Just buy one of these puppies: https://www.amazon.com/Converter-Adapter-hdmi1080p-Connector-Output/dp/B078MGZ56R
Then you can rip the data from your Wii (including save games and any ROMs you want) and play them on your computer at your own leisure.
Division 2 has native support for the dual shock 4 controller. Unfortunately, most games don't (including dolphin) and require you to emulate a xinput controller (360/One). There's a program I use called DS4Windows that will do this for you!
Last I heard, HID Wiimote was the best thing to use for Wiimote-as-a-game-controller purposes and was done in a much less hacky way. A link is here: https://www.julianloehr.de/educational-work/hid-wiimote/
It looks, however, like you've been using GlovePie for other things, too. Where you have to, AutoHotKey is probably the most powerful tool to use, and it's still actively developed and less hacky than GlovePie. If it's something simpler that you need to do, tools like AnitMicro exist for basic gamepad-to-keys mapping, although that specific example might not be the best thing to use any more as there don't seem to have been any updates for a year or two. https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro
It uses the old custom texture pack format. It isn't supported since version 4.0-5234 and has been completely removed in 5.0-6208. Someone else had the same problem with a different texture pack so I'm just gonna copy&paste my response here

An original gamecube controller, or the controllers nintendo makes for smash can be used with this wireless gamecube/wii mote adapter for the switch or dolphin as X input
What do you mean by popups? Please make sure that you downloaded the official version of Dolphin. The only official version on the Play store is found here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu If you downloaded some other version there it is a scam.
I checked it out on Is it down right now and apparently it has been offline for 2 days. And I'm not sure if it has been shut down, I can't find anything about it.
Yes. Here's one example and here's another, just do a google search on "Dolphin emulator frontends", there are quite a few.
I used Launchbox for a while before converting over to pegasus. Only downside is the setup time because it has no scraper/built-in way to create metadata files (files that describe your collection); the author is apparently working on that now. I actually use Launchbox's scraper to get the files! Otherwise I find pegasus to be better, though it is still missing a feature or two so YMMV.

If interested, you can see a larger post I made here.
I downloaded the texture pack and it seems like its using the old custom texture format. Dolphin has stopped supporting it for a couple of years now.
Texture packs in the old format only work with the Texture Cache Accuracy setting they were dumped in. So you need to test which one of the three works.
Secondly old texture packs are region specific. Your resident evil texture pack is for the NTSC-U version of the game. If you have a different version you need to change the GameID in the filename of every texure file to match the gameID of your game. Programs like BulkRename should be helpful for that.
Versions between 4.0-5234 and 5.0-6208 have a build in converter to convert textures in the old format to the new one.
To activate it do the following
Navigate to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config.
Open the configuration file GFX.ini with a text editor.
Find the setting ConvertHiresTextures and set the value from False to True.
Dolphin will now convert textures in the old format it loads in to the new format. But it will only load them in if the Texture Cache Accuracy and gameID match. And it will only load them in if the game actually needs it. So to convert the whole pack you need to play through the whole game with the converter enabled.
It looks like you got the games from somewhere compressed so you need to uncompress it with 7zip which you can download here
https://www.7-zip.org/
To open the game you just launch dolphin(.exe) open the game file from there and the game should start.
If you tell dolphin where your game folder is, it should show all your wii and gc games in a list.
I don't think any of these options would work for games that require motion controls, but I ended up using the classic Parsec or if you add Dolphin to Steam you can use RemotePlayWhatever, since it's only for "local couch coop" games it just works.
You need to install C++ Reindustriable. You can install it whilst going through the installer. You can also install it here: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/
I haven't tried it but I don't know if the two candles trick would work I imagine the flickering would throw off the accuracy, plus I don't want lit candles next to my monitor. You can try turning on your Wii and letting that power the sensor bar. I bought a usb sensor bar that I plug into my pc and use that. Was only about £8 (~$10) and works perfectly
I have a Mayflash (3rd party) one, there is a switch "wii U / PC" on it : https://www.amazon.com/Mayflash-GameCube-Controller-Adapter-Switch/dp/B00YH2TGYS/ref=sr_1_4

