You only have to wait 2mins 30 sec after banner pick up and you can leave the game without penalty.

There's been a bunch of misinformation out there about "server contracts ending," and it actually isn't true. Just misinformation.
We also had an engineer go in-depth on the tickrate question in this blog. We think there's a bunch of high-impact work we can do to improve server performance, and hopefully you've noticed some improvements with this latest season launch.
In terms of expanding into less well-covered regions, nothing to announce here. Which regions do you think need better coverage?
True. It is no exaggeration that other battlepasses that cost 10 give 50 times more stuff.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/battle-pass
That's way over 100 cosmetic items. And you get enough currency to buy the next one. So you really only need to pay 10 once.
>“Our long-term goal is to ensure Apex Legends always feels alive and thriving, with a focus on quality of content over novelty or speed of release,” McCoy wrote in a blog post. “At the same time, we want to maintain our culture as a development team and avoid crunch that can quickly lead to burnout or worse.”
>
>The news comes just a day after Polygon reported on the working conditions at Fortnite developer Epic, where artists, programmers, and waves of new contract employees have been experiencing months of intense crunch in order to keep up with the game’s rapid update schedule.
I respect the folks in charge of Respawn for acknowledging that crunch is bad and taking steps to avoid it. It shows that they care about their devs' well-being.
Unfortunately, they're paying the price for avoiding crunch, and that price is lost revenues. Over at Epic, Fortnite developers are getting burned out and treated like garbage, but the game is continues to make a lot of money, so the people in charge there don't care.
Whether they realize it or not, gamers are encouraging game companies to abuse their workers, because all of our money keeps going to games that were developed with excessive crunch. It's not just Fortnite, it's also every Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption 2 and anything else made by Rockstar, League of Legends, and countless other games. I suspect that a vast majority of AAA games are made with crunch.
Meanwhile, Respawn - one of the only AAA studios that has made an effort to avoid crunch - is losing money.
We won't ever get better servers. Instead we got this blogpost, it should tell you everything you need to know. They wouldn't even have bothered to write up that post if changes were even considered.
They try to explain why more than 20hz doesn't matter for instance. Just ignore the fact that literally every other big multiplayer game out there has their servers running 60hz tickrate (or more!). They are doing it wrong according to the Apex Legends devs.
So my recommendation would be to keep your expectations in check.
It changes to every 5 levels at 300.
>The Player Level cap has been increased from 100 to 500. Players can now earn a total of 199 Apex Packs related to Player Level rewards at the following cadence:
>Level 2 - 20: One pack every level (19 Apex Packs total)
Level 22 - 300: One pack every two levels (140 Apex Packs total)
Level 305 - 500: One pack every five levels (40 Apex Packs total)
You will continue to earn 600 Legend Tokens per level and per 18,000 XP at level 500
Unsurprisingly for this sub, you have that entirely backwards:
“What happens if one of them rounds a corner, so that they can suddenly see each other? Well, LOW has the advantage here as well. LOW is less “into the past,” so they get to see HIGH first. Once again, LOW has the advantage due to their ping. This adds on to the advantage where LOW’s bullets get to the server faster.
These cases are "unfair" in the sense that LOW has an advantage, but they are "fair" in the sense that it's reasonable to expect that the player with lower ping would get the advantage in this situation.
Now, what happens if LOW goes behind a corner to get into cover? Well, HIGH is still in the past when LOW is not covered, so HIGH can shoot LOW before they get into cover, but LOW won't find out about it until HIGH's packets have made it to the server and then to LOW. By this time, LOW sees that they’re safely in cover, yet LOW still got hit. From LOW's perspective, this is a bit of nonsense.”

The full paragraph is - Lastly, regarding other games in development at Respawn, it is important to understand that there are entirely separate development teams working on Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Additionally, in order to fully support Apex Legends, we are pushing out plans for future Titanfall games. No resources from the Apex Legends team are being shifted to other titles in development here at the studio, nor are we pulling resources from the team working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
> Bangalore is a pilot, clear past military experience .... I think Bangalore was sent into the game to infiltrate and gather information, learning the layout of Kings Canyon while feeding information back to the other Organization.
Bangalore is not a pilot, she's an IMC grunt who was sent on a mission to retrieve a merc fleet. Her and her team were ambushed leaving her stranded and out of contact with the IMC. She joined the Apex games to earn money to get back home to her family.
That's actually an official concept art. It is on the Octane page on Apex's website but I don't think it was that one I was thinking about.

