salesman takes a bath at a bath house has snack and a beer somewhere Tokyo. He makes the beer seem really good.
Step 5: Get a message from your ISP the following day saying that you were caught downloading copywritten material and if you do it again they'll turn your service off.
> I would also consider using something like Private Internet Access so you don't get caught. I would avoid new releases if you aren't using it (chances are still low though).
Just repeating this. It's important. ISPs are paying more attention to torrent traffic these days.
I'm using Private Internet Access () to stream the Australian Open by VPNing through Sydney, and have no problem going on Netflix at the moment.
You mean by banning each American exit IP one by one? That's a classic cat and mouse situation, not complete blockage. Unblock-Us would just keep coming up with new IP exits, Netflix would keep tracking them down and banning them. I doubt that's what will happen though, they just need to show a serious face right now for their content providers who want us to torrent instead.
Seriously guys, just read what other people writes about before posting the same thing over and over and over. Yes, Netflix takes out stuff every day and add some much more. That's how it is. It could come back one day, it could also never come back. Nobody can answer you with a definitive answer. If you want to watch it right now, subscribe to Unblock-Us and go to the UK, Irish (which is the same) or Canadian Netflix where « The Dictator » is still available.
I want the language information added back in. Tell me if the movie I want to watch is in English, French, Korean or Klingon. I'm still going to watch it - I love foreign movies. I just want to know if it's in a foreign language before I start playing it, as I will set aside time for paying attention to subtitles instead of just putting it on in the background to watch while I potter around. Also, some more language categories on the "Audio and Subtitles" page. Not all languages are listed there. Korean for example isn't on the list, so if I want to watch Korean movies I have to manually search for them, which is doubly difficult as there is no freaking language information anymore!
When did you grow up? In the 1980s it was an average of ten minutes of ads for every hour of children's programming on the networks. Now it's up to 15.
Just spoke to a netflix employee via chat. She gave me this solution to see the not interested button:
That should keep the title from popping up during browsing. She also noted that this trick only works via the web browser on computers, not on other devices.
Hey there, Cliff Edwards, director of corporate communications at Netflix. Wanted to point out that we don't sell ANY data to third-party advertisers. And we provide pretty good support for anyone who wants to learn about our tracking and how to opt out:
How about you go ahead and use Vivaldi then? It's built on Chromium, you can install Chrome Extensions and use it as your "dedicated Netflix Browser" if you choose so.
If you think you have to berate people because of their "inferior" browser choice, then at least give them advice or options instead of calling them "sheeples" and feeling superior on the Internet.
A brilliant (paid) alternative is Unblock-Us. Been using it for about a year and a half and never had any issues with it, plus you can change the region to any other Netflix including the ones that were only just released.
Have you tried the list of Netflix category codes? There is a whole list for Sci-Fi--Fantasy category. http://whatsonnetflix.com/netflix-hacks/the-netflix-id-bible-every-category-on-netflix/
Also this page. https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/1492
https://www.netflix.com/languagepreferences
I think Originals and indie movies they have global rights to will have all subtitles available.
https://www.netflix.com/browse/subtitles should let you filter by language.
Bezos had this to say about the relationship: "We put just as much care into Netflix on AWS as we do Amazon retail. We may compete on Prime instant video, but we bust our butts every day for Netflix on AWS."
If you have difficulty to stick with a show, try an anthology series like Black Mirror. You get a fresh story each episode. - The show is very dark most of the time, so be prepared for that.
For that, go to https://www.netflix.com/WiViewingActivity and select the movie option "Report a problem" and write about the Subtitles issue. The subtitles are bought with the movie/serie license, they are not written manually by Netflix or some person, its something that comes with the license Netflix buys for every show. Have not tested it myself, just providing the lnks.
I am the Ponygirl. I have a book I wrote on Pony Play, "Pony Play with subMissAnn". It is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Pony-Play-subMissAnn/dp/1495269817. I have since the show was filmed done more on the other side of the reins, being a Trainer. You are welcome to ask me about Pony Play.
Strange...A Very English Scandal is called a "Prime Original" even though it aired on on BBC One and then Amazon later on...how is that different from what Netflix does?
You probably won't recognize any problems, but still you'll be part of a P2P net that is used for bot attacks and other nasty stuff. Until somebody does something really bad with your IP and you'll hear something coming from a lawyer.
There's no free VPN service that is as easy to use. Zenmate is easy to use and has a free version, where you'll have at least some servers. Unblock Us is similar to Hola, but it costs monthly. Smartflix is a decent service, but only free until the end of the beta. "When it's free you are the product" is an oftentimes overused sentence, but it's true when it comes to VPN services. So you'll probably have to invest a few bucks into your VPN service.
I've got 125mb/s down normally. When I activate Zenmate I get 10mb/s down. I'm surprised people recommend Zenmate. Between the hard throttle and the 3 countries (And Romania and Hong Kong don't even have Netflix yet sans US (Romania, Germany and Hong Kong) it's a joke. I don't know why people recommend Zenmate for US people. It only allows you to get Germany.
It's decent for Non-US though as it does have US on the free list.
I use ProxMate, it works from Germany, not only for Netflix but Youtube, Pandora, Hulu etc. The big advantage is that it's open source. So at least they don't hide anything.
Edit: There is also Zenmate, but i haven't tried it yet. And if you're familiar with Linux, getting a LEB (Lowendbox) and setting up a VPN is done in 30 seconds and costs 10$ a year or less.
I would advise against Hola as you'll act as a node for others. That means others can perform illegal activity under your network.
I love using Private Internet Access. $40 annually
Was on sale at $60 for 2 years.
Tor Guard may be on sale.
If you're running your own server, you don't necessarily need to run a full scale VPN on it. You can run it as a DNS redirecting thingy like UnoTelly. I think that's what this guy is doing:
Verizon has been slowing Netflix traffic for a while now. Goldenfrog VPN is an excellent service if you're looking for a way to stream in HD with no issues. Super fast all the time, and can be used on anything that allows you to configure a VPN or has a VyprVPN app.
You must be logged into your account for it to work.
Navigate here https://www.netflix.com/title/80057281
Click the red glowing orb on the right hand side of the screen
Enjoy what happens. *Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page for the full effect and have you sound on.
It's so good and so many people do not even know it exists. :(
For xbox 360 you can use a program called Keystick that allows you to control your pc with an xbox 360 controller.
There is an application for android called Unified Remote that will allow you to control your computer with an android device. It also has a remote dedicated to Neflix if you get the paid version.