Pretty sure 1st party adapter are Wii U only
you can look up alternatives on how to make your own "sensor bar," but it would just be easier to get a USB Sensor Bar from amazon. they are fairly inexpensive if you just look around. hope this helps!
I’d say that yes you do need a Sensor Bar, most of the games I’ve played have made use of being able to point at certain objects in game (the one exception is Mario Kart Wii).
If you want to get a sensor bar, I would recommend the Mayflash Dolphin Bar off Amazon.
The downsides of this are:
The upsides are:
That’s if you want a sensor bar, if you don’t then yeah any bluetooth dongle will likely work.
no real need to use dolphinbar if your pc has decent bluetooth built in and if you dont plan to use motionplus. a $10 piece of garbage will get the job done, that's what i use.
https://www.amazon.com/Best-Deal】OriGlam-Wii-Sensor-Bar-Replacement/dp/B01NBC8BHI/
should work ok. if it doesnt, get a refund and switch brands
If none of those work, here's one of those listed above on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/External-GDR-8082N-Player-Drive-Rawdump/dp/B00L4L3ESE
you can get a usb sensor bar on amazon for like 10$ like this thats your best bet if you wanna use a sensor or you can use two tea candles if you dont wanna want to wait or buy a sensor.
Didn't know about the android versions i just found: Season 1 and Season 2
Edit: comments pointing out that's it's full of ads and for the full version you have to buy it
Edit 2: The game was also released on PS2. Anyway... Just played the pc version. I bought it from GOG, runs fine. Now im running the GameCube version on the newest Dolphin dev build (just updated), no lag in menu and or in game so far. But no outdoor levels yet (PAL version - 50 fps)
Even if it's not Samsung, see if you can get this app for your phone.
It let's you change volume by app. It's what I use for listening to podcasts and multitasking.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.soundassistant
Mine also had dead zones that made playing anything impossible. This controller was superior, but still cheap junk https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ADD49XM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
A phone clip, with a short otg cable wired ps4/xbox one controller is the best way to go. https://i.imgur.com/CbejxeI.jpg
It looks like you can do something similar with this app over Bluetooth or WiFi.
^(Note that I just found this randomly on the internet and have no idea how well it works.)
That is disappointing. I appreciate the follow up. That along with getting my other adapter working gives me some closure on if I was doing anything wrong.
For anyone stumbling upon this, here is the adapter I got working. I purchased it back in Oct 2019 but it appears to be the same listing still.
"Plugable USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter (Compatible with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Classic Bluetooth, Gamepad, and Stereo Headset Compatible)"
Please be aware that some brands do not connect to PC. I got this one, and it never connects to my computer. (It works ok in the Wii, tho. I think it will be better if you get one original, try maybe in shopgoodwill.com you can get a good deal.
Hey! So in Dolphin, you'll go in to controller settings and at the bottom, select "continuous scanning".
To pair your wiimote to your PC, make sure your PC is Bluetooth compatible, open Dolphin and hold the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time on the wiimote. After about 10 seconds, it will vibrate and light up on the bottom.
As far as the sensor goes, I just use a cheap USB one from Amazon.
Aokin USB Sensor Bar for Wii,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZL1GHPR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
All sensor bars work with Dolphin since they are is just an array of infrared LEDs. Dolphinbar happens to include a bluetooth controller for computers that don't already have bluetooth, which is why it needs to connect directly to the computer to work.
You can sync the Wii remotes directly to your Mac Mini, and then power the generic sensor bar with the outlet near your screen using a USB/AC adapter. This is the one I use. amazon.com/gp/product/B001UAAX60
Here's a guide on syncing the Wii remotes to a Mac
https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-remote-plus-rvl-cnt-01-tr-connection-guide/#macOS
That depends on what performance you're looking for. If you just want to run the games at native with no performance boosts (i.e. no/limited increased framerates), there are Chromebooks for under $250 on Amazon that will probably drop even more in the next couple months for the holiday season. This one is $181 and has pretty good reviews and it should be able to run Dolphin fine enough, though you may want an external hard drive to store games. 2TB hard drives are typically under $75.
If you want better performance and resolution, prepare to spend more.
Probably the screen going off and android stopping the download, use an app like caffeine to keep the screen on, (be careful about talking about downloading games, if they aren't your backups you can get your post deleted for talking about piracy)
do I read it correctly that you want to clone your game or do you just want to have the possibility to play it on pc via emulator?
if it's the first you're gonna have a hard time I guess but if it's the second a simple iso copy via daemon tools should do the trick, been doing this years ago with my old ps-games on my shitty old dvd-reader drive so you don't need anything special for this, I bet even some USB-DVD-drive should do it (like this one: https://www.amazon.de/externes-Laufwerk-Brenner-Superdrive-MacbookAir/dp/B07GK23CTW/ref=asc_df_B07GK23CTW/ )
here a quick guide:
After downloading and installing Daemon Tools Lite, launch the program.
Click the Disc Imaging icon in the main window.
Choose the drive where your optical disc is loaded from the Device drop-down.
You’ll need to specify which optical disc you want to make an image of here.
Under ‘Destination image file’, choose a path and name for the disc image. Be sure to enter .iso as the file extension.
Click Start. The tool will create your ISO image.
Literally bought that exact 3rd party Wiimote and it works fine for me, except that I have to hit the actual red sync button inside the battery compartment instead of 1+2 to get it to connect (but I recall the real ones being a pain in the rear to connect sometimes too). I am using Linux though and I've heard more people express difficulties with 3rd party remotes on Windows (I haven't the faintest idea about M1 Macs). I'd say get it and return it if you have any issues, as much as I dislike Amazon as a company they usually don't give you any grief over returns.