I hope their method of Cross-Play works like Apex Legends does.
in the meantime, they better update their Controller Settings, as it is very limited in scope. they would be destroyed by Keyboard/Mouse (and god forbid; non-KB+M Input methods like Wooting Two, Azeron Gaming Keypad, Steam Controller, Gyro Aiming)
The site has at least 900 coins in the premium. Plus the 400 free. My guess is that by the time the CE rolls around many players who buy the premium pass will have reached enough to potentially buy a CE pack for no additional cost.

Which, hopeully won't mean stupid little dinky mobile games are on the horizon.
So the maps POIs look pretty huge and varied in terrain with lots of trees and cover, the dev who worked Worlds edge has worked on this and says it 15% bigger than we so the biggest map in apex .
Removal of jump towers will reduce the third parties .
The mini pve zones will provide for loot of the current loadout , some evo dmg , some crafting material so doing them can be good like the trials
I absolutely love the colors and the different variety of POIS each one looks unique ,the new buildings , trees look pretty solid
Also really excited for ash it seems like portal can travel to high points as well +she looks badass .
Really fucking hyped for the next season hope the servers stay strong and the patch notes are good ! Looking forward to it great job Respawn Map looks beautiful and unique and def can be a viable alternative that worlds edge needs !

Brief but actually small promising changes to the battle pass for Season 2 coming, let’s hope hitbox/cheaters/hit reg are fixed too.
Except for Wraith and Bloodhound, they all have names. You can find out more about each Legend's LORE/origins on the official Apex website: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/about/characters
FYI this is not official twitter account. And ea.com says:
Porting Apex Legends to its smallest screen yet is a major achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without our friends at Panic Button.

By the way, it also says, that we will get 30 levels of battle pass and double xp in the first two weeks.
From what I recall, the scene has been mostly community run until now outside of few big tournaments, but EA just revealed their Global Series for this year: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/compete/overview
I just checked and made a mistake. It’s not Olympus it’s “former IMC controlled hotspot Kómma on planet Solace”. It was also mentioned to be “home to various questionable activities has become a ghost town”.

"Use your Ultimate and Tactical abilities wisely, as you’ll have a limited number of uses each round, instead of recharging indefinitely like other modes. Legends start with some Tactical charges, but additional charges and Ultimate abilities can be purchased with materials when customizing your loadout. This allows more Legends to be made viable in Arenas, and forces characters with very strong tacticals (like Bloodhound) to make choices between weapon upgrades or more tactical charges.
Don’t worry, unused Ultimate and Tactical charges will carry over to the next round."
Check the season 9 launch patch notes. It literally says that white helmets and knockdowns are out of the loot pool. here
My man just use google and do some basic math, stop being a weirdo.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/algs-championship-prize-pool
This shows that $5 of each $25 bundle went towards the prize pool. Prize pool was originally 1 mil, boosted up to 2.5 with skin sales, meaning 1.5 mil was added. If 1.5 is 1/5th of the total amount made, then 7.5 million dollars were made from these 4 skins. Happy?
More details about Season 10 - "Emergence" (color: emerald/jade):
> Respawn has said that a very small percentage of the player base actually plays ranked.
This is demonstrably false.
From the season 9 ranked dev blog:
> We’re seeing a healthy trend of players achieving higher ranks and pushing personal bests. This influx of players at the high end has improved match quality and quantity by giving us a larger pool of players to fill matches with. As a result we saw fewer matches that needed to pull players from different ranks to fill lobbies. In fact, Season 8 has been our most successful ranked season yet, with some days nearing 50% of all matches being played in ranked, depending on time of day and region. Not only that, but we saw a huge upturn in players returning in the second split to continue their ranked journey!
Sure, it's pretty clear they don't prioritize changes for ranked. But it's not because no one plays it.
> Of that group, around 2% are Diamond and above.
The blog says it's more like 6%.
Not really a good example at all, nor is it even accurate. There absolutely is lore.
>Gibraltar is a gentle giant with a wild side. The son of two SARAS (Search and Rescue Association of Solace) volunteers, he has always been skilled at getting others out of dangerous situations that are common in the Outlands. That's it. That's the extent of Gibralter's homosexuality in the lore, a simple mention that his boyfriend stole a motorbike. No fanfare. No 'pandering'. Nothing. Just "boyfriend" instead of "girlfriend", and that's literally it. And yet, here we are, focusing entirely on that one word in all the lore. Please, stop pandering to the insecure homophobes who have a mental breakdown over anything that isn't entirely heterosexual.
This is just a small tease. New Legend is coming and in one of the previous updates they did mention that current map is going to have some changes

