I'm having the same type of issue logging in. When I try to login to the Origin client, it spins for a bit then throws me in Offline mode. Just found https://www.origin.com/en-us/status which confirms account services are offline. At least the store is up...
One of the updates to Origin a while ago now places all dlc content for a game under the base game.
As university life is dlc for the sims 3 it will be located under that game. So click on the sims 3 tile and then click the "I" button and you will see all the dlc available for sale, the ones you own and the download buttons for the content you own.
Personal experience is completely the opposite in regard to Origin and EA. The client is vastly improved, they have had refunds for about 2 years so you can have it refunded.
They have great customer support, and they have been doing great work on bf4/fifa/need for speed, I mean they even give away free games.
you are aware that G2A is a key re-seller and has nothing to do with EA?
But there are lots of private servers for BFBC2 : https://www.gametracker.com/search/bc2/
Also in Origin under the system specs for the game it says in upper case embolden letters
"IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE EA ONLINE SERVICE, INCLUDING AVAILABILITY, CAN BE FOUND AT www.ea.com. ONLINE SERVICE FOR THIS TITLE MAY BE DISCONTINUED AND IS NOT GUARANTEED PLEASE SEE http://www.ea.com/2/service-updates FOR DETAILS."
When purchasing any game which is a couple of years old you should check out to see if there are any official servers are still active especially if you are getting it for multiplayer, for the battlefield series it has never really been an issue, as the community can rent servers on PC and Console so the multiplayer will stay alive as long the community wants it.
But really this is a buyer beware story about not doing research/reading, It's like buying a car without a radio, then giving out about the manufacture as the car didn't have a radio.
Why are you threatening us ? :)) Most of my origin games are bought without origin acces. I think you can be in origin acces and buy games (maybe with % do not know exactly) or do not have origin acces an buy games the same.
Edit: check this web https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/battlefield/battlefield-v/interstitial
Should be just below the origin acces or premier offer an option to buy the full game. I have it.
yes, cloud saves and profiles from all your access games and demos carry over into full games you buy on origin. everything is tied into your EA account anyway.
The only difference is that the game version provided by premier access is the deluxe edition, so if you were to buy the standard BFV edition, you'd lose some deluxe extras (Deluxe Edition Special Assignments, 20 weekly items with Airlift, 5 sets of Paratrooper gear). See the edition comparison here
That's a bit overkill for email. Instead, just do "<myusername>+<nameofsite>@gmail.com". Then it's very easy to see which sites are giving your information away, voluntarily or otherwise.
Check out Tip #2 on this site for a little more info. (I actually didn't know about the other option mentioned with periods, and question if that still actually works.)
yes and you also get other full games to play, like the new Madden 19, FIFA 19, Star Wars Battlefront II, A Way Out, etc. All in all some 150 games - for 15 dollars/euros a month, that's great value.
Here's everything that the access subscription gives you.
If you don't have any EA games I would sign up for Origin Access Its €4 a month or €24 for a year. It will give you access to 75+ titles with games being added all the time, and even some non EA games too.
Honestly its great value for money.
No. Subscribing to Origin Access Basic or Premier allows you to play various games while you are a member, instead of having to buy them.
If you buy games individually, you can of course play them.
Firstly;
You can't pay with a "game card" you have to pay with a debit/credit card.
Is there a list of the Free Games available for Origin Access?
https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/origin-access/vault-games
Can you play the Origin Access Free Games offline?
I've not been able to play either. I can log in, but then it says I'm offline and when I go to 'go online' the button does nothing. I can boot up the battlelog webpage for BF4 but it comes up with "The Game Statistics Engine is currently down" and none of the servers are available to play. The EA website says that the servers are up for bf4: http://help.ea.com/en/battlefield/battlefield-4/
but when it comes to origin it says their 'social' server is limited: https://www.origin.com/en-gb/status
It's pretty rare that I have issues connecting to Origin, but I ended up getting disconnected about 15 minutes ago and can't get online at the moment. Typically it seems to go down less often than Steam, but for longer periods of time when it does.
The status page says it's up at the moment though, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Edit: Actually, it looks like a bunch of people have started having issues quite recently. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
Edit 2: Yay, it lives!
I use VPNgate to unlock my game earlier but every other VPN should also work.
you can disconnect from the VPN when you are in-game. but you have to repeat these steps every time you close Origin.