Dunno if this is a thing in the states, but here in Germany, we can get a free month subscription before actually make a paid account. So, you maybe wanna try this out.
You don't need a cable subscription for CraveTV. Shomi is also available without a cable subscription. The amount of shows and movies you can access with those two and Netflix is pretty crazy.
The Act of Killing. I had to take a while to prepare myself, and the rest of the day to decompress when I watched it. I'm working up the courage for the follow up, The Look of Silence.
They aren't war documentaries per se, but they cover the aftermath of killings by Indonesian death squads in the 60s. Incredibly brutal. It includes reenactments using actual members of the death squads, who show little to no remorse for what they did.
Thanks! The privacy policy page also links to a cookies page that says,

These types of ads are called 'Interest-Based Advertising.' Many of the advertising cookies associated with our service belong to our service providers. "
So it also adds tracking cookies that other websites use? Like, if I watch "The Fifth Element" and then search google for "Element", could my results be skewed towards the movie? I'm asking because Netflix does not allow watching in Private Browsing mode.
I'm from the UK and recently downloaded an extension called Media Hint for google chrome because a friend of mine said it removes most of the "Unavailable in your region" errors on youtube videos.
Went to netflix and realised I had changed from the UK library to the US library. Maybe try that? (US library seems to be so much better)
I had to stop using Hola last week. It would either not load at all, or when it did the page would be filled with ads and popups, and firefox would freeze. After I uninstalled it everything went back to normal and I found a different extension called ZenMate that works even better, although I've only tried to connect to the UK Netflix, me being from the states.
No ads I guess, but plenty of 3rd party spyware built in. Directly from the privacy policy on the Hola site (emphasis mine) -

I don't know if it works internationally, but https://join.me is another good options for this.
I've had good success using it to help my relatives' computer woes. You could probably setup a proxy for her easily enough that way.