I know you're getting alot of love here already, but I want to toss my love into that lot. Gamedev is tricky business, especially on this scale, and toxicity is inevitable.
Onto my question. The main thing I think everyone points to is just the scattered message. I hate to compare your game to another one, but Destiny 2 had this exact same problem during Year 1 and 2, it was actively destroying their community. The solution they landed on, which has been working really well for the past 2 years was their weekly This Week At Bungie (TWAB) blog. These posts contain some info about major known issues, planned reworks and re-balances (even if they're months out), community highlights and such like that.
The usage of this blog has completely revitalized their community, everyone who cares about the game waits for those with baited breath, knowing they're going to hear a bit about what's going on in the studio. It's served its job as a central info hub very well, and I really think it would behoove your studio to do something similar. (Note, I know you have the blog here but this area currently just serves as marketing info, not real in-studio news)
tl;dr: What are your thoughts on a weekly in-studio produced blog being your central point of contact?

But they do permanently kill people in the lore. It's something important in Lifeline's backstory that makes her a deeper character.
This is the original post from Respawn > We’ll be giving out gun charms, badges, and dive trails again based on the highest tier achieved this Ranked Series. However, from here onward, dive trails will be temporary for all future series. This is to help alleviate the visual space when everyone is dropping to the map, because as it stands now there would eventually be too many trails and they would lose their meaning. For example, if you place Apex Predator in Ranked Series 3, you will have the Apex Predator dive trail available for the duration of Series 4, then it will be removed. Players who earned any dive trail in Series 1 or 2 will be grandfathered in, and will keep the trails forever. We currently plan for a set of 4 dive trails that return in a cyclical fashion every year, so for example, players can get the chance to earn the same dive trails in Ranked Series 3 and in future Ranked Series 7 a year from now, while another set will be available to earn for Ranked Series 4 and Ranked Series 8, and so forth.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/ranked-series-3-details?isLocalized=true
If it was changed back at some point, I never heard about it. I've always thought this was still the case. I can't find anything official saying they went back to permanent trails as a ranked reward.
Everything in that Gaming Merchant video contradicts my own personal experience with ranked arenas points.
Nothing in the official explanation mentions anything about AP or MMR being affected by doing higher damage, getting more kills, having fewer deaths, having a higher win-rate, going on win streaks, etc.
I originally assumed it was just an error, but then I tried to figure out where they got that year from. It seems like the issue is that his character profile says he's 54, but the current year is 2734, which points to 2680. Soooo I guess there's just an inconsistency...?
Respawn just announced L-Star info plus changes to ammo stacks, new hop-ups, arc star adjustments and more!

>Gibraltar: He likes to go on motorbike rides with his boyfriend
And what?, as I said it's just a character trait, the whole Gibraltar character doesn't revolve around him being a gay guy that likes to ride motorcycles with his boyfriend, personal relationships are a bigger central aspect in other legends. Wattson and his father, Crypto and his family, etc.
And btw this is Gibraltar's official description no mention of his boyfriend, and even if they mentioned it wouldn't be a problem at all.
>Gibraltar is a gentle giant with a wild side. The son of two SARAS (Search and Rescue Association of Solace) volunteers, he has always been skilled at getting others out of dangerous situations that are common in the Outlands. You're right, damn those entitled children! Good thing we have people like you on the internet to set people straight
It's in his legend profile in the official website: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/about/characters/makoa-gibraltar
> Many of Gibraltar’s friends and colleagues have competed in the Games for extra money, fame, and glory over the years, and some never came home. Gibraltar joined to keep them safe and, for the first time, his skills as a rescuer and his rebellious nature worked together.
This is Bangalore's backstory
If you scroll down that page some you'll see The Frontier War Cover-up, which is recently added and directly contradicts what has been on her page.
Her story has been her and brother and the rest of the squad are on a mission and ambushed. Squad scatters, brother fights off attackers so Bang can make a getaway. She doesn't know what happens to him.
This new piece of lore. The Frontier War thing, suggests he dies when their ship gets hit after a mission and he got sucked out.
So.... to answer your question, yes Apex has lore. But it doesn't look like it'll have much consistency and can change anytime.
Sorry maybe wrong title, more like Infos for arenas