As for the Dolphinbar, someone jump in if I'm wrong here because I don't own one but may understanding is that it is literally just a USB bluetooth dongle + sensor bar (and the sensor bar itself is literally just two IR LEDs). If your computer already has bluetooth you probably don't need a dolphinbar, just a sensor bar like this one: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Wireless-Replacement-Infrared-Batteries-Transparent-black/dp/B07W5H3H8M/ref=sr\_1\_6?keywords=wii+sensorleiste&qid=1657212564&sprefix=wii+sensor+bar%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-6
Starting with Android 11, due to Scoped Storage enforcements made by Google, only the system file manager (hidden on most phones, including Samsung) has full access to the Android\data folder. You have the following options to access that folder:
com.android.documentsui.files.FilesActivity
-- in some phones you'll find com.google.android.documentsui.files.FilesActivity
instead). Keep in mind Google seems to be rolling out an update that makes the system file manager hide the "Android" folder when you try to do a move or copy operation -- for now, you can workaround that by opening two instances of the system file manager in split-screen mode, navigating to the Android folder in one of the views, then simply dragging the files/folder to it from the other view.About your Galaxy S20, the Dolphin folder is only still accessible from outside Android\data because you either updated from and old Dolphin version that didn't adopt Scoped Storage (which is enforced by Google since last November) or you originally installed Dolphin while still running Android 10. If you uninstall it now and reinstall again, your S20 will start using Android\data just like your S22...

Bluetooth on Monterey broke Wiimote pairing but this enables it. Don’t boot up with this plugged in or MacOS will default to only using this as its Bluetooth module. You’ll also still need a sensor bar
It’s the only wii remote I have. It’s a third party one if you wanna take a look at it I have the link to it. Maybe i have to get a official one. Remote Controller for Wii... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B479RLP?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This seems like a legit one. It has built-in Wii MotionPlus, so you can emulate games like Wii Sports Resort. It should work fine on Dolphin.
I just got a motion plus controller and having trouble pairing. Ordered this Mayfair 10 sensor Dolphinbar and wondering if it will work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HZWEB74/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Due to Scoped Storage enforcement, only the system file manager (hidden on Samsung's OneUI) can fully access the Android\data folder. You can launch it via Activity Launcher (search for com.google.android.documentsui.files.FilesActivity
).
Alternatively, you can also export/import user data as a ZIP file from Dolphin itself by going into Settings => Config => User Data. Do an export, modify the contents of the ZIP, then import it back on the same screen...
I actually just completed a flawless setup last night and had a similar post not too long ago. Get the Wii motion plus (easy to find on eBay) remotes, get this Bluetooth dongleuse Bluetooth passthrough with the dongle so you still have your original Bluetooth adapter available, then get a usb sensor off Amazon or eBay, or use the original with the Wii (just power the Wii). Dolphin bar won’t work solely as a sensor and doesn’t have passthrough. I do not have experience with how good it works I only know the audio through the remote is terrible with it (if you don’t care about it use the dolphin bar). I do not know if passthrough works well with non motion plus remotes.