I believe basic gives you a 10 hour trial to the full version of BFV (i.e. Unrestricted except time limit) and Premier gives you access to it without any time limit.
yes, with the Premier subscription plan you get 165 full games to play however and whenever you want as long as you keep the subscription active (by paying $15 monthly or $100 once a year). BFV Deluxe edition is included in this subscription plan.
There's no Free Trial available for A Way Out but Friend Pass is still available in store. If your friend goes to the store page, he should see a "Try it first" button with an option to add and download the Friend Pass version to library. If that doesn't work, try sending an invite using the in-game menu; he should get an option to download the Friend Pass version.
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri Check the game on that site using her Mac. If it runs then you're good .
Digital copy of the sims 3 is very cheap on g2a so you're going to be saving a lot of money there.
Ok I appreciate the info. I did not and still do not see where it says that though. I've checked on mobile, and mobile with requesting desktop version of the site and I checked the site on my actual desktop. https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/deals I will take your word for it though sir, just trying to make sure my brother doesn't miss it so we can add another game to the list of games we never have time to play together.
On https://www.origin.com/en-ca/origin-access/faq it says: > For Play First Trials, you’ll need an Internet connection. You can play some Vault games offline, but you’ll need to periodically reconnect to Origin to verify that you’re still a member.
It's possible your PC is fine, and your username/password combination just happened to be paired from other sites/services that were compromised (this is a big reason why you want to rely on a password manager and ensure every website has a different password). But if you can at all, use another clean PC first, yeah.
Have you ever happened to use Origin's username/password combination elsewhere before?
You can check your login email address at haveibeenpwned.
Not sure what else to suggest - you need to try to prove to EA/Origin support that you own the account... maybe see if you have any purchase records in your email? Good luck.
Problem seems to be ongoing for about 3.5 hours now (http://downdetector.com/status/origin)
Wish they would update their status page to reflect that this is a problem on their end (https://www.origin.com/en-us/status)
If you look at the On the House page now, it states they're working to get C&C 2 back up there:
"Wow, you guys are loving Command & Conquer Red Alert™ 2 and Yuri’s Revenge™On the House! the demand is so high that we need some time to cool down our servers. Command & Conquer Red Alert™ 2 and Yuri’s Revenge™ will return to on the house very shortly.
Thanks for being patient!"
Not sure when that message went up, but sounds like C&C 2 will be back.
EA does make physical releases of all their games that's just a code in the box. This depends entirely on your location tho.
Or you could just buy a key off of Amazon or other game stores and give it to him.
Sorry, Origin PC is completely separate from EA Origin, which this subreddit is about. You'll want to look for
Try the /r/buildapc subreddit, perhaps? Or, check the Origin PC link (first of the two) and see if they have a monthly financing plan. I personally wouldn't suggest it, as you pay interest. And Origin PCs are sort of a boutique brand and might not be the most cost-efficient way to get into PC Gaming.
Shop around, though, and if in doubt, check that buildapc subreddit for some more involved user input/help.
Go to settings in Chrome->Content Settings under Privacy and Security->Cookies->Uncheck Block Third Party Cookies. If at this point it doesn't work, Click on Add and add https://www.origin.com
Thank you so much! Worked for me.
Go to settings in Chrome->Content Settings under Privacy and Security->Cookies->Uncheck Block Third Party Cookies. If at this point it doesn't work, Click on Add and add https://www.origin.com
You have to add them to your library from the Vault page. The new ones I listed are in a side-scrolling carousel at the top of the list.
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/origin-access/vault-games
Here's the link to Mad Games Tycoon page if you still don't see it:
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/mad-games-tycoon/mad-games-tycoon
I believe they charge you based on the day you sign up generically speaking. Its what most business do for recurring subscriptions.
What payment methods can I use to purchase an Origin Access membership? We currently accept credit cards and PayPal.
From https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/origin-access/faq
No I mean on Origin itself. Are you sure you're looking at just the upgrade?
The deluxe upgrade is $10: https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/mass-effect/mass-effect-3/addon/mass-effect-3-digital-deluxe-edition-upgrade
Try re-downloading it https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/download
check properties of said file. Is there a "unblock" box? tick and apply.
Also check to sure "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin." folder is deleted before attempting to install again.
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/install-origin/
If it works the same as last time, you can cancel now and still play the games until your trial runs out.
From https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/origin-access/faq
>What if I want to cancel Origin Access before my membership ends?