This timer was added in Season 4, it just doesn't show. After 2.5 minutes you can safely leave, the penalty notice will disappear.
> Abandon: Leaving a match before it is over for you, while you do not have loss forgiveness. "Before it is over for you" is defined as the player is still able to play, e.g. you are still alive, or you are dead but waiting to be respawned etc. A notable exception to this is if your banner has been picked up and you have not respawned within 2 and a half minutes, you will not be considered abandoning if you leave.
> then complaining they aren't making enough money to upgrade servers?
They never said they don't have enough money to do it. They just said that they simply won't do it and gave a laundry list of reasons why their networking structure is perfectly fine. Spoiler: it's not.
They are definitely doing something else behind the scenes.
> Thanks to the work of a couple of our engineers, this is now easily tunable on the fly, and we have the ability to iterate on or even revert it completely without a client update.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/evolution-collection-event
Actually you're right! i checked through a few lore pieces, (A twitter post and A loading screen) and they indicate that Crypto did hack into a match, but it was actually into a qualifier match and not the official matches. This makes me wonder what is required to enter the qualifiers. Probably not going to learn that soon, if at all sadly. Seems like lots of people can get into the matches since some people that Gibralter knew, actually competed in the games.
Stop taking the blame off Respawn please. Yes, they are good developers, but they also make mistakes, and one of them is monetization. They have already admitted it but apparently they do not change.
That's not true.
You get tokens every level, but completely stop earning Apex packs after hitting max level.
199 free packs from leveling, that's all you get, no more no less.
edit: lmao several people downvoting an easily verifiable fact. 199 packs from leveling and then no more.
>he only began to understand the value of protecting others when he and his boyfriend stole his father’s motorcycle
>Honestly, I believe Respawn’s main problem is that they don’t allocate their resources efficiently post launch of their games.
> ...
>TL;DR Respawn’s main problem is that they don’t focus on their unlockable content enough for people to come back to their game, because they always expect that gameplay alone can do it for them.
Here's a more banal conspiracy for you. Maybe Respawn takes longer to update their games in comparison to the competitors you've listed because they dedicate less manpower due to having a whole 'nother game to release and don't crunch their employees.
I mean, you can get a lot more done when you're slavedriving your employees into pulling 70-100+ hour work weeks over at Fortnite/Epic Games and COD/Treyarch.
ALGS is the biggest tournament. ALGS Year 2 started recently and they have a league format going on. The official stream is on www.twitch.tv/playapex but a lot of competitors stream their POV. No, we can't, because if you would do this to a fictional character you would also do it to a real person.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/about/characters/bloodhound
On the official EA Apex Legends wiki, Bloodhound is referred to as "they". Respawn has said that Bloodhound being addressed in game as "she" is a bug, and false.
You're the mental one here, because you can't do something as simple as saying "them" instead of "her". You keep saying "for me it's a she", but when it comes to ones gender, your opinions are invalid.
From EA's website, this is no doubt the new Light ammo LMG, and with the rumor that Spitfire is going into carepackage and being replaced by Prowler on ground loot, this is certainly the LMG replacing it for Rampart mains and LMG pool in general. I for one absolutely love this thing, simply because out of any baseline skin and modeling for a gun it looks so beautiful, maybe on par with the devotion or r-301 for me. Hope it doesnt absolutely suck!!