Symbolic links is the answer, my friend. It's the method I use, and it works like a charm. Make sure you have a copy of your saves backed up before you attempt this, in the small chance that something goes wrong during the process.
I used this guide to set it up https://lifehacker.com/how-to-sync-your-saved-pc-games-between-computers-with-1501078690
You can use any cloud service to achieve this. I personally use Google drive.
Ha, just found this I guess the creator just upped this a week ago, but it gets no forum play. Anyways, I remembered :). Actually looks pretty sick.

I know Amaze File Manager can extract 7z and it's free and open source too
You need to use a third party app to connect to an device (I assume you are using an Android device?). You can use this app called Pair Wiimote to do it.
Is this a Wii pro controller or a switch pro controller. If it’s a Wii pro controller it’s the same thing as connecting a real wiimote, you have to plug it into the wiimote. If it’s a switch pro controller then use this software. https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows, it will be recognized as an Xinput device in dolphin. (Make sure you’re on the latest beta or dev build of dolphin first)
Here are the links for both 7-Zip and the Visual C++ Redistrutable which should be all you need to get the emulator running.
The knob probably won't work, but you can check out this autohotkey plugin to map your keys to keystrokes which Dolphin does actually support:
https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/28056-midi-input-library/
Usually they are big cases. However there are some small cases like the inwin chopin that could fit your needs. I'll try to fit a build for around 500$ with the 5600G in a second
A review on Amazon suggests all you have to do is hold down the turbo button when plugging in both usb adapters to the PC. The one with title "Awesome and cool but mildly inconvenient"
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083JWXQ1B
You might need to uninstall your drivers you have previously installed through Zadig though. It might install it's own drivers by itself?
I use this laptop and i play CSGO, Gta V, and play lots of emulators, especially dolphin with games like NSMB Wii and Double Dash. It does a fine job and the games run well
Ds4 windows, then allow an outside input in the controller setting in dolphin. Once you do this, you can change different button settings in game without crashing. My problem was the computer kept detecting and connecting the ds4 to itself while I was already playing a game with the controller and crashing the emulator. I didn't have a great experience trying to just connect my ds4 directly to dolphin which is why I switched. Now my main issue is trying to figure out how to use multiple controllers at once.
You mean DS4Windows ?
I don't know about Dolphin and Wiimote settings, but just by using the app and detecting my Dualshock 4, touchpad was working as the Mouse input on Windows.
I don't mean by strange I hate it , I mean I'm just not adapted or less experienced with it but it is fine.
I went for Linux mainly because of 2 reasons:
I made some searching and it looks like you are right.
Although I didn't totally understand your line:
>That is also why windows programs are huge in footprint compared to linux ones: everything is included.
I think you mean the dependencies or the required software are more cluttered in a Windows environment, anyway I just started a bittorrent download now for the last LTS and gonna backup some files on my external HDD and start it fresh.
Thanks for your time and helpful information man.
The version of Dolphin that you downloaded is within a .7z file archive, which windows by default cannot extract but with a tool such as 7-zip you'll be able to right click the file in explorer and extract the contents to it's own folder and run the .exe inside for Dolphin.
Also, I would also like to point out that you also must install the 64-bit C++ redistributable in order to run Dolphin (just putting this here to prevent a potential and common follow up issue).
First download a file compressor either 7-zip or winrar for example. I recommend 7-zip since it's open source. Version 19.00 is what I recommend. Download that and install it.
https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900-x64.exe
Now open your download folder and find the file that looks like "dolphin-master-5.0-14790-x64", This is a 7z file (It's compressed like a lot of the programs you can get on the internet, it makes them much smaller and a single file so you don't have to download hundreds of files.)
Right click on the 7z file from the File Explorer. Click "Open with...", select 7-Zip File Manager (or whatever you use) and click "OK". This will mean the files with 7z extension will from now be associated to 7-zip. It should then open correctly from then on and not be associated to internet explorer which makes no sense.
The icon on a file means that's what program will open if you click on it. Read the file type, mp3 means music jpg means picture and learn that files can have wrong associations, now you know how to fix that. (By right clicking the file and selecting "open with...")
Alright?