>If you cancel your membership prior to your next monthly or annual billing date, you won't be charged for the following month or year. You'll be able to continue to play Vault games, use your discount and jump into any available Play First Trials until your membership expires.
>Please note there are no refunds for either monthly or yearly membership fees regardless of when you cancel.
Works the same for the trial.
Yep, Mass Effect Andromeda trial is still available for Origin Access members (as are BF1 and FIFA 17 trials).
You can also check current Vault game availability by going here: https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/origin-access/vault-games
Basically, for any reason that isn't a technical problem preventing you from playing the game, you have to put in your refund claim 24 hours after first launch, or 7 days from the release date (since you pre-ordered). If it's a technical issue where you can't play the game, you have a longer grace period after your first launch.
Here are the specific Great Game Guarantee terms from the https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee-terms website, but broken apart to make the relevant section easier to digest:
> Refund requests can be made within
> * twenty-four (24) hours after you first launch the game, > * within seven (7) days from your date of purchase, > * or within seven (7) days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first.
> And if you purchase a new EA game within the first thirty (30) days of its release date and can't play it due to technical reasons within EA's control, you can request a refund within seventy-two (72) hours after you first launch the game instead of twenty-four (24).
Its an origin thing, nothing to do with the sub.
On The House is a program/designation : https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/free-games/on-the-house
List of previous games/DLC : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Origin%27s_On_the_House_games
This appears to be a one-off offer for no particular reason.
IS there a gift function in Origin now???? Cause that would be fucking awesome.
Or did you just log into his account and purchase it for him using your payment method. If that is the case the normal via the great games gaurentee
A few things.
PS4 controllers don't really work natively with Windows, valve made their own "drivers" so to say to make the dual shock work on Steam.
DS4windows (http://ds4windows.com) basically takes the commands from a DS4 controller and passes them over to a virtual Xbox 360 controller. As far as Windows knows, you're using a 360 controller to play. DS4windows will let you use the controller either wired or wirelessly (assuming your computer has Bluetooth).
An Xbox One controller would work fine, windows comes with the needed drivers installed. You can use it wired for sure, you can use it wirelessly depending on a few things. If you have an older Xbox One controller you can only connect wirelessly if you have the right wireless adaptor, if you have a newer one (or any Xbox Series X/S controller) you can connect to your computer with Bluetooth.
Sounds like your having uber fun.
you could try the following
Logging into https://www.origin.com using your PSN sign in details not your origin account details. ( click on the login button -- then on the new window click the psn button)
Downloading the origin games client ( pc or mac it doesn't matter ) sign into it and make sure you have an EA ID and a security question set( the origin client forces ya to set up an ea id if you don't have one).
If you have more than one console id attached to your account I would advise getting rid have heard the consoles or Origin gets confused if there is more than one on an account. ( you may need to contact support for that)
Once you do that would suggest power-cycling the router/modem ( turn off for at least 30 seconds and turn back on) and do the same for your console, and let us know how it goes.
> scam. Watch_dogs isn't available on Origin. Only Steam and UPlay.
Correction: Watch_Dogs is available for preorders on Origin
But this email is a scam as it's @support.com not xx.origin.com or xx.ea.com
Hey not sure if your still having the issue. My friend had the same issue. They contacted support and had her update the OS to high sierra, she was running yosemite before. (https://www.apple.com/macos/high-sierra/). It should be free hope it helps!
Yep. accounts.ea.com is down. Can't login through Origin client or Origin.com. Attempted to explain to EA Live Chat that there system is down, and was told that it was a problem on my end several times...
GUYS, I got it to work!
I used this free VPN
Good luck guys!
Can I get one of you guys who's running into this problem to download and install Wireshark from here, https://www.wireshark.org/download.html. Once you have, launch the program and click on Ethernet or Wireless Network Adapter (whichever one you're using to connect with). Once you've done that, click Capture. Exit Origin if it's already running and then start Origin. Let it time out. Once it's timed out, please click File > Save As... and name the file OriginID.pcap. After you've saved the file out, e-mail it to and we'll get it over to our networking team so we can take a look at what's going on.
Thanks guys.
You are absolutely right u/Frostby! Thank you for the tip! :D I connected via the VPN using NordVPN, and changed my region from SA to UK, then I was able to finally register a new EA/Origin account. After that I could change back to SA, and log in successfully.
Using a VPN to make a purchase is pretty risky and likely to result in an account ban.