https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/season-6-ranked
The tl;dr is "we aren't changing anything for ranked because we feel it's working perfectly fine". You may not remember because they split it into this little blog on its own and didn't mention ranked at all in the Dev stream or the patch notes.
edit: I reread it, and to be fair they do say "we're looking into exciting ways to change ranked" at the bottom, but...that's very generic and doesn't mention the giant issues a lot of us are having re: good matchmaking (like silver versus predator) or smurfs all over the place.
Notes from the crafting docs that will seemingly have an affect (https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/season-6-crafting)
Loot that is on rotation in the Crafting system will not spawn on the ground, meaning if the R301 and Anvil Receiver are on rotation and you want that firepower - finding a Replicator is a surefire way to get it, provided you have the Materials to pay for it. This loot is called out in several places so you’ll always be able to have this information at hand.
The dive trail was the sole reason I grinded ranked this season, not knowing they will ONLY go to Master/Predator ranks (top 0.4%). My stupid fault for missing that tidbit of information when the season began, but dang does it suck.
I figured they removed it because the number of people in diamond was too high, but 2.5% of the playerbase doesn't seem like a lot to me.
For anyone wondering where I got the data: here is the link
There are short character bios on the official website for the game.
Gibraltar is gay. As far as I know, he was gay from the moment the game/site launched.
Bloodhound is a mystery entrant, anonymous and shrouded in wild rumors. No one in-universe or out has the slightest idea what's between his/her/its legs or who he/she/it might wish to have sex with.
It's now almost two seasons old. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. It's called the "New West Rotation."
I guess the reason no one really talks about it is because the map has turned into Fragment's Edge and no one really rotates that way anymore. Next split more people will probably mention it since World's Edge will be the ranked map.
There is lag compensation. Other comp games prioritize and give advantage to the people with the best connection. Respawn instead evens it out so that people are not disadvantaged. They explain it here.
No she reloads faster too. try it out in the firing range, but careful when swapping characters with an LMG equipped, it'll keep her mag size and reload speed untill you pick up a new gun. Check the bottom right of the screen, you should see a graphic indicating her passive is active
^ ...LOL but if platinum & higher players don't queue with a full party, matchmaking gives them bronze & silver random teammates (or even teammates still in placement matches) who die fast & first every round - setting the entire team up to fail & get de-ranked from AP loss.
This system seems like it was a rushed afterthought.
For anyone saying you can block grenades with objects, it was supposed to be fixed some time ago. SEASON 8: MAYHEM PATCH NOTES:
I played a few rounds on a Sydney server (I'm in Europe) with a 300ms ping at the beginning of the season when all servers were down.
It worked surprisingly well. I could play as usual and got a hit marker for every shot that I actually hit. The feedback was just very delayed. I hit an enemy, but the hit marker came about a second late. I guess it's the same for the enemies (or half a second if they have proper pings).
I understand that it feels bad getting killed behind cover, but it's actually working really well if you accept that it's delayed feedback. There's been a blog post about how this stuff exactly works by Respawn developers lately.
Yes, the graph is from 2019, but the tickrate is still 20 and minimal improvements will not noticeably change delays.
After 2 years they release an indepth blog about netcode (https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/servers-netcode-developer-deep-dive) which can be summarized with the thread title.
Although they did explain why problems with servers occurs.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/amp/news/servers-netcode-developer-deep-dive
https://www.reddit.com/r/apexlegends/comments/n0pymg/official_respawn_qa_on_new_servers_netcode_and/
I don't want to come off as rude, but honestly I don't care what they do to farm RP, my problem with this is that a platinum player should NEVER be playing against top tier players in a balanced ranked environment. I need 4800 RP to be in platinum, they need at least 10000 RP to hit masters/pred.
My squad was made of another plat 4 and a gold 2. We can't possibly learn how to be better players if this is what we're up against every other game. I wouldn't mind waiting in queue a bit longer for more balanced matchmaking, which ironically is what respawn said they would do to higher tier lobbies here.
https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/season-8
Their official site as of today still says "Play on Switch when season 8 launches!" Which was yesterday.
What clearly happened was a last minute delay. It was by all accounts supposed to launch yesterday. Whatever happened, caused it to be delayed another 5 weeks or so.
They're not in a bubble. They had to have known that fans expected a 2/2 release. Saying something a day or two before the season would have gone a long way to avoid that reaction.
I ctrl f'd in the rule book and the only mentions of coaching are in the sections about coaching being banned mid-match so I'm not really sure on the legality of it.
Regardless, it looks like it doesn't matter since both hodsic and crusader are clarifying that Casper's team will not be a 2nd comp roster for Liquid so hodsic probably wont coach Casper's team
It was a bug fix. It wasn't intentional. https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/game-and-event-update-june-2019
and if you check his character introduction video he was fully invisible when he used his ultimate. https://youtu.be/gPHlrmyM8v4
I have so much fun translating Mirage's dating profile into Chinese. What an adorable character. I hope there will be a female Legend having romantic relationship with him in the future.
It's been discussed so much that Respawn but out an entire blog post on it. Ultimately, there isn't much a fanbase can do.

^ ...LOL but if platinum & higher players don't queue with a full party, matchmaking gives them bronze & silver random teammates (or even teammates still in placement matches) who die fast & first every round, setting the entire team up to fail & get de-ranked from AP loss.
This system seems like it was a rushed afterthought.
There are 2 ranking systems in Ranked Arena, Visible (The rank you see) and Hidden (The MMR that RSPN has talked about here)
Matchmaking will be based on a combination of the 2 ranks combined but more weight will be put on the Hidden rank.
IF your Hidden rank is higher (By a certain margin) than your opponents, Then you'll earn less AP for that win.
IF your Hidden rank is LOWER than your opponents then youll earn MORE AP for a win (This is the "Bonus" AP they talk about in that post above)
The Visible rank CAN be MANY tiers/ranks lower than your hidden one and vice versa.
Once your Visible and Hidden rank "Equal out" then your AP per win will fluctuate a little bit due to your Hidden rank being higher or lower than your opponents.

