Agreed, we shouldn't deny science. One of those articles are about great studies that support gun control, and also mentions others that oppose gun control. We shouldn't deny science, but we shouldn't take "studies show X" to mean that X is supported by all studies. Denying science is bad...but when you use "Science" as a term to beat people over the head with studies, even though there isn't consensus, more people will deny science, because they can't tell the difference between a consensus and just someone abusing studies.

Fortunately it came with the mirror so I could see the update as well, and fangirled harder than ever before (I'm not even a girl btw). Then I couldn't help but think of how wonderful it is that I now have to juggle both Homosuck and trying to catch up on the main comic at the same time.

edit: while they didn't go into specifics there was some kind of server restarting issue which is likely the cause.

It definitely seems to be something going down in the Nexus server room. I just tried opening the NMM and saw it taking its sweet time going anywhere - I was dreading potentially having to clear out my Data folder and reinstall all my mods, which fixed that back when I broke the NMM with a merged plugin containing over sixty smaller ones. I read that some of you found voat’s pizza discussions distasteful. I get it. I encourage you to reason on why it’s been so unfriendly there: Voat has been difficult to censor. DDS attacks, etc didn’t work. So the opposition contaminates /v/pizzagate with turdposts, slideposts, bigoted fake accounts, hard shilling and trolling, etc.
The opposition puts the negative junk to keep snowflakes away. That’s the best they can do to censor the topic, ususally. I checked it out on Is it down right now and apparently it has been offline for 2 days. And I'm not sure if it has been shut down, I can't find anything about it.
The status at IsItDownRightNow is "The page is unavailable" with "The website is currently under maintenance". That's probably a default definition for constant 503 errors, but it's interesting that the "Down for" statistic points as 5 days offline. Maybe the instability was increasing through the days?

If you're looking to report outtages, I don't know of any subreddits for that. If you're looking to find out about them, I recommend setting up a twitter account or follow list for the status twitter accounts of relevant vendors. You'll probably want to include vendors you don't directly use such as major ISPs.
As for the issue you're talking about:

Sounds to me like the VoIP provider lost connectivity in one way or another. Given that their main website is not affected, it's definitely possible that their email isn't either.

It's worth noting that isitdownrightnow.com appears to use only one server to test. It's worth the effort to use multiple test sites or a company that tests from multiple locations so you can confirm whether something is a local or full-on outage. (EG, confirm whether the site is down or whether one particular connection to that site is down)
Given your circumstances, it seems the best things you can do now is continue to attempt to make contact and lay out plans for some kind of failover. When things come back up and get settled, look into a more fault-tolerant setup.
I get the same page like you 'Error 522' and this is because the website we try to open is down at the moment. Last night I tried to open Kshowonline too and the page said that the website is under maintenance. I think you just have to be patient. If you curious you can check whether the website is up or not on http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ and copy paste the website you try to check on the box.

I see now.. Yeah, if they fetch info directly from (in this case) the US site, then that info isn't showing as intended. If they copy/paste the info; then it won't be affected by downtime (which also seem to be the case for some of the info on the site).
...but that's not the case with a vast amount of sites that has anything related to Blizzard games - they tend to fetch info directly from the site, instead of just copy/pasting it. It's just easier to fetch directly and it keeps it updated, if an edit is made.

Yep. accounts.ea.com is down. Can't login through Origin client or Origin.com. Attempted to explain to EA Live Chat that there system is down, and was told that it was a problem on my end several times...

Website and forums are down, safe to assume the problem is on DE's end. I'd be surprised if it lasts more than 15 minutes, and if it does there'll be an update on the twitter feed.
Looks like a network routing issue because
- I just logged into the website from my work computer and from my phone with wifi off (using T-mobile LTE).
- But http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/my.t-mobile.com says it's down for them
So if you can, try from a different location.