You'd probably be safer buying a digital code from a retailer like Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Age-Inquisition-Game-Digital/dp/B0167AK9Y8?th=1
West coast here checking in. Still cant get into Origin. My roomates on the same network can but i cannot.

Update: its been almost 24 hours now since the problems started. I contacted EA support and was told: " First of all really appreciate your enthusiasm towards the game to report this issue as per the information i have the many player reported the same and our team investigate the issue and once they complete the investigation they would be resolved the issue . You have been our greatest gamers and we just expect little patience and co-operation on this part while we are working on it. "

Update#2: Got sick of waiting and got a free VPN (TunnelBear) and was able to log in, after i was in the main menu on APEX Legends, i turned off the VPN, and am now able to play for the foreseeable future.
I've seen other redditers post this solution and have it actually work. Super annoying, but I have been contemplating on purchasing NordVPN for quite some time. $2.99 a month for 3 years? Total is about $107, but that is not a bad price whatsoever. It could help out a lot in the future with other problems I know I will definitely run into.
There are two Origin Access tiers:
Premier
Basic
Premier gives you access to a large library of titles on Origin, including new releases of EA games with DLC (some older games also have DLC included but not all).
Basic gives you access to a more limited library of titles, they are usually a bit "older" (think Mirrors Edge Catalyst and Sims 4) AND it gives you a 10 hour trial to some of the games included in Premier, however I believe it is 10 hours one time, not per month.
Scroll down and you shall see all the full games you can play with Origin Access. Or just Google Oring access vault games. It works as a monthly (or yearly which is waaaaay cheaper) subscription.
https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/origin-access
They keep adding new games and dlcs. You also get a 10% discount (which is also applied if an item is on sale do you get to pay 10% less)
Personally I have been using it for a year and a half and I can say I got more than my money worth ( I bought a yearly sub).
Some big titles on top of my head Battlefield 1 Fifa 18 Madden 19 A way out NFS payback All of Dragon age and Mass Effect.
YEah there is , EA/Origin where the first company to offer refunds on digital products under their Great Games Guarantee
Go check it out,
Go here, scroll down, check out the list, click "Show More", and keep clicking "Show More" until the list ends.
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/origin-access
Basically, some of the 3rd party titles on Origin are not in the subscription (e.g. Witcher 3), but it looks like more or less every EA title is.
Are you 100 percent sure?
If I go to the main page, it shows basic contains 122 games, Premier contains 127 games.
https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/origin-access/premier
That 5 difference seems a few for all games released in the past.
I noticed it too! I believe there might be a problem with their system.
The only new game you can download is Cities: Skyline and Darksiders doesn't even have a price!
~~It should hopefully be fixed sometimes next week.~~
It seems to be fixed now! If you still can't download it try these links:
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/origin-access/vault-games
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/mad-games-tycoon/mad-games-tycoon
Origin Access Premier includes BFV Deluxe Edition. You can contact support and ask them to cancel the pre-order that you have already done on Origin and simply wait until Origin Access Premier launches and then hop on to that. I am not sure if you are going to lose those 5 bonus weapons in BF1 - https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/origin-access/ea_play
Tried with CMD, no success. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/windows-administrator-account-everything-need-know/ It says that I am administrator and that I'm using administrator account but no success again.
I have the exact same problems with this game. I'm running Windows 8. It's been terrible so far, my little sister has been in tears all night.. so have i for having to operate on windows 8.
it just freezes up randomly.
closes out randomly
barely loads/takes forever to load..
doesn't save (display) settings.
There is no "capability mode" option in properties either for me.. ugh, i hate this game already.
I think this is why it is free. EA is ended support for it last week so now all we have are lemons basically. She can run sims 3 perfectly but not an older version?
I wish I never told my sister about this at least, I've been up all night trying the same bs as you just to get it working for her. :/
Supposedly this might have to do with your ISP peering with some weird/suboptimal CDN.
If you happen to use a ping booster/VPN service, toggle your efforts with that (try with/without), and see if that helps. Otherwise there's an R&D mode for Origin that might use a different CDN/policy and has been said to help people with their download speeds: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Store:Origin#Origin_stops_downloading_after_an_ungiven_threshold
Good luck!
Try removing the Nvidia Physx driver and then install this one: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-19-0218-driver/
https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/battlefield/battlefield-4/premium-edition#compare
If you scroll down to the compare editions section of BF4 it seems like its only China Rising thats included. Is this just a bug then?