keep getting this message now whenever i try to open doIphin
I have a similar adapter based on RTL8761B that reports 0BDA:8771 (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B08CMP5LQC) that I bought because this chip is listed in tested adapters. But it does not work. I can pair in Windows and the Wiimote worked for a while, however it would not reconnect for another game. Using passthrough will not work, I tried libusbk and WinUSB. Maybe it should be removed from the list.
It's the file. Try extracting to another path then copying back to your game folder or find another rom. The best site i know is Vimm's Lair (open the link in another browser, reddit doesn't support it)
I did a quick check on my own and to my surprise, quite a few games are already playable on the Yuzu emulator. It's astounding when you consider that the software is emulating current hardware. Check for yourself:
What you're basically asking for is to use Dolphin as a Game Boy Player.
The GBA integration doesn't allow for that kind of functionality yet. It's only for allowing GBA-GCN connectivity, not standalone GBA playing.
You'll need to use a standalone emulator for the time being. mGBA would give the same functionality as a hypothetical Player implementation.
Hello, sadly i don't know how to help you, but i need help too since you have original Switch pro controller. Please could you do me a favor?
I need you set up your gyro always on as a mouse in DS4Windows or joyshock mapper(BT) and check polling rate for me at Zowie and then do the same with Steam API controlled without DS4W and JSM running and tell me the results.
I need this test, because i want to know if DS4W or JSM cut polling rate for switch pro original controllers or not. DS4W and JSM cut polling rate gyro on my 8bitdo pro 2 to 40hz from 500hz.
Sorry for posting it here, i can't get my hands on Switch pro controller to test it myself and didn't get answers on DS4Windows subreddit.
Please help me to test this. Thank you
It's a Switch Pro Controller. You need a software that translates it to a typical XBox style command. I'm using BetterJoyForCemu. I heard DS4Windows works too.
https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows/releases Install DS4windows on your computer, once installed it should be detected by your PC. You should be able to map the controller under the option where you configure your input settings. Make sure to select the proper input from the drop down menu in Dolphin where the controllers are configured.
Are you using DS4win? That'll allow you to mess with the DS4's gyro stuff, and bind it to various sorts of inputs.
Also make sure you're using Ryochan's fork, since the original hasn't been updated in years.

I've overclocked my CPU before with msi Afterburner, but noticed the 'Enable CPU Clock Override' option under 'Advanced' in Dolphin. Does this achieve the same thing? I can increase the override up to 400% (not sure if the cap differs per rig).
Use the 360 controller as a mouse and keyboard. There are probably some decent free software for this, but I use Controller Companion, it's on Steam.
You can but I'd look into Batocera (https://batocera.org/). It's a linux system designed for emulation. I installed it on a drive and boot into it from a Mac or PC (can be a thumbdrive or a full external harddrive. Supports controllers. Runs Dolphin as well as many other emulators and is way more slick than launching games from a file menu with the mouse/keyboard. Not easy for complete beginners to set up but it's the easiest of these types of setups.
strange, for me this works without issues.
could you test the current beta of 5.25 if there is the same behaviour?
> I downloaded the texture pack and it seems like its using the old custom texture format. If you have a different version you need to change the GameID in the filename of every texure file to match the gameID of your game. Programs like BulkRename should be helpful for that.
Versions between 4.0-5234 and 5.0-6208 have a build in converter to convert textures in the old format to the new one. To activate it do the following * Navigate to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config. * Open the configuration file GFX.ini with a text editor. * Find the setting ConvertHiresTextures and set the value from False to True. Dolphin will now convert textures in the old format it loads in to the new format. But it will only load them in if the Texture Cache Accuracy and gameID match. And it will only load them in if the game actually needs it. So to convert the whole pack you need to play through the whole game with the converter enabled.
I had this same problem and this is how I fixed it:
From what I understand you need to unzip the nkit folder properly, so this should work
You need 2 things: 1. Install 7-zip, a general purpose file compressor/decompressor: https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900-x64.exe
After you do all that, extract Dolphin from the compressed file, and you should be good to go.
Instead of netplay, consider using parsec . Choose the person with the best specs/internet and have them host the game and parsec stream and everyone else just connects and plays like that. I’ve been using that with friends and it works great most of the time.
I had to download the 2019 version. I tried 10 different times with the 2015 x64 and x86. As soon as I found the 2019 version it worked fine! I just used the community version. I'll provide the link below
Did it work? I have the same issue- I bought an OEM/non-Nintendo version of the Wii remote. I have an M1 Mac and Dolphin runs well with playstation controller without any issues.

