If you have a smart phone, or an iPod touch, you can find apps that will act as a touch pad with edible hotkeys or macros for you. Maybe like this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable
According to my research, your can download some kind of like pc remote and configure it as direct input so you can use phone as controller.
For me I would recommend PC Remote for direct input. Pros: Motion are supported (but I don't know how to configure) Mapping are supported Cons: Since PC Remote use direct input, some of keys on keyboard are not able to use
And Droidjoy for xinput Pros: Keyboard will not be affected (that's mean another player can join with keyboard) Cons: No mapping are allowed (in free version) Motion control are no supported
Hope these information can help you, enjoy Dolphin as well.
This won't get you a small map but I use PC Remote by Monect. You can create custom gamepads with custom buttons and layouts. it connects to your pc wirelessly. I bought the paid version and love it.

I am hooked to that type of aiming/controls. Will be making more games like that... The same app I used for wheel can move cursor using gyro I think worth a try. Very fun to use. Not so convenient.... But...

There's a great app I discovered by accident in the app store that works amazing for mirroring your smartphone's screen to pc.
It's used to be called "Monect" but for some reason the developer changed it's name to "PC Remote". It's supposed to be an app to use your smartphone as a mouse/keyboars for your pc but it also has a bunch of other features that aren't even mentioned in the app's description. One of the features is that you can mirror your smartphone's screen on your pc, it's easy to do and it has very little delay. I totally recommend it and it's free.

I use monect. UI is awful on the phone but works quicker and easier than anything else Ive tried.

Check out an app to use your phone as a keyboard/mouse. Monect has been working great for me over wifi and doesn't take up much system resources.
Here is the link for the lazy https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable Share your setups commanders, should you use it!
Try this if it still the same with your phone then you know it's your pc problem (probably not tho)
I don't work for them, I do work as an IT Manager. I'm well aware of the issues, I myself use fire stick for my main TV's streaming and thankfully have no issues with funimation but crunchyroll's app literally cannot finish an entire episode without crashing to home screen. I feel your pain, trust.
Can't help you with Samsung TV, unlike everyone else they decided to run their own (awful) smart TV shit which is just plain awful. Personally recommend anyone looking to get a smart TV to go with anything android based so you can side-load apps and have more control/support over your device.
I've used Chromecast to my S20 and had issues start to show up with white flickering on playback, not to mention the heat/drain it causes on the phone itself. I got around this by casting from a main PC or laptop instead.
random guide I found https://www.dignited.com/33783/how-to-cast-media-from-windows-10-pc-to-smart-tv/
What if your PC isn't in reach of your TV area or you don't want to man handle your laptop to skip intro? There are lots of PC Remote tools on the play store that will allow you to control your PC/turn your smartphone into a remote, again here is the first result from a google search https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable&hl=en_GB&gl=US
And finally yes, these are stupid work arounds that you shouldn't need to do. In an idea world Netflix would offer channels like Amazon does so you get a Netflix quality player experience with the content you purchased. Funimation actually did this and it worked great but now I can't find the FunimationNOW channel listed on amazon anymore so I guess it wasn't getting enough retention.

Monect? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable&hl=en_GB
Its dark, and I use it as it has never failed me. Looks awful though but works.
Ohhhhh... Nice ! I found this app : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable but the one you linked seem to be more interesting in the "custom interface" department.
I use this every once in a while: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable It works ok.
Has anyone thought about this one? I think on a mount this might work well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monect.portable