You can just sign up for Origin Access for 4.99 for a month or 29.99 for the year. It has that game plus a bunch others. For 5 bucks you can get a lot of game time with your friends and then move on.
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/origin-access/vault-games
If you are having this problem in other titles I would uninstall and reinstall Origin with there latest client.
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/download
If you need help uninstalling https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
When this link works.. origin will also work.. currently it is throwing an internal serer error.. usually it would be aan online dispay for a user to log in https://accounts.ea.com/connect/auth?response_type=code&client_id=ORIGIN_SPA_ID&display=originXWeb/login&locale=en_US&redirect_uri=https://www.origin.com/views/login.html
Both of those games are dead afaik. People have switched to PVZ GW 2 and Titanfall 2. Origin Access allows you to play plenty of games for just few bucks a month. Learn more - https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/origin-access
https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/origin-access/faq
Can I play Origin Access games on PC and Mac?
Origin Access is only available on PC. Vault games and Play First Trials cannot be played on a Mac.
Having this problem as well. Even the web-based origin is fucked up, even when I opened it in incognito in a new browser window, nothing ever comes up
I don't know about how long it takes in Russia, but in Canada the website (https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee-terms) says this:
> "You will get a response within forty-eight (48) hours after your request is submitted and your refund within seven (7) to ten (10) days if you meet the Great Game Guarantee refund requirements."
Did you buy with a credit card? Some payment methods are not refundable, which it would have shown during the original purchase flow.
It looks like there are some other terms here which may also mean purchases aren't refundable: https://www.origin.com/can/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee-terms
Just stumbled upon this link:https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Store:Origin#Origin_stops_downloading_after_an_ungiven_threshold
Works like a charm for me. I jumped from 1mb/s to 12...
Doesn't it say digital download on the box and what to do to get the game? Pretty sure it's an Origin collection, though, so just download Origin, make an EA/Origin account if you don't have one yet and fill in the key in the Origin client. You can activate it through the web, but you'll want the client anyway to download your games.
https://www.origin.com/ (download button is not very prominent on the left)
https://help.ea.com/uk/help/origin/origin/redeem-your-serial-code-in-origin/
Reinstalled in on C:, still the same white blank screen. Strange thing is the same happens on https://www.origin.com
Edit: But i'm glad to find out i could start and play Battlefield1 with the shortcut on my desktop
"You may return EA full game downloads (PC or Mac) and participating third party titles purchased on Origin for a full refund. Refund requests can be made within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within seven days from your date of purchase, or within seven days from the game's release date if you pre-ordered, whichever comes first. And if you purchase a new EA game within the first 30 days of its release date and can't play it due to technical reasons within EA's control, you can request a refund within 72 hours after you first launch the game instead of 24."
edit: link of their refund policy https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/great-game-guarantee
Nah ORigin isn't dying they just updated everything recently.
For Origin, you probably need to grab the new client as they just pushed a massive update front and back end, so uninstall Origin then go here grab the download file and you should be fine after the install.
Here is a help page about the update
In relation to the website sounds like you may have just closed the cookies preference notifications on chrome instead of accepting it and proceeding, So origin isn't letting any info be stored about anything ergo you can't log in.
If you don't have a CD key or anything, there's nothing that can be done for you. My advice? COMMAND & CONQUER™ THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION
PS. Processor caches goes back to 1992. Red Alert was 2000.
I just tried it this month because I said what the heck $5 and I get to play the new NFS for 10 hours. I canceled as soon as I purchased so it would not auto-renew.
You have access to all of the games listed under the origin vault: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/browse/vault-games
As is, there probably isn't enough there for me to want to pay $5 every month. I will definitely do it once in a while though especially if they are offering trials of their newest games.
Yes. Nothing works. Only thing that "works" is downloading EA Download Manager via this link: http://download.cnet.com/EA-Download-Manager/3000-2155_4-198970.html When this manager is downloaded and opened, it tells me that I'm going to install Origin. I am able to install Origin and everything goes without error, but when I try to run it, same thing happens again. Now I have Origin listed in Control Panel and in C:\Program Files (x86).
It be broken yo, been broke for ages according to this sub- reddit, EA's customer support, unless /u/Liquidboarder wants to advise other wise.
You could take advantage of EA's/Origin refund policy by buying the game download it, and then you have 24 hours from when you launch the game to use a refund.
But I would make sure your rig can run it before you try that
Well shit.