I even tried the first one on a different computer, and on several different dolphin versions, including the first version where USB passthrough was enabled, and using the old USB passthrough method, rather than libusbk, all gave the exact same error.
You need a Mayflash (or similar) adapter to connect it to your PC via USB.
The only benefit the Dolphinbar has is the built-in bluetooth. I've had two of them in the past and both had LEDs die from overheating within only a few months. It's just not worth the extra money.
I've been using a cheap USB powered sensor bar and it's been working perfectly for over a year now. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001UAAX60/
All you need is some kind of bluetooth from the computer for the wiimote to connect to.
Do you have a sensor bar plugged into your computer? if not I recommend you buy one. I personally have this one and it works fine (you can also use 2 candles too hurr durr fire hazards dont exist)
Yes steam works great to convert switch pro and ds4 ds5 controllers into xinput mode. Just have to use "big picture mode" and configure the controller inside of steam.
Alternatively check out ds4windows, it does the same xinput conversion and works with ds4 and switch pro controllers. It's free softwafe.
Or if you want plugnplay, grab this little 8bitdo usb adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0786JC6VW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_8V5PGYT2GE98NXJC4MVP
The usb adapter shows up in windows as a usb xbox 360 mote, and then you connect all types of wireless controllers to it directly.
Have fun!
If you bought this one I recommend trying to rollback the drivers to the original setting. I didn't need to use Zadig to get it to work.
To rollback the drivers, go into device manager and look for it. Will likely be under "Human Interface devices," "Sound, video, and game controllers," or "Universal Serial Bus controllers." Then right click on it and hit update drivers. Next, hit "browse my computer for drivers," then "let me pick." From there, choose the option that makes the most sense, as there might be more than one.
Wired works even better, as at least in my phones it shows like an Xbox 360 controller, so it makes it compatible with almost every app that supports controller. Using it over bluetooth is good as well, but if you want to play some less known games you may find it worse.
About the phone clip I don't actually own any, but some time ago I saw one on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/OIVO-Switch-Controller-Nintendo-Adjustable/dp/B0828V1R6Y) that seemed good, but you've got to compare proportions of you device and the clip's max and min.
yes, i believe so. I ordered a usb sensor bar that is coming in on the 5th. I bought it to see if that'll solve the same problem i'm having. is it doesn't work i'll return it but here is what i bought:
If you're going to get a wii, get a wii-to-hdmi adapter and upscaler. They're pretty cheap and make the picture pretty decent on modern TV's.
If you're going to emulate, look up Primehack. It allows you to play with a mouse and keyboard, which IMO is the best way to play these games if you're not using a wiimote.
I think, but am not sure, that you can use Primehack to also play Prime 3 with a controller, but personally I think it's a bad idea. While the first two games rely almost exclusively on lock on for targeting, Prime 3 expects you to be able to aim extremely accurately and quickly without lock-on in a few sections. Easy enough to do with the pointer or a mouse, but very difficult with an analog stick pretending to be a wiimote with no auto-aim.
If you want to play 1 and 2 with regular gamecube controls, you have to get the gamecube versions. The trilogy disc only has support for wiimote controls.
Bugsimo get this one
It's officially from Nintendo only $ 35.99 plus $ 22.95 shipping
They still have them available from time to time. Currently, as of this post, Amazon still has some JP 1st party controllers for a decent price. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HC2F97Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_EW5XQJ560VB8HF1XX49E
I used to do this all the time too. There are many affordable wired and wireless knock off sensor bars on Amazon as well. This one works great and is portable.
I also suggest checking the USB port by plugging in some other device and seeing if that works correctly. Although, the controller you linked to looks very shady IMO. I've had a lot of issues in the past with cheap Chinese GC controllers. If it's within your budget, a real Gamecube controller along with a Mayflash USB adapter will serve you well.

According to my research, your can download some kind of like pc remote and configure it as direct input so you can use phone as controller.
For me I would recommend PC Remote for direct input. Pros: Motion are supported (but I don't know how to configure) Mapping are supported Cons: Since PC Remote use direct input, some of keys on keyboard are not able to use
And Droidjoy for xinput Pros: Keyboard will not be affected (that's mean another player can join with keyboard) Cons: No mapping are allowed (in free version) Motion control are no supported
Hope these information can help you, enjoy Dolphin as well.
Just use this sensor bar
Takes batteries, but is easier than using a USB one