Increase horizontal recoil in Auto Mode "
That's straight from the season 6 patch notes, you're wrong. Check them for yourself if you don't believe me: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/season-6-patch-notes

here you go. imagine DICE telling the people higher tickrate servers won't alleviate their problems. I still can't comprehend the fact that instead of solving problems they decide to write this statement after all this time. What a fucking shitshow. Knowing EA and how things go I think we are seeing the beginning of the end and sooner or later Respawn gets taken to the EA backyard to "live on the farm upstate"
It was in the season patch notes (dev note under Mirage changes) https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/ascension-patch-notes
However I believe the idea was elaborated on in an interview/talk they did with the season launch, but it's a lot harder to search for an excerpt from a stream, so I can't locate it!
The letter on the cork board next to the Bamboozles, is this one from her father.
If anyone is curious what the letter on the desk says, I took the liberty of transcribing;
> Hey, Li'l Sis,
> Gibraltar here. Hope the sun's starting to shine for you again. I know you didn't wanna hear anything about Caustic before, and I respect that. You don't have to read this letter now - or ever. Read it tomorrow. Read it next year. Throw it in the trash and never read it at all, but I think you have a right to know the truth. I bet it would mean a lot to Crypto if you did - but right now what matters most is what you want and how you feel. I think you deserve to know, but no matter what, it's okay. Gibraltar still loves you!
> Caustic told me the truth: He betrayed Loba. He didn't like what she doing. I can't say she went about it the best way, but putting her in Revanant's path was wrong. He hurt a lot of people in the process - like you. You deserve an apology, but that's not Gibraltar's to give.
> Picking Crypto to take the fall wasn't an accident. I don't know what's going on in Caustic's head, but he has it out for the kid. Now, I'll be honest - I think it has something to do with you, but it's not your fault li'l sis, you let them sort it out. You just do you - and you decide who gets to be there while you do it. That's all Gibraltar's got. If you need to talk, let me know. Always here with an ear and a big bear hug, haha!

I can see why they nerf the EMP and tweaked Revenant's totem, because it started to get annoying with the help of Wraith and Revenant to easily push enemies squads by making them weaker and silenced.
Now that the EMP slows your teammates, people are not going to be happy about us (specially the randoms), because if your team and the enemy squad are close, it could help my squad by making the enemy squad weaker, or I ended helping the enemy squad by making my teammates an easy target if they are in the open without taking cover because I slow them.
Which means that using the EMP now requires timing and positioning so I can't disrupt my teammates.
Also they fixed an issue where the EMP couldn't destroy Loba's Black Market.

Where did OP even get his claim from? It clearly states on the official page this skin is event LIMITED. It’s not an exclusive skin.

The point of the Apex Games is to provide entertainment to the outlands. Not to recruit new predators. Ash joined the games to "transcend humanity" to be better than everyone else.
Here is some sources:
Seriously. Every one of those cosmetics will be craftable and able to be found in normal packs after the event.
Found on the EA website: "Monsters Within Packs are available for a limited time during the Monsters Within Event, but the items will always be available in the standard Apex Pack pool of items"

Actually, a few months ago, Respawn put out a blog post explaining how the server tickrate they use is good for the game, citing how it would bridge the gap between low ping and high ping players. (As a South African, it does not help. )
Edit: Hyperlinked the post.
Not sure if you can read this paragraph and comprehend what it means, but knock yourself out. I hope you someday come to grips with OTHER people’s sexuality. Maybe you should experiment I’m sure there’s a lot about yourself you are suppressing

^^ full patch notes, unfortunately only Sheila changes and no tactical or passive changes.
Dude, they literally said it: https://www.ea.com/games/apex-legends/news/arenas-ranked
>This also means that in Ranked Arenas there’s no demotion protection—you can demote a ranked tier, going from Plat IV to Gold I after a loss, for example. Don’t worry though, you will still get rewards at the end of the season based on your highest tier reached.
Disclaimer: "highest tier" does not include Predator, that rank must be maintained in order to get the rewards.
No they did not turn off aim assist
>To maintain competitive integrity, all controller players will be competing using PC-value aim assist settings, regardless of their platform.