This was the answer, not only did I need to disconnect my NordVPN, exit out of the app but I also needed to kill the process which hangs around in task manager.
Thank you for the reply.
Start Origin in R&D mode[citation needed]
[connection] EnvironmentName=production [Feature] CdnOverride=akamai
Notes
The EACore.ini file is deleted from your desktop as soon as you import it. If you ever want to leave R&D mode you need to go to the location where Origin is installed and delete the EACore.ini file found there. It has been reported that having Origin in R&D-mode will increase your download speed.
You only get immediate weapon unlocks if you purchased the Digital Deluxe or Ultimate Editions (the latter of which includes the former).
The season pass only includes the Shoot First emote, noted here: https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/star-wars-battlefront/pc-download/addon/star-wars-battlefront-season-pass
If you purchased the DD or UE of the game, I'd recommend going to the website and see if you can add the weapons to your hand there.
The game is currently On the House at this moment. Try it: https://www.origin.com/en-sg/store/free-games/on-the-house?intcmp=EACom_OTHC&CRA2_MerchBox_s2&referringsite=ea&_ga=1.42649573.1541750955.1442400712
Who know's. But according to other posters on the bf4 sub reddit, EA support advised it was something they are aware of.
Suggestions are
Create a new origin account and use the trial on that account ( no need to download again since you already have ) or cheat and purchase the game and use Origins Great game gaurentee to request a refund before the time runs out.
But honestly BF4 premium edition is like 25 bucks has all the dlc and its an awesome game.
I'm trying to login from https://www.origin.com/en-sg/store/
A late email came in saying that my password has been updated so I thought maybe it registered late. I tried the new password but still to no avail.
As /u/matshelge advised you can't, but you can add it to your steam library so if you just want to use the overlay you can.
Also you can do the reverse and add non Origin games to your Origin libary and use the origin overlay Just to confuse the living hell out of all of your friends.
But it also allows you to use the integrated twitch streaming software that the origin client has.
From where are you downloading this? I installed this onto my brothers new pc and I kept getting these errors and I kept trying to fix it but had no results. I deleted it all and just for the sake of it downloaded it from https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends this site instead. After u get the client just stop the apex legends download. (if it even starts).
In Madden you get the HoF Edition with Origin Access Premier You can play 8 days before launch, and 5 days before Console HoF launch. And you get 50.000 Mut Coins on PC https://www.easports.com/madden-nfl/buy/usa
In Battlefield you also get the best version (Deluxe Edition) https://www.battlefield.com/buy/battlefield-5
But no info for FIFA.
Just checked, Origin is up. http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/origin.com.html My problem the last two nights is its not sending the security code. It was working fine during the day yesterday. I should have changed my settings when I had the chance, lol.
Check your speed at https://www.speedtest.net/. Your Origin speed is in bytes per second while speedtest will show bits per second (1 byte = 8 bits). So with 400 KB/s in Origin you should get 3200 Kb/s or ~3.2 Mb/s in speedtest. If your results are around that then your internet or Wi-Fi is the bottleneck.
DualSense as "itself" has <No Support> in the sense of https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/List_of_games_that_support_DualShock_4 that doesn't exist for DualSense... yet... Only 1-2 games of r/PCGaming supports it out of box. It's a Console Controller after all, definitely not designed for PC Gaming refusing to implement XInput.
So what you "Need" is a XInput Converter as in https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows or SCPToolkit or X360Ce or Steam Input so to convert your Console Input for DualSense into XInput for PC Games to understand. Such conversion makes your Console Controller work with "Every" game since now every game to think you're using XBox Controller (XInput).
This isn't about Origin, not about those games, it's all about your "Choice" to use Unsupported (yet) Console Controllers in PC Gaming so to devise your own solutions for it. On the Contrary, XBox X/S Series Controllers are merely <Plug Play>.
Sorry to say but Steam is the ONLY platform that supports Controllers as Controller Support is a thing that every Game is responsible for themselves instead of you assuming Steam's behavior to be present on Origin or any other competitor platforms. Steam has Controller Support ONLY because of the now retired of their own Hardware "Steam Controller".
Also Biomutant is NOT a EA/Origin game as the publisher THQ Nordic chosen many Stores to sell their product and they're the ONLY responsible Company for the lack of proper Controller Support that frustrated you. So your correspondence to a Rant/Suggestion/Wish is none other than THQ Nordic.
Also "Controller Support" can easily be Added to ANY game either via playing it "thru" Steam or using https://github.com/Ryochan7/DS4Windows for DualShock or https://github.com/Davidobot/BetterJoy for Switch and there are LOTS of other programs that adds Controller Support to end your frustration. This isn't so hard that you can Google more on this.
In short, EA is free of your misguided accusations...
These arent phising. I went to https://www.origin.com and tried logging in. didnt work. tried it until it started forcing me to do captcha. Used the link from the email, and I needed captcha now. changed my password using the email link. now i can log in to EA. They are in fact real emails from EA.
I would uninstall your antivirus and redownload a fresh copy and then scan your machine.
Also trading standards can't do jack shit in relation to a banned account as you agreed to the terms of sale and their Terms of service for EA Origin service which basically says, we own your account and can do what ever we want. Which is basically exactly the same as every other Terms of service for every online account you and I hold.
Guys seems that the last Origin client got a bug. Uninstall it proprerly (clean regedit and %ProgramData%) and re-install a previous version of client, for instance this one http://www.oldversion.com/windows/download/origin-9-0-2-2064 .
I'm downloading now, it works.
I have a workaround, but it's a bit of a hassle. If you uninstall origin and download and install an older version you will be able to log in again. You can download version 10.5.40.26928 from FileHippo
During installation uncheck 'Keep Origin and games up to date'. If you don't do this, it will download the latest version and not work.
After installing the older version log in and you'll be able to play your games. Be aware though that the next time you restart your computer Origin will force an update and you'll have to go through the same process again.
Install the previous version: https://filehippo.com/download_origin/
You have to do this every time you want to start Origin, instead of starting normally. Your settings and games are kept, but you have to login each time.
This method is a GUARANTEED fix for the 'online login is currently unavailable' or 'you need to be online in order to sign' while your internet connection is just fine. I've seen that this method has worked for everyone else who didn't manage to sign into origin after they put their time on automatic.
So:
1 Uninstall origin completely. Don't uninstall your games, just Origin.2 Go to this link: https://filehippo.com/download_origin/ .. It should be Origin version 10.5.41.272633. Download the Origin from this link and while in the pre-install menu, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you UNCHECK the box saying 'Keep origin and my games up to date'.4. Click install and Sign in and play !
Do not exit origin or you will have to repeat.Good luck
That error is caused by a missing VC++ file. While you reinstalled C++, there is a huge amount of versions of C++ out there, and you would need a super complete pack to have them all.
Workarounds for this is to do a system refresh on Windows, it reinstalls all the standard packs, and thats what Origin uses, so that should work.
A faster, but somewhat more wonky workaround, is to install something like this (http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/VC-Redist-Installer.shtml) its a homebrew super collection of all the common VC files, and fixes a bunch of people up.
I'm not aware of any subscription services that just end at end of the month, ignoring when you subscribed. Nonetheless, I got Access couple of days ago for the 1000 Apex Coins, and the subscription renewal date is the same day next month, so 31 days total.
Nope, you got to sign up for the beta, which you can do here
But Origin Access members to get to play the game before it goes on sale, via full game trials.
Titanfall 2 (TF2) is a good game yet it's a Multiplayer as it was nearly dead until previous summer that Origin "returned" to Steam so that Steam players revivedr TF2 back to its glory. Since it' a MP game, it's also a "Server" game that explains your activation part.
Most of PC Gaming Platforms on r/GameDeals have <Clients> which is a Launcher + DRM Checker + few other things as there are no ways to escape this. Except you can use GOG Store that every program is "optional" so that you can buy Pure Game files on that store.
You're somewhat "overthinking" it as we get used to install clients of; Steam, GOG (has 1 but optional), Origin, UPlay, Microsoft and Epic. Also many Publisher Stores have their own launchers too like; Rockstar, Blizzard, Bethesda and dozens of others. In fact to keep "track" of things, there came the tools like http://playnite.link/ to <Unite> the libraries together for visual purposes.
Origin Client (v1) is generally OK but same function of EA Desktop (v2) is very buggy being in Beta testing. Also if you're going to use any Store told here, please enable 2FA like told in https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/account/ea-login-verification-information/ for "Mobile" since it became common to hack someone's Email first that hack into Origin using that Email.
I managed to get Crysis uninstalled through a program I have called BCUninstaller (Bulk Crap Uninstaller). https://www.bcuninstaller.com/ This even scans for any leftover files in your system and removes them.
